Have a wonderful Easter and hope your enjoying the Spring that we are having. Barbara /bearnbabs
Comment: Thank you for the great letter. I also have a son named Tucker. :) I really enjoyed reading about all that you've learned from your grandfather--that's really great that you have that now. We also are praying for a move, so I will pray for yours as well. Sounds like we both have the same exact dream. I'd love for you to keep me posted and let me know when that works out for you. Good luck and happy harvesting!
Comment: I apologize if you felt I called you names. That was not my intention. Although I didn't appreciate your foul language in my email, I've decided that you did finally fulfill the swap req's and even sent extra to make up for it, which I appreciate. Even though it was a month late, I've decided not to be the "meanie" and ruin your good rating, because in fact you did email me eventually. I personally feel though if you seen where your pc had failed you, you could have asked to get a ride so you could have either dropped from the swap or PM'ed me then, so I could have had the heads up on what was going on. Thanks again. I love them.
Response: I have re-sent to make up for the lost in transient socks. I sent you the DC# so you should get them soon:) SORRY! I hope you like them cause I sent 3 pair instead of one to make up for all the confusion. I would appreciate that you wouldn't call me names both on my profile & in your messages as I would never do that to you. I am sorry that my computer crashed but as soon as it was fixed I sent you messages to which you never responded. I agree that flakers suck but I am not one as my profile attests to as I have even angeled swaps. I am sorry for using the word bull**** in my email but I do think that saying someone is a liar & a flaker is calling names. But hey its over & done with so its time to move on. Forgive & forget is my motto:) I hope you do like the fuzzy socks.
Comment: Hey Girl! I really love that red eyelash yarn! That's really going to add some jazz to the scarf. I really like those two popcorn yarns too. Thanks so much for all the colors and textures and the thought that you put into this swap- can't wait to see the end product! Jen
Comment: Wow! Thank you so much! I got the package this morning! I have to say I have a secret love of the Amish way of life so I was really happy to receive everything. I am even more determined now to save up and go visit!
Comment: LOVE THE PINK RIBBON FABRIC - will use in a quilt I am making to donate to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. The buttons are great for my crafts and all the teas - most are flavours I have not tried. Thank you so much for a great profile treat and a wonderful letter. You deserve a ton of hearts!!!
Comment: I don't know which I enjoyed the most, the fabric or the card. It is one thing to send our fabric to one another, that tells alot about us. But to share our lives with one another is a very personal and unique thing, I cannot express my joy in being able to share in your lives. Aren't you are Blessed with children and other family members. There is nothing like coming from large families, I loved it! May you richly be Blessed from the lover of our souls, Thank You
Response: Thank you! I am so glad you like the fabric & card. Yes, we are very blessed with our 6 children & I wouldn't.change it.
Comment: Thank you so much for a wonderful package. I wish I could give more hearts. I absolutely love everything!! I feel the same way about animals. They are precious and should be taken care of. Go Steelers! Thank you.
Response: I am so glad you like the items I sent. I agree, God gave us animals to take care of, just like children.
Comment: Thanks so much for the very nice FQ's. I especially love the tomatoes! Thanks for the patterns and the very nice note. I too love listening to the birds chirp early in the morning. Thanks so much!
Response: I'm so glad you like them & I, too, love the tomato fabric. I'm always on the lookout for the realistic fruits/veggies fabric at the store.
Comment: Thank you for getting "carried away" by adding extra rows to this VERY adorable and springlike dishcloth. It put a HUGE smile on my face in an otherwise glum week. The scripture on your note was welcome at this time too!
Comment: Thanks for this swap, Trina! I was a little confused as to why a European-only swap was coming from the USA to be honest... But the chocolate you sent me is exactly the same brand as the chocolate I received from my German partner - but different flavours. I look forward to trying the chocolate, thanks!
Response: I hope you enjoy the chocolate as a lo.cal school was selling them for a trip tp Disney World, its great! I joined without paying attention cause it was chocolate but how I got through is beyond me:) Enjoy!
Comment: Ahhh, I wish you could have seen my face when I saw all the cat fabric! I already have some sewing projects they will be perfect for. And I can't wait to try the mango tea. I just discovered the STASH teas from swaps and am enjoying all the new flavors.
Response: I am so HAPPY that you like the cat fabric!. I wasn't sure about sending it but I'm glad I did & that you can use it.
Comment: Thank you!! They're both lovely, but I *love* the green one! If you don't mind my asking, where did you find the pattern? Also, I'm making a St. Patty's Day one for my partner (green w/a shamrock on it), so great minds think alike. ;)
Response: I'm so glad you like them! I made the pattern up for the green one. I looked everywhere for a shamrock pattern and couldn't find one so I'd love it if you'd share yours:)
Comment: I loved the recipes cards and you sharing your Family St. Patty day traditions. I fix corn beef with potatoes, carrots, and cabbage and serve it with cornbread. Thanks for the fabrics.
Response: I'm glad you like them. I always "dye" my cornbread green without food coloring cause the kids get a kick out of it. Last week we had green eggs, green sausage and green pancakes for Dr. Suess' birthday.
Comment: Thank you very very much for the teas! It was such a surprise, because someone sent me a few Stash teas in a previous swap and I really liked them, and now thanks to you I've got even more of that tea to drink! :) I hope that you and your family will soon find that new home in the countryside. I also grew up in the countryside and I always loved that I had all those forests, fields and little roads to explore with my brothers and friends. :)
Response: I love stash tea, they have such great flavors. We say a prayer every night to find a house in the country.
Comment: As of 2/15 I have not received Trina' package which she said she mailed almost 3 weeks ago. I have not given her a rating.
2/24 - Many thanks for the awesome package. You were so kind to send as many as you did. You know they will be used for a nursing home afghan.
Response: I'm sorry but I really did send my pkgs. This time I used DC so I could be sure they were delivered. I'm glad you like the squares and I hope all the extra ones come in handy for the blankets you make for the senior citizens.
Comment: Thank you scarlett for the fabrics. I love, love, love the brown/blue fabrics. The extra squares are wonderful too. I have never seen any of these fabrics before and they will be great in my stash.
Comment: Wow...i just received this swap today. It was supposed to be sent out January 20th and I only live one state over. I can't believe the post office can be so inept... I am happy I actually received something even if it was late!
Response: I'm sorry I just sent you another pkg as I doubt that anything I sent out on that fateful day will ever reach anyone. I'm glad you like the resend.
Comment: Trina, after receiving your parcel in Dec., you were notified that it did not meet the Swap Requirements. I have received your 2nd parcel today! Thank you for re-sending the additional items that were required for the swap, appreicate you doing this to make up for the 1st parcel. Thank you again, the items were lovely. Trust you & your Family had a wonderful Christmas...wishing you Blessings this coming year! Debbie :)
Response: I'm glad you like them. I just redid all the items for the swap, instead of just the ribbon I was missing and the couple of inches I was short on the fabric. It was just easier for me. I hope you have a great new year! I also think it is very petty of you to rate me a 5 but to make sure you add a bad comment about it.
Comment: Thanks so much!! I am being good and haven't opened my present yet. I will wait for the 25th. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Jackson says hello and I will say a prayer for your dear Buttons.
Response: I'm glad you like it and let me know what you think when you open. I hope Jackson has some nice sweater & coats to keep warm.
I hope you liked the goodies?
Comment: Thank you very much for the great assortment of Christmas charm squares. They are lovely. I am very fond of the blue trees and ornaments in the forest. Thankyou for the card and nice note.Merry Christmas!
Comment: The card is great! I will put a photo in it and put it up with all the rest of our Christmas card display. Thank you for the super fabric. I am presently making a quilt with cat fabric for a cat loving friend of mine. This is just too purrfect for the quilt. Hearts and thankyous.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card. 6 children! Wow! What a delight, but what a job. My husband had 5 sons and together we had 1 daughter. They all came for a "Pig Picking" at Thanksgiving as did his 3 sisters , brother and their families. I miss is.
Response: The kids keep life interesting. Not quite sure what a "pig picking"is but its always nice when the family is all together.
Comment: I just love the charm squares that you sent. Thank you for the note. Sounds as though we share book choices, too. I will enjoy using these well selected charm squares in my present projects. Hearts to you!
Response: I'm so glad you like them & if you find a new author you like, clue me in!
Comment: Very very lovely fabrics. I love fall colours and it is so hard to find orange fabric here. The colours are just perfect. Also, thank you very much for the Hallowe'en fabric. I can certainly put that to use.Thank you so much.
Comment: The recipes you sent sound yummy!!! Can't wait to give them a try:) Thankyou!!! Although you did not totally abide by the rules of this swap I am still rating you a 5 because you sent such nice recipes and even sent an extra:))) They were supposed to be written or printed onto nice recipe cards and you wrote them on 3x5 colored index cards instead. No problem though....no big deal for me to copy them off onto my own recipe cards:) lol.
Response: Sorry, I don't even know where to get them so I guess I'll just stay out of recipe swaps, no sense in getting others upset with me
Comment: I love the fabric you sent and especially appreciate the extra watermelon fabric. It's just perfect. You only had to send a fat quarter and you sent 1/2 yards. Thank you so very much. I will be sure to put the red & green to good use for the quilts for the babies in the NICU and PICU. I have something else in mind for the watermelon fabric.
Response: I'm so glad you like the fabric & its great that you put your talents to such good use. If you ever want to do a scrap fabric swap let me know?!
Comment: WoW! You super stuffed this one! This is the best I have ever received! You really outdid yourself here, Thank you so much, I am enjoying every single thing you sent! Trina, you are the Swap-bottiest! xxxooo
Response: I'm thrilled that you liked the stuff. This was my 1st fat envelope swap but it was great both ways. YEA!!
