Comment: Wow what a cool card! My husband and I love to travel to see historical places. This one has to be an awesome one to visit and since I live in AZ I'm sure that seeing the USS ARIZONA would have the same effect on me as it has you. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Hi Jan! Thanks SO much for this fantastic postcard and your gorgeous note-- I loved reading about your conversations with your cats and dogs (I actually list "cat" as a second language on Postcrossing, so it's nice to meet a kindred spirit). I hope that we're paired up in more swaps in the future, as it seems as if we have quite a bit in common. :) xo
Response: Yes, we are kindred spirits! ♥ Wish we lived closer.... Thanks so much for the nice rating. ♥
Loved the beautiful bookmark you made. You're so talented and creative. Thank you so much. I also appreciated and loved the additional goodies you added to the package. Thank you.
Response: Thanks, Jennifer. ♥ Really glad you liked it. I love whimsical, shabby chic and thought you might, also. Thank you for the nice rating and ♥.
Comment: I simply ADORED this little book!! The story was awesome, and I read it to my son and husband, and they thought it was great! So creative and cute, and yes, I read it to the kitties, too, LOL! Wonderful swap, and a fantastic introduction to making/collecting zines. Thank you so much for this swap!
Response: So glad you liked your little story! It could have been much longer, but only so much space on the zine. Yes, this was a wonderful swap and I am glad you were my partner. Thank you for the nice rating! ♥

Response: I'm so happy you like everything! Thank you for your kind words and the heart! ♥ Maybe we can do a private swap sometime. :) It is such fun to get surprises in the mail.
Comment: Thank you, Janis, for the lovely mail I received Friday. Besides the 2 pcs that you're forwarding for the swap, I LOVED the little letter and the crocheted coaster you enclosed. Crocheted THREAD coasters are my favorite coasters. And I loved the neutral color. Thank you so much for making a simple swap SPECIAL! :) ... Karla, 9/23/13
Response: Thank you, Karla! I feel the exact same way about crochet. ♥ There is just something about the feel of the thread as it glides throuh your fingers while holding a crochet hook. Thanks so much for the heart. ♥
Comment: Thanks so much for your postcard! My hubby and I went to Hawaii on our Honeymoon! It is paradise! I so miss it! Your quote was funny too! Did you go to Maui?!
Response: So glad you like the postcard that brought back good memories of Hawaii. It really is paradise! We went to Oahu. The North Shore was my favorite...so, so beautiful! Thanks very much for the heart. ♥
Comment: Oh my goodness, Janis, your ATC is absolutely AMAZING!!! I feel so inspired and challenged to raise the level of my own ATCs after seeing your work! Thank you so much for the beautiful ATC and extra goodies!
Response: Thank you...I'm so glad you like it. I'm fairly new at ATCs, so I really appreciate your comment. ♥
Comment: Where in the world is Carmen Miranda? She's on my stamp! Thank you so much - it's so rare to get stamps with women on and I really do love them :)
I'm also so grateful to hear that teachers have made a positive impact on you in the past. It makes the job even more worthwhile to know we are doing good.
Response: I thought you would like that stamp! The post office always wants to put those awful electronic labels on everything. Interesting stamps are so much better... Keep up the good work. You're shaping our future.
Comment: thanks so much for this gorgeous card, I havv been doing ATCs for about 6 years now and have collected quite a few Elvis ATCs and I keep them in a separate binder so they don't get lost. That is my favorite book to look at all the time.
Response: I'm so glad you like it! There will never be another like Elvis...he will always be my favorite, too. ♥ Thank you for the nice comment.
Comment: I'm so sorry about being late. I put your ATC in my sewing bag and your card lost in that black hole. Everything about your card if awesome. Thank you so much for the meedle threader, they are hard to find. My in-laws live in Lawton-F Sill. Thank you Sharon
Response: Thank you, Sharon. I almost forgot about it... So glad you liked the ATC. I'm kind of new to making them. Very sweet of you to post. Lawton-Ft Sill is way down southwest from where I live in Tulsa. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Just close the box and address to me
;-). Your photo was adorable and caption and the delivery confirmation receipt was way to cute. Very nice job....Wish I could give you more than a heart for this swap. Good luck on the diet.
Comment: Hello Janis, I love the moon atc, very clever! That one will be on show for sometime. Thanks also for the extras and the lovely card. I am not very good at sewing, although I used to do a lot of cross stitch and have several pictures which need framing, best wishes Cheryl
Response: Cheryl, so glad you liked the moon ATC. It was my first attempt at an ATC and I think I'm hooked and want to do more. The possibilities are endless!

Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful handmade card, I make cards, too. What type of markers did you use to color in the images? I've got Marvy's, Tombo's, Copics, Bic's and a few from Stampin Up. The card is just beautiful and thank you also for the very nice bookmark!!! I'm trying to figure out if you made the bookmark or purchased it. It has the edges inked, but not sure how you would have made that image on it! Would love to know. Thanks again for everything, awesome!!!
Response: Thank you so much for the nice comments. I sent you a private message.
Comment: Hello Janis- Thank you so much for the card from Oklahoma. This is a wonderful card, and the first one I have received showing the Oklahoma City bombing monument. It is a beautiful memorial, but it is sad that we need such things. Best wishes. Debbie Christian
