Comment: Thank you for the beautiful inspiration card. I love that quote! A perfect choice for me. :) Your collage was full of my favorite things including a Charlie Harper goldfinch! And your washi tape envelope was lovely. Thanks also for the sea turtle postcard. Rockin' swap package!! <3<3<3

Comment: Thank you for the ee cummings quote....he is one of my favorites from my youth and I have nit seen his work for some time so it was a lovely reminder....also loved the decorations on the card.💕💕
Comment: You did a great job decorating the envelope and the notecard in washi tape. Was a very nice to hear from you. I also enjoy wild flowers and have flowers in my garden that smell, not just for pretty. I have a frankincense candle burning right now. I love my aromatherapy! Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Thanks a lot for your lovely envelope. Lasse was in love with all those stickers, cards and stuff. Especially since he is born in MO and Mommy has visited Oklahoma City while pregnant with him we had a lot to talk about afterwards. Thanks a lot.
Comment: I love how all these diverse birds come together on this postcard! And the mail message was great, too. Thanks for a big smile and a lot of pondering as to how you figured out the lay out! Grawwwwk!
Comment: Tasha, I adore the PC you sent! As a very young child, my grandfather owned a "service station" that looked a bit like the one on your card. Brought back sweet memories. Terrific poem! May we celebrate this "wild and precious life!" Hugs and hearts coming now...jinanne
Comment: * I got the week 3 resend, I love the photos, my favorite is the one of the lake. This swap has been so much fun,I loved having little happiness inspired challenges every week :) everything you sent was so considerate and lovely, thanks again for everything. Let me know if you host a swap similar to this again! Hope your November is full of happiness too :)
Response: Brett, thank you for your rating (and I'm glad the second try on week 3 didn't also take the scenic route). I'm happy you enjoyed everything! I had a lot of fun with this swap. :)
Comment: First of all I apologize for the late rating. Life became unexpectedly busy and feel bad that I didn't realise this until now. I felt your story was very expressive and creative. Encouraging my imagination to play along with your story.
Response: A very delayed reply on my part (oops), but I appreciate your comments about my writing. :)
Comment: Squee!!! Thank you so, so much. I love the water pages (the rainbow one was lovely), and thank you for angelling the woodland one too. I wish I could give more hearts, but will have to make do with expressing my huge gratitude.
Response: I'm so thrilled that you liked the pages, Zoe! You're absolutely welcome, and thank you for your kind rating. :)
Comment: Love the first part of this, and like I told Elizabeth lol working page at a time on reading these. I'm sure you're familiar- with kids of your own probably hanging all over you like mine currently is. Can't wait to see where this goes! <3
Response: Thanks for your rating - I hope you like how the story progresses & ends too. :)
Comment: Lovely poem! (";)
"cloud art": clouds gather our blown wishes like stardust petals and scatter them, water them, live them -
our story, a sky stage.
(Sorry I had to fiddle with your lines and punctuation (darned site!) - just thought it was such a pretty poem and wanted people to know you wrote it.)
Response: Hi Terry, I appreciate your kind rating. I'm really happy that you enjoyed "cloud art". :)
Comment: Thank you so much! I love it all! As you said, the stones have a wonderful feeling to them and the sun catcher is just lovely. I hung it up in my kitchen window so that it can catch light all day. I definitely hope we get the opportunity to swap again in the future :)
Response: So happy you enjoyed everything! Happy autumn to you, xo.
Comment: Thanks for the story. The problem with anything touch on sci-fi (I know it's not specifically) is you need the science part right -- you can't get green without either sunlight of artificial sunlight. I'm a very flat footed realist.
Response: Weeelll, this swap was for all types of writing, June. :) I could have spent my words world-building, but I wanted to simply HINT at that and instead focus on people-building, exploring the flow of words and the way two people were trying to cope in a changing world. Thanks for rating!
Comment: I loved unwrapping everything :) Thank you for the lovely stones, I like the lepidolite and how it reminds you of a summer thunderstorm, very unique. OMG the quill is amazing! PERFECT for my collection, thank you for being so thoughtful. Tell your daughter thank you too! Everything is fantastic. xoxo
Response: I'm thrilled that you enjoyed everything. :)
Comment: Cute story but I so love the envelope. When do you find envelopes like that?
Response: Thanks for your rating. My mom gave me a bunch of envelopes when she cleared out her stationery collection. You can find other envelopes online, at office supply stores, scrapbooking stores, etc.
Comment: I love the photos you sent! It is wonderful to see the similarities in our landscapes when we are so far apart, and also the differences! The rock is great too- it is perfect for my curiosity cabinet
Response: I know this response is reeeaaally late, but thank you for your rating and comment - I'm happy that you enjoyed everything. :)
Comment: What a perfect package. Thank you! I named my most recently adopted cat Dandelion. :) I am also interested in using dandelions in a culinary and medicinal way. Can't wait to try the tea you sent! Thanks again for a swap that was "right up my alley"!
Response: I'm thrilled that you enjoyed what I sent and that you're a fellow admirer of the misunderstood flower. :D
Comment: It arrived. I liked your approach, however, just make sure you follow the swap guidelines for the next one. The colors for the card are my favorite, thank you.
Response: Thank you for your rating - I picked out that card just for you. :) (As a side note, I realized I made a mistake on the size two days after I mailed it and immediately PMed and offered to resend. I'm sorry that I made it a bit larger than "pocket"!)
Comment: I so enjoyed your story. Very other-worldly, which is interesting to me. The language you used made me feel as if I were there. Different expressions you used enhanced the mood of the story: "Eva felt her heart hold its own drum circle with rhythm and dance." "A quiet fury of white feathers . . . " I was also tickled that we both chose to use transforming owls. I agree that feathers hold a certain 'magic'. Thanks so much for sharing your story with me and for the lovely PC!
Response: Thank you for your rating, skydancer. I appreciate the positive feedback. It was fun and interesting to see where our stories overlapped and diverged. I would love to do another writing swap with you in the future. :)
Comment: Your beautiful package arrived with the most perfect timing as this was a rather emotional week. The arrival of the crystals, beautiful photograph and bookmark brightened my week. thank you for your thoughtfulness!
Comment: I just absolutely love how this stone feels in my hands and it is so beautiful! I have actually never seen a stone like this before, it's so lovely! I have been looking for a good heart stone and I believe you have just given me the perfect one! Thank you very much!
Response: Your rating made my day - I'm thrilled you're enjoying my choice. :)
Comment: Hi Tasha! Fun to have a partner that shares your name!! I don't run into too many other Tashas and I'm willing to bet it's the same for you! Thank you for the lovely poem and collage. I loved how you alluded to the autumn leaf as a "flower of a different season." Beautiful! Thank you!
Comment: I loved all of the cards that you sent. Thank you very much. I would love to be postcard penpals, though I am not sure I could find such lovely cards around where I live. Are you in Oklahoma City? I will send one out tomorrow with one of my favorite poems. :)
Response: I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the postcards. :) I am indeed in Oklahoma City. I'm sometimes able to find art-type postcards at local bookstores, but I also get them online. No worries - I'll like any pcs that you send though, especially with favorite poems!
Comment: Thank you so much! I really liked your letters, I will write back soon. :) Hopefully you'll like me too, haha. By the way, do you know that your surname means lover in Dutch? <3
Response: I'm so happy you enjoyed the letters! I'll look forward to hearing back from you. :) I did know about my last name - my husband is actually from South Africa (not sure if I mentioned that in my letters :D). :)
Comment: I always love your mail art, and thank you SO much for the lovely poem. I was shocked to get something I enjoyed to this degree. I will definitely be keeping it somewhere safe. Do you write zines, by any chance?
Response: Thank you - your comment completely made my day! :) I've made a small handful of zines, plus currently working on a poetry one for a swap. Soon, I'd like to do more themed zines (with a combination of art / poetry / prose within the theme). I'll send them your way when I do (if you'd like?). :D
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful postcards. I especially loved the poetry you shared! The cards were all lovely, a nice change from the tourist cards, and the stamps were great as well. Where do you get such unusual stamps?
Response: So happy you enjoyed my choices for you! :) I get the stamps through a man who does monthly subscriptions & one time orders. He charges the actual stamp amount plus 46 cents for his postage to mail them out. You can go with a random mix or choose themes. (For example, I recently asked for nature / animals, letter-writing / mail, and writers / artists.) :)
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful writing with me. I enjoyed both stories very much, the first for for being enchanting and hope-filled ("find what is bright" sent a tingle down my spine), the second for its beautiful sadness. Both stories made me feel for Sadie deeply and you create such a vivid picture with your writing. I loved it! Thanks again and have a lovely weekend.
Response: Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed my writings. I would love to exchange stories with you again in the future. :)
Comment: Thank you, I enjoyed reading little snippets of your life. We have many similar interests... nature, reading, gluten free foods :)
Response: I'm happy you enjoyed. :) Cool about the overlapping interests! We've been gluten-free for over a year now, but we've recently discovered that my daughter also needs dairy & corn free. Food adventures, wah. :D
Comment: Thank you so incredibly much, sweetheart. Your package was so thoughtful and amazing, and all that tea...! I have no words. <3 You're the best.
Response: Yay! You're very welcome. I'm so happy you liked my creations for you. It's been a tiring stretch here (tornadoes through my city last night) and it sincerely brightened my day to read your rating. :)
Comment: Wow! I couldn't figure out what my favourite song was either, but I ended up choosing just one. Thank you so much for sharing your favourites--there are a bunch I haven't heard but they sound interesting.
Response: Thanks for your rating; I'm glad there was some new material / words for you to browse through. :)
Comment: Thank you, very energetic zine! I like that you worked with a colour palette and text so much, your own writing. Let me know if you want to swap, I am doing this series ongoing.
Response: Thank you for your kind rating. :) I would love to swap! I'll be doing more seasonal zines to continue after my spring one, but I have some more themed ones brewing in my mind too. Do you only swap mini-zines or larger too?
Comment: Tasha, Nice job for your first one!!! You don't have to staple them, they stay together just fine. I love how you made and decorated the envie too. You can make ones with more pages just by setting one inside the other...just need to watch for the sequence of the pages if your zine depends on that. Thanks again, Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Thank you for your rating & the helpful tips, Sherry. :) (Oops on the staple! At least it was pink? :D)
Comment: I loving my miracle book! A unique and dear special treasure. It is going on display in my living room, where I can see it everyday and sample its joy. Thank you a hundred times for swapping with me. I LOVE your book!
Response: Yay!!! Really, really happy that you liked it.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful Mary Oliver poem, I'm not sure that I've read it before although I read a lot of her poetry. The two note cards are lovely too and you note very cheerful. You made the day, alright!
Response: Super-happy to hear that it did indeed make your day. :)
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! You are so sweet to do a Smashbook for a friend. I've debated several times if I would actually use a Smashbook, mostly because I cringe at the idea of permanently pinning down things. Convince me?
Comment: Your mandalas are wonderful. I'm not sure which one you weren't happy with but I love them both. The vellum overlays are very cool.
Response: Happy to hear this! I was having a hard time with myself over the balance between busy & plain, but finally decided to just focus on the positive intent of the project. I was seriously about to do a third one because three's a charm or something, but decided to just let them be free already. :D
Comment: Thank you for the postcards, Tasha. And Kudos to you for re-reading the swap description! Because I am amazed at how many postcards that I'm receiving for this swap that are not written according to the posted requirements. Hearts to you for caring to re-do your pc BEFORE sending even after you already had a pc written out for me. Thank you for sending both of them! I loved reading about your day. It sounds like many of us are experiencing sunny but chilly days, too. Sounds like my weather! :)
Response: I'm happy that you enjoyed the postcards. :) (I'm glad I re-read too. I would have felt beyond sheepish if I had to resend to everyone, oh my!)
Comment: Seriously, Tash- you have a way with words- wow!! I LOVED the package you put together for me from start to finish... simply amazing! I am inspired (and I love being inspired) My mail is a work in progress and nearly finished, so it will be en route to you soonish! :) Thanks for sharing so much of life with me!
Response: Thank you for your kind words; I'm completely thrilled that you enjoyed it! Very much looking forward to yours. :)
Comment: the journal is wonderful and beautiful--- and wonderful timing--- i was just thinking i needed a new one --- and yours arrived! how marvelous! the poem is filled with so many lovely mind pictures--- i have rewritten it on the first page! thank u so VERY much
Response: Thank you. :) I'm completely thrilled that you liked my creations!
Comment: Tasha -- thanks so much for the poems. Love both cummings and Oliver and wasn't familiar with either poem. I think your poem is very good, one of the very best I've ever received from a swap-botter. You must write quite a bit of poetry.
Response: Thanks for your kind feedback, June. I'm happy that you enjoyed my selections, and especially touched that you liked the one I wrote. :)
Comment: Thank you so much! I really appreciate you sending it for my son. He had a great 3rd birthday!!
Response: Happy they arrived! Glad to hear that your son had a good birthday too. :) My 3 year old keeps asking, "Are those my birthdays?" when he sees any wrapped holiday pressies. His birthday back in September obviously left an impression. ;D
