Comment: Oh my god thank you so much for your letter I feel so spoiled and I LOVE the Indigenous pieces! It's so gorgeous I don't want to use any of it haha I just want to save it and keep llooking at it! Thank you so much!
Comment: I got your notebook! Can't wait to get started with it! :) Already signed up for the second round! Also I love the stamps you put on the envelope! Thank you for the hello kitty envelopes!,❤️ also, so cool that you moved to a farm!
Response: I know, this travelling notebook is such a fun idea! Hope your notebook passes through one day💗
Comment: Thank you very much for your wonderful package and your effort. I can't wait to taste the tea. :) You needn't have worried about the "new" cards - "new" means "not vintage", so next time feed free to send used cards. :) Thank you again. Be safe, healthy and happy!
Comment: I was so confused by what it was because it had been awhile since I had sent it and forget long dismay everything mail takes a while. I love the prints and I will keep and frame them one day when I get my own house for decorations! It will look good in a kitchen! I love all your stamps by the way!! I wish we had a turtle one for the United States!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and little Paris gift tag. My friend also had Duran Duran posters on her wall as a teen and I never understood why she thought Simon Le Bon was "soooo cute" - of course she also had Boy George on her walls too, so it was definitely the 80's! Hope all is well with you!
Comment: Thank you for the great postcards and the extras! I love when people go above and beyond for a swap. I did actually go through Prince George when we drove from Alaska. My parents and I took about two months in our camper when we were moving from Alaska to Washington State. We got to stop and see so much. I loved all the trains in Prince George. Thank you for joining this swap.
Response: Small 🌎. Funny you remember the trains - when my Austrian penpal came to visit last year, I took her to the train museum and a hiking trail.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely mail ♡ It really cheered me up! Because of covid19, I put my swaps on hold for as long as necessary, but I promise I'll answer you once quarantine is over. Thank you for all the goodies - Hurly Booty was my favorite lol
Comment: Thank you for your lovely letter! Your name sounded familiar as well when I saw the return address :-) Now I need to look up what swap it was that I sent you of course LOL My 50th is coming upon me fast as my birthday is on the 26th this month... Only 19 days to go! <3
Comment: Love the card, Tracy--Thanks for sharing one of your favorites. I appreciate it extra much as I am surrounded by hundreds (scores at least) of pencils, pens, brushes and more pens. Thanks for the stickers and cool stamps, too.
Comment: Hello Tracy, I loved your envelope, thank you very much! You didn't put the name of the swap, I couldn't identify you. A little word went out to you because I did not know what swap was the exchange. Happy exchange! Elise It was by coincidence that I found your name.
Response: Whoops - probably assembled that one on a chaotic day! Glad you figured it out.
Comment: So spoiled, so spoiled! Thankyou! I love all the bookmarks, but the book rug is really special - and lovely to feel! I haven't seen anything like that before, it's just beautiful! Rest assured, it will be treasured! Thanks again for a great Tracy to Tracy swap!!!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful PC. I actually own a little stock in the CN. We had two CN subsidiaries operating in New England; The Grand Trunk and the Central Vermont, and we would often see CN power on both.
Response: What a small world - the lot that my home is built on was owned by the Grand Trunk back in the 1930’s.
Comment: Thank you so much for your interesting letter; it sparked so many responses in me! First of all, you got my name right - I can't see how people could mess up your name! Someone just needs to go into the computer list and correct it and then SAVE the correction! ha!
I have not been to Laos or Cambodia, but I have been to Costa Rica! That was a great trip! Love your pics - you took your dogs along with you?
About God - we're at the age where friends are dropping dead; makes one investigate that they have the afterlife figured out. Not only does God help reassure me in that area, but he also helps me in this life in such a loving way. I wanted to find out the truth, and I have found it in God and my savior, Jesus Christ.
I watched a movie about the Camino de Santiago; it was very interesting.
I haven't been on any pilgrimage, nor have i been to India. A friend of mine went to Lourdes and brought back water from there. I had a medical issue (post-menopausal bleeding) and before I had gone to the dr. for tests, my friend put a little Lourdes water on my abdomen (over my clothes) and my friends prayed over me. I went to the dr, and the dr was very sympathetic and kind to me; she hugged me and walked me out of her office. I thought this wasn't going to be good. But the test came back negative! I credit that to God's mercy on me.
Our daughter-in-law is also a social worker; she specializes in adoptions. It is very satisfying for her.
I do a lot of card-making. I got enthusiastic when I learned how to make pop-up cards. They take some time to make, but they sure are fun to send! I try to put something on the card that the recipient is interested in or something we experienced together.
I have traded some ATCs and I have to admit they are a little over my head. The ones I got back were so much better than mine, so I decided that was not my gift.
Thanks again for a wonderful letter; I enjoyed it very much!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Koi ATC and the washi tape. Your so thoughtful for the heart shaped lili pad...thankyou. Oh Ps. the stamps on your envelope were not cancelled so I will be able to reuse them...sweet...
Comment: Hi Tracy! I enjoyed reading about your weekend - sounds like it was a good one! Thank you for the fall goodies! We do not have Festival of the Trees here but I feel like I am missing out! Comment: Thanks for the lovely bookmarks and your letter. No worries on the bookmark, it’s fine. 😀 The envelope was neat as well and loved the stamps. Thats so cool you got to help erect a totem. 😀 No, not Native American, I just like leaning about the culture and various tribes. Thanks again!
Comment: Ooh, I love the green!!!!!!! That man best let you paint something green all right! haha. Thanks for such a super generous package of goodies. I will absolutely be postcard pals - my first will come from the small town I just moved to, then in October from St. Louis, my first trip, and then who knows where from there? I actually have a goal of spending more disposable income on experiences than things. So far, I'm a mega fail, but also, I don't start really counting it until Jan 1, 2019, so... I look forward to hearing from you, as well!
Response: Oh great! I am hitting the road later this month so will drop you a pc too.
Comment: Thank you for all the really wonderful bookmarks & their histories. You have such a generous heart to part with such precious things. And thank you for the FB! You're welcome to send me more (and any bags) if you want!

Comment: Thank you for your postcard. I loved the stamps and I agree that the flowers was nice to receive. The winters aren't anything like what you get up there in BC, but I am looking forward to the Spring and wildflower season here. :)

Comment: I love everything you sent! The bookmark is beautiful. And the postcard is very cool! I've been To Stratford-upon-Avon, but only remember seeing the Shakespeare stuff. And they both came from great places - is the Hospice Resale to benefit an area hospice? My dad was in hospice for a very short time before he passed, and they were so exceptional there - made us feel comfortable every step! What a great charity! Thanks so much - I'll put it all to use!
Comment: What a bright, sunny package for such grey winter weather! The ATC is totally amazing. I've been thinking maybe I should start making them, and now I feel inspired! a fuzzy card is a genius idea! Thanks for sending it my way. The whole package was a joy to open. Thank you!
Response: Glad you liked it!! I know what you mean about fuzzys and felts: the potential is endless.
Comment: Amazing photo! You are an astounding photographer. I have always wanted to go to Japan, but haven't gotten to it yet. Isn't it interesting that people with mental health issues are often so creative and so good at seeing things in ways that we may not? I work in a title I school, which for some reason is a magnet for children with mental illnesses. Some of the children I have worked with who are dealing with the first signs of their schizophrenia, manic depression, etc., are the ones who exhibit the best "out of the box" thinking and thrive in times of the day like writing and art. I agree that normal is boring and I try to tell my children that often.
Response: I am so glad you also see this - now to shift this way of seeing into the mainstream!, that would be beautiful.
