Response: glad you enjoyed them! I had fun!
Response: You are very welcome! She's been asking to do more, so now I cut an ATC from the book page, scrawl a flower on it for her to color over, and give the rest to her sister to scribble on. The one-year-old gets bored quickly, of course, but she's more interesting than her sister was at this age. Anyway, thank you!
Response: Thanks! I've enjoyed the swaps you've posted so far, though I'm swapping pretty slowly these days.
Response: you are very welcome!
Response: Yay!! I was so pleased when it worked out right, so i'm thrilled you liked it
Response: So glad you enjoyed it! I'm not always one for vintage, but she has some gorgeous stuff
Response: Yeah, it was less getting it to stick and more picking everything up and putting it back down in the same place once the glue was added. It always seems a worrying prospect :)Thanks for the heart!
Response: Yeah, I kinda liked covering the images so we just got bits of texture and color. It was really fun to make, so I'm glad you're enjoying them. I had to think a minute to remember what you meant by annual report - I've been tearing that thing up for so long I never remember what it is! :) That page my daughter did with bubble wrap - I attached a piece of bubble wrap to the bottom of a mint tin so she can use it as a stamp, and she just goes to town. Thank you!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Response: Thank you! If you're interested in jazzy/bluesy music, you should check out Over the Rhine's site - I really like the Trumpet Child album that I got that image from

Response: You're welcome! I hope you enjoy them!
Response: Glad you liked them! I love interesting natural shapes too :)
Response: Glad you liked them! There's any number of tutorials for packing-tape transfers out there, but it's pretty easy. Stick packing tape over the quote, cut it out, soak it in water for a few minutes, rub the paper off the back, and glue to your journal! I'm kind of addicted to them.
Response: So glad you liked it! Enjoy!
Response: Glad you liked it!
Response: glad you liked them so much!! thanks!! don't worry about the delayed rating, we all lose track sometimes :)
Response: so glad you liked it! I'm pretty sure you're right about that! :D
Response: glad you liked them! thanks!
Response: thanks! I know she said she liked to pull a print off the first one, but I found leaving the thick paint of the first pull undisturbed was what makes that awesome texture. Or maybe it depends on the paint? I'm just using cheap craft paint. Anyway, it's super fun!

Did I not include a few sleeves? I meant to, but maybe they fell out of the stack. Slippery little things. Sorry about that. They're cheap though - they're made for baseball cards, so collectibles stores have them, or you can just buy them off amazon, which is what I did.
Mod Podge is a glue that's also used as a sealer and varnish. It's pretty cheap - any craft store in your area will carry it. You can make a cheap-o version of it by diluting elmer's glue with water, but that tends to peel or get yellow over time so that's not recommended. It comes in a few different varieties - just get the basic gloss or matte to start off with.
Response: really? that's awesome!
Response: you're welcome!
Response: Thanks! I guess I wasn't clear. A Silhouette is a machine that hooks to my computer and cuts instead of printing - it's a cool way to incorporate digital images into paper art. If you scroll up to the Favorite Crafts section of my profile, I explain how I use them for stenciling
Response: I have heard amazing things about Phineas and Ferb - my daughter is only two, but I plan to look it up in a few years when she's old enough
Response: Yay!! I'm so glad it got there in reasonable time. (My sister did a semester in Barcelona last year and said the mail service was not very good.) And I'm glad you liked them, of course.
Response: thanks! I had so much fun making these.
Response: thanks!! I'm glad you enjoyed it - I had a lot of fun writing it.
