Comment: Thanks! Both of these teas appear to be right up my alley. I will drink them both tonight at work during my painfully long shift... (At least I have something to look forward to. It's the little things, right?) :)
Comment: Hi Elizabeth! I got your postcard today, yum I love Jones soda! I've never seen the vanilla bean flavour here though. Is it good? I'm having a hard time imagining vanilla flavoured pop! Look forward to swapping with you again soon :)
Comment: I guess they still make Grape Tang and a whole mess of other flavors. Seems to be marketed to a Latino market - labels in Spanish, and flavors I've seen in other Latino-targeted products. I used to have a profile comment with a link to a site selling it, but I don't see it anymore. >:( Grape is sooo good. I still have two packets from Canada. Oh, I love your VERY PURPLE glitter - so shiny! And I like the pictures Jone's uses on their soda.
Comment: What a great carve! You are good. I love the dimples on her knees!
Interesting card too... I'm a map maven, and a geogeek, but for some reason hadn't thought too much about Alaska... those stats are amazing! I traded with someone in the Bot who said that she read James Michener's Alaska once Every Year! I might have to try that once.
thank you for the great items, i actually have one of the lollies in my mouth as i type, i have picked up that book before, looking at the cover i think it is about time i open the cover. thank you again.
Response: I know how you feel. I picked it up about four times before I committed to reading at least three chapters. Then I flew through it.
Comment: Gorgeous Zendala! Thank you for joining the series! <3 I'm starting a stationery shop on Etsy currently. I'll have a link to it in my profile within the next few weeks if you're interested in coming by and checking it out! <3
Comment: Thank you very much for the tea! Pumpkin spice looks very nice :) I'm happy to try tastes I didn't knew before! And I'm really happy to receive your cards from Alaska, I wish to go there one day :)
Comment: Oh My Lanta! Where do I begin? First of all..loved getting that beautiful envelope! The PC's, gum, mermaids, and bottle opener were awesome! Esp the bottle opener I love beer and its soo cute! I am also curious about the story behind the mermaids. Is there some kind of folk lore? Thank you so MUCH!
Comment: Thanks to you so much fun arrived in my mailbox today. Wow !! such interesting tea bag flavors. I enjoyed the sparkly notecard and the day brightener personal note.
Thanks for the tip about the upcoming Jane Austen movie.
Comment: Thank you for the pennies and the postcard. I have seen Kodiak Bears at the zoo in Sydney. They are one of my husband's favourite animals. I would love to visit Kodiak Island. Your temperature today seems very similar to ours. Thanks again.
Comment: Absolutely amazing little package! I think they carry different gum where you are. I've never seen this Hubba Bubba... :D Thank you thank you!! I also came to the conclusion that I sign up for tons of your swaps XD So thank you for hosting them as well!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I lived in Anchorage for a couple years when I was in my early 20s. I adored it. I wish I knew there was a surfing "scene" in Alaska. Or at the very least thought about questioning people if anyone did surf there. ((Love your derby name!))
Comment: PC arrived yesterday.
I lived on Cheez-its through college and now while grading papers (BAD habit). I rather enjoy the box with the 2 flavors mixed although my husband does not. During college football I can go through a box a weekend!
Comment: Wow! I was SO excited when I opened this swap! I haven't tried the Baby Lips yet,but have been wanting to. And the Moose Smooch was soo cute and smells delightful. And I can't believe you took the time to send me some sea glass. That was such a rad surprise! I've been missing going sea glass hunting lately, so this was a delight!! There are some beautiful pieces in there. Thanks so much - this was so cool!
Comment: Thanks for the card! Living on the Alaska highway my whole life I definitely have it on my wish list of places to visit. I visited Scotland. And I'm not gonna lie one of the reasons for sure was my love of Outlander lol. It must have been amazing to live there! My daughter is a red head too!
Comment: Thank so much. It shows great character that after such a long time and going through sickness that sending your swap was that important. I appreciate it. I have switched your 1 to a 5. Welcome back to swap bot.
Response: Sent package out very late. I apologized for the very late package.
Comment: Thank you so much! I really enjoyed getting the tea, and raspberry and blueberry are my favorite fruits! It was very special to get a present from where you live, I looked it up on the internet and it looks beautiful! we are 7635km apart from each other and in a few days I will drink your tea, thanks again!
Comment: I've been keeping my fingers crossed that you actually would send a coin from Alaska. Now I am the happy owner of a penny from Kodiak :) Thank you so much for the coin and lovely postcards! You made my day!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
Comment: Thanks for the penny and post cards. Beautiful state - we were there a couple years ago on a cruise. I'm actually giving the penny to my sister. Her house was broken into and her penny collection was taken....go figure! Thanks
Comment: I am so disappointed that you sent so late with no communication. The swap send by date was March 25. You marked sent on March 29...but it was almost May before I received my envelope. (The postmark was clearly printed as April 20th.) I should mark this a three, but I can't stand the idea of ruining your 5.0 rating on such a simple swap. Please think about communicating with your partners in the future. This was such a simple swap, and I've wasted lots of my time worrying about how to rate this.
Comment: golly: i am the lucky one for having you
as my partner!!!
thanks so much for so generously fulfilling
the swap with that nice soft deep green
dishcloth + handy dandy stickers ...
it made my day & i am inspired to learn
to knit in the future ~
Comment: Liz, please accept my apologies for this very late rating - I received your wonderful swap over a month ago, and have just really been slacking off from swap-bot commitments lately. So sorry!!! I absolutely LOVED all of the wonderful Valentine stickers that you sent me - the Aussie animals were particularly adorable! I also adore the polar bear PC from Alaska! Thank you for being such a wonderful swap partner, and again, apologies for the late rating! Maggie x
Comment: I never did receive the package though I will go ahead and rate you well because you did try to contact me even though at the time I was unable to reply to your messages. I am resending my partner her package, she should be getting it any day. Im sorry for taking so long to rate you on the swap. Im giving you a heart because you did try to contact me and you was a very good coordinator.
Comment: I have gotten the postcard!! Thanks so much for the resend!!
Response: Did send out on time. Have sent out a replacement....Check profile other partners did recieve theirs on time...It must have been a bad month for our mail getting out.....blizzards....volcanoes...
Comment: Dear friend Liz, Kodiak must be very far from here! I sware it is a new city to my list! And how beautiful is! I am not sure but I think I have already saw your handwritting. I will check all my postcards this nite!
Comment: Hi, I received your package today and it's so very gorgious!!!! What great style you have and love the mythical-sea themes. You are very talented. That was definitly worth while waiting so thank you so very much!
Comment: thanks a lot for you very beautiful postcard. it is new for my collection and im sure you chose it with all your tenderness. This one finally reached me a little torn but finally arrived.all my best regards. maite who appriciates your message and postcard for our swap on swap bot
Response: Did send out the postcard on time. And have sent her out another one too... Check out my profile my other partners from this same swap recieved their postcards and gave me 5 ratings.
Comment: Wow! What a great package to receive on Valentine's Day! The box was packed so well and carefully...everything was just as it was when you taped it up...the dish is too freaking adorable! I love the way you wrapped and pinned my valentine goodies in the white organza too. This was a true delight to find on my doorstep. You deserve a heart for the effort and choices you made in pulling this swap together. Thank you.
Comment: Thank you so much for everything! You really went all out! I love the buttons soooooo much!!! And is the art original? I liked it so much I hung it up! I listen to a lot of alternative too, so thank you!
Comment: Thanks. I do like the Northern Lights card. It is the second copy you sent. The stamp you use on the backs of the cards is interesting. So far you are the onlly swapper I have had as a partner who places the stamp and address on the front of the card. The DustCollector
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely ribbons and fibers! I can't wait to use them on my dotees! The papers and postcard are loved too of course! I hope you're feeling better! Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Comment: Okay - this was sent a month late (which was very dis-heartening - and communication was sporadic and at times lacking altogether) - HOWEVER, she more than made up for it in her thoughtful package. The fiber with its vibrant colors and noils was outstanding, plus the extras showed attention to my profile and - were just plain cute and - again - thoughtful. I expected to rate a 3 after all the hassle, but she really earned the 5 and heart after all!!! Thanks
Comment: OMG! Not only did you send 2 Twilight bookmarks, you sent 2 pins as well!!! You are just too cool. I love everything you sent...just added more fuel to my Twilight addiction. LOL! Where did you get the pins? Did you make them? All I've got to say is...excellent swapper. :)
Comment: I just noticed I hadn't rated you for this one -- I thought sure I'd received the card so I went back through and found it. Love the view of Kodiak and LOVE the vampire stamps! Thank you so much.
Comment: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Elizabeth! I absolutely love the scarf you made and I can't believe you hand spun that yourself. I've never thought to do my own. It's still a little warm here, in N. CA. but I will definitely use in when we go home to OR for Christmas. My in-laws will have snow I'm sure and my parents will have lots of rain and wind as they live on the Columbia Rvier Gorge.
I just love it! Thank you again! :o)
Comment: Thank you so much It was a wonderful postcard
to get. I love p/c's of Alaska specially snowy
scenes, this particular p/c I've been wanting to
get for such a long time. The Alaskan Igloo.
Thank you and Take Care.
Comment: Thanks for the gorgeous postcard! If there's anything you'd like to be sent from Scotland, let me know and I'd be happy to do a private exchange (but I'll probably be moving back to England in a couple of months so it'd need to be sooner rather than later).
Comment: It was interesting reading your letter - it reminded me of the 2 years i spent living on the lisland of Okinawa - though I think Okinawa is larger, but maybe it seemed larger because the speed limit was so slow compared to US -thank you for sharing part of you world with me - and thanks for the postcard!
Comment: What an interesting list of answers! I loved having the opportunity to learn about Kodiak -- a place I was aware of, but never knew anything about. Thanks too for the lovely note card and the post card. What a spectacular place!
Comment: We just got your package from the Children's Goodie Box swap and my kid is sooooo excited. She said she wishes we could give you a 10 instead of just a 5 because you put so much extra (and really awesome) stuff in! Seriously, there aren't enough hearts to say how much you made her day, and mine :) Thank you!!!
Comment: Thanks you, Elizabeth, that is a really well done portrait quilt! I like it very much and the netting works beautifully. I like Modigliani but do not hae a book of his work so that it a good addition to a fairly large collection.
Comment: Thank you so much for the cool postcard from Alaska with the Whale tail and the Moon, etc. AND the picture stamped on the back.
I love it!
Unfortunately it didn't get post marked.
But, hey, we should expect that that might happen.
Comment: a little late, but very much worth it!!! I love my pinata. And don't worry about yellow, it not my one of my favorite colors, but when it comes to a handmade item or art color never matters to me.
Comment: HELLO! I did receive the bag (I think the one you bought for me from etsy) WOW you got my style right on, thank you dear! I absolutely loved it. I hope you return to etsy, you are a great swapper. TAKE CARE! <3
Comment: Thank you for the Halloween package. My kids really enjoyed it. Just a quick note, it really fell apart in shipping, literally the mailman had to put three rubber bands around it because it was so torn and destroyed. Next time you might want to try a padded mailer. Thanks again!
Comment: Thank-you very much, this is one of the most interesting and attractive pieces I have received. Love the Temari link, also all the stickers and bits as well, big hugs for all of it. Much appreciated, and the shrine will be given pride of place in my house
Thanks again, Kairen - Snowflake.
Comment: Got my charms and they were lovely... thank you for the good communication about being late and the extra little package is wonderful...can't wait to go through it...oh, Kodiak Island looks like a little piece of Heaven...hope to get to visit Alaska someday :+} Lana
