Comment: I am currently reading this book too for the same book challenge!! It's so good! And I am actually going to be reading the whole series!! Are you? The second book is The Infinite Sea and I already have it on ebook loan from my library so I can go right into it once I am done the 5th Wave!! Happy reading!!
Response: I just checked the next two out! Looking forward to getting started on them. I want to finish the series before I see the movie adaptation.
Comment: Belated thanks for a great swap and an awesome letter from you! Especial thanks for the Oklahoma Gazette pages. I'd been sitting talking about the Black Lives Matter groundswell when it arrived, so your timing was impeccable! I keep meaning to write back.
Response: I'm so glad they meant something to you, how cool on the timing! I'd love to get a letter back when you have a chance.
Comment: What a gorgeous postcard! I must look up more of this artist. I've had a hankering for some Mid-World lately, especially with the film forthcoming. I haven't read it or the Abhorsen Chronicles in close to a decade, at least! Probably time I sat down and had a nice, long palaver with the pages :)
Comment: Thanks for the great PC 😋 I hate the outdoors during the summer. It's so hot and muggy in Florida right now, that I think the outdoors is trying to kill me. I've mainly been playing boardgames and working on swaps but I'd really like to pick up the remastered Skyrim when it comes out. I did just watch Stranger Things on Netflix and it was fantastic â¤ï¸
Comment: Belated thank you for the hilarious, charming little kitty peeking from a tub (teacup? :3), Hello Kitty and Mimi and tiny cat listening to music stickers, adorable washi, and sharing your favorite lyric in "For Iago," Avery :) Hope you are having a good evening -- am watching the Olympics recap and in disbelief that the games are already finished.
Response: You're welcome, I'm glad you liked everything!
Comment: Thank you for the very nice Swap😊! I like everything...especially the Jetoy Postcard💗(
It is the first that I receive😃!).
I'll write a letter soon💌📮📬! Have a wonderful DayðŸ€ðŸžðŸŒ»ðŸ’☀ï¸!!! Many Greetings from Italy🇮🇹!!!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful Sound of Music card, Avery! The single-screen retro cinema near me often screens it as part of its summer classics series; I enjoyed watching it on the IMAX screen with my mom last summer in celebration of its 50th (!!!) anniversary. The cinematography was even more stunning -- Salzburg (Austria in general) is on my travel wish list. Hope you are having a good weekend, friend!
Comment: I always look forward to receiving mail from you, Avery :) Thank you for the peaceful moment of introspection of the Vanessa Bell painting you sent, colorful washi, and great rubber and postage stamp :) There is a restaurant nearby that fuses Korean with Creole -- I would be interested in taste that. Good luck with making kimchi! Happy Thursday :)
Response: Awwww, thank you, I'm glad you liked them! And that restaurant sounds amazing....
Comment: Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Avery, for a great envelope of happy mail that definitely brightened my day :D from the adorable cat washi and circus and Venus postage on the outside to everything you chose for me -- the Pekkle and Keroppi postcards, Sanrio stickers, map (!), subway, and robot washi samples, and the Harold and the Purple Crayon notecards that made me squee ^_^ <3 <3 <3
Comment: I really enjoyed reading your answers. ^^ About your bad habits, I have the same issues. You're not alone. ;) And Tex Mex food sounds awesome. Ages ago I had a cookbook with Tex Mex recipes, but never tried any of these. Do you have a favourite recipe you might want to share? Your joke was hilarious! XD I love this kind of jokes. Puns are so much fun. Thank you for sharing parts of your life with me! <3
Response: This site has some good recipes: http://www.midwestliving.com/food/ethnic/mexican-recipes/. Although I don't usually do sweet potato, that sounds weird compared to what I'm used to, lol! My mom used to make this really good stacked enchilada dish, which is probably my personal favorite. It's extra yummy with egg on top. I thought that sounded terrible until I actually tried it. It's amazing. I'm glad you enjoyed the joke. XD Thanks for the rating and heart. <3
Comment: Thanks for all the fun items. The Bambi pages will be fun to use in collages or postcards. My washi stash has been running low, so they are great appreciated. That brown and black floral tape is adorbs.
Response: Yay, glad you can use the Bambi pages! I thought they were really pretty. It's fun to find random things at work that can be reused instead of thrown away. Happy the washi tape will be helpful, too!
Comment: Wish I could give you a couple more hearts, this is lovely! I actually have a special place for space related cards people send me, and this one's going there :D The stamp was a nice added bonus as well! I'd love to visit NASA HQ some day, any of the locations, really. I'm definitely a big time space fan! Thank you so much! <3
Response: So glad you liked it! Yeah, I'm kind of a nerd about trying to coordinate my stamps and cards. XD
Comment: Thank you for the adorable, hilarious Jetoy in the tub (although it looks more like a teacup :) this is one of my absolute favorite Jetoy prints!), kawaii stickers (I especially love the cat listening to music :D), label, and washi tape, Avery! I will have to give "For Iago" a listen :) Happy weekend!
Response: Yay, glad you liked it! Thank you for the heart. <3
Comment: Hi Avery! TY for the very pretty nc, goodies and share! I cannot believe that Pokeman is back and bigger than ever! LOL! Not my thing but my son (22) is enjoying it and says it is bringing back his childhood (who knew he left it? LOL!) - hope you are able to get it to work! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Haha, thanks! Glad you enjoyed the card and the goodies. ^_^
Comment: Thank you for the great Gene Kelly/Singin' in the Rain card (as it begins to pour outside, hahaha!) and adorable Hello Kitty and embracing cat (reminds me of my own kitties) stickers, Avery! My brother and sister liked Home Movies and own the DVDs, actually; I even remember Dr. Katz commercials as a kid but obviously not being old enough to watch. I will have to give HM a watch as we anxiously wait for Season 7 to begin! :) I hope to attend San Diego Comic Con next summer to be in the room where the BB panel happens. If I had a friend in SD I would totally have ordered some of the special con merch :) Hope you are having a good week!
Response: So glad you liked it all! Oh, and when you start the Home Movies marathon, if you don't like the squiggle-vision, it stops after the first season, so keep going. XD I may have to give the series a re-watch myself now. I love it.
Comment: Thanks for the two book recommendations. I have never read them before! I have just completed going through all my mail recommendations and putting them on new shelves in goodreads. When your email came in I forgot I had a whole heap of electronic ones, so thanks for sending it through when you did so now I am starting on that shelf
Response: I hadn't even thought of starting a Goodreads shelf for these. o.o Thanks for the idea!
Comment: Thanks for the email Avery! IG is also a favourite app of mine and I use my notepad/checklist app daily aswel, not the same as what you use though but it's a very handy app to have. Have a great week!
Response: You're welcome, and have a great week as well!
