Comment: Hi! so sorry for the wrong rating for wrong swap! It wasnt indicated on the mail so I assumed ha! But still, it is gorgeous work!! Cant deny your talent in it! 😉I love every bit of the design, thank you for the happy mail 🤗❤❤❤
Response: I always put the swap name on the back of the ATC. Did I forget this time? That's totally possible! LOL! Thank you for the awesome rating!!
Comment: Received your beautiful card today! Thank you so much, my favorite part is the lace-filled notch. That is so pretty, and I would have never thought to do something like me that! And thank you for the extras as well!
Comment: That sure took an unexpected turn! Although, this being my first Cooperatively Fictional, I wasn't sure what to expect. It'll be fun to continue. Great lettering on the envelope too. Thank you.
Response: Yes, I had to turn it another way as I don't know much about ballet. I prefer action and mystery. That's the joy of this type of coop writing. You can do pretty much anything you want as long as you don't contradict the existing story. Once someone write about fairies which is probably one of my least favourite genres. As the story was barely started, I made it into a dream! So glad to have you join. Hope to see you next round.
Comment: Best ATC ever! I love your mermaid and the background is perfect! You're so creative! Thank you so much!
Response: Best ever! Wow, that is high praise that has me grinning from ear to ear! Thank you so much! What a lovely compliment! Hope the lovely mergirl and her friends keep you company for a long time! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank You sooooo Much from Victoria and Carlyn ... Victoria shared her treat with her sister ... The ATC for sure went in Victoria's collection ... Happy Happy girls today ... YOU apparently did GREAT shopping for little girls ...
Response: It was so fun doing that shopping. Glad they loved it all. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you very much indeed for the bookplates you made for me. They are just my taste: one set is sciency, ornithological and hand-written in a delicious tobacco-brown ink; the other set includes an article about a certain de Broglie, a key figure in quantum physics. You are very kind to have sent me this swap twice, thank you. I'm sorry the first set never arrived.
Response: I think the second set ended up nicer anyway tho they used the same stamps. Glad I read into your profile well! Thank you for the heart!
Thank you so much!!! She will love it! I'm going to put it in an album for her when she's a bit older to understand. As far as her age mentality, she's about 4, so she doesn't understand right now, but hopefully she will when she's a bit older. Thank you again!
Response: I'm so glad you are happy. I'll get the other photo sent this weekend as my son will finally have time to edit it. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: ♥ Thank you for the creative ATC. It makes me want to go out and get myself one of those fusers. This was a fun swap for sure.
Response: The Fuse tool is awesome but if you have a wood burning tool it might be worth seeing if that will work or if the tips you can buy for the fuse will fit. Glad u enjoyed it. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I'm so sorry for the delay in rating. Last weekend in cleaning the storage room we found a bag of mail and your swap was in it.
Thank you so much for sending the envelope . She loves the stickers.
Comment: Thank you for the swap cards, they are very pretty. And I LOVED the calligraphy on the envelope. So gorgeous!!! Love the stamp too ❤❤❤. I don't own many stamps (yet) so it is a very welcome addition. Also, I had to laugh when I saw where your package was sent from - I sent a post card to a tiny village in Germany that arrived in 5 days and it took 9 for your package to travel 240 km 😂. Now to pull out my Learn Calligraphy book I've had for ages but haven't used...
Response: I'm glad you liked everything. Yes the post office can be a weird thing. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your life with me. I hope things work out with your son, they are a pain at times, but you still love them. And good luck with the weight loss, it is hard, but worth it. Happy Swapping
Response: ty for the well wishes. And Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Hi Rebecca - your mini pocket letter arrived today and first let me say I almost didn't open the envelope! Your calligraphy is just beautiful. And thanks for the sample you enclosed. Did you take classes or teach yourself? I took a class some years ago but have kind of gotten away from using it so this makes me want to get out my pens and ink and start making beautiful script! And your pocket letter was adorable - love the little girl image and the fabric alphabet stickers are so fun. And thank you for all the sequins and snowflakes and glitter - I shall have fun using those! Cheers! Laurie
Response: Hi. I learned the calligraphy from Instagram and from worksheets at thepostmansknock.com. So try it again, it's so fun! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely ATC! I loved that Basic Grey paper line. It was one of my favorites! I can't believe the beautiful lettering job you did on the envelope! I'm so impressed. Thanks for hosting the swap. It was great!
Response: I love my old basic grey papers. I'm so sad they aren't making them anymore. :( Glad you liked the lettering. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: What a gloriously beautiful letter you've written! Your calligraphy is just magical. Also, as it happens my own letter was written with large letters, and I made the same comment about learning to write smaller :). How about I write a letter back to you responding to your questions? I'll try to write at least part of it using calligraphy! Thank you for a spectacular swap.
Response: I'd love to write back and forth! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the fabulous cards, they are beautiful and I will save them for a very special use. Your handwriting is beautiful. I am trying to learn it. What kind if pen or nib do you use. Love it all! Hugs, Mona
Response: I use an oblique pen and a blue pumpkin nib. It's getting told tho which you can tell because the thin lines aren't as thin as they used to be. So glad you like it. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: this (finally!) came in the mail today and the envelope made me smile SOO big - it's just sitting out on my counter so that i can admire how lovely my name looks :) your journal is pretty awesome too (i LOVE the ocean and all things nautical!)
Response: I'm so glad it arrived! Yeah! I'm glad you like it and the calligraphy!
Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Hi Rebecca: Your layered stamping card is so beautiful! When I first opened it I thought was a a real greeting card purchased from a store it looks so professional and perfectly done. And that's a gorgeous stamp set you used. And thanks for the cute birthday tickets as well! Cheers, Laurie
Response: I just got a job as a professional card designer so I guess that's why it looks professional! Thank you so much for your kind words and the heart!
Comment: There are some very cool designs on your board! Here's mine, in case you are interested (just don't attempt to rate me because I was not assigned you as a partner! lol) https://au.pinterest.com/catlingmex/cake-i-want-cake/
Comment: I thoroughly enjoyed reading your answers!! And no worries about your wifi being on the fritz...life happens. Glad it's working again for you! I really like the sound of the book you are reading!! I even googled it so I can find out more about it and maybe even add it to my Book List!! Thanks for that! I hope you have a most wonderful and stupendous day!!
Response: Thank you for the heart! I appreciate your understanding.
Comment: What an amazing swap, thank you SO much. Everything is so beautiful amd such attention to detail. I am also very happy because I don't own this stamp so it was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful swap inside and out!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I was worried you'd expect more embellishing around her. I had fun painting her!
Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the *lovely* earrings! That is a technique on my "to learn" list!! I will enjoy wearing them. Your handwriting in AMAZING too!! Such a lovely envie. I appreciated the pink flowers as well.💟
Response: Just so you know, I found a photo of the first PC I sent so in case you were worried this was never sent, it definitely was. I always take a photo when I sent to a country I've never sent to before. Thank you for rating.
Comment: I just realized that I rated the wrong thing here! I was also in a B/W PC swap. I am so sorry. You should have said "Hey dummy!..."
This is a beautiful ATC. Marlena Deitrich? I really like the little stars in it too!
Thanks for the extras! Can't wait to use them!
Thanks too, for hosting this swap. It was a lot of fun!
Response: Glad we sorted this out and that you liked it. I have no idea who she is, the papers were in a collage pack. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: i wish I had your calligraphy skills! The way you did my name is absolutely stunning!! The fact you did the entire address that way is beyond me! It is amazing to see such a work of art in the envelope along, even the postman remarked on the writing!!
The ATC is gorgeous! I love the flowers which are stunning and all the embellishments!! Definitely going up on my ATC wall :)
Thank you so much for the extras too and the Ernie postcard!!
Response: I'm so happy you loved the calligraphy. I'm quite new but learning fast and I remember your envelope going quite well! I only started at the end of February! You should try it, it's not that hard if you are artistic at all to start with and you wouldn't be making ATCs if you weren't. Glad you loved the ATC too. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: No, the watercolor isn't lousy, it feels ethereal and I like it. Loved your envelope -made this swap feel special. I would suggest that you send atcs in a card or something because sending it as you did makes it more prone to damage. And I would hate to see that happen to such a lovely work of art. Thanks so much
Response: I'm so relieved that you liked it. I'll keep your suggestion in mind. I do send them with padding if they are more dimensional but I haven't had a problem with ones that are flat or only have sequins. I'm glad it worked out ok this time. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Absolutely adorable...thank you so much, Rebecca! (I love the vintage lace trim...I am a true lover of vintage laces and linens.) Thank you also for the sweet extras...I have plans, many plans!
Response: So glad you liked it!Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the suggestions for my profile and telling me about the coloring supplies! I have been using Stadtler Fineliner pens and Faber-Castell pencils, and I am definitely going to check out all the supplies you mentioned.
Comment: Thank you so much for the nice comment! I'm actually reading a book right now about the development of synthetic dyes called "Mauve" if you want to do some further reading on the topic, it is really fun and informative! I've never heard of sari yarn, but now that I've seen it I hope to get my hands on some of it!
I hope you have a wonderful end to the holiday season and a happy new year!
Response: You can get it on etsy. I can look up the names of the people I bought from if you'd like. Let me know. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I'm sorry to hear about the lack of support =[ If you ever need an accepting and supportive ear feel free to send me a message! I completely agree about the art supplies and their wonderful smell...and even the smell at the craft store. I think it brings back comforting memories from childhood <3
Response: That's sweet of you! I am trying to find a group of crafty peeps to network with. id love some more support for my blog. The link is above. Too bad you don't have one or id reciprocate. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Aaaaaahhhhhh! Thank you for the absolutely ADORABLE stuffie! It was so fun to open up your letter. My daughter is in love with the adorable donut but I am actually not sharing... well we both decided on a spot to showcase it in the house :p
Response: Thank you for the heart! Have a happy winter season!
Comment: Hi Rebecca! Your creations are just lovely! I actually made some of the matchbook notepads BUT that skinny card! WOW! What a beauty! I absolutely love that you made a little window with sequins and your embossed letters are lovely. I'd love to know how you made it. Your envie stamp is just plain neat! What a fun package--thank you so much.
Response: ETA: I've tried to make the link clickable but it's being stubborn for some reason---It's called a shaker panel. You cut a window and apply foam tape to the edges. You can either raise it above the project and create a frame to hide foam tape or lower it below your main panel like I did. dies help get you the best Results but punches can be used to or a craft knife if you are good with one. I use acetate from a craft company but you can buy it by the sheet at any copy store too. Several companies like Papertrey ink, my favorite things and taylored expressions all sell dies specifically for this technique. I have some examples on [my blog](http://eclecticendeavours.blogspot.ca/search/label/Moving%20cards?m=0)
Response: Thank you for the great rating. Funny, I've completely forgotten what I wrote! I remember the beginning as was sent to me but not my addition! Can you summarize it for me? Or just the beginning of my part? Ha ha!
Comment: Not all of the front pockets were decorated and all the rest except one are just print-outs, so I'm a bit disappointed. :( But I do realise it was your son who made this, and not you.
Response: Not all of the front pockets had to be decorated and if not decorated, they contained extras. And we did it together. I don't always decorate pockets with goodies in them and I'm pretty sure it wasn't required. It says to decorate the front, not every pocket. Thank you for rating.
Comment: Thanks for a very pretty altered card and sleeve, Rebecca. I love the THIN gold filament around the butterfly's wings . . . makes it seem ephemeral and in a land of fairies and magic of natural beauty. I hope we do more of these swaps! Thanks for the postage stamps---I can ALWAYS use those!
Comment: Thanks for two beautiful tags, Rebecca. No problem waiting for the second one--I'm just glad you were able to get another made. I LOVE Graphic 45--about as much as Tim Holtz! Hope you have a grand weekend!
Comment: Thanks so much for the send. It came a bit late, but seeing as I am in South Africa, some people don't know how much longer the postage will take. All forgiven thus ;)
Response: The requirement for sending is to send by the date listed in the swap. It isn't expected that people will send early to accommodate for longer distances because it's impossible for people to know how long ahead to send. Mail varies greatly all Over the world. I'm sure it sucks to get your mail late all the time but I deal with the same thing in Canada even tho I'm relatively close to most of my partners. I don't even check up on things sent to me unless they are over a month old for USA/Europe and 6 weeks for anywhere else.
Comment: What a sweet little lovely little binder trading card! I love the colors and the images you used. It is right up my alley. I just love displaying these on a ring with all of my other ones. There is just something about the size of them that makes them special. I absolutely love it, as well as the extras you sent! My favorite is the little paper bird. I don't know if I want to leave it the way it is, or paint it. It is soooo dear! Thank you Rebecca. <3<3<3
Comment: Your backgrounds were AMAZING! I love the layered UIEE one - with all the depth! And the modeling paste one is so super cool, too - I appreciate you sharing how you did them, too!!! <3<3<3<3<3
Response: I made some for m too since I liked them so much. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Adorable! Full of summer fun...exactly as I have come to expect from you! You always portray the theme in a wonderful way, and this sweet BTC is no exception. I hope you're inspired to join many more of these swaps!
Response: Thank you for the heart! Always a pleasure.
Comment: thanks for all the goodies
I recently went through the mail again and examined the match box you sent me.I looked at it the first time when I was in a rush.I WOULD LIKE TO LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MATCHBOX. BIRDS,MY FAV.IT IS ONE OF THE PRETTIEST I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE.I APPRECIATE THE BIRDIE PENDANT. I WILL PUT IT ON A RIBBON TO WEAR. THANKS SO MUCH!
Response: You're welcome. I like making things especially or people when I have the time and I started on this one early for once! I use a scoring board to make my MBs and have a YouTube vid on how to do it if you are interested. My channel is rebeccacell.
Comment: Thank you so much for the letter! It was incredibly detailed and I could tell you'd put a lot of thought into it. :)
Response: Yep, took me ages to write that! I read a lot of disaster/apocalypse movies whether by natural causes, virus or zombies so I've had lots of reference material even if it is fictional. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: In another generation children will not even know what a typewriter is, lol! Remember having to take typewriter lessons in school and hating it. Would have rather played with the power tools with the boys...Thanks !
Comment: I am so sorry it took me so long to rate you. Can you imagine we are living so close and I was so mean to you by not rating you until now =(. Please forgive me and maybe one time we might meet face to face if ever there is a meet up for all us Toronto and GTA members...lol. Thank you by the way for the wonderful comment my north on 48 hwy friend.
Response: I'd love to meet one day. No worries about the late rate. I don't keep track of such things. Too much other stuff to worry about!Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Your first answer made me smile: my daughter has a tattoo of the words "I am beautiful no matter what they say" on her forearm - "I am beautiful" one way and the rest upside down. We had the same answers for children's laughter and worms! LOL
Comment: Thank you :) Awesome I dont find many Walking dead fans on here. I cant wait till next season. Ik its so far away haha Have a great day!! Maybe we can do a private zombie swap one day or maybe a letter or two :)
Response: Sure, I'd be open to a zombie swap one day. There was a swap on here for ephemera left behind from a zombie apocalypse: maps to safety and supplies, missing relative notices, health notices telling people how to treat the infected, ration cards etc. it was a hoot to create that stuff! Let me know. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: First I'm honored you read my profile. Thank you. Secondly, love the friendship ATC, it is a gloomy day today, and it cheered me up. That you took the time to write to me, means a lot. I love my labels, and the other goodies as well. Many thanks and hearts.
Comment: Thank you very much for our nice comment. I will try to fill out my profile more clerly with your tips! I was little confused at the beginning, because i didn't figured out what to write but I think I have the clue now, I will let you know when I am ready for I private swap. :)
Comment: Hi Rebecca,
Beautiful ATC - are those micro beads you used?
I never worked with them...
Thanks for being a part of this swap!
Response: Yes, they are microbeads (not microbes like the spell checker thought!!) and I got them at Michaels, made by Martha Stewart. Look near the glitter. They have colours too but I love how you can see thru the clear ones. I tend to use liquid glue to attach them and be generous. Red line or score tape work too. But I like to seal them with a glossy dimensional adhesive like glossy accents.
Response: The due date was Dec 10 and I marked sent Dec 11. I explained that it WAS sent on Dec 10 but I accidentally forgot to hit 'sent' that day. Unfortunately, there is no way to back date the sent-by date. thank you for rating.
Comment: Omg! I just got home from driving 12+ hours! Ur doll tags are Stunning! I can't say enough! Wow! Love the hair& shading and that black tape! I need some! Lol! Hope you got mine already! Happy New Year!
Response: Glad you liked them. I was reluctant to part with them!
Comment: Hello Rebecca,
Thank you for your patience in receiving your rating. Thank you for your beautiful ATC that you created for me. It will be a great addition to my Book Page Series.
Comment: Thanks for the list! Although it was a tad late, I did really appreciate the email to let me know that you were having computer trouble :) Some really good tips, i'll have to try that LUSH scrub!
Response: Thank you so much for not rating me down for the computer issues! Glad you liked it.
Comment: Thanks for your beautiful embossing ideas.
I make textures with hammer and interesting things like cinder blocks. I'm just not budgeted for the cool machines. I love your ideas, though, and will be using them as soon as I'm done being broken of foot and up doing art again! Thanks for swapping! ;-)
Response: Thank you for the heart. you can buy embossing folders then use a rolling pin and lots of pressure to make them work if that interests you.
Response: Glad you liked the card. Sorry this package was nothing like yours. I've made the beaded snowflake ornament I meant to send but ran out of time and I'll send it with the next package I owe you, I believe a mixed media ATC. Sorry. I didn't deserve a heart and I do always strive for them.
Comment: Loved your lists and how crafty they are!! You did such an amazing job! Thank you very much! The Royal Family stamp is wonderful!! Happy Swapping! Sorry the rating is so late, it actually arrived here on Feb.10.
Response: Glad you liked it. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: love the pink & white alcohol ink, its lovely. What time and effort that was put into this. very creative. what is the name of the pink? I dont have it.
Response: They are Copic ink refills. 360+ more colours to collect! Oh dear, I am such an enabler! So glad you liked it. It's actually a light pink and a darker pink. R81 and RV19. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: What a beautiful first page! Now I'm super intimidated!!! x_x
Response: I'm so glad u liked it! I'm new to mixed media (though I did win an online challenge with one piece I'm really proud of!) and this one didn't go as expected so I'm thrilled u liked it! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Lovely mixed media ATC, Rebecca...I think I may have the vintage postcard embossing folder, and after seeing your ATC, I'm going to make sure I have it! Thanks also for the sequins...I do love the translucent ones, as they give a more subtle "bling". XXX, dear!
Response: Glad you liked it. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Rebecca, I love the way you used the tiny flowers for this technique. I must remember to use it as it is relatively quick but very pretty and really makes the flowers stand out again the beige background that works perfectly with them. I know this note card is going to be put to use for someone special very soon! Thanks and have a great week!
Comment: Beautiful ATC! - love the colors and the emblishments, especially the bit of netting added on the bottom. Great combination of textures too. Love it! : ) Thank you for the silver shell, I did add it to the center of the button. : )
Comment: I really loved the sweet card you created for me... the lace is wonderful, and the extras you shared... I will enjoy using all of them. That is a really pretty green glitter glue on your note :)
Response: Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the rating and heart. I didn't make the swap cards but its likely Stickles glitter glue.
Comment: I got your journal and I just have to say WOW!!! I can not put into words how awesome it is!! The creativity and time you put into this is amazing! I love how you used scraps, put certain real life things in it, and the little hide away envelope with the world war z ticket!!! Brilliant and the picture of your son...SO CUTE! I could go on for hours!! Its currently on my night stand and I read a few pages each night before bed! Your fantastic! You made my week!
Response: I'm thrilled you like it considering I put soooo much time into it. It doesn't surprise me you didn't read it all at once. Took me over an hour just to proof it. Really ended up being a novella! I thought the tickets were a fun touch! Thank you for heart. PS: photo isn't my son. A friend's kid but since we never see them anymore I didn't want the pic anymore and thought it was a good stand in.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely letter! I'm so glad to have had a chance to "meet" you and learn more about your life. You sound like an amazing, strong person and a wonderful mother.
Oh, and the envelope made me smile!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it and it wasn't too weird. Thank you for heart.
Comment: Oh dear-cleaned out my purse tonight and found your add music card-I've had the habit of sticking my mail in my purse before going to lunch and then looking at it while we are waiting for our food-hope I haven't had this one in purse too long-anyway great ATC love the colors and the birdie theme-my cats and I watched a robins nest out our window this spring-very fascinating the whole process-anyway again-thanks for swapping!
Response: Better late than never! Glad u liked it. I appreciate the rating and heart.
Response: Thanks for accepting my resend. Sorry for the messed up email. I always tell myself I won't join another for such reasons (on both ends) and yet I always find myself signing up for another. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks! I give you a heart for number 7 Wasting Away. I saw it time ago but I had forgotten. It was very fun and enjoyed a lot when watching it!! :)
Response: Thanks for accepting my resend. Sorry for the messed up email. I always tell myself I won't join another for such reasons (on both ends) and yet I always find myself signing up for another. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I really enjoyed your Zombie list! So thorough and entertaining hehe Lots of good choices! Thanks :)
Response: Thanks for accepting my resend. Sorry for the messed up email. I always tell myself I won't join another for such reasons (on both ends) and yet I always find myself signing up for another. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for a very well made and planned ATCI love the purple flower and the just perfect additionof the little lavendar button in the corner. The card's beauty (for me) is in the simplicity that makes the purple flower draw my eye to it. I often think simplicity can result in a sophisticated look. That's what I see in your ATC and love it! Hope you are having a good week-end!
Thank you also for the two little stamps that are perfect size for use on ATCs--I will definitely put them to work!
Response: Glad you liked the stamps and enjoyed the style of my ATC. I don't always pile on tons of stuff especially with a technique-y ATC. Don't want to overwhelm the main image. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: I love it...next time I try this technique, I'm going to attempt to use more than one color. What did you use to make the dimensional yellow dots for the flower center (can't remember if it's the pistil or the stamen, been out of school too long I fear!)? Can it be paint? I always learn something from you, Rebecca, and it's a joy to swap with you.
Response: Glad you liked it. It's called a paper pen by Viva Decor. Its a dimensional paint pen. They also have Pearl Pens that make Faux half pearls cheaper and in any shape you want. I get mine at Joans Gardens I think it's atjoansgardens.com
Comment: My apologies on the late rating, I promise you that I did not do this on purpose. My life has been so hectic in the past few months. I have been meaning to get around to all the things I have to do. I'm sooo sorry! Great Job and some great looking cakes!
Comment: Please do take a break! I like my profile just fine and it clearly states my dislikes....including die cuts LOL!!Updated: While i like paper beads....i most definitely do not like making them! so they are definitely NOT some think I like despite your instance that I do. Too Funny! A die cut, is a die cut & I don't like them. A check of my profile will tell you that. It does not say anything about "average" die cuts, it says I do not like die cuts. BTW, no where in your note does it say they were sent as extras.
I received your package today. I don't know what was on the beads, but it caused them to stick together. I was able to coax them apart with only minor damage. Though you specified as hostess not to send dislikes (scraps of paper & die cuts), I am still rating you a five.
Response: You may not like general purpose scraps of paper and die cuts but your profile DID say that you like paper beads and these were paper bead supplies (I even mentioned that in my note) so they were intended to be profile based and definitely NOT a listed dislike! In addition, these were extras, not part of the main swap. This rating comment is based on a comment I left for you a few weeks back.
I used clear nail polish on the beads and let them thoroughly dry before packaging them so I have no idea why they would stick together (humidity?) but I'm glad they separated. I've made the same beads in the same way before and they were fine. I'd be glad to send again if they are damaged. Just let me know. Another coat of polish may smooth them out.
ETA: I had no idea you didn't like making paper beads and I don't know how I'd know that! It isn't on your profile. A die cut specially designed for making paper beads is NOT the same as an average die cut. ETA2: I'm not insisting that you like them. Only that I couldn't know that you didn't and that they aren't the same as an ordinary die cut. And that your profile said you like paper beads. This is a crafting site and I had no idea you didn't enjoy making paper beads. Might want to add that to your profile! But these were extras after all! Give a girl a break!
Comment: Darling! Love the coordination of your embellishments too! Thanks also for the pass a long atc(what is it a silhouette of?). Thanks for hosting too -)
Response: Of course I coordinated my embellies! I even airbrushed my pearls with Copic marker cuz I had none that matched! The flower was a happy find tho. Glad you liked it. Sorry, don't remember which silhouette I passed on. Was it the one with bricks inside? Swap was just supposed to be a regular silhouette. When I commented that it was 'interesting' she got snarky (rude) and said I don't know what is hot right now. But since everyone's taste is different and maybe you know what's hot where apparently I don't, thought you might appreciate it. TY for heart!
Comment: What a pretty ATC, Rebecca! I love the way you added colors to the flowers.whether it looks like "mother of pearl" or not. You did an excellent job in my opinion and thank you for adding it to my ATC collection. Hope you have not only 4 July off but also the entire week-end!
Response: I'm a SAHM so holiday weekend or not, my days are the same but thanks for the wishes! Glad u liked it. TY for <3!
Comment: I'm actually kind of looking forward to bad days now! Ok, not really, but I am looking forward to opening more of the packages you sent. So far I've unwrapped the jewelled pins and they are sooo lovely! Even DH was impressed with them! Thank you so much!
Response: You don't have too many specifics on your profile so I had to do some guessing. Glad I did a good job!! :) TY for <3!
Comment: I forgive you for being from Canada,we all can't be perfect and be From TEXAS.I would have given you more hearts, but you didn't make enough comments and now weknow who all the nuts ae we can keep an eye out for them. o.O
Comment: I would not have joined this swap had I known that your gift would have melted in my mailbox. Please resend. It is 109 here today. Didnt you read my profile about not sending things that would melt?
Comment: I am going to leave all the chocolate I have on my counter in the sun, smoosh it into an envelope, and send it to you. We Canucks have to stick together. Thanks for joining my swap, now, move along. xo j
Comment: I would have joined but I heard the PO closed early so they could eat my melted chocolate, smoke around all the outgoing mail, and read some of the magazines. Plus I heard in Canada their quarters cost more than ours. Where is Canada again?
Beautiful card! What was the technique you used on the little hearts? I love it all!
Response: The hearts were coated with Liquid Pearls by Ranger. Incidentally they are both coated with the same colour. One bottle sat in the sunshine too long and faded while the other bottle came in a card making kit and is new so a deeper colour. Fun stuff which you can use thick and dimensional on paper, wood, fabric or plastic (heat set for fabric I believe, see bottle for instructions) or thin with water and use as a pearlescent wash or paint. Many people use it to make actual dimensional pearls which is cheaper than using self-adhesive plastic pearl embellishments but for that I prefer Pearl Pens by Viva Decor. They self-level creating a perfect half round dome shape while liquid pearls need to have the 'Dairy Queen swirl' shaped tip removed somehow (pin, toothpick) to get a perfect pearl shape. Store upside down to prevent air bubbles which cause explosive and unexpected sprays across your work. I pack mine along with Stickles tight in an old SU! stamp case which I store on its side. More info than you expected right? Ha ha! Great product to have on hand and cheap enough to have lots of colours. Glad you liked it. Thanks for the rating and heart.
Comment: This ATC is wonderful--I'd love to have the embossing card you used! The shading and blending of the colors is so nicely done. How did you do it--if you want to share? Thanks for a lovely addition to my collection!
Response: The embossing folder is by Brenda Walton/sizzix. I used only a small portion. Then I used a ranger/Tim Holtz ink blending tool to add distress inks. I was amazed how pretty it looked. I think I used milled lavender, spun sugar, antique linen and another brand green, PTI spring moss. Maybe Victorian velvet too? Can't remember. HTH. TY for <3!!
Comment: Rebecca, you must have read my profile as the blue background is one of my favorite colors, and I lover the muted butterflies, and the postmarks, the key, and metal message tag. I am not an Oprah fan, but the quote that is the focus of the piece is so true. Thanks for a great collage--are you sure you're a beginner?? :-) .
Response: I absolutely did read your profile! Very carefully in fact even tho that wasn't required. Did I forget to mention that in my note? Or did I forget to put my note in your package?? That would be typical me!! I hope you liked my metal tag which I stamped myself! I'm proud! This was my second canvas ever. You can see my first at my website, link on my profile page. But I use more mixed media techniques and products on my cards and scrapbook pages than I realized so it wasn't as far of a reach as I thought it would be. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks for the compliments and the heart
Comment: Thank you so very much Rececca for helping me get started with this email swap and rating. I had to really stop to think about some of the answers. It was a pleasure swapping with you and I look forward to swapping with you in the future.
p.s. I am a Goof! I was afraid that I had read your email already and had not rated you yet. I need to get myself UN-confused. I know your response will be great!
I read your answers today, 5/4 and really enjoyed reading them and getting to learn more about you. I especially liked your answer about "deceiving yourself makes you feel happier and guilt free". I am going to have to check out the Spoiled Swappers group. You really sound like a talented artist to create, enter contests, and win like you do. I appreciate hearing from you. Ellie:-)
Response: I'm thrilled with the 5 and the heart but you usually wait until I send you my answers! I'll get them to you soon!!
Comment: Beautiful and with so many different textures. Loved the stapled ribbon and notched card! Thank you so much. The extra ATC was beautiful too..so zen!
Response: I'm thrilled you like them. I enjoyed making them both. I am obsessed with the beach, shells, waves etc just wish I didn't live so very far away. I got new embossing folders so they inspired the Asian one. (By Spellbinders - two designs in one folder. Check them out!) loved swapping with you again!
Comment: I ♥ the simplicity of your design! So well done..as always. Thank you
Response: In glad you see the value in the simplicity. Others have not rated them as kindly lately, I was starting to think unless I collaged everything, no one was going to 'get' it. Funny since CAS (clean and simple) is such a hugely popular style in the cardmaking world. Thanks for the hearts.
Comment: Thanks for the cute matchbox and the the buttons and brads, etc. inside. I also liked how you packaged it with the cardboard framing. I'll definitely try something similar when sending my matchboxes in the future. Thanks!
Response: I'm very fond of my packaging for my matchboxes! Someone sent me one wrapped that way and I've sent every one that way since. Cheap, super easy and I've never had one damaged yet. So glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: You don't have to send anything further. I just wanted to let you know so that when you use them again you make sure to pad the envie, or at least use some cardboard to protect them from the postal machines :) I have a bag of crushed mother of pearl, so I was going to use them to 'fix' it to look intentional. *I love that you offered to make it right, and that warrants a heart in my book!*
Response: I'm so sorry. I use buttons all the time but they are usually plastic so it didn't even dawn on me to protect them. So sorry. Can I send you some new ones and glue dots so you can replace them? Or mail it back and I'll replace them. Sorry again. ETA: thanks for the heart! Of course I offered to make it right. I will protect them in future. :)
Comment: Thank you for the cute card! ETA regarding your response: Your message to me about being late with this swap was sent 3 days after the due date. I appreciate your honesty about being late and that you did mail it when you said you would, so I did not rate down. The ATC looks rushed to me. It's a green ATC blank with a flowered mat and two squiggly pink stickers at the top, and a little telephone stuck in the corner. The telephone looks hand drawn and is really cute (hence my comment). I understand you were probably running late and that's why it looks rushed, but I don't give hearts just because I liked something. I give hearts when it shows that the person put a great amount of pride and effort into their work. And a single mat, two stickers and an embellishment doesn't add up for me.
Response: Sorry you didn't like it enough for a heart. Response: I ALWAYS put LOTS time and effort into my ATCs. The phone is a stamp which I paper pieced, hand cutting it, using an xacto knife to trim under the handset and dry brushed to add shading. I die cut the squiggles aka rickrack, they are not simply stickers. I tried other embellishments but they all covered the pretty flowers on the background and overshadowed the phone or didn't match the colours. Sorry you didn't like the style of the stamp, it isn't hand drawn, but time and effort was definitely used on this ATC. I was not rushed when I sat down to make it and even made another ATC for another swap not even due yet so it could mail out the same day to save postage to my other partner. Shame you don't like my style. I just don't always pile tons of stuff on every ATC. I do appreciate you not rating me down for being late.
Comment: Thanks for contributing to my pc. I had not intended for there to be a theme or one color scheme but it is funny how things work out some times. I like the panel you did and the gold outline makes the leaves pop.
Comment: Wow. Just...wow. You set the bar very high, Miss Rebecca! The shaped ATC is the most intricately made ATC I've seen so far. It never occurred to me to do something like this...which is why it is a pleasure and a joy to swap with people who are more creative than I am! I can't wait to make the rolled roses, and the two extra ATCs you sent are, naturallly, fabulous. You inspire me.
Response: You are so very welcome! I have lots of intricate dies that make this sort of creation easy. So glad you enjoyed it. Just be careful, you might want to always keep it in some sort of holder as the flowers are very delicate. Let me know if you have trouble finding rolled rose tutorials and I'll find them for you. Enjoy!
Comment: Well worth the wait--Wow! Thank you for everything. I love the Recipe Card and the Recipe looks good for this summer. The Sprinkle Set will be quite useful since I got a Cake Pop Maker for Christmas. And the Matchbox is adorable-I can never get enough buttons:-) Extra Hearts and a Big Hug!
Response: How perfect! I've heard about the cake pop maker but not seen one. Super cute. Enjoy!
Comment: Thanks for a very nice ATC with a piece of metal--I like the way you used the tapes to create the background and the metal piece is one I've never seen--I'd like to find some!
Have a great week!
Response: The metal was by Making Memories originally. Not sure if that one was by them or a dollar store knock off. You might be able to find them on eBay. Glad you liked it!
Comment: Thank you for hosting, Rebecca; I loved this swap. You chose a really versatile stamp, and all the items turned out really well. I wish there were more stamping swaps. Have a wonderful winter! Kathy
Comment: Thank you for the jewellery! The earrings are of a type which is new to me, so I'm very happy to get them. They're big and showy yet very light and don't stretch my ears which is very good. The bracelet is of perfect length and the style goes with a lot of my clothes so I can see myself wearing it often. I love the different little beads that give is a lot of details to look at. I'm very happy with this swap, well done, Rebecca!
Response: So glad u r happy with them. I took a course on Craftsy, Wire Wrapped Crystals and Stones, which taught me how to make the earrings. And I was careful to measure the bracelet accurately taking into account the clasp. Hope you get many chances to wear and enjoy them!
Response: Actually, it was about 13 hours late and I decided not to PM my partners because it would take longer to PM 13 people than to just get the swap done. Life just got in the way. Thanks for the 5.
Comment: Oh, wow...what an amazing ATC! I am a beader, and I swear I've never seen anything quite as teensy as these microbeads...and I want some! Where did you find them - at an art store, or a craft store? Beautiful job...this ATC is a treasure!
Response: They are Martha Stewart microbeads from Michaels. They last forever (but I used a coupon anyway). So glad you liked it. Tks for <3
Comment: Rebecca, thanks for two beautiful ATCs! I love the background and the simple splitting of the image to create such an interesting and easy to do method that I have never seen nor thought of. I'm going to be putting that method to use in future ATCs and many other paper art projects.
Response: I'll admit it. I have tons of strips that width left over from another project and I always use my scraps. This was a great way to use them up! Instead if cutting up a full sheet, I used the scraps as a design opportunity!
Comment: I love the notes and how they all fit together in one story, thanks!
Response: I thought it made a cool story. What I really wanted to do was make a mini movie where I would find the notes someone else left for me. No time when I could be alone to do it and not freak out the kids. And I'm not sure I have the movie making experience to do it. Then I'd send the notes to my partner along with the link. Oh well. Glad you like them.
Comment: One heart is not nearly enough for such a wonderful swap package. It was so beautifully wrapped and there are sooooo many truly amazing items, wow! You're a great swap coordinator and generous swapper. Thank you so much! (((hugs)))
Comment: Beautiful ATC! I love it! I like the technique you chose to try. I wish you had told me how you did it, tho. I think I would like to try it, too.
Response: The technique uses alcohol inks and krylon gold pen ink pounced on glossy Cardstock with a felt ink blending tool by Ranger. You can google faux stone for more detailed instructions. Glad u liked it.
Comment: Thank you very much for hosting this swap. You gave me an opportunity to participate in a project close to my heart and for that I am grateful. This is such a beautiful project- more awareness and more participation is the goal, really. It was a wonderful thing you did. :) It's fun to see what everyone did with their butterflies. Yours were great. Thanks for sharing. :)
Comment: Really enjoyed reading through your zine! There's some good artwork in there! Especially liked your garden flower drawings :) Special thanks for the cute little ice cream card you added, I'm excited about putting it to use! Thank you! x
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful bracelet and pretty box it was in. I love the needlebook, I never thought to put lace in one......have to keep that in mind for the next one I make ;) Thanks again!
Response: I actually entered the needle case in the waltzing mouse stamps blog party and it was chosen as one of the top three projects. I got lots of nice comments on it. I may make one for myself! Glad you liked the bracelet too. They were both fun and easy to make.
Comment: Thanks so much for all the cute teeny things!! This is my first matchbox-type swap (haven't yet made one though)!!! I especially loved the ducky charm and the satin butterflies. Looking forward to more of these - ♥
Comment: And another handful of hearts!! I think I assembled it correctly:D Looking forward to swapping with you again:)
Response: So glad you like them. When I sat down to craft, I wasn't feeling like making them but by the time I was done, I loved the time I spent and the results. I may have to make myself a chest like it!
Comment: I like the clean look of your blog. I don't remember getting a notice from you, but perhaps I overlooked it. I'm rating you on the link from your profile.
Response: Thanks for checking it out. I found this swap confusing so I sent my link to everyone. Maybe in your spam folder? But I found the email so I know I sent it and others received it. Thanks for linking from my profile link.
Comment: Very nice, thank you. The packet of seeds was a surprise, and very thoughtfull of you. THANKS AGAIN !!!!
Response: You're welcome. I wouldn't normally send seeds to another country but someone sent them from the USA so I can't plant them here in Canada. I hope the bloom beautifully all summer. Glad you liked the ATC. I worked hard on the colouring.
Comment: I liked reading your answers :) But I gotta say u dont know nicholas sparks?? He is my favorite author :) most of his books are turned into movies... Such as: "A walk to remember", "The notebook", "the last song", and "dear john"... Well happy swapping :)
Comment: Thankyou Rebecca for the lovely creative winter themed Gift Card Holder. I love the snowman one, it's cute, the blue one is pretty. Thankyou, Rebecca for the template to make one and for the lovely card, congratulations on your special little boy, love Jennifer
Comment: Thanks for the letter! We have a lot of the same things in our lives to help us cope-- cats, crafts, and church! And I have 3 sons, too. Good luck with your pregnancy-- I'm glad to hear it's going well so far.
Comment: Hello Rebecca,
Thank you for your creative Sewing ATC. I really like how you used fabric, button, and a felt flower for this ATC. I also like the saying that you included on the ATC. I look forward to adding this to my ATC collection..
P.S. Thank you for the extras you sent along.
Comment: Most excellent recommendation list. I had NO IDEA that there was a free Kindle app for both my phone and my iTouch. I downloaded it immediately along with 60+ FREE books. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THAT TIP! I also downloaded Chicktionary - fun!
Comment: im so sorry i didnt rate you.. i didnt know that i can only rate one person because i didnt recieved the other atc's, thank you for the great atc's i love your cupcake atc.. it looks jummie :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the great book! I laughed at your note, I don't think we're that different, I love chocolate too, and pin-up girls are big in the roller derby world. Anyway, your book was perfect, I love buttons :) have a wonderful day :)
Comment: Many thanks for your suggestions. I already play Wors with Friends I love it, my name on there is Carolinex. I also love the Kindle app too, I have installed Chicktionary and the Mahjong App, and I really enjoy them. Again many thanks for your suggestions x
Comment: Thank you so very, EXTRA much, Rebecca, for taking the time to REALLY fill out this questionaire! Most answer in one word or so, not revealing much of themselves. But I got to know you and I really like you! You sound like a very interesting person! :)
Comment: Thanks for sharing, a little disappointed though that you were late for your own swap and didn't include many of your own points from the original description.
Response: You're right. I did miss sending photos of my boxes and organizing containers. I always check swap details before sending, even when I've written them. Except this time. I was so, sooo busy that day, sorry. However, I was only an hour or so late so for you to mention that is disappointing.
Comment: From one Dirty Dancing fan to another thank-you! your comment made me smile as for seeing Jennifer Grey on dancing with stars I didn't get to unfornatley but I believe I saw a few pics on people.com. She does look like she has the fountain of youth on her side eh?
Comment: Thanks for your comment and your kind words. My move is still going! It hasn't been too too bad..just alot of waiting away from my family, which is tough! In case you wanted to know my p.o.v. as a vegan, the reason I do not support horse riding is because vegans don't support the exploitation or use of any animal. Riding a horse is a form of exploitation as it is done solely for human pleasure through the use of that animal. It starts by having to "break down" the horse's spirit when they are young to have him/her let you ride them. I realize that there are people that do treat their horses wonderfully, but many others do not. There's a huge difference in keeping a horse/adopting a horse and keeping a horse to ride the horse, primarily. The horse riding business also promotes breeding and the death of horses ("euthanasia" or sold to slaughter factories abroad for their meat, for example) once they are too old to be ridden. Personally, I've never been a fan of it since I was a child - I always felt guilty thinking how uncomfortable it must be to carry such a heavy load on your back for hours and sometimes day after day. I also cringe when I see horses pulling carriages in mid-traffic all day long. There's also the issue that we can't actually ask the horse for permission to ride them, so I would rather stay on the side of assuming that he or she would not like it if I myself would not enjoy it. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, if you have any questions at all, feel free to get in touch any time. Happy swapping! ;)
Comment: One more thing in common, Rebecca. I also haven't made soap or lotion for a while. But I will have to make some, because our soap is used up. Hahaha, you just have to come and visit. The card you made is beautiful. We could do a private swap if you like. Thank you for the nice comment.
Comment: I received your wonderful matchbox and profile message today! Thank you so much for the cute stuff, and I just love the matchbox. I also like the way packaged it so that it didn't get crushed. Thanks again :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the ATC and the card. LOVE them both. Beautifully done. I keep looking at your wonderf ul card, love the brown chocolate brown you chose for the note card. Great embossed background - love everything about it. Then I look at the ATC... wonderful colors, background. LOL.. yes, I like them:)
Comment: Thanks...cute embossed mini envie. Can't wait to make the Apple Crisp. Sounds good. That will be later as currently making cookies and candy for the holidays. Enough is enough! Happy holidays to you and yours.
Comment: Thank you very much for my envie of Blue. I just love your swap-bot card too - the Chinese Brush of the plum blossom is beautiful. I've saved it to upcycle it on a card of some sort. And I love the post it notes -- too cute. I think that I will just have to share them with my daughter to use at work - for just a very fleeting moment I was wishing that I wasn't retired so that I could use them myself. lol. And I never have too much ribbon!! PS I forgot to say how much I appreciate you using real stamps for me to pass along to my friend. She will love them.
Comment: so interesting to get to know you through your answers, which were awesome! i agree with much of what you said/think & was intrigued by others! well worth the little wait! thanks for sharing! happy swapping!
Comment: such a delight :) where did you acquire the quote stamps? inspiring assemblage :) thank you
Response: I actually listed the stamp credits somewhere on either the book or the matchbox. I think they are from Verve stamps except one from Tim Holtz. His is the first one I think. Glad you enjoyed them. I use them all the time in place of a focal image or sentiment.
Comment: Beautiful ATC! I love her sparkly mask (hope your back is better!), it really works with the neutral background! I love the line of the stamp of the woman and that embossing technique looks fun! I'll have to try it some time : ) Thank you Rebecca!
Response: my back was better really quickly! THanks!
Comment: Just LOVE it! Thank you so much. I think it is perfect. It looks so much different than mine did! That is a wonderful thing about all the handcrafted items--no two are alike. Anyway....your attention to detail is MUCH appreciated. I love the colors and patterns you chose, and your shading of the edges makes everything look so vintage-y. Many thanks and I hope we are partnered again!
Comment: Pretty ATC. . . I felt the same way with my finished ATC ~ I loved the end result of the ATC but didn't think the ink gave a good impression, but it was a fun experiment!!! Thanks again for the lovely ATC and the extras ~~
Response: I used pigment ink and you must use a solid stamp to get a hood impression. Mine wasn't perfect but I used block letters and the polka fits I applied removed some ink for a cool look.
Comment: Just got your pkg! Wow, I just love the ATC. I was at a retreat all wk/end and am so inspired now to challenge myself even further! I loved it all! Those are the tiniest rubber stamps I ever saw, I love them!! You should get mine soon! Hope you like it as much!
Comment: Thanks for your comment. I value your honesty and understand your point considering my old swaps. My focus is indeed in those old swaps. That's why I decided to try to come back! I've been completing all that I've gotten addresses to send to - to those who still wanted to receive them - (you can't see the address details in swap site anymore when the swap is closed) - but unfortunately a bunch of them aren't active here anymore. I think that everyone should receive their swaps! So I'm not a flaker. I think my last rates and hearts tell their story too... Happy swapping :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely Victorian ATC's they are fabulous and I adore them. I would love to swap with you again! What do you think?
I think you must have sent me another ATC for this one and it is soooo wonderful! Worth 5 hearts with no extra stuff sent . Maybe I rated you for the wrong swap, let me know. i absolutely love your artwork!
Response: Please check your package again. I haven't sent mine yet! I think you may have rated the wrong person!
Comment: I love the beautiful cards! Unfortuntely the package must have got wet and the stamp that was on the paper leaked on to the cards and the envelopes are all stuck together. :( But thanks again for the great cards!
Response: Yeah, some stupid-head tipped over my mailbox, of course it had to rain! I alerted the PO and told them I wanted my mail back to check it. But they only returned the ones where the address was illegible. Sorry!
Comment: Yes! I'm flat out crazy about my grandkids and wish they lived closer. On the saw: wish I had a nickel for every blade I've bent or broken. I love the intricate work of flourishes and applique type work. Just fun! I call scroll sawing the opposite of sewing. Thanks for mentioning my volunteerism...means more to me than anything I do! Thank you for 'checking me out'. This has been a terrific swap idea!
Comment: Thanks so much for your matchbox it arrived today.....your so clever with the crochet attachments that's just too cute my daughter stole it straight away.....I hope your package arrives soon :)
Comment: Rebecca! Thanks for the gorgeous ATC. Your photographs are very clear and detailed, you must have a rockin camera!
Response: Funny thing is, that was just the macro mode on a mid-priced, but nothing fancy, Point and shoot camera. I LOVE macro photography. I now have a DSLR camera and I am dying to buy a macro lens!
Comment: Alise wants to tell Jameson thank you for the nice ATC's and since they are so beautiful I am very glad you are my partner. And Nonna (Italian for grnadma) says thanks to Mom for the neat extra -- I am going to laminate it and add a magnet so it can reside on our frig! Happy swapping to you both!
Comment: Hello Rebecca,
Thank you for the beautiful bookmark you designed and created for me as part of the "bookmark encouraging quote" swap. I like the varied embellishments you used to complete this bookmark. I love the quote you chose to put on the bookmark. It is one I need to read each day. I look forward to using your bookmark as space marker in a book I'm reading and then I can read the quote everyday. Hope we have more opportunities to swap with one another in the future. Have a nice summer.
Comment: Great ATC, thank you, loved the textures and raised elements, especially the sand with castle, pail, etc. And thanks for flower extra, how did you make it? And I always appreciate when the media used are listed since I'm always curious. Thanks again for hosting our "private swap," I thought it was a fun swap!
Response: So glad you liked it! I'm afraid I do a lot of swaps so I don't recall the exact flower I sent you but email me with a description or photo and I'll tell you! Rebeccacell at gmail dot com
Comment: This is my first Swap EVER on this site! It was a pleasure to have received yours! It's beautiful. I was anticipating on receiving my first swap in the email and yours did! Thank you very much! I hope I'm doing this right, lol!!
Response: so glad you liked it. I was fond of it myself so I was glad I made one for me too!
Comment: Hi Rebecca! Thanks for letting me peek into your purse! I chuckled a little when you claimed you had the most junk! You don't have a lot of junk, you're just PREPARED, and you gotta be, as a mother!! =P
Comment: The postcard arrived perfectly! I am babysitting my 4 yr old nephew today and he keeps angling the card back and forth to be able to see the sparkles. He thinks it's so cool! And so do I. Happy Sunday!
Response: After writing on the back of the postcard of my concern about the glitter, I covered it in glaze to keep it on. So glad he liked it!
Comment: Thank you. I love all the shades of chocolate you sent. It was a color I was lacking in the ribbon dept. so it came at a perfect time!! Sorry for the delayed rating. I was unable to check my PO Box for about 2 wks.
