Comment: change of heart, thank you! life is too short!
Response: I told you that I didn't send on the date marked sent, because I didn't get to the post office. I sent the ornament. It has a Christmas tree, rabbit, and package. If it doesn't arrive bey Monday, I will make and send another.
Thank you for removing the 1. Since this was a resend, I think the 3 was unfair. I lost out on some swaps because of the 1. Now I may loose out on others because of the 3.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card. I've had several of the Currier & Ives cards myself. My granddaughter wants me to ask if you have a panda and a kitty since that is your nickname on here (I didn't want to tell her I asked and not ask)
Response: My favorite animal Is a panda. My nickname is Kitty. Tell her thanks for asking.
Comment: Thanks for the cute postcard and our weather here is cold and rainy one day, warm the next day, it just stays on repeat I think Mother Nature forgot we're in May :-( I want warm weather not half winter time weather I think somebody needs to give Mother Nature a swift kick in the butt!!
Comment: I forgot to rate this wonderful swapper, I am so ashamed, I was going throught car problems during terrible weather and just missed rating her. she deserves all the credit available.to her. She deserves the biggest heart for being patient with me. Thank you again. Pandakitty.
Comment: 3+ years and finally getting a rating to you! I do feel bad and I am embarrassed about it also. I have been on an emotional roller coaster and I am hoping that it has finally came to an end. Life is not always fair. But we will survive! A while back, I promised myself to make right all the people and ATC's I have neglected to complete. It has been bugging me, as this has never been how I usually handle things. A few days late possibly, but always completed. I am so sorry about this and I do hope that this long awaited rating, will bring your paperwork to a 100% close at for anything I still owe you. If there is something else that you are missing from me, please let me know asap. Again ... Sorry!!!
Comment: Thanks for your awesome old-school, biblical Christmas card P/C. I wondered who had sent me such a cool mid-century modern painting in purples, blues and browns - who knew I would love that style? - but then I realised that was just a randomness more to do with the traditional Xmas card than the style of art itself. Well, what a lucky thing, if that's the case, and thank you so much!
Comment: Sorry! I got the wrong partners messed up. Too bad USPS stuck an extra-postage label on the illustrated side of the post card. I usually can take off the labels the postals place, but not this one!
Comment: This PC was SUPER adorable!!! Even my daughter loved it. Thank you so much for a cute card. I agree we are going to get snow, they are calling for a bad winter for us, but hopefully it will be a while before we see any.
Comment: Thank you. We had a little light rain & cooler weather over the weekend -- that may have been from the storm. We are pretty far inland to really feel much. Hope your week of rain doesn't cause any damage
Comment: Hi Kathryn - Love this postcard, the image in so cute. I thought the fish were real when I first glanced at them and wondered where they were from. All the best and happy swapping Jane x jep1068
Thank you for the cute handmade card:) I am so very thankful for the same things you!! I appreciate you communicating with me that you would be sending late. Have a wonderful holiday season...Charlene
Comment: Thanx for the neat ATCs that you shared with me. I wish more people had signed up for this swap. I love getting all kinds of different ATCs. Thank you so much for sharing them.
Happy Fall Mailings, ellie
p.s. thank you too for hosting this swap:-)
Comment: Ok I have to say that I giggled when I saw the Simpsons ATC. I remember when that cartoon first aired. I thought that Bart was just a bad boy! I don't watch it any more, my boys have left home and watching cartoons is not up there on my list. Swapbot is:-) Grateful for the ATCs. Have a wonderful weekend. ellie
Comment: Thank you for the pretty flip flop ATC & all the tuck-ins too. You were very thoughtful and generous. I even liked the card that you send with the swap. flip flops every where. blessings, ellie
Comment: I do like baseball but would like it so much better if my son got a coaching job that worked for his family.I have been at many ball games when it was way too cold or rainy to watch. Thanks for the card.
Comment: Thank you for you card, it's nice. Just wanted to note that using of ordinary scotch tape in card making makes it not 'good quality handmade' in my eyes. Using PVA or double sided tape would result in more neat outcome.
Response: I am not sure exactly what you are talking about. I do not remember using any scotch tape. I covered the postcard with clear contact paper to protect it during mailing
Comment: Loved the ATCs you made, thank you :)
Just noticed as I was taking it out of the plastic sleeve that the charm broke off on the top. Maybe put some bubble wrap when sending metal? But it will be ok once I put it in my book, thanks!
Response: Sorry about that. I will take your advice. Thanks
Comment: HI Kathryn - thanks for the Winter in July card - I agree, what a funny card - with the exception of the snowmen and Christmas trees, though, it looks a lot like July in Toronto on Highway 401! Stay cool! Jen
Comment: Thank you for a great card!
Way back, when I was learning english in West Virginia, I spent a week in Washington for Xmas, I loved visiting the museums and memorials, I did not see the cherry blossoms ´cause it was winter but I have never forgotten that experience!
Thanx for that blast from the past you sent me!
Response: I have been to Washington many times, but I have never seen the cherry blossoms. Maybe one day
Comment: Thank you so much for the granny squares. They are beautifully done and I really like your color combinations. I look forward to everything I receive from you, I know it's going to be impeccable. Thank you.
Response: What can I say. Thanks for the wonderful comment
Comment: Thank-you for your wonderful postcard that you made with my name on it and the teddies. I do not find my name on many things so it was so wonderful to receive. I love your 'snowflakes falling slowly'. Marion
Comment: I love the card! Thanks for personalizing. Also it's kinda funny that you so in depth and yet lucked out. I'm actually terrified of birds, but luckily for you ducks are the one bird I actually like. haha so you lucked out!
Comment: Received the ATC's late and they appear to be ATC's made by other folks, not my partner. Disappointed.
Response: The deadline was Feb. 16, I mailed them on Feb. 16 and marked them sent on Feb. 16. How is this late? Also, the swap instructions did not say that I was to make them. I am use to trading swaps being ones that someone sent you and you send on to someone else.
Comment: All I can say about your ATC is "WOW!" It really is one of the best I have ever received. Also, I read your profile, and my heart goes out to you. My mother died in 1999 of complications from Alzheimer's, and the years prior to her death were beyond stressful. My dad died in 1995, and I have always been sure that he died of a broken heart. Their 55th anniversary was just a month before his passing. A friend recently told me that she had read this saying: When God pushes you over the edge, he will either catch you or give you wings! I will keep you in my prayers. Happy swapping!
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for your Angel ATC that you created for me for this swap. It is beautiful. It will be a great start to this A-Z alphabet ATC Series. I like the combination of materials you used.
Comment: Thanks for your Christmas tree :) Next time please contact with your partner if you couldn't send the swap in time - I'm sure they will understand you and won't give a "3". Firstly I wanted to give that, but I decided not to do it. Merry Christmas! :)
Comment: Your beautiful ATC arrived today, and it was worth waiting for -- you even chose one of my favorite verses! Thanks also for the stickers. I hope your daughter is better, and I wish you a wonderful Christmas, and Happy Swapping in 2013!
Comment: Thank you for the nice nativity card! They are my favorites. (This swap's requirements were edited to say that these should be folded cards, but I'm more than happy with this postcard. You're also in one of my postcard swaps, and this would have been perfect for that one. I think this was a honest mistake and in keeping with the original swap requirements.)
Comment: Thank you for the pretty card. I just love chickadees. They are one of my favorite little birds, and are the most frequent visitors to my feeders. Thank you again, and Happy Holidays to you too! Carol :)
Comment: YES! this is EXACTLY the kind of card i was looking for, thank you so much! I already have a couple of avant card art cards from Australia, i just love the kind of illustration/adverts these guys have! Thankyou for the great swap.
Comment: Thankyou for the lovely handmade card. I'm amazed at how bumpy/textured mail gets through the postal system!
P.s. Please double check the swap name next time, it was hard to find you among my sent swaps!
Comment: Love the polar bear ATC! I really like what you did with the woven background. This card is totally worth the stupid two dimes my PO made me turn over for it. Thanks! :)
Also, I took a glance at your profile and while I can't really judge 'cause I didn't see the cards in question, I do live in desperate fear of being paired up with a joyless, 3 slinging swapper. Eep!
Response: I don't understand about the two dimes to the PO
Comment: Thanks for the great pc of our capital building. A picture I saw on facebook the other day was of a port-a-potty on the scaffolding around the dome. They are supposed to be done with the restoration later this year. I hope the dome looks better than it does now. It had character before. All blue except for the spot that got hit in the '66 tornado.
Comment: Love the photo of the old house covered in vines!! It looks so sad and abandoned - I bet the squirrels live very happily in there! ;) Yep, we do have a lot of great old houses in NC! You didn't move too far away though! Thanks for a great PC!
I sure did love your rose ATC
PS when I read your explanation about the threes you have got it sounds to me that there are examples of these narrowminded people I really dislike. I guess everyone does the best they can...and if someone finds himself/herself standing above this..they are the one to feel sorry for. They have missed something important in life. ds
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for your ATC that illustrates your representation for Solomon. I like how you built the scale of justice. I will proudly add this to my Jesse Tree Collection. Happy Swapping!!!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely handmade card! I've yet to try my hand at something so creative, but I admire people who do. Love the weaving effect--that must have taken a long time to achieve? Have a great day, too! :)
Comment: Sorry but the last message was for another partner. But I do love your pc of Gettysburg. I was there when I was 3 and 8. When I was there at age 8 I was introduced to history fell in love and have never quit. I love Ken Burns Civil War series. Thanks Vicky
Comment: got my square today :D loved the softness of the 'mixed' coloured yarn, very awesome :D
a hint if you want to save on postage and participate in more of the granny square swaps, i send mine in a regular brown envelope with a regular stamp :D i cover the edges of the envie with packing tape but it will save you alot (hope the tip helps in the future)
Comment: Thanks very much for the sweet little teddy and the pretty flower and butterfly atcs. You did such a quality job! What kind of glue do you use, like what you adhered that floral stem with? I might have asked you this before, is it Beacon 3 in 1? What ever it is, I wish more would use it because I am getting aggravated with having to repair things I get that have fallen apart in the mail........
Response: I used glue dotes to fut on the flowers.
Comment: Hee hee - what a wonderful profile-related card. I actually said "wow" when I first saw it and then realised you had also added those words in 3-D! So cool.
What a great one for the collection xx
Comment: fantastic, now i know how to seal my button for my button postcard swap
the dove is lovely and you really must check out the weaveing pc swap
so much much care and work went into this
thank you so much for all the effort on the great pc up on my wall it goes
Comment: Thank you for the snow couple! Our Christmas was wonderful and I'm glad yours was also. What did you use to protect your card? I've received several "taped" like that and would love to know how it's done... very clever!
Comment: Thanks for the cute apple PC. I don't have any apple trees, or any fruit trees for that matter, but we grow asparagus, green beans, beets, squash, lots of flowers, and more! I spend a lot of time outside in the warmer months - it's so relaxing! Best in 2012! :)
Comment: Thanks for the nice postcard, I liked it, but in my profile I say that I normaly don't want handmade cards, unless if it's a swap requirement. Don't get me wrong, but it's for my collection... but I liked it ;)
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for the awesome illustration of the bells you did for me. I love the striped bells and the interesting decorated leaves. Your loteria card will be a very positive addition to my already growing collection of loteria cards. Thank you for sharing your drawing talents with me. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a blessed 2012.
Comment: I love the handmade card, although I'm curious if you specifically chose to send me one of Challenger because of where I'm from or was it just a coincidence? The Challenger just holds such an important part of history in my city, I'd just love to know if you knew about it prior to sending me the card.
Response: It was my Guardian angel that picked it. I was not know about the connection. I am so glad that you enjoyed it.
Comment: The munchkin loved your amigurumi so much that she confiscated it on the spot! Thank you so much, not just for the cute cat (my daughter insists it's a cat) but most of all, for making my little girl so happy!!!
Response: I am glad she likes it. Yes, it is a cat in pjs.
