Comment: I was cleaning up my and found a bag of mail that had fallen and in it was your swap. So sorry for the delay in rating.
Thanks for the stocking stuffer. I put it into my pile to open in December
Comment: While I don’t live in the “wild” west, I grew up that girl on the horse in your postcard. I was the oldest, with a father who was a natural with horses. We raised, bred, trained, raced and worked horses my whole life. Still do on a small scale. I’ve driven stagecoaches, wedding carriages and chuck wagons. I was born at a riding stable. I’ve barrel raced the rodeo and against every rule my Daddy had, won a bull riding in high school. If I hadn’t been so proud of the buckle I would have gotten away with it! We do enjoy the AC here. It was 103 with a heat index of 110 here yesterday. We haven’t been in the 80s (save at night) for months now.
Response: That is interesting. My Mom's childhood was similar. She was around horses & the track pretty often. Glad the postcard I picked resonated with you.
Comment: Happy Birthday!!!!!!! Thank you for the nicely wrapped present for my stocking. In it went until Christmas. The frog postcard you sent is just too darn cute. I just love frogs :-) Thank-you for a nice swap. May this new year bring much happiness and surprises.
Response: Thank you for the birthday wishes!!! And you’re welcome. Merry future x-mas!
Comment: Loooooove the Vixen post card. You have great answers and I can tell you are funny and witty like me!
Response: Thanks for the kind words and rating!! I’m glad my personality comes through my writing. I thought of so many more “v” words that someone likes to keep hidden after the fact. That’s how that always goes.
Comment: Placed my present into my 3 foot stocking! Thank you. Updated 12-3. I opened your present this morning for an advent present. Thank you so much for the dual list pads. Placed them on my refrigerator
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I enjoyed your answers. "Time wasted in a thrift shop." Haha Not!! We have an estate sale warehouse here that takes me 3 hours just to walk through. I start at the vintage postcard area!!🎫
Response: Ha! Well... it isn't "wasted" time to me either. I really enjoy going to those things. But, for argument sake, it does make time go by fast for sure. I am glad you liked my answers and the card got there safely to you. Your estate sale warehouse sounds neat too and I am jealous.
Comment: Thank you! Taking a horse drawn sleigh ride is on my life list, maybe next winter I can go for a ride! One of our unique family traditions is having pizza on Christmas Eve. I do love listening to Elvis Christmas music too!
Response: That is really neat! You should make that a priority to mark the sleigh ride off your bucket list. I have never gone either but it does seem fun. Thanks for the rating!!
Comment: Whoa, I just found a new place I need to visit! What a BEAUTIFUL PC! So since this is probably the only way I'll see the world, thank you so much!! Haha, I also said nap. Totally! Anyway, thanks and I'm sorry for the late rating. I've not been well and am catching up tonight.
Response: You are so welcome. I am not a stickler with the ratings. I didn’t even notice a delay. Thanks for rating and I’m so glad you liked the one I shared with you.
Comment: I love the postcard. Also, what is your career that you wish you had started sooner?
Response: Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I was speaking in a general sense. If I didn’t goof off in school I might have learned sooner in life what I liked and disliked in work. Maybe that’s not realistic. But the one thing I’d like to be now is work with the FBI. I guess I can’t say I knew this 5 or 10 years ago. Hindsight is 20/20. Thanks for asking too!
Comment: Love the stamps on the envelope! Thank you for march stocking stuffer (I won't be opening until October, a nod to my fave movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas). And I've been needing postcards to start a collection. Thank you! Huggles!
Comment: Thank yo so much for the cards! I really like the Ukrainian eggs! Beautiful! As far as organizing my postcards - sometimes they are organized and then I go pawing through the box and right now they are in a jumble!
Comment: Thanks for the art cards, especially the Winslow Homer. I'm going to an opening tonight at a local art museum, but am REALLY looking forward to next week's trek across the state to see a big exhibit at the Baca Raton Museum of Florida paintings by famous artists -including Winslow Homer.
Comment: Thank you for the vintage linen postcard! I love it. And great postal stamp too. Amazing what words we all come up with for these swaps. Enjoyed reading your answers!! Appreciate you writing down the categories too.
Response: You’re so welcome. It takes some extra time and a lot more space but I like writing the categories too. In the event you read it later, you’ll know what it’s about.
Comment: Thanks for the great hand, Corynn! Eisenhower was POTUS when I was born, and there is an Eisenhower Chapel close to where I live that is used now for weddings and funerals (it's on a former AF base). Also, I love your swap-bot sticker--that's fab!
Response: You’re very welcome. I’m glad I picked out some postcards that resonated with you. Thanks for rating and the thoughtful comment.
Comment: Hello Corynn! I got your Jan. Stocking Stuffer yesterday. Thank you so much for sending. I save mine until Christmas. I love opening little things on Christmas! THANK YOU SO MUCH... for whatever it is!! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! :-)
Comment: I enjoyed the design you chose to make (I chose that same design for my partner too), and yes, it was ok to add your own flair to it. You wrote a nice note and the inside goodies were fun. Happy Valentine's Day to you too!! :)
Comment: WOWWWW, awesome swap, thank you! I am definiltey delightfully pleased. These little pony brown cards are so interesting, and I love the skull card and the polaroid, and all of them actually, thank you! :):):)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely card and for all that you wrote! It was such a wonderful surprise that made my day :) It's so cool that we have the exact same birthday! And I love that you got a Tweety ornament this year! It sounds like we'd get along well - if you're interested in maybe being penfriends or just exchanging the occasional cards/letters/whatever, please let me know :)
Response: Hey! Happy New Year! Thanks for the rating, kind words and the heart. That would be nice to do the occasional exchange. I will get in touch.
Comment: I am a total sprout lover myself. I fell in love just two years ago when I was in England for New Years Eve and they made typical English food for me. So we had a lot of sprouts on two or three days. I had to look up what it meant in German and then started to eat it here in Germany as well. And I still do love that vegetable a lot. :)
Comment: Thanks for the lovely postcard and interesting fact on OHIO. I grew up there and had no idea about Christmas Story.
Response: Oh really? That’s great that I shared a new fact with you. I want to visit the Christmas Story museum/“shrine” (I’m not sure what to call it) one day! It’s on my bucket list. Thanks for the rating and ❤️
Comment: Hi Corynn! I'm sorry, I really don't know why I just received your cat postcard. It is so cute, thank you so much. I love antiques and animals of all kinds. No cats right now, but we have 3 dogs (all rescue) and a cockatiel. Take care & Merry Christmas! Judy
Comment: Thank you! Your envie was decorated great could definitely tell your favorite movie! It’s one I watch every year also! But my favorite is “It’s a Wonderful Life”. So many great CHRISTmas movies! Thank you for the extras! Merry CHRISTmas to you and yours
Comment: Thanks so much for the card! It made my day and my son's because he helped me search for a Christmas card with cats on it. It was hard to find at the places I normally go. We finally found some and it was the exact same card that you sent me. We laughed and was excited. Once again thanks!
Response: Ha! That's so funny. I love when that happens. Cats don't seem to be so popular these days. I'm glad it brought a smile to your faces.
Comment: Thank you for the nice card from Alaska and the facts you included. I guess I didn't realize it was such a short distance from Russia. Wow! That is hard to believe. Have a great holiday season.
Comment: Thank you for the adorable postcard. I'm looking forward to christmas, spending time with family on one side and staying in doing nothing on the other side. You have a very merry christmas aswell!
Comment: Thank you for the washi's! I will open them up on Christmas! You wrapped them up so cute and I love that you put them inside their own stocking! Thank you for making it such a special package!
Response: Thanks! I bought a few of those little stockings after x-mas one year and I am glad I could put them to a good use. They're a nice touch. Thanks for rating this one too and the hearts you gave.
Comment: Thank you so much for the presents! I am trying my hardest to not open then until Christmas! I did open the envelope though, and thank you for the Vangogh sticker and project life cards! I use the cards for journaling and I also use them sometimes to make flip-books with. And you it was also so sweet and generous of you to include a present for my son! You are such a sweet person. Thank you so much again!
Response: You're so welcome. I have been collecting these stocking stuffer swaps since April I think was my first time joining one. It is a great idea for a swap. Now that is is getting closer to Christmas, it is harder to resit opening them. I just stick mine in a cupboard that I don't have to stare at. It helps. Thanks for explaining what you do with your project cards. I haven't made a flip book yet but one day I will take a wack at it. I am glad everything got to you so quickly and you're very welcome again. Thanks for the kind words and rating. Merry Christmas!
Comment: Hi Coryann! Oh how I love the vintage pc that you sent me! I have only been to Canada for a day trip, we had no clue what we were doing and had taken the train, so no transportation to get us around but it was still fun - look it made a nice story! LOL! Wishing you all the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Ooo I haven't heard of those games before, I'll have to look them up and maybe get one before Thanksgiving! My whole family is really into board and card games - that's half of what we do when we get together :) And you're right about Garfield! I'm not sure what happened to him. My aunt had a bug orange tabby named Garfield when I was little and I remember reading his cartoon in the paper every Sunday.
Comment: The Haunting of Hill House is SO GOOD. My husband and I binged it in 2 days. Blew away my expectations and the end of episode 5 was just mindblowing. I keep seeing Oculus on Netflx, and keep reminding myself to check it out. Looks like now is the time!
Response: I agree!! The haunting on hill house is surprisingly good!! You should give Oculus a go. It's an interesting story.
Comment: I’m vegan so I do not eat Macarons. But I order from Red Fox too and have mailed this same card out. She tucks these in extra! I LOVE the book Mary Poppins. Read it over and over as a kid. Excited for the new movie:) Happy Swaps to you
Comment: Absolutely splendid! Your cards are all so beautiful! & I found your reading to feel quite spot on. I can hardly breath, it seems my mind is whirling so fast these days. It’s nice to think of it as an industry to ride until I find myself in a more peaceful place.
Response: I am very glad to hear that. I am also happy when I can deliver or offer a piece of mind or some sound advice that you can hold on to. Just hang in there. Next month is going to be much better.
Comment: I absolutely adore this, I've wanted a CMB post card book on Amazon and I think I'll treat myself after seeing them in person! This is one of my all time favorites I've received, thank you so much!!
Response: I am so glad you like it!! I didn't know it had a name. I picked them up on one of my favorite Etsy shops. RedFox postcards. Here's the link, if you want to check it out.
Comment: Thank you for the Bigfoot postcard. As to whether or not I believe, I don't know. However, I do believe that we don't know everything nature has to offer, so I keep an open mind that he/it might exist.
Comment: Hi Corynn, Thank you so much. The purple postcard really stands out, the vintage postcard too. The Baked Potato Soup will be on the menu today and I'm ready to go to the mountain in Idaho. These postcards are awesome!. Happy Swapping.
Comment: What do I do with all my cards? I save the ones I love and then actually I've been able to sell my used cards on ebay! So at least I'm not throwing them away!
Response: Wow! That's a good re-purposeing idea for your postcards. I like collecting them myself but not others. I like the ones that are addressed to me. I think it's neat for those that collect them like that, but I don't quite understand the appeal. Thanks for sharing.
Comment: Thank you for re-sending. I don't know why I didn't recived the email from you. It is possible that I overlooked it, because I get really many emails, but I looked trough them carrefully and didn't see it. I agree that when the swap is more personal and made "with heart" it's better. Even if someone just put a swap card with a name of the swap you can see if he/she looked trough your profile when putting the swap together.
Response: Thank you for the rating and heart. It is no problem. I am glad you got it this time. Have a good one!
Comment: I loved reading your answers, and we all agree, best swaps are always the ones when your partner takes the time to put an effort into sending it, the worst are always when they don't even read the instructions properly!
Comment: thanks for the postcard and the awesome answers! I often wonder how they make it when they have been torn in the machines at post offices and our zips disappear. lol. its pretty. thanks so much
Comment: Thanks so much for the reading! This one... well, I feel it, I know exactly what issue it's about. Strange how the tarot always seems to ring true, isn't it? Anyway, lovely cards and a great writeup to explain, I'm very thankful. Have a lovely day!
Comment: Thank you for your music list that you listened to in high school. When i saw your list I went oh 90's music , not my thing but then I went over the list and saw that I recognised quite a few of them, in fact I know 12 songs from the list and know more of the singers/groups than songs. Thanks for sharing and the extra's you sent. Happy swapping.
Response: Great!! Hey! It is not for everyone, but I am glad you got it and like what I sent.
Comment: Thank you for the cute and tiny postcard - I have never seen something like this before! I have four cats (two boys, two girls) - all adopted from an animal shelter and bottle raised by us so they are sweet and loving, spoiled and bratty but we love them all. Take care!
Response: Yes. It's true what they say, the cats rule that house. I'm glad you like the PC.
Comment: I already told you in detail what a great job you did, back on Insta. So, I just want to say here that I hope you will come back to play again & that if you have any feedback or suggestions, you can let me know :)
Comment: I got your package yesterday - OMG! IT WAS SO COOL! ♥ Thank you so much for the sweets (the one I've tried already was delicious!), but most of all for the newspaper! I have never seen something like this in Poland and I'll be reading it with pleasure! :) THANK YOU!!!! ♥
Response: YEAH!! I am so happy that you take a liking to what I sent. Enjoy! Thanks for the rating.
Comment: Hi Corynn! Thank you for your thoughtful package! I didn't realise washi tape come in such slim rolls! I've never seen one so thin before so I think I will enjoy playing with it! The designs on the washi samples are also lovely! :)
Response: You're welcome. I am glad to see that they arrived safe and sound. I like the thin rolls to use as dividers on a postcard. To separate the address from the note.
Comment: Oh my God I love your Paris themed ATC it is amazing thank you so much I will literally frame it and hang it on my wall that's how much I love this one and I was wondering if you would mind if I shared it on my Instagram and Facebook and Twitter but I want to ask before I do it thank you
Response: Aww. Thank you so much! That means a lot. I am so glad you like it. Of course, you can share it on social media. Thanks for asking. I didn't think of writing the date or my username on the back, like I have seen some done. I wish I would have done that, but I will be in the future. If you need to make note of that somewhere, by all means.
Comment: I really enjoyed receiving your postcard, it's the first one I'm trading! I also really like cats, I do not have any blue cat yet. Thank you for the envelope stamps, I'll put it in my collection!
Response: Yeah! I'm glad you got it. I got this postcards on Etsy from a deal in Russia. The Etsy shop is RedFox. It was my first one sending too.
