Comment: Thank you for the wonderful Postcard and great stamps! The lyrics make me think of how we can always reach outside of ourselves for answers. But they're often already in us. Happy Swapping Always---Ramya

Comment: I really enjoyed your postcard and appreciate all the old stamps you placed on it. Unfortunately 3 of the old ones were ripped in the mailing process. I was so sad to see that. Thank you for hosting this swap. 😊

Comment: Thank you for the colorful vintage Waterloo card (hope to visit one day :), spiffy stickers (especially the wreath!), lovely vintage stamps (especially the Laubach one from the Notable Americans series -- I love the history behind each figure), and Buddha quote that is new to me. Hope you are also having a good week!
Comment: Omg. I thought I rated you but I was going through swaps to archive & I saw that I didn't!! I'm so sorry! This was such a fun swap, I'm down to be inebriated pen pals :) I'll catch you the next time I'm opening a bottle or pulling out a pipe, lol!
Comment: Hello kat,
Thank you for the neat postcard of Pompeii. The quote of Archimedes is one that I use often in conversation when appropriate. Thank you for reminding me about it again.
Comment: Thanks for the terrific Green Stuff! hahahaha! From the green envelope to the sweet little garden envelope encasing the ATC, this was a charming happy mail. I really like the work on the ATC, too. I have never done art journaling or scrapbooking, so this is a wonderful pleasant little piece. thanks for hosting, and thanks for the delightful happy mail! P.S cool stamps!
Comment: hi Kat,
we share a love for cheap finds & old paper ... too bad you don't live near any postcard clubs that have shows with hundreds of boxes of vintage cards to peruse > perhaps vacation to one of them someday!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely pc. It made me lol for real reading! We love magic erasers they are great for getting crayon off things lol never tried on skin haha thanks for the tip of what not to try!
Comment: Thanks so much for a really super fun swap! I absolutely love what you made for me! The picture will go up on my wall in my new office :) I definitely would be interested in doing this again if you host in the future.
Comment: Sorry for my os so very late rating ! I checked your board before and thought I rated you, but I didnt :-( SORRY !
I love your board, it has so many different pins. Wonderful ! Thanks for sharing !
Comment: yum i love all types of candy and the candies you showed me were amazing. not surprised that you don't like chocolate i know a lot of people who don't however , im not one of those people but anything sweet is great
Comment: Thank you so much for all the wonderful little goodies! Everything will come into good use.I'll have to hide the My Little Pony stickers or I will loose them to my niece this weekend. LOL!
Comment: Wow, I had no idea toys stopped coming out of cereal boxes after 1999. I'm only 18 years late on the deal. I forgot about Snapple! I used to drink them all the time:) Thanks for sharing such a lovely board. x
Comment: thank you I love everything. I really love the feather rubber print on the front of the envelope. I cant wait to use these things in my next craft... Or maybe the one im working on now.... thanks again
Comment: Thanks for the postcard with cool stamps and stickers 😋 Hopefully you'll grab a Switch soon and they'll come out with some good games. I personally have zero interest in Zelda so I'll wait and see until Christmas time to see if I'm actually interested in purchasing one.
Comment: Thank you for the calming, bucolic view of Pook's Hill, the vintage Frankenstein postage, and for sharing a favorite late-night activity of yours that I also like to do occasionally; I consider myself a night owl who also loves mornings :)
Comment: Thank you for this sweet swap. I love the stuff, especially the Sandra Boynton stickers (she lives in the town next to me so people share her stuff on FB all the time.) Really sweet bunch of stuff, thank you.
Comment: You work on the same days as my husband - he works a shift every Friday to Saturday night as a medic. I don't blame you for wanting to open your own business - Fri/Sat/Sun hours are rough. Thanks for the card!
Comment: Hi Kat. I like the postcard that you made for me. I love the tangled bird. Is it a stampor did you draw it? Unfortunately, it got mangled in the mail but I will tape it where they tore it and it will be good as new!
Comment: Dear Kat,
Thank you very much for the SIX stamp randomness. Did you crochet the doily yourself? Best marks for sheer randomness go to the gold Easter Island faces. The butterflies will come in very useful for a penfriendship I have in which we pretend to be insects.
Comment: OK, this has to be the most bizarre postcard front I have ever seen. And the sad thing is, I think it was a real movie. :) I love the bizarre. :)
I'm so glad that 2016 had so many good things happen for you, and my wish for you is that 2017 will be 10x better than 2016 could ever be. Happy New Year!
Comment: Great parade scene! I've definitely gotten things in the mail way worse than this. It's amazing to see pristine cards that were mailed decades ago by hand compared to the mangle of the machines today.
Comment: Omg! Yes! This just arrived (postmarked a month ago!) along with several other missing things. 😡. I absolutely love it! Aileen is definitely one of my faves and she never even accrued to me for a serial killer swap before! Not to mention Gacy and Tool and the PCs! I just died! Thanks!
Response: Wow that took a long time but I'm so glad you got them!
Comment: Thank you for your spiffily-decorated envelope -- where did you get the super-cool vintage stamp/Air Mail rubber stamp on the back of the envelope? -- postcards, washi samples, and Sally Draper/Jan Brady-esque cheery daisy note, Kat :)
Comment: Hi Kat! I am with you - love collecting pcs, although I have a soft spot for the vintage pcs and just recently bought some vintage postage stamps - who knew there were so many awesome old stamps out there?? LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for your answers. It was a real eye-opener. My choices are almost diametrically opposite to yours, & if it was a few years back, or if it was not in this Body-acceptance themed exchange, I would have thought you are pulling my leg!
Comment: I love leaves too. I love the autumn ones the best but I do love the green ones too. I especially love the purple maple (I don't think I have any on my board - strange). Thanks so much for sharing!
Comment: 💙💚💜 three freakin hearts, for sure!!!! Oh my gosh, Kat. This is the best swap I have EVER received. It was like Christmas. Thank you so much for everything. I cannot express in words how wonderful this combined package was to open. You are an amazing swapper! 💀ðŸ‘thank you for hosting and making this so much fun!!! 😊😆 did I mention how awesome the vintage postage was? Very cool!
Comment: 💙💚💜 three freakin hearts, for sure!!!! Oh my gosh, Kat. This is the best swap I have EVER received. It was like Christmas. I absolutely love the cemetery photos. Everything you sent was so cool. Thank you so much for everything. I cannot express in words how wonderful this combined package was to open. You are an amazing swapper! 💀ðŸ‘
Comment: This is great-love all the stuff you sent-what fun-have more stuff to put in my journals now-I've been going nuts lately over coffee-tea staining paper and making junk journals! Thanks for the contribution! Great stamps on the envelope too-thanks!
Comment: Oh my gosh! - I Love the way you deco'd the envelope - Rubber stamps, stickers, and, the most fascinating old stamps - Gee, I've never seen those - They are interesting to see. Super thank you for the amazing assortment of teas - Can't wait to try them! - Thanks for a great swap Hope you host this again. Happy day to you.
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous Labille-Guiard portrait (it's going on my moodboard :) and it reminds me of one of my favorite galleries at the Met Museum!), beautiful vintage stamps, kawaii bunny and verdant "hope" stickers, and message, Kat! Rainy, cool, overcast days are also my favorite :) Hope you are having a good week! <3
Comment: I had exactly the same problem with pinterest! Freezing everytime I tried to pin something. Anyway, I love your board - so many great ideas! Hopefully, I'll actually do some of them! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Cute PC, Kat!! Thanks!!
Happy Birthday to your hubby! Glad you 2 had a good time! I've never been to a hookah bar but we have a beautiful hookah from Morocco my inlaws got when they visited! Hugs and have a great week!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I think I have heard these words except for "sciamachy"- that's definitely a new one!! I think it would describe something my cat does though lol he would definitely attack a shadow or an imaginary thing.
Comment: Thank you for the card and note. My weekends are 7 days. Thats what is nice about retirement. I only have 2 days a month when I have to do business things and those are the days my pension and Social Security checks hit the bank.
Comment: I just loved looking thru your board! It had so much to offer! I re-pinned a few to my different boards. I love autumn. It is my favorite time of year. (My birthday is in it too lol) Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Dear Kat, Thank you very much for the lovely mail you send me! I really like the postcards you picked for me, the stickers are so cute and the teas seem delicious! I'm going to send your postcard back, and I hope you don't mind if I'm not sending it naked (so I can add some things you like as well) :) Best Wishes!
Comment: Hi Kate thanks for sharing your board I am allergic to Lavenders BUT I love the color, and all the recipes. I wish I can handle lavenders but I just cant. Something so pretty and half of the ppl I know are allergic to them LOL Isnt that ironic?
Comment: Thank you for the cute leaf shaped card. Just a note to keep in mind--when mailing cards shaped like this please check your post office about the correct postage; I had to pay another 34 cents. No problem but someone else might not like that.
Got your response--must just be our crazy post office here in Goshen!
Response: How odd, I've sent about 20 of those and so far none have had postage due.
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing. I do truly love these Pinterest swaps. It's like getting a little glimpse into some else head for a change. I love the names of your kitties. I'm always jazzed by creative pet names. Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you SO MUCH for the AMAZING mail art envie full of awesomeness! I agree, it's always great when you find a like-minded swapper. Anytime you want to do a private swap, let me know, I'm game. Many (((hugs))) to you! â¤
Comment: Thanks for sharing your board! I simply LOVE that you get to work with pizza...I love it, myself. And I don't mind at all that you added vegan pizza options - we had quite a few of the same pins. :)
Comment: Belated thank you for the stunning view of part of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, Kat! I remember trying to admire it in person as much as possible when I was in Rome two springs ago, but there was so much jostling, talking, and the repeated, insistent warning that photography was prohibited, so it was challenging. I was a bit miffed that my aunt was able to sneak a selfie! Hope you are having a good weekend :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing! i used to love horror, but then it started to have an effect on me in real life! so i stopped watching them for good! and only very occasionally!! now i prefer documentaries too hahah xxx
Comment: Thanks Kat!
I hope your little one gets some relief soon from teething! My 2 didnt have teething problems.. both of them had their first 2 bottom teeth at 3 months old! Crazy!! LOL

Comment: I'm extremely sorry for the late rating. I found a bunch of postcards that fell down behind the couch. I've been going crazy looking for them again I'm extremely sorry for the late rating Thank you for the Wonderful postcard.
Comment: Thank you for sharing your wonderful Space board on Pinterest! I noticed yours was filled with more informative rather than aesthetic...I actually found myself *gulp* LEARNING! ha ha. (and a <3 for SO many more pins)
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful PC California is a dream of mine .My husband was born and raised in Corna He has no family there anymore Our son lives in San Diego . I also love the quote .about art .. I could be an artist but I have no knowledge Maybe one day... My nephew is a very gifted student ( fine arts department of Polytechnic Universityy of Athens Thanks again
Comment: Thanks so much for all the delicious teas!! I can't wait to try them. Unfortunately the glue dots did rip about half of the packages. Next time, try a bit of washi tape to keep them in place... Works great for me!!
Response: Ah, I do not collect the packaging. I've had issues with the bags sliding around in transit so I need to secure them, and I really dislike washi tape.
Comment: I enjoyed looking thru your board. It has some beautiful stuff in it! I hope you don't mind that I re-pinned a couple. You have such a beautiful board. I love rainbow stuff (not to wear but to look at lol).
Comment: Thank You soo much for my envelope..It sure was stuffed FULL..I love it all as does my girls..The fabric, teas and jewlery..The whistle will come in handy..I wish I could give you more hearts. Thank you again.
Comment: You are the best, Kat! Thank you for your thoughtful note and carefully curated envelope of postcards -- I love them all, the quiet Venetian alleyway, autumnal leaf, stroll through Manhattan, Minotaur, vintage restaurant, paintings featuring St. Francis and Esther and Ahasuerus, and the iconic Joe Rosenthal shot -- and the adorable, hilarious Holly Golightly/Audrey Hepburn tabby notecard :) Thank you for helping make my day <3 Have a good weekend!
Comment: i , too, love loose leaf tea--- thank you for the great flavors---cant wait to try 'this lady is a vamp' and jasmine green. I have tried the pu-erh tea as it says it is good for losing weight---so im happy to have some more. my son gets married in key west next year and i want to lose 20 pounds:) thanks for the great teas :)
Comment: THANK YOU. I need to remember to add these kinds of cards to my profile!! I loved them both !! (1 from other swap). The little puppy and baby in the bath reminds me of when mine was young and the power went out in the middle of hurricane season on the east coast. We bathed her by candle light!!
Comment: The Alice in Wonderland notepaper you wrote on is so cute! Thanks so much for sending me a Fabulous array of postcards - and - for going out of your way to find wordless fronts. You're the best - Love your profile - Such a cute li'l baby! Happy day to you - Thanks again for a Most Wonderful swap.
Comment: Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed reading your lists. I always look forward to these kinds of swaps as it is very cool to get a glimpse into someone else's mind or life. I really appreciated how much time and effort you so obviously put into your lists. Swap with me anytime. Thanks again.
Comment: Hi Kat! Thank you so much for your comment :) living in big cities and moving around frequently has both pros and cons. I bet having lived in smaller communities you have several people you grew up with and are very close to. You are blessed :) stay happy. Have a great day ahead! <3
Comment: Thank you for the cool assortment of teas! I'm really enjoying collecting them and I appreciate your contribution to my stash. Incase your not aware the tape marred all of the packages. Some people collect them and it was disappointing to have them all damaged. But, they will be fun to try!
Response: Ah sorry about that, it was a lot cheaper to send as a flat envelope as opposed to parcel (especially internationally) so I had to make them stay in place. Will keep that in mind in the future and get some removable glue dots!
Comment: Thank you very much Katlyn for all the beautiful items in your swap! I loved the colorful decorated envelope, Blue Ridge Mountains postcard, the very pretty fabric samples, and all the varieties of tea! I especially like the paisley fabric, it's so pretty. Looking forward to using in crafting. :) Thank you very much!
Comment: I really liked your spin on The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. Your handwriting is nice and very easy to read. Relating the book to you personally was great. Eventhough I had read the book myself, I found your review of the book interesting. I'm glad you were my partner thank you. Suzanne
Comment: You love making bookmarks and i love having a bookmark in each of my book....so we made good partners there!!
Thanks lot for those creative, lovely and colorful bookmarks....Loved them all!! Cheers!
Thanks for the pretty card, it's a side of Virginia we don't often think about. I know what you mean about holding on to things. As a teacher I have been very guilty of that. I'm retiring in June and there is no way it can all come home.
Comment: You are correct, I have never received a South Park postcard before. I have also never watched the show. I'll have to pay more attention if I come across it. It is a cute postcard, and shockingly it survived the USPS machines undamaged - great quality card!! I'll have to seek this printer out. Cheers.
Comment: This was far beyond what i was expecting and i love your originality! I think you should definately use Clover Ophelia, Aphex Muse, Phoenix Revolution, Sterling Urban and Cyd Valhalla! I enjoyed reading your answers. All the best. x
Comment: thanks for the postcard. Yes, I live about 2 miles from the Book Fair. I am usually there on the 2nd weekend, because I work a food stand for the Friedens Chruch. If you come that weekend, please say "Hi"
Comment: oh it is NEVER too early to start dreamiing about lying on a beautiful tropical beach! I will be spending 17 days on the Gulf of Mexico in Florida where my mom lives in mid-May, and you better believe that I am counting the days! (61!) Thanks for a fun pc! Happy swapping!
Comment: It's so nice to meet a fellow Virginian!!! I actually work in Harrisonburg, and only live about ten minutes away from the Green Valley Book Fair! I love your pictures, especially the scenery ones. Thanks so much for your awesome photography!!!!
Comment: I'm really sorry I haven't rated you before! I received the cd back in spring, and wrote you a message here, but forgot to click "5" instead of "I do not wish to rate Kat at this time"... But I guess it's better late than never? I enjoyed the cd, thank you! <3
Comment: WOW! these are awesome ATCs! thank you so much! i'm not sure which ones are my favorites, there are so many great ones here :-) again, thank you so much for my deck of ATCs, they are really wonderful!
Response: I'm really glad you liked them, I procrastinated and ended up doing them the weekend before they were due =P
here is the discussion about this! :)
once again to clarify, this rating without comments was before I have actually seen the swap package! Sorry that I don't give preemptive hearts.
Response: I didn't see your rating because you didn't bother to write anything about the cards. I went ABOVE and BEYOND the swap expectations, it was only for 10 cads, I sent more. Not that I was expecting a heart, but for mailed swaps you USUALLY actually comment, and say something, like "I liked so and so one best". You just don't leave it blank. Actually, this topic aggrivates me, so I'm starting a thread on the form about it and we'll see what OTHER people have to say. It's ok to leave it blank if it's an email swap, but not a mail one. Just my two cents =D
Comment: My boyfriend first said "And thats why I love you" when he was drunk. He looked like a deer trapped in headlights right after he said it. It slipped out, and he told me that didnt count. Drunken words are sober thoughts, he says. .. It slipped out a few more times after that, always saying " that doesn't count".. till one day.. he said it.. for it to count. Thanks for the answers!
Comment: Thanks for your mix! I can't say my collection of goth (or darkwave, or EBM, you get my drift) gets much beyond Joy Division and the Sisters of Mercy, so there was lots of stuff here that I'd never heard of. Also, "Frontier Psychiatrist" is absolutely fabulous, ain't it?
Comment: Thanks for the mix. I probably hadn't heard about 1/4 of the songs prior to this, so that's always cool, checking out new (to me) music. I completely loved the Mindless Self Indulgence track (how had I not heard them before?) and I downloaded their discography.
Response: I am so glad I introduced you to them. They are industial GODS.
Comment: Woohoo! Thank you so much for this bunch of yummy tea! Cannot wait to try every sachet :) And you sent my favourite Snapple! Yayy! Thankyouthankyou, this made my day! :D You deserve a zillion of heats :D Hugs!
Comment: Thank you Kat for the great ATCs, very realistic!
I feel like it's Christmas in June with the great extras you sent!!! I love the ink, stamps, beads and yummy teas - can't wait to try them :)
I hope you come back to Mexico soon - my hometown in particular - I will be your guide :)
Thank you for your generosity!!!
Response: No problem, I'm glad you liked everything. When I saw it was difficult for you to find craft supplies, I was like, "oh no, I need to help!". Glad you liked it =]
Comment: I loved the all the different fonts you used in your list...it was so much fun to read. The part about hitting bees with tennis rackets made me about fall out of my chair laughing. I LOVE to do that too!
Response: Haha, really?!?! I thought I was the only one. I had no idea that bee murder via a tennis racket was a popular sport =P
Comment: I'm totally getting this framed! Cool CD too! Sometimes these swaps are a shot in the dark, alot of times you get stuff you don't really like, but your stuff is great! You're one of my favorite people on swap-bot!
Response: Glad you liked it =] And awww, that makes me feel special, haha.
Comment: Thanks for resending! Whether it got lost or I over looked it, I appreciate you not getting upset, but rather resending.
I'm an only child too. Kind of nice to be the only one...at least I thought so. :)
Response: Haha, I don't know anyone who'd get mad at having to re-send an email =P And yes, being the only is quite nice, you don't have to share with anyone!
Comment: Hi, Kat!!
Thanks so much for all the great stuff!! You really send a goldmine, and believe me, my 15 year old daugher is mining it to the fullest extent...she loves the stuff!! It's all cute..thank you so much!!
Your swap pal,
Comment: I love your drawings! What a fun sheet of consumables, I love looking at it, its like a cool journal entry (would make a great zine!). And you draw very well BTW, this is so cute! I am still chuckling at the butt gas, haha.) You made me remember stuff I forgot to put on mine!
Response: Aww thank you glad you liked it! And what can I say, it's easier to draw a butt than it is a gas pump =P
