Comment: Hi Victoria ! I'm sorry I archived the swap because I noted in my notebook it was received. Please excuse me ! I give you a heart of course because it was a really nice swap. Your envelope is amazing ! Have a nice day.
Comment: Thank you SO much for the amazing swap! You definitely took care of my sweet tooth :D Haven't had salt water taffy in years, so that was such a treat to receive. Also love the postcards sweet tarts and everything you sent. Many thanks!
Comment: Don't worry about blind swaps - I always figure recipients should give a 5 no matter what, and if the sender went above and beyond, they should get a heart. I think a normal person shouldn't get offended at much, unless it is 'way out of normal human behavior. Some people decide to get offended at a lot of things; they are very hard to live with. Thanks - I like your cards! Not to worry!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great PCs for this swap. . . the Utah flag goes right into my collection and I am so thrilled to get a new flag PC - you made my day!! Thanks again and hope you have a wonderful week ~~
Comment: Thanks for beautiful, nice quality cards and an extra. I was a US history major in college so very appreciative of the Harper's Ferry card! Loving Gaudi and all his architecture of course the Barcelona card is my favorite!
Comment: Awesome cards!! Thanks for such a thoughtful package. I love the 2002 Olympic Card. I went to the 2004 Athens Olympics but I didn't pick up any postcards as I wasn't into this hobby yet - if I could only go back in time! Thanks again for some great cards ♥
Comment: Wow, you chose amazing cards that perfectly fit my profile! I am overjoyed at all the delightful Disney themes and that lovely Paris in the rain scene! Then your pretty map envie with cute washi and fun postage! What a great swapper you are! 100 hearts if I could!
Comment: I still love your envelopes! I know... trying to find pc's without writing on the front is near impossible - but - thanks for trying! I absolutely Love the ones you sent - They are amazing! Thank you So very much. Happy day to you.
Comment: I love the PC that youve sent! AND THE VINTAGE STAMP!! THE STAMP! I bought some of those and cannot bring myself to use them until Halloween! I thank you from the bottom of my heart! THANK YOU!
Comment: Ahhhh! Thank you for the great Royal Mail Alice card -- I had been admiring it in an old catalog :) -- the chevron washi tape, and Skylab and Fitzgerald stamps! So glad to find another Hamiltonian :D It's been months since I first heard/saw/read it, and it still gives me chills. Have fun at GGtLaM!
Comment: I LOVE that you studied Russia and the Cold War. My youngest goes to Kindergarten in the fall and I keep telling my husband that I want to take more classes on Russian history. He seems to think that 3 degrees is enough for one girl and I keep telling him that I cannot ever learn too much! Hope spring finds you soon.
Comment: hey EC!
Thank you for the Alice in Wonderland card! This is one I did not even have yet!! <3 YAY!!
I got into Reenacting by joining the SCA (medieval reenactment) Sca.Org
Then from there I met a Vietnam War reenactor and wasn't really into that time period but met a few others in his group who were WWII reenactors and BAM! That's when I KNEW that was my 'thing' :)
I am a cosplayer too (doctor who, Gravity Falls and Star trek mostly)
HUGS and Have a great weekend!
Comment: Postcard just delivered!
Thank you for the Cinderella pc too, very grateful - I love it.
Nice envelope and stamps you chose too.
I wish I had taken the same care you did for sending mine, but it was my 1st - I will sure do better for the next one :)
Comment: Loved the postcard! Awesome that you are a cosplayer - my youngest just started this past year. I am her personal seamstress/costume maker :) We have fun. About a year and a half ago she did a photo shoot of Zelda and Link( with her then boyfriend). She made Zelda's armor from craft foam - it worked for the pics but wouldn't hold up for actual comicon. She's been looking up about EVA foam and worbla - I may have to message you and pick your brain :)
Comment: Awesome awesome card! I hung it on my wall next to my husband's propaganda poster (erm, picture of him in dress blues that they made him take in bootcamp.) It looks nice, very classy and silly :P
Comment: I will send on this roving PC at the next Swap! Thanks so much for the beautiful Bullfinch PC! I didn't have this one so it will be a welcome addition to my collection! The envie was beautiful too! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: I love your card. It made me laugh, but why do you name your cats after diseases?
Response: I have no idea why it started... I was looking for a unique name, so a little black, long-haired kitten with a broken tail became Typhoid. A few years later, a calico-tabby rescue became Polio. They have unique personalities to go with their names.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I don't have any cats because my husband doesn't like them (I have a dachshund). I tease him I am going by the shelter and adopting a cat on my way home from his funeral.
Comment: Hi Victoria! Great Poland pc and hope you get to visit there someday! My dream is to go to Germany - our son & DIL is stationed there for three years, so keeping my fingers crossed! Hugs, Happy Traveling, and Swapping! ;)
Comment: What a cool PC, thanks! I also love the variety of stamps you used (never seen these ones before) and the decoration in addition to your note on the back :) I love cookouts! Though I could do without the lingering smell in my hair.
Comment: I love everything about this happy mail, from the cool postage stamps you used on the envie and the ones you added as a surprise inside, to the great washi samples and stickers, your sweet note, and the awesome vintage- style notecard you used! THANK YOU so much!!!!!!! ♥♥♥
Comment: Thanks. I love all of them. Petrus loved the stamps. He never expect any mail so it was a great surprise. We were just back from his army enlistment, so a big day for us and the stamps will be part of our day. Thanks.
Comment: Thanks for the darling card. That bunny looks like a marshmallow bunny and yummy! Love the cute Washi Easter tape. I can't find it around here. I must not be shopping in the right places. Thanks again!
Comment: Victoria! Thank you! I love the "ovm fungi" postcard! I have the boxed collection! I only keep cards that have been sent to me so I was super excited when I got yours! And yes it is a lovely card! And it did make me smile😊 best wishes to you and thank you!â¤ï¸
Comment: Hi there Victoria, thank you so much for the extremely cool card! I am delighted to be introduced to James Jean's artwork! I love it! It is too bad if other swap-botters don't like it, but that just means you can send it all to me! :) Have a great week, Cynthia
Comment: Thank you so much for resending this swap promptly, your second envelope arrived today. I really love all the items you sent. Thanks again ! I will tell you of course if the 1st envelope arrives one day...
Comment: This is a very late rating but I wanted to make sure you got your 5 and heart - it was well earned! Last March you sent me a fun package with some great ATC supplies, mini envies, a cool bookmark and blank pcs and notecard. It was a great package and I loved it! It was obvious you read my profile! Was also able to make fun use of the washi tape on the outside - especially the one with bicycles. Great fun, and THANK YOU!!
Oh - and I added New Politics "Harlem" to my work-out playlist. Thanks for the suggest!
Comment: One of the finest envies I've ever received in the mail! You are very generous and made me very happy! Beautiful selection, so well presented + three gorgeous bird postcards! + a handmade envie! I'm almost speechless!
If there is ever a swappers hall of fame: Victoria: you deserve a place in it!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty envie of Washi! I didn't have any of the patterns you sent me! I love that! And I LOVE the 'Scrabble' playing cards you put them on! Where'd you find those? :D it was a nice envie- thanks again.
Comment: Thank for the beautiful card. It was so nice and technique was so interesting that I had to google the artist and look at his work :) I hope you find motivation for that schoolwork :) I'm not a good person to give advise on that since I'm a major procrastinator myself and in school I always started projects at the final moment :D
Comment: Thanks for the card!! I think I want to collect them now as well! ^^
Very funny are the famous americans (that this 4 are mentioned because they are so different!! (Marilyn Monroe& Elvis, Pocahontas and Abraham Lincoln).
Comment: Victoria- first I want to thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Very kind and thoughtful of you. I love the postcard you picked out from my likes section! And of course you get an instant heart â¤ï¸ For saying hello to Paul the mailman. Thank you and best wishes to you
Comment: I love the food truck pc. It is a totally different subject. It would be fun and interesting to visit one if available in my nearby towns. I hope your mailbox spills over with many happy swap during the new year.
Comment: Hi Victoria. This is why I like this type of swap; when someone takes the time to read your profile and carefully choose things you will like. I really like every one of those cards - the B & W, the historical, the Van Goghs - and the portrait of Chagall!~ So cool!
Thank you. Many hearts.
Response: Very glad you enjoyed them. I love picking out postcards for partners. :D
Comment: Stunningly gorgeous, inside and out. Thank you so much, Victoria, for your creation. I agree, we DO have a lot and common. That's probably the reason why you were able to pick those awesome items for me. The postcards blew me away, they're almost too good to just go into my collection box, I should put them up on my wall. If you ever feel like doing a private swao, maybe including a letter - here I am! :P
Response: I'm so glad it arrived -- I was getting worried, for sure. After the semester is over, we'll have to talk about a private swap. Thanks! <3
Comment: Hello Victoria! Thank you very much for the postcard, I love it! You asked me about EuroMaidan... Well, I can speak about it for hours. But I want you to understand that our people were standing on the Independence Square (Maidan) not for Europe or our politicians. We were living in the extremely corrupted country! We had no choice and we decided to strugle for our rights because it was impossible to keep calm anymore. Nowadays we are facing economical and political crisis (well, we have been facing it for the last 10 years, so it isn't new for us). Russia wants to split Ukraine because crazy Russian president still wants to control us. What is more he wants all the world to be affraid of him. Yes, we are emotionally devastated because of all the talks about war and all that lie (informational war). But Maidan revived Ukrainian dignity. I have always been proud to be Ukrainian. I love Ukraine! We all love our country and we hope for the better! Best wishes! Katya :)
Response: Thank you for your response! :] I'm glad to hear a Ukrainian perspective from the source. I don't speak Ukrainian, so all of what I get is translated through "PR." I've been watching what's been happening since December -- I'm happy to know that Ukraine is regaining its dignity. :D
Comment: Hi Victoria, this was fabulous Thankyou! I loved the ATC- it really appealed to my sense of humour, using images of real people/vintage with a saying/words. I also loved the envelope & would love to know what you used to make the gorgeous colours, & finally, a perfect extra for me - vintage ephemra that I love & don't have. Big big thankyou!,,
Response: Hi, there! I'm glad you liked it. The envelope is from paper out of an origami set, then dabbed with alcohol ink. I'm glad you liked it all!
Comment: Thanks! I have the same box of cards and it's the first place I look if the swap calls for something ugly/tacky/bizarre. A lot of the cards do nothing for me, but some of them are really creative, funny, or just plain weird. If they came out with a second set I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Comment: Thanks for the nice ATC and for the story about your quilt. I just turned 65 and I have the crib quilt that my grandmother made for me. It wasn't used that much and looks wonderful. My favorite.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful postcard. :) The page you sent... started out horrifying (even tho I'm a lover of rat/things)... but smiled soon enough and then I laughed out loud. Great page, I might have to look up the book. Thanks!
Response: It's quite amusing. I hope you enjoy it if you decide to check it out. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the nice postcard. I live in Utah and have never been to the Golden Spike National Historic Site. Thanks for sharing something new with me!!!
Response: If you ever get the chance, you should really go! It's pretty cool to see and it's free on May 11th, as that is it's anniversary. They have a cool re-enactment and everything. Oh, and do you sell your chunky charm bracelets? I think they're about the coolest thing I've ever seen!
Comment: WOW! Thank you so much. I am sitting here surrounded by "love from Utah". I love all this stuff! So many PC's, pennies, socks, candy, stationary items and salt from The Great Salt Lake! But where's Donny????? :) Big hugs my friend and MANY hearts, and we can do another one come spring, Hugs, Karyn
Response: I'm glad you liked it all! I was so scared that you wouldn't. I couldn't convince Donny that the box was really the radio station he was supposed to be performing in. The Candy is made in the basement of a little candy shop we've got here down on main street (Idle Isle). Hope you enjoy it all. :]
Comment: Thank you so much for the great brochures, but please next swap put a note with who you are and what swap it is for. Luckily it was for a swap that was easily recognized. Karyn
Response: Thank you, but please check in the envelope and all of the brochures for the note. It's just a notecard with a picture of a shed with snow on it. It has three smashed pennies from here in it. I'd hate to think they didn't end up there. :]
