Comment: If I could only give you Many more Hearts.....thank you, love the wrapping haven't opened it, will wait but it is hard....thank you very much & enjoyed the note so much...made my day. :)
Response: I think you will be pleased with what is inside too. I have been doing less swaps lately, but putting the most time and care into the ones I choose. I am so glad I could make your day. That is why I am here. To spark creativity, bring joy, and have a little fun.
Comment: Thank you SO much for this amazing bag! I adore it. So much great texture and charmy bits. This is my first received patch bag and you have just made the rainy start of summer break so lovely. YAY!
Response: I am so so glad you adore it. I would love to see a picture of yours if you don’t mind sharing. It was a lot of fun making it for you. I needed that art challenge to take my mind off other things. Enjoy!
Comment: I do love the postcard. And you're welcome to pick my brain anytime on my art. Always happy to share ideas. I teach in FL every year at Stampfest...end of June/early July. If you're nearby we could compare talents. Would love to see your mosaics and stained glass.
Response: I live in the Keys. Tonight I was just looking at Winter Stampfest. It is 7.5 hours away. Thanks for the heart. Do you have a web site?
Comment: Wow! Such fun earrings! Thank you so much! I love the little bottles of sand and the bits of sea life. And all the extras were so sweet! I'm going to keep the two dollar bill as a good luck charm just like my grandma did. Thank you again for the great gift! Happy Holidays!
Response: So glad you liked it. Got the idea from my partner that sent right away. I also love $2 bills. My banker had 8 of them the day before I sent your earrings. I usually give them to students for birthdays, so my banker saves them for me. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Your spare card arrived today. :) Thank you! Oh, a sewn card, I love sewing onto paper too!
Response: I am glad it brought you joy and you got it. The mail lady said the stitching might be the reason you didn't get the first one. She wasn't sure if you would get this one because of it. I did have one without and if you didn't get that one I was planning on sending the one without stitching next!
Comment: It is beautiful and way better than the one I sent you. I'm actually a little embarrassed. It was my first one and after seeing yours I know I can do much bettrr
Response: I am glad you liked it. The swaps I put up are meant to challenge me with a deadline and anyone I can take with me is a bonus. If you learned something or stepped out of your comfort zone it was worth doing. You can always have a do over...lol. Thanks for the heart.
Response: I have a tracking number and will research it. If they lost it I will make you another. I always follow through with my swaps. I am so glad the biggest worry in your life is one late swap. I hope no one including yourself ever has a medical emergency. I am very very sorry for your late swap. 9/25. I am not sure why you changed it...but on a really sad day for me it gave me a little bit of joy. Thank you.
Comment: Its great to hear your property is fine. Hopefully others will have the same luck as you. May blessings continue in your life. Thank you for the wrapped gift...I save mine till December and open 1 item each day till Christmas, making it last longer :-)
Response: You are so welcome. Hope I didn't ruin the surprise too much with the letter. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Thank you...I'm confused as to why you marked the swap sent on Aug. 7th and the postmark on the envelope is Aug 21st (past the send date) but I was relieved that it came and was not a lost swap like I feared it was since you marked it sent so early in the month....Happy swapping,
Response: I had mailed a stack of mail on the day I marked your letter sent and your letter was in that group. On the weekend I was cleaning out my car and found two pieces of mail that had fallen between the seat. Since I had put together your package before partners where picked I thought you would get it close to on time. Sorry for the worry. Hope you liked what I sent.
Comment: Hi Paula! Thank you so much for your lovely card/note! Chicago is such a wonderful city, you should come back and visit if you get the chance. I absolutely loved the goodies included in the card, especially the postcard stamps and the color-your-own tags. So cute!
Response: Glad it made you happy. I live in the Keys now. Pretty far away and no ties to it anymore. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Love, love, love them! You are such an efficient Carver. I carve, and carve, and carve.
Response: I thought they came out fun. Glad you love them. Thanks for the heart.
I love making them and practice. I made one for my stepdaughter's bday that ended up in the trash because I wasn't happy with it.
Comment: D for three (!) squares AND for a thoughtful note and for making these thoughtfully. You're right, they 're not really my way of making square. And thanks for the book magnet -- It will get a lot of use.
Response: Hope you can find a use for them. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the nice fabric squares collection. I'm always on the look out for anything with blue in it. Making a quilt called My Blue Heaven. All blue fabrics with navy and white trims. Thanks again.
Response: Glad you liked them. Thanks so much for the heart.
Comment: Paula.... I LOVE the block you sent! I like to make the blocks with batting too..... I've made them with polyfill but I prefer the batting.... Thanks for the extra "in progress" block you sent too!
Response: Glad you were happy. I love Teesha Moore, and I love working on her inspired art. She recently had a stroke, and I was so sad for her, but I heard from her husband she is staying positive and working hard in recovery.
Comment: Thank you for resending, the first one never showed up!!
Response: I am sorry about that. I am glad you got the resend. Just recently some of my swaps have gone missing. I mail all of them from the post office because I don't trust leaving them in my mailbox. It really takes a lot of the fun out of it when you put time, effort, and part of your self into an art project and the intended doesn't get it. I love sending and receiving real stamps but lately have been sending more with tracking. Thanks for rating.
Comment: You finally arrived. I wasn't expecting a Halloween paper doll but you did a beautiful job.
Response: Is it one with a photo face or a drawing face? Both were Halloween.
I am glad one finally showed up. The first one had all fabric outfit with great Halloween Black shoes. The second one was a mostly black outfit with the leftover shoes. Glad you think it was a good job. The black outfit I threw together in my car during my lunch....lol.
Comment: OMG i forgot to rate you dear! My health has not been good. I am so sorry i loved it all!!! Your little presents were amazing!! had alot of fun opening them! I love the birthday hats on everything it was a great touch i so wanna do that!! Totally stealing that idea everything was awesome! IDK if you knew or not but i collect coins and money from everywhere and do have one $2 bill so the second one was amazing to me to put in my book with my other moneys... mostly i have american currency since that's what i see most of since i live in america but have a few canadian bc i live on the border and a few for over seas mostly coins so thank you very much it is much loved and appreciated!!
Response: I am so glad it made your day special! Happy birthday! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the fabric. Very colorful. I love Halloween and have a use for what you sent. It's a hanging that goes over your door knob. Has a black cat and letters that spell out BOO. Each letter is a different Halloween print. I've made before and it's so cute. Thanks again.
Response: I would love to see them! Thanks for the heart.
Comment: I can't believe my ladybug tic tac toe set. I adore it. So clever and creative. I'll be playing with it with my grandkids when they come for a visit. So adorable. Thank you so much. Love both my swaps. You rock! Pun intended. Lotsa hearts.
Response: So glad it made you happy. Crazy you got it so fast! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hi Paula, Thanks for sending. Your envie arrived at my daughter's. We are in process of international move. I'm rating as I didn't want you to have to wait. I'm sure I'll love it all. Blessings. HI AGAIN, PAULA, FINALLY GOT TO SEE YOUR SWAP. THANKS SO MUCH. MAYBE I'LL MAKE A DOLL WITH THOSE BIG HANDS TOO. GOD BLESS.
Response: Thanks for rating and thanks for the heart. Good luck with your move!
Comment: Paula YOU ROCK!!! Thanks SO MUCH for the awesome package!! I wondered what "Project Life Cards" were! LOVE the Boston postcard!! I will covet it for a while :-) And I never thought I would own Tim Holtz stickers! Thanks so much for EVERYTHING! Cheers, Theresa
Response: Thanks so much for the complement and the heart!
Comment: I love the patch! Thanks for the lovely note! it was fun filling a pencil box. Maybe we can do a private one? It will be fun finishing the patch you sent. The envelope is a riot!
Response: I thought you might appreciate the envelope. I got a book of South Beach photos.....a coffee table book I can't imagine anyone would read but it is big enough to make some larger funny envelopes. I would love to do a private swap with you.
Comment: Hi Paula, I loved all the beautiful envies you sent...they are very cool and my favorites are the charlie brown/peanuts ... thank you so much. The handmade envie you sent them in was also very nice...I appreciate it so much. Hope you have a lovely day and blissful summer swapping :)xx
Response: I am so glad you liked them. I liked the Charlie Brown ones too. I made them out of a hallmark book. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: I love my new tiara and I would love to know how you made it. When DH brought the mail in he said someone sent you a scary envelope. But I noticed the pretty butterfly stamp and the butterfly washi tape. Thanks too for the Q.
Response: I can't remember which envelope I sent you. I think it was one made from a South Beach book I was given. You need a very large page to make a 5x7 envelope. I made your tiara from an iced tea can and a piece of velum. I am glad you liked it.
Comment: Thank you for the great patch and for the extra one. Hoping to make a Christmas throw pillow with the ones I receive. Great envie too!
Response: Glad you were happy with them. They are so much fun to make. Today I started on the next round. Made some hand made charms I think will go on the next ones. Last week I got some new fabric too. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: LOVE your patches. don't worry, I used that fabric on the back of mine. I wasn't as creative. I have a feeling that we could all use the same fabric and end up with completely different patches. we all have different styles and ideas! that is what makes all of this great!! thanks for some beautiful patches! (love the flower!)
Response: I love the flower on the little patch too. So glad you did. I got a few new Christmas fabrics yesterday so if I get you next time you will get new fabrics. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Thanks for the fun postcard! I'm not sure I'll ever make that recipe (what is a double boiler???), but it sure sounds tasty! I love crab! And that's neat that you have an aunt who winters in Tucson. I wish I could "summer" somewhere else! :-) Thank you for sharing!
Response: Double boiler is a pan that holds water with another pan that fits in and over the water. Keeps you from scorching delicate liquids like chocolates and cream based recipes. I made it.....it was a lot of work.....lol. Rather get it at a restaurant.....but some people like recipe pc. They are a little different. I send them to my 6 yo niece and she makes them with her mom. Thanks for the heart and happy swapping.
Comment: I'm humbled by the fact that you used a piece of your weddings dress! Wow so very special. I will definitely cherish that patch! They are all so wonderful! You did a beautiful job on these and they will make my treeskit even more wonderful! Thank you so much! ....I'm in so much awe right now!
Response: So happy you liked them. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Paula, thank you for the shell postcard. I can't go to the beach without picking up shells, sea glass and driftwood. I think everyone feels like us. You see a shell, you have to pick it up. Shirley
Response: Completely on the same page with you! Happy swapping!
Comment: This is gorgeous! The color is exactly the color of the water down there. (We were in Islamorada for a wedding over New Years - love that part of our beautiful state) How did you do that with a soda can? Did you run it through an embosser? I love the guilded bits too. They are beautiful.
Thank you so much for the stencils. Yes! I can and will be using these!!
Response: I am glad you liked it. I colored the inside of the can with alcohol ink. Cut it to size ran it through a sizzix with an embossing folder. Glued it to a cereal box.
Comment: Thank you for another lovely flag! This arrived last week and I thought I had rated already. We have unexpected company as a relative from out of town was in an accident and ended in our hospital as it was close to the scene. We are a little unorganized as a result. Love the stencilling and colours, and the butterfly is pretty!
Response: Sorry about your relative.
Glad you liked the flag.
Comment: LOVE my chunky row house. This was my first house swap and this little fabric lovely is SO charming! Thanks so much, and I'm sorry you worked so hard on the previous metal one! I bet it looked awesome!
Comment: Wow! Thank you so much for this wonderful package! You obviously put so much thought and consideration into an Art Box that would be just right for me. I love everything and really appreciate your work! Thank you. :)
Response: I am glad you liked it. I tried to make it special.
Comment: Paula, Arrived today in Ukraine. Pretty papers and appreciate the little extras. Thanks for being in my swap. Here's a link to another envie swap (not mine) I just stumbled upon. Looks interesting. http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/222943
Response: Thanks so much. I am glad you are happy!
Comment: Thank you so much hun!! I love the designs you did inside my name!! You did dashes on the outside line of the R, the thickness of the pen really makes it stand out. I really appreciate the stamped images and the lil envelope. So curious what is the page from?
Response: Glad you got it and are happy. I am not sure about the page. I make a lot of them and usually use discarded library books. When the music teacher at one of my schools retired he gave me some really old music books. I only had two left or I would have added more.
Comment: I love her! I like the tiny flower you put on the fin area makes it look cleaner. Oh I don't mind recycling the box and the tissue paper. Less going to the land filled and why waste money buying it when you have it..
Response: Glad you are happy with her. Picked the colors from your profile. Tried to add the blue as well but it was too much.
Comment: Dear Paula...
I would give you 10 hearts if I could....
What a amazing swap this is....
I LOVE ITTT!!!!!!
Thank you soooow much for this cute little hedgehog... And all the other things...
Response: I am so glad you liked him. I had fun putting this together for you.
Comment: It was interesting to read about your great book the encyclopedia of Women. I was thinking how many great women artists that were in there musing......hehe....I loved your post card on Betsy Ross! Also loved the little Information you added on the back Paula! Thank you again! This deserves a 5!
Response: Unfortunately there were no artists. Writers, president 's wives, and all kind of other women. No artists, go figure.
Comment: Thanks Paula for the handmade coloring postcard. It had lots of beautiful curves to follow and it was just a beautiful design! thank you for taking the time to create something for me. It is up on my wall!
Response: Glad you liked it. I created it with love in my heart.
Comment: Thank you for the great manatee postcard. I live about 3 miles from a manatee observation area. It's kinda funny that I live in Florida and both partners in this swap sent postcards from Florida :)) Have an awesome day!
Response: That is funny. Of all of the places. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Martha (My postal lady) rang the bell she was so excited, and so was I!. Beautiful , whimsical and fun. Thank you also for the kind sentiment inside LOVE IT!!!
Response: I just learned how to felt from a previous swap and it is a lot of fun. I got that box at Christmas time but didn't have the right gift for it. Since it didn't have Christmas decorations on it I thought it was perfect for a peaking leprechaun. Glad it brought you joy.
Comment: Hi Paula !!
Thank you for this awesome Key West post card! <3 I absolutely LOVE KEY WEST! I would love to go there again... and hope to within the next few years!
Thank you so much!!!
Have a lovely weekend!
Comment: Thank you so much for the very nice swap, and your very sweet letter. My boys are always very interested where my "letter friends" are from so it was so fun to show them where their special postcard came from and what you do there :) have a great day!
Response: I am so glad you liked it. I love kids. They make the world a better place.
Comment: I <3 the 3d card.... Im going to have totry and make one because it was wonderful and fun my kids enjoyed it too thnx again
Response: No heart for the Valentine's Day hearts :(
I made the base with a sizzix die, but I teach paper crafting so I could help you out with making the base without a die. I love 3D cards and most people like getting them. I toyed with making it flowers instead of hearts so it could hang out on your counter longer but I love Valentine's Day. Happy V Day.
