Comment: I enjoy historical fiction, I never really considered historical mysteries. I guess they'd be thrown in there too! Have you read A Discovery of Witches (and the other two books in the series)? My best friend bought the set for me, she absolutely loved them, but I thought they were a bit predictable and a bit too romantic for my tastes. You might like puzzling them out if you haven't already read them.

I was able to go through a floating market when I was in Vietnam, so I know how surreal the experience can be.
