Comment: I find tea staining papers relaxing. I do it all in my kitchen using the stove and oven. I use my large turkey pan which is nice since otherwise I only would use it a few times a year for holidays heh. I fill it with the tea about half way and keep the burners on very low or off occasionally. After letting the papers soak a little while in the tea solution I use my cookie sheets and the oven on very low to dry them. I just love the color change and the different texture of the paper. This is the video on YouTube I learned from Mrs Cog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kDRgZsAmy4

Comment: Loving the so cute puppies! Which I love puppies and have one, 4 month old Chihuahua named Jasper. He is the sweetest & I love him so much! You say you have DJD & nerve problems. That's terrible to have & I feel for you! About as bad as MS & the Degenerative disc disease I have. Plus other not so pleasant illnesses & I truly hate it & wish things were different. I was just at my MS doctors today & got my daily does chemo. So much fun! Not ! But I have to have it every day, for the next 3 weeks. Thank god my doctor is close by! You take care & I hope you're doing okay.
Response: Hang in there and I hope your chemo med helps. Glad you liked the puppies! I grew up raising chihuahuas and have a German Shepherd now

Response: My Dads side of the family has a long line of Baptist Pastors and there is a cemetery with some family back to the 1800’s. One with a civil war memorial for gallantry! Some day I’ll visit. I think it’s in Tuscaloosa (Shiloh Baptist)
Comment: Thank you for such an amazing card! This is the best holiday card ever and my favorite I think I've every received!
My sister is taking me on my very first cruise in January and we're going to swim with sea turtles in the Caribbean! Reading about your experience has made me more excited to go! I've only ever seen turtles behind glass.

Comment: I absolutely love this postcard, thank you! I didn't know Betsy was a shortening of Elizabeth. You're right though, it would be cool to see some more 'old school' names come back into fashion :)
Comment: This is the cutest postcard - Mailboxes Around the World - I will post this in my art room for sure! Thanks for sharing about your breakthrough for migraines, I've heard of that treatment before! Yay!
Comment: Such a cool vintage stamp!! Thanks so much for the fun swap. I collect stickers like that, from places, I didn't even put that on my profile because I never thought of it. So that inclusion was SO awesome!!
Response: Oh good! I try to pick those out when I’m out different places here to send people 😀
Comment: I appreciated your letter, but am very sorry to hear about all you've had to deal with in regards to your neighbor, your dog, and those pesky chickens. I'd be livid. Ugh. I certainly hope that situation is taken care of and you can all put it behind you. (: I hope your upcoming weeks are much better!
Response: Thank you. He moved the chickens 🐓 I can’t hear them anymore!
Comment: sorry this rating is kinda late, it got caught up in some other mail that I had already rated.
BTW love the card and the Geocaching quote. lol I totally agree, not enough time to do things. maybe try making a huge list for the week or month and check off as done, that's what I do b/c my life is crazy and I never have enough time
Comment: I am giving you a heart because I am sure the PC you described would have made me smile. It hasn't shown up, but maybe it will one of these days -- that has happened before! I did put you on our prayer chain, and I hope we get to swap again. Blessings!
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful Capricorn image and Greek mythology about the constellation. As a sea goat myself I especially appreciate it! I didn't know the part about Zeus transforming her broken horn into the cornucopia. Thanks for enlightening me,
Response: I didn’t know either but I love looking facts up! You’re welcome!
Comment: Your user name and name stamp are amazing! I've only met one other Betsy, she's a lively opera singer! Thanks for this notecard. It's so sweet to read a personal note and you really made my day. :)
