I'm sorry that the first set got lost in the post, if they ever arrive, I will be sure to let you know :) Alice was actually on telli this weekend, so it was a good Easter. Happy Swapping!

Comment: Hello Julie,
I received your 2 "Y" recipes in the mail recently and they both have one of my favorite foods--yogurt. In looking at both recipes, neither look very difficult. So, I will be trying these recipes soon--probably the "Yogurt/Blueberry Popsicles. I hope we have more opportunities to meet one another for future swaps. Until then, Happy Swapping!
P.S. The last letter has arrived---Z
Comment: Wow! 3 Recipes on one BEAUTIFUL PC. Thank you so much. At first, I thought you had handmade the card, than after looking closer I realized it was SB. Regardless, It is BEAUTIFUL. and WOW ! again for 3 Recipes. Extra Hearts.
Response: Your welcome! The pc is a print of my art -I'm glad you like it! :D
Comment: I've never heard of a Vaffler, but I believe I have to try it!! By the way, I love the picture on the front of the PC (did you make that??!?!!! i see your name at the bottom of the card!!!), and the little boston terrier on your address label. too cute!!! :)
Response: Your welcome! I did indeed make the art on the pc! The boston on the label is my painting of my dog, Jewels! :D
Comment: The recipe sounds so yummy! I will surely try it. What a cool postcard!!! Reading the bottom line on the card, I gather you designed it. I've been looking for cards like this to send. Are you selling cards, or can you tell me where I could get some? Thank you for the recipe and card!
Response: Hello! Thank you for the great rating! I hope you enjoy the recipe!! It is indeed my art and I do sell my postcards.
Comment: Hello Julie!
Thank you very much for your great postcard - you're a great artist! And of course thanks for the delicious sounding recipe! it was a nice suprise to receive it already!
Greetings from Germany
Comment: I love your zentangles! The figure drawings and "Gathering" of girls are very nice as well. Thanks for linking to the different strokes blog-- I found so much in your blog to keep me inspired... Thank You!
Comment: Hi, Julie!
thanks for the great postcard...and the quote from Henry David Thoreau...believe it or not, I went to Thoreau Middle School, "back in the day", and our yearbook was called "The Walden"...
I think you have ESP...hahaha..thanks again...
Comment: I love your postcard! It's from Vista Print. Is it original artwork? I also like the 2 quotes you wrote. Thoreau's "It's now or never" quote sounds like something that might have been written recently.
Response: Hi! Thank you very much! I'm so glad you liked it. The pc is indeed an original artwork done by moi! :)
Comment: Hello Julie,
Sorry I have been so slow in rating you, but my health has been very poor since before Christmas and has continued to be an struggle in 2009. So, I am having to take it slow and easy in everything I do. With that said, I want to thank you for the recipe for Hidden Treasures you created for this swap. They sound very TASTY and sound like they would be great for some festive event. I will be proudly adding your recipe to my ever-growing and ever-changing recipe collection and more specifically to my Alphabet Recipe Collection. Thank you for your extreme patience with me and I hope your 2009 is blessed with all the best for you and yours. Look forward to meeting up with you again in 2009.

Comment: Thank you for the Dr. Seuss quote and the lovely dog PC. I am going to write that quote in my favorite quote book that I keep by my desk. Dr. Seuss was a true visionary. The little dog reminds me of one in our neighborhood when I was a kid who loved to play with a soccer ball, his name was Duffy. Thanks for jogging that memory!
Comment: Julie! So nice to swap with you again!! Thanks so much for the All Hallows Eve ATCs!! I love the artwork you did on all of them, they are fang-tastic!!! Thanks so much also for the extra one!! I wish you a very haunted All Hallows Eve!!
Comment: Thanks for the great recipe! Definitely one I will be trying. I wonder if I put phyllo dough in the baking cups first if that would be good? As soon as it cools off here I'll be baking again! oxo
Comment: Thanks the postcard, Julie! Do you have a Boston Terrier, because I loved your sticker return sticker! I gave you a heart just for that! :)
Thanks and take care!
Response: Hi! I do have a bt! Her name is Jewels and she is 8 yrs old (she is the one painted on my label.) I don't livejournal though. Sorry! Thanks for the rating - I hope to send to you again (I have some great boston postcards I have been waiting to send someone :)
Comment: Mmm this sounds good. My hubby doesn't like cabbage, so I will be making this for my scrapbook girls.. They are going to love it... Thank you for the great recipe...Barb Love the funky postcard
Comment: Thanks for the post card...I always like to hear from you. And slushie is nice on a hot day! I go to Jamba Juice for a "breakfast" slushie on Sunday mornings! YUMMY!
I'm slowly getting back to my old life, but it's been harder than I hoped. These little swaps seem to be helping.
Stay in touch!
Comment: Loved the quote! I actually have this confrontational sarcasm pc hanging in my office! It's so fitting! Sorry it took so long for me to post as received. I put this on my bulletin board w/out posting about it! I love it, thank you very much!
Comment: OMG!! Julie, what a fang-tastic job you did on all of these ATCs!! You are a VERY talented artist, look at how amazing you draw!!! Sallys likeness is uncanny and Stain Boy has got to be my favorite!!! I am happy to have these in my collection!!! Thanks so much for everything, even the card is adorable!! 100+ hearts for you!
Comment: I feel so lucky! I received a fabulous original postcard - thankyou so much - it will be treasured. The quote also made me laugh as I have always pictured myself as an old lady surrounded by cats - is that what dementia is really all about? I wonder! Thanks again.
Comment: I love the quotes you used on your card. Somehow the post office managed to rip the corner of poor Jewels ear and tried to patch it with an ugly piece of brown tape! But it's ok, she's still awful cute!
Comment: I am extremely impressed by your photography! Jewels is such a cute Boston Terrier. Both of you need to start getting up before 10am! HaHa Half of the day is gone by then! From an early riser ONLY BECAUSE I'M FORCED TO BE! :) These little ramblers (kids) I have are squealing for breakfast at 6am! The agony! :) Thanks for the postcard.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful list - it truly made me realize that I was grateful for 100 more things than I put on my own list. I hope we can both see, feel, smell, hear and taste all that was on your list, often and with appreciation.
Comment: Thank you for the magnets and the extra ones as well. My favorites are the bingo/Monopoly car and the stamp with the crown. I just made some last week with Monopoly parts, too. Great minds think alike? :)
Response: Thank you so much! I've never made bottlecap magnets before. The monopoly 1 is part of the originals (only 2 dried out of 5). the other 3 are on my fridge.
Comment: Great cards. I like them all. What kind of pen did you use. Thanks so much for the extra!
Response: For the fine lines I use 'Micron08' by Sakora (I think - the lines have faded off of the pen), size 0.50mm and for the large lines I use 'Staedtler Lumocolor F'.
I'm glad you like them! Thanks.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely ATCs - I think we all got carried away making them! :) My favourite is the one which looks like an underwater coral reef (to me, anwyay!) with the big cloud and the bubbles on the outside to the edge of the card.
Response: Thank you! That has always been one of my favs also. it was first one made for this swap! :)
Comment: YAY! They made their way home finally!!! These are adorable button fairy ornaments! Spooky indeed! I especially LOVE your handmade card, it is adorable, the skully on the Xmas tree rocks! Thanks so much for such a spook-tacular package! I noticed you posted photos of these already so I won't :) Thanks! <3
Response: Oh, I'm so glad!! Hope you had a very Merry "Hex"-mas and have a great New Year!!!
Comment: I love how you call it the "recent shipment", because knowing me, there will be more (even though I swear I am done!) BTW--I LOVE how you had a "bridal bouquet dog"!!! PS-I'm telling you--Marty Feldman must be part Boston! :)
Response: My toss away bouquet was a boston terrier stuffie dressed the same as Jewels! Thanks!
Comment: Love the postcard!! Dr. Suess is great!! The Grinch's Christmas quote is my favorite~
.....What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
Comment: Thank you! Gotta love Dr. Suess, he sure knows his thing!! Pure coincidence -- I just saw this design of yours on your site last week. I remember looking them over and thought that was pretty neat the way you put them on telephone book pages.
Comment: UPDATE 11/15/07 I added a heart since Julie re-sent the ATCs (since the first ones didn't make it through the mail system) and as a bonus sent some stickers - THANKS!; 10/22/07 I am rating a 5 although it was damaged in the mail and all that arrived (in a USPS "We Care" envelope) was the front part of the envelope with my address and her return address. She obviously sent the swap.
Comment: What wonderful ATCs (and stickers!) The Rocky Horror is my absolute favorite. My daughter and I watched the movie so many times. She went every Friday night and I often joined the group. Later, I had the chance to schedule a live performance at the Fine Arts Center where I was Executive Director. It was so great! I also am fascinated with the Tree of Life. Great Stuff!!
Comment: Thanks for the nice collection of goodies along with the list! I've read some of the ones on your list - especially the Harry Potter series - I too have read (or listened to it) several times. So much better than the movies. Thanks so much for sharing!
Comment: The ATCs are very creative. I love them all. Thanks so much. Also love the extra sticker. BTW - Your envelope was open on both sides, with top and bottom still intact. It wasn't even taped - but I received the three ATCs and one sticker with your note. Thanks again.
Comment: This was awesome..I thought it was cute that you look at the things you buy that get kept away for so long and just thing they were useless after so long.,.Ha, I do the same..thanks for the cute stuff:)
Response: Thanks! It drives my husband crazy that I have all of this stuff and I don't ever touch it!! Especially all the art supplies :)
Comment: Hello Julie,
Thank you for the postcard you sent me as part of the "Extreme Postcard Junkie" Swap that I received this past week or so. I really enjoyed the unique piece of art featured on the front and I also enjoyed the "Did you know?" that you shared on the back. I will proudly add your postcard to my ever-growing postcard collection, which I have just started building since joining Swap-bot. Why? I have just received so many unique postcards that I had to do something special with them. I do hope we "cross paths" in the near future. Until that time comes--continued great swapping! Until we meet again!
Comment: Thanks for the great letter, it is fun to see that we all have different likes and dislikes. I love movies, I just need to find the time to enjoy! Have a great Halloween- I am sure there are plenty of your favorite genre to see at this time. Take care, Jennifer
