Comment: Love your book. I will be reading it, but I have to say there are some pages I will never read. The light pink and light green pens are very difficult to read and the yellow pen is impossible to read...I can't even tell what the yellow page is ABOUT, much less read it. Everything else is wonderful. I will probably be writing you a letter as I read through it.
Response: I am so glad you like it. I am sorry about the colors you can’t read. I didn’t use any yellow but i did use a gold color. I wish I had taken pics o I could tell you what was on those pages. I look forward to hearing from you =D
Comment: (liked the Bugs Bunny stamp). Thanks for the letter and the goodies, but there was one word I could not read. You talked about journal paling (is that pal-ing?) and said it was like...this is what the word looks like: conicrscition.
Looking forward to getting your challenge journal. Mine is about half finished too.
Response: I am not sure what that word is meant to be...I should of took a pic of the letter then I would be able to tell you. LOL Glad you enjoyed the goodies =D
Comment: Thank you for sharing your story. I feel more united with people from different countries than before. We all are effected by the same disease, financial problems, job losses, racism and protests. I hope we will find a way to stand united very soon. Stay safe!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your answers on Zacheus, I too love these studies! Linda has a gift for sure! I love your stationary so very cute! I’m going to use the envelope in a junk journal! How do you pronounce your name, I’m curious! ? God bless you
Response: Its pronounced I-SIS so many people get it wrong...i don’t know why though it spells the way it sounds.. Eye-SIS lol
Comment: Not sure I agree with you on the BLM stance. I feel that the anger built up inside is why things are the way they are. For too long they were silent. Eventually they got tired of it all. So they reacted in the way they had been treated. I deal with racism daily due to being a brown skinned Muslim. Also, share the part you mentioned you were. But anyway, truly want peace for all. It was good to hear other's viewpoints. Have a good day. Happy swapping.
Response: I understand your POV too...I just don't feel that being angry about injustice is a reason to riot and damage businesses and kill people sitting in their cars etc...It's one wrong being paid by another wrong. There are better ways to get your point across without making others suffer too and or being extremely violent and destructive. Take the movements of Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, etc...none of those destroyed property and so on.
Comment: I loved your book report!! Now that is a book I might read(I have chronic pain, fibromyalgia , cystitis etc) es I have had it since I was a child, yet diagnosed by a nurse practioner familiar with it 10 yrs ago. Ongoing treatment, pallitive care patient on paper. but like the book I try to live with it and around it...and yes other doctors do not believe me at all....only her...Thank you so much for picking a book I too can understand a bit!!! I very much enjoyed your thoughts on it! Thank you Isis
Comment: Sorry it’s taken me a few days after receiving your journal to rate! I’m so excited to have your journal to read and respond to! The elephant on the front is so perfect for me! Thank you for swapping with me. :)
Response: No worries =D Hope you have fun reading it. I look forward to our third round =D I am glad you love the elephant. I love them too. I had a hard time choosing the one to put on the front. LOL
Comment: I love this stationery with pink music sheets. Thank you for the bonus stickers :) One of the best things ever for young ones who are stir crazy is outside play stuff. We MORE than have gotten our monies worth out of small trampolines. Highly recommend! Sand play table, water play tables or just digging in the dirt are great for sensory and building hand eye coordination. So much fun to watch them play too! I miss my young ones. Want a teenager? We can trade! Hehe Just Kidding! <3
Comment: Do you what Isis was a goddess of, or does it mean goddess in general?
Response: There are lots of different parts to the mythology....but mostly that she was over children, fertility, and she was worshiped for a lot. I know that back then they borrowed gods so there are different stories and different beliefs. It's all very interesting.
Comment: Thanks so much, Isis ... quite a few of these are new to me. I haven't yet had a chance to listen to them (but will, I'm sure) and too, I'll look up the lyrics as I'm just ready to start a notebook of Christian songs that really move me. Have an awesome week!
Comment: Thanks for sharing your book with me. Even though the book sounds interesting I dont think I will read it because of the triggers. I appreciated you sharing the triggers with me, not everyone does that . Amazed that you read 26 books. I read a few but not that many. Happy reading.
Comment: Yay, thank you so much for all of the bible verses you gave me. I need them all right now in my upside down life. Thanks for the resend and doing it straight away. I have learnt a lesson from this swap. may God bless you in all areas of your life. God bless.
Response: 2/13/20 I have resent you this swap as agreed. Hope you enjoy it!
SO glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for working with me. Have a wonderfully blessed day!
Comment: Thanks so much for this postcard! I’ve never seen Brave but I love how she looks in black and white 😍 as for the weather, it’s snowing SO HARD here right now, it’s practically coming down in cotton balls
Comment: 100 hearts girl! The first 50 are making me do something for more than 90 days and keeping up with it. LOLOLOL. The rest are for such a pretty n' pristine journal and pretty penmanship to boot! OMgosh, unlike mine. I carried mine almost everywhere I went. It fell out the car several times, pages got ripped and literally sewn back together. lololol It resembled more of a junk journal. LOLOL.
Is that actually a pix of you? If it is coolio. Wouldnt it of been cool to see all the journals and all the various styles like in a museum? LOL I heart the washi page and the sticker page! I've read thru some of the journal. It may just help me. I didnt lose any wt on my journey maybe even gained. But I did change some habits. Like I said in my journal success isnt only necessary measured in pounds. I even concluded that maybe I have to work on some bad habits before I can successfully lose. I just dont know.
Response: Yes non scale victories are just as important as the scale victories! I am glad you learned something through all of it. Haha on making you do something for more than 90 days =D Sometimes I don't like my writing but most people do. I would love to see everyone's journals but that's not possible in this kind of swap. I may do another round of this one sometime in the future. I have too many going right now though. I am glad you like the washi page and sticker slapped page. Those are fun to do =D I hope to be matched in another swap with you sometime soon!
Comment: I apologize for the very late rating, I have received the postcard much earlier - but I there were some mail issues back then, than I hadn't been at home and wasn't logging into swap-bot either. I would like to make it up to you and send mail to you if you would accept my apologies and send me a mailing address. Sincerely sorry and hope you understand.
Response: No worries =D Life happens I get that. I will give you my address if you really want it but you don't have to send anything. I am just glad you enjoyed the swap =D
Comment: Thank you for the pc swap! Wow, you sound like one busy gal! Although now that I think about it, I've also held 3 different positions in the church at one time too...lol Never enough volunteers, isn't that right? Enjoy your day!
Response: I am glad you enjoyed the PC. Yes it can get very busy but I love it =D God is good. Have a blessed day!
Comment: Never received. Messaged on 9-15. Never got anything as of 9-25 so rated 1. Still have not received anything or a resend. Stated she will resend on 9-26. Got resend on 10-1 thank you.
Response: I am glad one finally reached you. I am not the only one in my complex having issues. The office said there is a substitute mail person and they are having issues as well. I am glad this has been resolved now. Thanks for re-rating.
Comment: hi Isis,
Thank you for your lovely e-mail. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to rate - I read it and then completely forgot to log on and rate you! I was obviously having a scatter-brained moment.
Oh, I love water too - I'm glad to find someone else who likes water for water's sake. I sometimes have flavour in it, but love just water on its own.
I hope the being more active is working for you and things are going well. I love your drive and motivation.
Comment: Thanks for our Children poem ... I wish you had used a bigger paper and spaced it more attractively. I think poetry deserves as nice presentation as possible.
Response: That is not in the requirements. I write poetry all the time and I don't use larger paper or make it a certain way just to please others. It is my poetry and I can present it any way that I want. That is the beauty of poetry in itself. The writer gets to choose how and what they want their poem to say and look. The only requirement for this type of poetry is that you choose a word and use it as a poem. Whether it be the beginning of a sentence for each letter or in the middle of it.I am sorry you felt it wasn't aesthetically pleasing for you. That was not a part of the swap. It was a poetry challenge to write. I did just that.
Comment: Thank you for your letter on such cute stationery! Your cursive is very pretty. I like the metallic pen you chose.
Response: So glad you got it and enjoyed the stationary =D Thanks for saying my cursive is pretty. I look forward to seeing you at the mailbox again as we seem to pick a lot of the same swaps =D Have a great night!
Comment: A beautiful story! It sounds wonderful to have a community of people you can call family. I really loved your last sentence about how we chose who we surround ourselves with and can call them family! Absolutely beautiful!
Comment: Thanks so much for the awesome journal!!! I'm only a dozen pages in so far but I love it. I appreciate all of the work you put into this!
Response: Yay! so glad you are enjoying it. I love doing them and this one was so much fun and a challenge. I liked that. I always worry that someone won't like them so it always makes me so happy when someone does.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely PC and your list.
I like swimming and I like going to the (ocean) beach but I don't swim in the ocean. It is too cold here and I'm not at the top of the food chain there.
Comment: Having so much fun reading and exploring your journal! Thank you so much! Just going through your journal has taught me so many new techniques! And the gifts in the middle are SO ME!! I am very thankful I got you as my partner!
Response: Yay! I am so glad you are enjoying it! I love journal paling and it is so much fun to see the way other people do them. I get so many good ideas from others too. Thanks for the heart and rating. Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the book review. It's something that used to interest me, but now that I've had a child myself, I tend to stay away from books dealing with children and trauma. I'll still put it on my TBR, just in case.
Comment: Thank you for the package!! It finally got here today in one of those “sorry we damaged your mail” envelopes. I’m giving you a heart ❤️ just for all the stress the usps put you through lol. I can’t wait to start reading all these letters Yayyyy’
Response: Oh no! I hate it when that happens. I am glad it finally arrived though. I sure hope none of them were lost and that you enjoy them!
Comment: Hi! Can I just say your writing is utterly beautiful! Oh my god, one of my favourite episodes is "Vincent and the Doctor"! I love it to pieces and I cry a lot, too! That's too cute, what colour Dalek was she? Gahh, it just sounds so adorable! Always gotta love Nine! So yeah, I love Christopher Eccleston too! I know so many people have mixed reviews about the newest Doctor but I honestly just love her! I love what she brings to the show. Sure there are some flaws, but each regeneration of The Doctor, each series has flaws so I just sort of let it slide from time to time. Anyway, thank you so much for your letter! I loved it! I hope you have a FANTASTIC week ^_^
Comment: Thank you so much for the letter ❤️ You’re definitely a great example for what a new pen pal should be like! I’m just getting around to the mail after some family heartbreak so I apologize about the late rating!
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing all those interesting things about you. You and your sisters have such lovely, unique names. Living in South Africa I have been fortunate enough to see zebras in their natural habitat. They tend to be quite plump and like to stand in pairs with their heads on each other's backs, sort of hugging each other. They're really quite sweet.
Response: That is cool =D I am glad you enjoyed the swap. I'd love to learn more about life there someday.
Comment: The stationery is gorgeous! Thank you so much for your letter. You do have your hands full with two little ones. Mine are 18 and 10. Humboldt is beautiful and way too expensive. I agree Redding is hot but it is nice to have conveniences. We often have to travel there just for doctor appts. I grew up in Fresno so I am used to heat. Humboldt isn't that bad at all in the summer. I actually like weather that is partly cloudy. I hope you have a wonderful new year. 🦋🐞🦋
Response: I hear you on the doctor situation here. It's crazy how long you have to wait to even be seen. It took like 3 or 4 months when we moved to this area to establish care. I do love it here though. Yes I miss having stores that were open 24/7 and more options but i wouldn't trade back. The coast is so nice here that is worth it...I hope you have a wonderful year this year too! I am glad i didn't have to resend this swap.
Comment: Thank you for the pretty card from Trinidad, CA. It's gorgeous - i understand why you would love it. :-) Things are great here in SD - we are supposed to get rain tomorrow and everyone is excited! We really need it. :-)
