(That and the 3D Grand Canyon were his favorites.) My friend Miriam and I explored the Strip and what I noticed was smells, especially around casinos! In all senses, your selections are wonderful with just the right sense of humor. Thank you.

Thank you for sending the make up ATCs. You only needed to send one! But both are very nice. THank you for the explanations! I've never heard of your Glimmer paints.. they make a showy ATC for sure. Yes, well, I used the fork to drag "waves" into some built up modeling paste on mine. I think that I could use some more practice too. Using your fork to "spread" or "rake" the paint was a great idea. :-) and a great use of the household "tool". I like trying to use items around the house, many art items are so expensive! Interesting "canvas" paper, too.. I like it! I will have to see if I can find some. Thank you so much for taking the time to re-do the swap. I love everything you have sent.

My favourite video game is Fallout: New Vegas and in it Hoover Dam has a big role and the setting is in Las Vegas and it's surroundings. Because of the game it's one of my dreams to visit The Strip and especcialy The Solar Project. So thank you very much for the pc, I will treasure it <3

Comment: Great card--I saw the original painting at the Chicago Art Museum--it is huge! It's amazing that it was done with all small dots--they also had other paintings by the same artist. Comment: First off, I love this card! I had this set myself and they are now long gone. It was nice to see one in my mailbox 😠Before moving to Georgia I loved to visit FL once a year but now we live on the border so we go all the time. DC and NY are also high up on the list. I love big cities and the hustle and bustle that comes with it. In my free time I like to go to flea markets and antique stores because you never know what you're going to find! As far as movies go, I really like the movie pay it forward and I think that everyone should watch it at least once and try to live their life by it. It has a great message and moral to give.

Tried to escape to Hawaii once, but came back home to AK haha...I don't do well in the heat and it just didn't feel like home. We love to travel too :) Taking this next summer off from driving out of state in our RV to do more traveling in-state. Will be a nice change :) Hope you had a great Thanksgiving :)

Comment: Thank you for the deliciously barbed Ann Taintor card, Halloween stickers, and your great message! You're right, it's still quite humid and summery here -- I wore shorts and flip-flops this morning, but I'd gladly be in jeans, boots, and a sweater :p The most interesting place I've visited would have to be Tokyo, which I saw for the first time in April with my sister, during the exquisite sakura season. I fell in love with the efficient transit, kind and polite people, crisp weather, and general feeling of safety; I'd love to visit more of Japan for a longer period next trip! (Of course, New York City is endlessly interesting and educational, and I would never turn town a visit.) As for people I'd like to meet, living or not... You have a pretty solid list :) As a kid, I wanted to meet Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. My current list would have to include Judith Light (who I have met, briefly, and she was a dear), Dame Emma Kirkby, Dame Helen Mirren, Leonardo da Vinci, Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ella Fitzgerald, and G.F. Handel. Hope your mailbox is good and full! ♥

Comment: Thanks for the OKC Memorial card. I have lived in Oklahoma most of my life, but I cannot bring myself to visit the memorial. I recently watched the American Experience (I think) documentary on the bombing, and it took me back to that time too much. I'm an hour away and the sound could be heard in parts of town here. I'm not sure why that moment feels so raw for me. I love the Oklahoma sticker!

Comment: Great card. The eclipse here dimmed the sun so that it looked like it was evening... We got a 91% coverage. The shadows formed were very interesting. It was such a welcome thing to see everyone excited about something... I think we all needed a break from the stress of the previous couple of weeks.

Comment: Thank you for swapping with me. Why do you read mostly children's books? Are you a librarian, or do you have children? I have a friend who is a librarian and reads mostly children's books. When he does recommend books, I know that they are good.
Response: I used to teach so got used to reading kids books mostly picture books and shorter chapter books. I like that on the kindle you can read a sample before you buy a book. Thanks for the heart. Have a great Sunday. Karen
