Comment: Hi Kate & Happy New Year! Thanks for the Charlestown, RI postcard. I wish you luck with your resolutions. I love making my own envelopes. Paper Source has some great see through plastic templates. Take care ;)
Comment: Hahaha You have no idea how much the little penguin egg sticker and story made my day :) Even without a penguin beside it I still like it, I still like that you stuck it on there :)
and I actually like the postcard since it's one of the few non-touristy ones...even if I don't really get the joke it was still nice to get it :)
Comment: I love the brown cow. Thank you. My folks used to keep a couple of cows to have milk for their 8 kids. It was one of my chores to milk them twice a day. It got me out of doing dishes anyway. Now I drive around and take pictures of cows, horses and barns.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card. No, I do not have an Oregon card, so this is much appreciated. I would love to visit Oregon sometime. I enjoyed the western states both times I have gotten to visit it.
Comment: Hi! Thanks for your nice comment on my profile! I love postcards and I am on postcrossing too (though was not active in there right now). Those vintage pc's were from a very kind lady here in swap-bot. Happy swapping and enjoy swap-bot! :)
Comment: Thanks for the adorable card -- and the lovely note. I love it when swap partners share a little of themselves as well as the swap item! And I do know about Oregon weather -- my husband was born and raised in Salem, and we were in Portland just in June visiting family! You are right about the temps in AZ, too. What passes for winter here generally only calls for a sweatshirt or fleece jacket! It is close to 90 today! Happy swapping!
Comment: This was your first swap on SB?! Wow girl! You killed it! I love this PC more than words can explain! It's so...strange! You can't really offend me with creepiness - it literally takes something really horrible to shake me haha. I hope school is going well. Psychology is something that has always interested me, but not as much as sociology. I want it to be my minor. As far as squeamishness goes, I'm sure you're mind is made up on psych, but IT DOES GO AWAY! The first time I saw someone's insides, I freaked a lil', but the more gore I saw, the less it bothered me. Just sayin', in case you ever change your mind.I hope you have a WONDERFUL day, and if you ever want to swap privately, hit me up! <3 Chels
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you liked the postcard! Psych is a little less gory than biology or medicine, but I'm actually leaning more and more towards law, which involves hardly any surgery or blood (I hope!) Even psych is a little gory; this week we did brain surgeries on rats and my rat woke up during the surgery!! That was pretty terrible.
I'll definitely contact you for a private swap next time I have a creepy postcard!
Comment: It's great to hear from an Oregonian! I do miss Portland (I'm from there originally) but I also am really loving Seattle! If you PM me your address, I would love to send you a postcard reply =)
