Comment: Hi Twanette! Summer is flying by and I am not a huge fan of humidity either! I hope things are going better with the kitty bite - sounds horrible! This weekend was great fun - my son and I went to Tunica, MS to the casinos - he was a giver but I did ok and brought money home! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi Twanette! Thank you for sharing about your weekend and I hope you are feeling way better! We visited the Highline in NYC a few years ago- loved it and thought it was a great way to help go green! Thanks for bringing back some fun memories! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Twanette, thank you so much for the lovely notecard. You were right, I love the washi!
Here in Canada, it was chilly and raining (we even had snow mid-April) up until yesterday, when the weather turned gorgeous overnight! We're now enjoying summer-like weather for a few days before the rain returns :)
Comment: As always, wonderful to have you as a partner. Congratulations on your new car. What fun to read about your trip to see your bonus daughter compete in gymnastics. My great niece just competed in a regional competition in Dallas.
Comment: Thank you so much for the really thoughtful letter and I loved the goodies! I'm French Canadian and we celebrate Mardi Gras too. When I was little, instead of the King Cake, we were given marshmallows with a dried bean inside, and whoever received the bean marshmallow was the Queen/King. We definitely lacked the style of New Orleans! lol
Comment: Hi Twanette! Thanks so much for the fun share about your weekend! Hope you are still enjoying your new card! I was so jealous about you going to the National Postal Museum - I loved visiting it when we were in DC several years ago! My hubby is a mailman so of course we had to go! LOL! Sounds like a crazy busy weekend with lots of fun added in! Hope you enjoy this weekend as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Super to once again have you as a partner. So glad you didn't have any bad results from your squirrel bite. Did you get a new car? Just came back from lunch with my cousin and she was showing off her new KIA. Hope your weather clears up, from what the news said I'm glad I live in Southern Calif.
Comment: This postcard is so cool! I've never seen one like this with a bookmark attached! I have never been to the Grand Canyon but I'm hoping to go in a few months actually! Thank you for sharing (and thank you for joining my swap!) :)
Response: You are so very welcome! I’m glad you liked it and your swap gave me the opportunity to send it —- I always grab postcards from wherever I travel! Enjoy the Grand Canyon! It is just breathtaking. Even though I checked it off my bucket list there are LEVELS to it and I plan to get back there to tackle them.
Comment: What a beautiful swap! Thank you for all the Valentine goodies and sweets! You put so much love into putting this package together for me and I appreciate it so much! Thank you! Also, I'm glad that you sent the goodies in those hobby lobby paper treat bags. I missed my opportunity to purchase them, they were sold out by the time I went back for the bags. I went to a few stores and they were nowhere to be found. However, thanks to you I get to have a couple :)
Response: Wonderful! I am so happy you love and appreciate it. I too, wish I had picked up more than just the one pack of treat bags ... they are so adorable. I'm also glad you were its recipient ... I enjoyed putting it all together for you. Looking forward to seeing you in the mail!
Comment: Hi Twanette! Good to have a visit from you again and thank you for all the goodies! Very sweet of you! I am sorry to hear about SAD - a few of my friends have it as well - winter just gets to be so long at times! Both of them use some sort of light that seems to help, do you do that? You had me laughing about the essential oils cult - I think I maybe have become a convert to LuLaRoe, so I feel your pain! LOL! Thrift stores, finding pcs, books, life makes me smile and yes, there are times folks just don't get it! LOL! I think we are going out to eat for Valentine's Day - how about you? Planning to wear a pair of Valentine LLR leggings, we will see what the hubby has to say!! LOL! Hope to have another visit from you in the mailbox soon! Hugs, Happy Valentine, and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for your sweet note - How's everyone feeling at your house now? I hope your little guy is better and that you didn't get sick. I'm fighting a cold myself too, but I'm totally in denial about it. Here's to a healthier week! BTW - I got your postcard today too :)
Response: I am so glad you enjoyed it .. hopefully you’ve received week #85 already? Let’s see what week #86 has in store for us ... maybe you will be my notecard partner again?ðŸ‘ðŸ½
Comment: Hi Twanette! Thank you for the awesome card - hey a greeting card is just a grown-up nc! LOL! Love the stickers as well! Sounds like you were having a great time on your trip - anytime we can mark something off our bucket list, it a great time! We have taken a small plane over the southern rim of the Grand Canyon but never driven into it - I bet it was awesome!! Wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: thank you so much for the goodies you sent. I love your note-you are so sweet!! I am glad your back on the site, and here's hoping you don't get any snobs for partners. Thank you again for the swap! Happy Swapping. Booty Moo Moo
Comment: I asked at the post office if they knew why your note card would have been returned, unfortunately, it was my least favorite clerk who was helping me and he was of no help :( Thank you for resending this to me. It sounds like both of your weekends were quite fun.
Comment: Ahhh! Your envelope made my day as I was lamenting the swift passing of October and Halloween :) Thank you for the beautifully decorated/rubber stamped envelope, the delicious vellum/onion skin paper, your gorgeous and cheery font-like handwriting, the fun washi and decoration, and for sharing your heritage and Halloween plans with me :) I would love to experience autumn where you live one day... Welcome back to SB, and I hope our paths cross again soon ♥
Response: I am so happy that you loved it! Thank you for the heart, and yes ... I hope we cross paths again as well.
Comment: At this point, I have not received anything. This one is Bc these swaps are time sensative. The deadline for the next swap is today. I am going to have to make a new journal to join this one. I understand your weather circumstances; however, the deadline for my swap was several days before your blizzard and this is the second time ive had you as a partner and the journal been over 2 weeks late. I will change the rating once and if I receive the journal. This is the 3rd time ive got flaked on in this swap.
EDIT: thank you for getting this to me. I gotta get to my entry and get it off to the next person! Best of luck with the weather situation! :)
Comment: Still waiting on a couple things to come in, but I am going to go ahead and rate. Whatever hasn't arrived is the post office's fault (they've been bad about losing stuff lately). But I trust you c: Thank you for the letters and everything. I've really enjoyed hearing from you.
Comment: Thank you so much for getting this to me. The original send date was December 30th, and you marked sent on January 5th. You had to resend, which I understand, but led me to believe you sent it on or around January 8th, but it wasn't postmarked until January 17th. I'm glad that you followed through so I can stay in the swap.
Comment: What a sweet happy mail package I got from you!! It came at just the right time, as I have been feeling under the weather today. You have the neatest handwriting of anyone I have yet to meet! :)
Comment: Edit--- lovely glittery card!!! love it! thank you!Hello! Thanks for sending your card-- i havent gotten to open it yet because I moved to NJ last week last minute for a job. My mother is letting me know what mail im getting in TN and then will mail it all to me up here when I get a permanent address, I just wanted to mark this as sent so no confusion :) Happy Holidays!
Comment: Sandy did reach up into Canada but damage was minor. Limbs down and out of power for a while for my father in Southern Ontario. We just had strong winds here in Sudbury. I am glad to hear that you are doing well. Best wishes to you, your family and CT. Emily
Response: Thanks so much, your well wishes are very much appreciated!
Comment: Thank you for a lovely letter, will reply soon :) ps: love your handwriting, looks like a font ;)
Response: Thanks! Everyone always asks me if I am an Architect or Engineer because of my handwriting --- I am not particularly fond of it, but LOVE all the comments it receives! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Comment: I hate to do this especially after your rant in your profile, but deadlines are there for a reason and should be met or just don't join the swap.If the rest of us can do it, you can.
I really liked your card. 12 days after the deadline is just too much.
Response: Lucky me, I had a wonderful WEEK long (unplanned) excursion that took me away from my swaps BUT that did not stop me from notifying my partners or posting on my wall what was going on. Your "I hate to do this" along with the bulls**t ass "if the rest of us can do it" was NOT required. *IF* I knew I was going to be away indeed I wouldn't have joined. Save the pep talk for a child ... which I am NOT. My "rant" isn't to illicit any special favors --- especially from partners like yourself --- but know that I am a big girl and life will go on.
FYI -- THE CARD WAS MAILED 7/10 -- WHICH WAS 5 DAYS AFTER THE 7/5 DEADLINE ... NOT 12.
Comment: this is wonderful journal photo - and you were very good with the "journaling" that part I am not so good at I make picture and glue book and altered journals with maybe one to a sentence
hope you teeth get ok for you very soon (that is not fun) am going to read every word tonight
Response: Sheesh ... glad it finally made it to you! Hope you enjoy ...
