Comment: Thank you for the great cards! You had me at the card of the Louvre! :) My Grandma visited Frankenmuth in Michigan many years ago when she visited family and did some shopping there too - she got a kick out that area and my Grandma LOVED NY City. I have never been to NY, hopefully someday! Thanks again and have a great day!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed them! Thx for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! Yes - London! I've only been once and it was fun. So much history and plenty of things to do. My favorite, honestly, were the people. Interesting and a joy. We had a great time. I hope you get to visit someday.
Response: Glad you liked the card and lucky that you have been. Thx for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the fun postcards - I have never seen a Breaking Bad PC - that is so cool! I paint rocks, so the rocks with happy faces is fun and I love the art card and the whale card - nice choices! I hope all is well with you ! Take care and be safe.
Response: Glad you like them. We have rocks painted in the neighbourhood so when you go on walks you see them. I think they call them care rocks. Thx for the heart
Comment: Hi Cathy! Thanks so much for the awesome CA pc and the others as well - I love them all! I apologize for the delay in rating, I could not figure out what swap it when to - sorry! Wishing you all the best and please stay safe! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: I must have not put the swap name on. Sorry! but thanks for finding it! Thx for the heart.
Comment: Thanks for the great selection of cards you sent for this swap which just arrived today, over a month since you sent it! Mail between our countries is worse than ever, I guess due to the pandemic. Anyway, I especially love the portrait of a young QE II, the borzoi dog & the repro of the vintage Halloween card. Nice notecard too! Thanks so much.
Response: Glad they finally arrived! Enjoy! Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the very nice cards & for including a bonus one! The Charing Cross subway map is cool. First time I've seen one of those "Animals on the Underground" series. And Tobermory looks like a place I'd love to go kayaking.
Comment: I *think* this was from you for this swap. I received an empty envelope that had been destroyed by cookie monster with an apology from USPS, but the addresses were intact. Swap was sent on time and its destruction, while sad, was definitely not your fault. Thanks for the swap, and please let me know if we were partnered on a different swap and this is the wrong one. Have a good rest of your week!
Response: Yes it was from me. That is really bad! They should have at least sent the cards (damaged or not).I will resend you some cards and hopefully will arrive peacefully!! Thank you for the rating
Comment: Always enjoy a lighthouse tour. I like the stories of the life of a lighthouse keeper and the families. We did an Oregon/California coast tour and each lighthouse had a stamp we could get in a lighthouse passport. Did they have this on the Lake Erie tour? thanks for the great card.
Comment: Hi Cathy thank you for the SeaWorld Dolphin PC. I've yet to see the whales in the wild but they are definitely there! I'm never in the right place at the right time :) Also, thank you for using the Bear postage stamp..I am in love with these ones Happy August swapping peace love light
Comment: Thanks for the really great PC and your note.
I want to take a month, rent a boat, and cruse the Great Lakes to see all the lighthouses. I think I should find time for that glass-bottom boat too.
Response: What a great vacation that would be! thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the vintage 'East Pine Bridges 'postcard
unfortunately it is a bit damaged by the postal system, but no worries it fits perfectly my collection!
It's always a pleasure to hear from you.
Have a lovely day !
Response: Sorry it was damaged. Maybe as it was so thin??? Happy to send another bridge if you like.
Comment: Thank you, Cathy. It took me a while to determine which swap these were for as you neglected to mention the swap name. Love the crocodiles, the stamp collage & the map card. And that compelling portrait of the Pakistani girl has haunted me ever since I first saw it. Thanks for sharing some extras as well & for those great stamps on your envie.
Response: Thank you for the Heart
rating and sorry about not putting the swap name. I have done that a few times with the envelope swaps and need to remember better.
Comment: Thank u Cathy so much. I love Disney world too I haven't been since 2006 and would love to take my son and hubby neither have been. Thanks for the pretty card with some of my fave characters. Once upon a time I had their autographs too in an autograph book. Take care.
Comment: Thanks for the great card. New arrivals at the zoo are always a great attraction. Edinburgh Zoo has been trying, totally unsuccessfully to breed pandas they ' borrowed' the breeding pair from China. For the first 2 or 3 years we had daily reports on national TV on the state of play. They even showed a motorcycle courier hot footing it to Manchester with a blood sample to test to see if the poor panda was ovulating and should be introduced to the male! Any way pandas had the last laugh and refused to cooperate. They tried IVF and that didn't work either... So now the pandas are being left in peace!
Response: Wow! They will probably have a baby now that there is no stress!!
Comment: Thank you, very pretty card <3.
It's always bad how the stamp prices raise, but, the dragonfly and bumblebee stamps are really beautiful!
(This was the resend, and I'll let you know if the original arrives some day :)).
Comment: Fabulous card thank you ♡ For some reason I really didn't even realise there are other aboriginal Canadians than Inuits in Canada! Silly me, alas, I educated myseft by Google a little. Thank you ♡
Comment: Thanks for the post card showing the Canadian Museum of History. It reminded me of the new V&A museum in Dundee which will be formally opened later this week. The big difference is that the sun doesn't often shine in Dundee! Best wishes
Comment: Thanks for the delightful post card. I loved the way Prince George was balancing on what looks as pile of books. When I was 8 we were one of the few families in the area that had a TV. My parents crammed about 15 people into our fairly small living room so they could watch the Coronation. The only thing I remember is that it poured of rain! Best wishes
Comment: Thank you for the awesome Hermione card, I love it! Good luck with your decluttering and organizing. It's an ongoing project here. I have charity orgs call and schedule pickups regularly so I have to get out boxes and run around the house filling them up. ;) Have you watched the Mari Kondo documentary yet? I want to watch it for more inspiration. Hope 2019 is lovely for you!
Response: Thank you for the heart. the decluttering is going great. So many boxes and bags for charity. I've seen a bit of Mari Kondo but don't want her to influence me as I am on the right track. haha. Have a great day. ch23
Comment: I agree so much, orcas should be free. Did you see the documentary about them? I know it has helped make positive changes for their care. There is a lovely aquarium in Atlanta with whale sharks in a ginormous tank. I want to do an overnight there bc you can sleep by the tank. Thanks for the lovely card and inspiration of thinking of sea creatures! :):):)
Response: Thank you for the heart. I saw the show Shark Tank awhile back and it showed that Atlanta aquarium. I almost fell over! I want to see them! Have a great day.
Comment: Thanks for the Starwars post card. I haven't seen the latest in the franchise but very much liked the early ones. I was brought up on Dan Dare and also the early Dr Who with William Hartnell or Patrick Troughton. I also love watching repeats of Quatermass ànd the Pit. However many times I see it end up hiding behind the sofa!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely museum postcard, Cathy. I agree with you that the beautiful building is spoilt with the glass addition. The attempt to modernize it like that makes it look out of place. Nice stamps too.
Comment: Hi Cathy! I got your postcard today and I love it! One of my many dreams is to visit Canada :) I also loved Star Trek post stamp, I never seen one, but now I am totally determined to look for them so I can put them into my stamp album haha!
Response: Glad you liked the card. The Star Trek stamps came out a few years back but my post office still had some. They also issued postcards!
Comment: Loved the holographic PC. I had never received one before and this is the second one I received today! I've never been to Niagara Falls but know several people that have gone for honeymoons! I hope to go one day, I love "magnificent" nature. Thank you!
Response: glad you like it! NF is truly magnificent!
