So, now as 2008 begins I am playing catch up with ratings. Please know that I got both of your recipes and they are going to be a great addition to my A-Z Recipe Collection. Both sound delicious and ones I want to try sometime. I have really enjoyed this swap because of all the neat recipes and the all the nice swappers I have met while participating. You obviously care about quality and craftmanship. The lining is to die-for special; the print fabric is an "orgy" of oranges,limes and lemons. They make my mouth water, that is how real they look! The orange polka dot fabrics, the tea towels, the rick rack. I can't believe how classy and put together this bag looks...it is high end boutique quality! When I opened up my totebab I was greeted with the most luscious smells. Thanks for the extras; soaps, awesome tea assortment; blooming flowers!, chocolate gelato lip gloss, and a big wonderful craft/recipe book too! Your thoughtfullness,time, effort and skill will not be forgotten. You are a first class swapper from start to finish. I can't thank you enough!

Comment: Hello Debbi, First and foremost--Hello again! I feel like I am getting to know you as well as others pretty well since this swap is a small intimate group. I was happy to see the bright colors you used for your recipe bases, not that I don't like more muted color. However, it is nice to see variations. With your Crock Pot recipe I just love the following embellishments: sewing to attach the recipe to the larger recipe base, the use of a another chicken recipe as another layer, an actual picture of a chicken, and a little touch of ribbon. Your second recipe sounds YUMMY. I like the use of various ribbons for embellishments, some being almost the same shade of orange--but having something else on it to help it stand out, the pink with brown(mud)dots and pink w/white dots, and then last but not least brown w/white dots to hold the name. I realized when I picked up the recipe and touched all those pieces I thought were ribbon were all stickers. The only paper was behind the recipe and the base of the recipe card. This recipe card was unique--especially because of the choice of colors used which I really loved. I will proudly add this recipe card to my recipe collection and it will be in a prominent place in my recipe book when I assemble it. We will be meeting again I know at this swap. I do hope we get to meet at some other swaps as well. Until we are paired up again--many joyful and positive swapping experiences. Barb sleepingtraveler
