Comment: Thank you for the extras. I don't like leaving you a 3 but it was sent late and I don't appreciate you marking it was sent on the 10th (ship date), letting me know 4 days later you were still working on it and then it taking another 6 days to ship it. There were 3 weeks to work on it and to have it shipped by the due date. Sorry. :(
Comment: I'm really sorry but I still have not received anything even though you said you would be sending on the 6th of September. I'm very understanding but only if you are completely honest with me. You marked this sent on 9/1 but contacted me on 9/5 saying your mom took it and you would have to make me another one. But here it is 9/19 13 days after your message and still nothing and no communication. Communication is important but so is honesty. You shouldn't mark sent until it is actually shipped. If you intended on sending on that day and it became obvious that it wouldn't be you should have went back and marked it unsent. I will gladly change this rating once I do receive. I'm really sorry but I feel you give me no choice.
Response: ** UPDATE** I just got the package returned. "Insufficiant address"? Could you email me your address? *** I am very sorry. Time did get away from me. No excuse! It is on its way. I understand you being frustrated with me. Again, I am very sorry.
Comment: Hello Nolana, I got your letter today. Thank you very much for sharing. I'll write back soon (next week). I hope things will get better for you real soon. Sending you lots of courage and huge hugs ;)
Comment: Awesome "State of TX" dotee! And please thank Joli for the one she made! My granddaughters (4 & 6) want it...because "Aww, the baby girl bug has sparkly beads on her tail!" If it wasn't female before, it is now... Good job on both!
Response: Cool. She will be happy you liked it. My 8 yr old made one too, but we think one of our cats took it. They had alot of fun making them.
Comment: Got the package today. The boys are out of town but I will let you know when they get it tomorrow.
Update 8/11: Zac opened the envelope today and won't stop carrying all the goodies around. [Jacob decided not to participate when it came to making for someone else, so all the goodies are Zacs]. He especially likes the larger Mario piece, he wants to use it as a bookmark. He decided he wanted to store his ATCs with my 'cute ones' in the baseball card binder I store them in. He loves them and you girls did a great job. His older sister, 9, is very impressed with your art skills. :) Thanks bunches, he loves them.
Response: Sounds Good. We hope they like it. ** We are very happy they like them! The large pieces connected with yarn are bookmarks. They are foldable and easy to carry around.
Comment: This is so cool. The sweets you sent are exactly what my great grandmother used to have on her dining room table when I was a little girl. I would spend hours walking past it waiting for the moment when my naughty cousin and I had a chance to sneak one. Thanks for the memories!
Response: Im glad you liked it. My Aunt used to send us Salt Water Taffy from California a few times a year. They are so delicious!!
Comment: Love the Sasquatch what a grreat idea having your dog help.
I will have to try it maybe a Polor Bear to use my dog for help
Just recived Morag she is as great as the other what a great idea for the water
Thank you again
Comment: I really don't like giving 3's, but you had posted you sent this swap June 29th, then you messaged me and told me you hadn't sent it, but will, I never heard from you, so I had to message you a few times, then you finally told me you sent it. The postmark says sent July 17th pm (1 day short of being sent 3 weeks late) I understand things happen, but when you mark something sent and you didn't, that is misleading to people.
Response: I understand. Life was really bad for the month of June and July. I truly clicked sent when I was going to send it. I am very sorry. Life has gotten back to.....normal(ish). I hope you liked the cards. My girls had fun making them too.
Comment: This ATC was sent late. You contacted me on July 2nd saying that you had pushed send but you would send it out on the 3rd. The postmark is July 17.
The swap hostess said no sticker slapping, instead of a sticker, there is a photocopied picture of the inside of a refrigerator, put together with scotch tape and coloured with crayons, which is basically the same level of effort.
I am open to you doing a resend and would gladly rate a 5 for an ATC that showed appropriate time and effort was put into it.
Response: That wasnt the intent. I did use what I had around. Even chuckled to myself about the refrigerator. Im sorry that it seemed crappy. Let me do aother one. :'-(
Comment: Thanks for all the great goodies! Those shirts run small so this extra big one fits great! I love the picture! As i pulled it out I thought "oh I have this pic, then a noticed the scene was different, Im wondering if they are some kind of set? hmm :) anywho! great swap!!!
Comment: Me and my husband was amazed u sent Dr Pepper in a can thru mail and it didnt explode. I left one in the car a couple days last week and when i picked it up it exploded in my hand took 6 stitches so be careful sending stuff as hot as it is thru mail
Response: Oh...Ok. Did everything else make it through ok?
Comment: We got the package today and all 3 girls were ecstatic! You'd think it was Christmas! Emma loved everything... especially the chocolate bar bubbles and the bracelet. Ann loved the collection of dice and is sitting (as I write this) at the dining table putting the origami farm together. Belle has had a blast playing with the bubbles, and moustaches. And we devoured the girl scout cookies. How did you guess our families 3 favorite flavors. We will save the popsicles for tomorrow. Thanks so much. The girls have read the letters over and over. Tell you daughters that the girls would love to swap again sometime.
Response: That has truly made our day! Thank you!! The girls would love to swap again and even become penpals.
Comment: Heehee :) thanks for all the awesome bookmarks - i shall never have to root around my bag for an old bus ticket or (shudder) fold the corner of the page over.... WE ALL ADORE THEM!! Thanks again
Response: Im so glad you liked them. We all had so much fun.
Comment: Thank you for the Ghostly package, it came today (Tuesday). I love the way you did the envelope, very creative. The pictures are great, amazing how black and white can change the meaning of the photo. I remember watching creature features as a kid, can't wait to watch them & read the story :o)
Response: Im glad you could recognize the package. I was afraid it didnt look like a coffin anymore. The pictures were taken at ranch that used to be a fort town in Texas. My girls love to explore it often... hence your little "ghost". :-D
Comment: Absolutely fabulous package
filled with wonderful things that
my Paul will really adore! Very generous
of you.... He will love everything. It suits him extremely well. :) Thank you so much for making this a wonderful swap!
Comment: I think you did not look at my profile, I did get a broken toy car, but what do I have to do with an toy car? You have to do a little bit more effort...
Response: Oh no! The toy car was not broken. I thought it was cute and fun. This was my first swap. I thought it was just kind of a cute and silly. Sorry. Will do better next swap! (The car breaking really stinks!)
