Comment: Hi Ashley These are my favorite swaps, I hope you will continue hosting them. I love seeing what everyone creates and I love the creating process myself. I love these mermaid pages, they turned out beautiful!! take care and happy swapping!! I will continue to message the other participant in the hopes you will receive your journal back. So sorry this happened
Comment: Will pass the bags on to my other pen pals or even when there is another one and if you ever have extra that you want to send to me you can I am always looking for extra's stay safe and thank you for swapping
Comment: Ashley, thank you for the fun envelope of random goodies! I knew when I saw the envelope that this would be a nice swap and I wasn't disappointed when I opened it! Each item I looked at seemed to present several different project ideas, so I will be having a good time creating. I think my favorite is the postcard with the beautiful cocker spaniel on it. Thank you so much for a wonderful swap!
Comment: Awesome! Right back at you! Thank you so much!
I love the sorry post card, but my favorite were the two homemade embellishment flowers you added! At least one is going into a current journal! Thank you 💖
Response: How sweet of you! Those flowers were a "lets see how this will look" project and it makes me happy to know you enjoyed them. I will have to make more now! :)
Comment: Thank you for the fat quarter and welcome to the world of quilting. The "puff" quilt you are looking to create is also called a biscuit quilt. This design was really popular in the 70's and 80's. It makes a quilt look inviting to snuggle up with. Good luck on your project. Do a search on youtube for biscuit quilts and you'll probably find a few free follow along videos.
Comment: Thats what Im talking about! BAm! Your envelopes are dripping with a mix of creativity! That honey cone stamp is so versatile. And that ribbon is sooooooooooooo pretty! LOve all the glitter and bright colours too! BAm! lol Thank you, thank you, thank you. These envelopes are so frun cuz theres really no expectation on how they turn out. Isnt it great not to have any expectation and knowing how ever they turn out will be great anyway? Thank you for all the niceties. Lets do this again! OK?
Comment: Thank you! It was great that you put the cards in a plastic bag because the envelope got destroyed in some sticky stuff. There was a note from the post office, apologizing for the damaged envelope. The cards were unharmed! Thank you
Response: Ahhhh!! Im so sorry, Something TOLD me to put them in that plastic bag. Yikes. Im so glad they came in one piece otherwise. I will work on securing the envelope better next time as well <3
Comment: Thank you for the card (I LOVE the postcard design!) I can't read the title or author of your book though, it looks like the post office felt like they had to send it through the bar-code printer 4-5 times for some reason! I'd love to know it if you remember!
Response: ooooffff- dang post office! haha the book is called " Perfect" by ellen hopkins :) Glad you liked it and the PC!
Comment: Thank you so much for the stickers! I love them all and am super pumped over the succulents and the animals! I think the most fun of this swap was learning which items ended up with whom :) Thank you!!!!
Comment: Omg Ashley! I wish I could give you more than one heart for all the amazing items you sent. Thank you for looking at my profile and sending me the most perfect items. I'm so thankful for everything :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful envelopes! :) They were all so lovely and my favorite size too! Do you use a machine to cut them? They look so precise! ❤️
Response: This makes me so happy to read! I always get so nervous with them, because I always feel like they arent perfectly straight. I use slidey paper trimmers and cut 8 x 8 and then i use the Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers with a score pen at the 3 3/8 mark. Its super cheap right now on amazon ($10) if you ever wanted one :) Thank you again for the kind words. Made my day!
Comment: I read your comment and it reminded me of myself. Have you heard of the KonMari method? I just used it in my bedroom and it has made a huge difference. I will be applying it to the rest of our house soon. 😉
Comment: Wow, now that’s a journal. Every page was fansinating to view. It was so sweet of you to let me have your friends creation...your additions were greT too. I know how time consuming it is to make one.
Comment: Loved all the great stuff you sent. A POE card-how unique and my black kitty on a book plate. The picture is just precious-I love when they actually took the time to write on the back the info about it! Thanks for a very thoughtful "stuffing"-Happy Fall!
Comment: Ashley, I LOVE the journal that you sent! It was such fun learning about you through it, and I find myself wondering, "how are things going with the house hunt?" and thinking about your wind chime creations. Thank you so much for joining this swap. I feel like I have a friend in Racine even though we wouldn't recognize each other if we passed in the street. Lol! Thanks for a fun swap!
Comment: CUTE size! Love it! Got it a few days ago & wanted to ooh & ahhh a couple days before rating! Thank you SO much.... still seeing new things every time I open it! Happy new year Ashley! ♡♡¡
Response: Yay! Im so glad you enjoyed it .It was a lot of fun making that one!
Comment: Thank you for the nice cards. Got most of my Christmas things put away. I really like the little Swap-Bot card. Where did you find them ? I've visited Racine. Grew up in Minnesota and had many motorcycle rides into Wisconsin. Pretty country. Thanks again.
Response: You are welcome- i have most of mine put away too. :) I actually made the swap bot card from vista print.
Comment: Ashley thank you for the awesome journal! You are absolutely gorgeous!!! Your kitys are so cute! I didn't think to include pictures and I was stump a few times myself. I love the vintage paper dolls. They are lovely and I have a project that I can include these beautiful paper dolls in! Copies of course...I want to keep these! Ganell
Comment: Ashely, thank you for the stocking stuffer. I hung my stocking over the weekend so that is where the present will go tonight! Love the homemade tag, very nice touch, and love the baggie of buttons, they will be put to good use! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Comment: This is BY FAR the best swap I have received! Omg you are a swap Goddess! Thank you SO MUCH! You inspire me
Response: Aww! That makes me so happy to hear. Im glad you thought that was a good swap- I hope we can do more together (Im sure we will)...I like to think Im more inspired to do even better next time. Thank you so much. <3
Comment: Not sure what happened but the package arrived open. Took it to the PO and they told me it was either cut opened or not sealed with tape as there was no tape at the end. But the journal is fine and there were several PC's included.
Response: Oh my goodness. I usually double wrap items for this reason. I always make sure it's sealed and then I put the printed out shipping label over the seal usually. So glad it was okay and that it made it to your hands. Thanks for the heart! I Appreciate it. !!
Comment: Hello Ashley,
Thank you for the outstanding postcards you sent me for the swap, "Postcards in a Envelope." You did a Great Job of matching my Profile. Thank you also for the two extras. These postcards will be a nice addition to my Postcard Collection.
Response: This makes my day! Thank you for your kind words. Im happy you enjoyed them. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Comment: I love the things you sent... thank you :)
Response: Hope you havent had any of those before! Glad it made it to you safely. I cant believe how much it cost to send overseas now days :(
Anyways, let me know how you like the treats if you get a chance...:)
Comment: I just read your "Spontaneous Combustion" and I really enjoyed it. You did a fantastic job. You'll laugh - I have a grandson your age and granddaughters almost as old! (I wonder if I'm the oldest swapper on here!!). I just got my application for the WV Jubilee craft show on Labor Day weekend. The lady who runs it saw my art and jewelry last summer and said "you don't need to be juried in - I want you there"... I hope that means I'll be able to sell some of my creations as they are taking over here!! So, the mail was great today... also included a neat pocket letter.
Comment: I apologize for the delay. I'm so excited by your package... It was HUMONGOUS. It's sitting on my 'birthday table' basically taunting me. Thank you for helping make my Jubilee so fun!!!(edit 12/24: what a lovely package! Yes i do love the pendant!! And the elephant journal (i love little books i can draw in!!! And elephants, of course!), the cross stitch kit and the atc kit (I'm sure I'll use it :-), the fun stickers, fabulous sharpie colors, the postcards and notecards, and the coloring book (woo-hoo!) ...all so fun!! Thank you, you went above and beyond!)
Comment: Thanks so much for the holiday-themed card (and yeah, I'm fine with using what you've got)! I would like to know more about these pocket letters.
Response: You are so welcome :) Pocket Letters are so much fun! You use the baseball card sleeves (9 pockets) and decorate 2.5 x 3.5 cards to put inside. Then you put goodies inside each sleeve. I probably didnt explain it too well, but google has soooo much info on them and tips to get started. (im a noob anyways! )
Comment: It just dawned on me that I never received anything. Could you please do a resend for supply destash?
Response: Really confused. After sending you the tracking number you replied that you must have gotten it mixed up with someone else's swap. Then rated me with the comment.
Are you wanting me to resend even though there's the tracking number showing it was received or is this comment before the email? Confused... :(
Comment: Thank you so much for all the stickers! I love the ones, idk what brand they are, but the stickers that are usually sold on like rolls and you tear off the little sheet that you want? Well you sent some of those and I love them because I have a harder time finding them now so thank you(:
Comment: Thank you sooo much for the thoughtful package! I love it! Great new Washis for my stash and a cute angel card Annnd cool stamps for my collection and other extras! You went above and beyond :) I will always love to be a swap partner of yours! <3
Response: You are so welcome! I always try and read profiles and include a little extra if I can. Thank you so much for letting me know that you enjoyed it as well as the heart! Take Care!
Comment: Ashley, thank you very much for the snippets an extras you sent. I will, definitely be putting them to good use. I bet it is hot down there , the last week or so it has been unseasonably cooler then normal, I hope that's is not a,sign of,another long winter us northerners. Thanks for, being a,part of the group.☺ Happy Swapping
Comment: Thanks for the list of groups and for "liking" my painting... I really appreciate it! If you like buying/selling groups there is one here on Swap-bot called Bargain Boutique: http://www.swap-bot.com/group/11dd566ceea98058d00dcf41142a7dca/about
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely gifts! Can't wait to use everything! I guess I should have waited until my birthday to open, but wasn't sure what it was and then I was just curious! Thanks again!
Comment: Wow! What a surprise! Thank you so much for taking the time to 1. Read my profile 2. send me postcards 3. send me a favorite recipe! You are a gem! Thank you so much for such a thoughtfu swap :) Happy Holidays to you!!!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I'm a cat person so I liked it a lot! I hope you managed to dye your hair and you didn't sleep it. Although it was my goal as well, I overslept 3 times during last week... Take care :)
Comment: Thanks for the biz cards and... postcard(?) (I'm not too familiar on what makes something a postcard, but I'm assuming that's what this is). How smart of you to include more than one biz card! Now I'm thinking how silly of me to not have done the same. DOH! I will pass it along if I feel the urge. :) Also, the stamp on the back made me smile.
Comment: your background is so cuuuute! you did the layout? i also love the kawaii sites x3 specially the storebuying ones XD im sooo addicted! sadly the ship is expensive D8 thats why janestore is a lifesaver <3
