About Me

My favorite color is GREEN!

As of April 2015, I am a czt and totally addicted to tangling. I also hold classes in zentangle.

I love things from nature like trees, leaves, butterflies, flowers and birds. Even fairies and goddesses make me smile. I love to make art! And I love to receive something handmade from you. I love to make art dolls and altered books, which include tip-ins and chunky pages.

Sometimes for fun and more creativity I make a few ATCs, decos, altered tins... I love to try new art projects... And I knit when I want to relax. Sometimes I sew, quilt and crochet, too.

Favorite Books

I love to read! I like cozy mysteries, darker mysteries, non-fiction, and sometimes even a young adult book or two.

What I like to Receive

I love to receive handmade items! Some of the things I just love that I've received from swaps here on swap-bot so far include... a beautiful quiltie, dotee dolls, a handmade quilt, knitted prayer shawl, knitted washcloth with handmade soap, knitted dish rags, painted spoon ornament, tip-ins, altered book, sewn pin cushion, mini-fairy doll, a wonderful painting of Happiness... so many wonderful swappers here! Even a handmade deco page or ATC would be appreciated. I find so much inspiration in seeing what someone else has made.

Did I mention that my favorite color is GREEN...

What I don't want: please no strong smells, like perfume, bath stuff or incense. I'm vegan, so nothing about farm animals or meat.

I like how you made a system to make it easier for yourself. Yes, I wonder too if I will keep up correspondence with some of the people I've met during this month. Comment: Thanks for sharing your favorite movie and why, and especially your book recommendations. I will look for A.R. Winters. Funny that your son wants to know, but doesn't find it funny. I find that having adult children is a surprise joy - I didn't think I would enjoy them as much as I do - I guess it shouldn't be surprising, they come by their quirkiness honestly, lol. I don't read as much as I would like, anymore. I really do need to get back to it. Yes, I had the same partners over and over, and I did get a tiny bit annoyed about it, but now reading the several letters from the same person has been really enjoyable for me. Happy day to you!

It has been since before covid, but that really did ramp it up. I have some online groups, too that meet weekly, and they are really are a great support. I'm going to have to try it myself :-) I also like to travel - I'd love to go to the Greek Isles - it's on my top places to travel list :-) We've been getting to AZ fairly frequently lately for a variety of reasons. There is such diversity of landscape and beauty there. I have heard of geocaching, but have not tried it. Wishing you many more travel adventure experiences! Yes, I enjoyed the letter writing series, and especially getting to know the other people participating. I have lots of return letters to send :-)

Comment: What a wonderful story behind the vegan cookie recipe. My husband is Gluten Free and so I get it when you would go somewhere and just could not eat anything (I always took something along for him, but sometimes hard to do in some circumstances). Encouraging you to take each day slowly and things do turn around, just need patience sometimes. Every second in our life could be a change. Sending you cyber hugs from Pennsylvania.
