Comment: Fantastic cards - all of them. Am in awe with the colorful vintage card and mesmerized by the ram card. Your letters are always a treat, thank you so very much!!! Whale - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ3sAIEg6OY This one? fun!!
Response: Yes! That is so cool! Thanks for your kind words and thanks so much for the heart!!
Comment: Hi Charlotte! Thank you so much for the card you chose for me and for the lovely extras. I'm crazy for the unicorn cat (unicorn + cat = awesome!), the autumn leaf card is beautiful, and those marmots? Cuties! Hope to swap together again soon.
Response: You are so welcome! Glad all went so well! Thanks so much for your kind words and thank you so much for the heart!!!!!
Comment: Thank you for the nice cards, we didn't get any Trick-or-Treaters this year. When I lived in the city, a block from Main St. I used to get dozens even though we live in a condo. But after I remarried we moved to a house on a country road and get little company. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We will go up to see my parents in Chicago. My husband doesn't have any family in this country. Marina
Response: You are so welcome! Thank you so much for the heart! Happy Thanksgiving!
Comment: Thanks for the fun cards and the extra ephemera. I especially like the WWII black and white postcard and also the "Dearest Margarita" one. In fact, I just ordered the box set of the "Dearest Margarita" cards. What an intriguing story behind them!
Response: You are welcome! Well, my goodness! I didn't even know there was a story with them! Thanks for the tip. And thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you! As soon as I read McGuffey, I thought of Little House on the Prairie. I am rewatching the series for the 30th time. (: Thank you for the letter, I could not stop smiling when I saw everything. (:
Response: Oh, good! Thank you for your kind words! Little House on the Prairie is not only loved here in the USA. I once had a German penpal who yearned to go see where she grew up!
Thanks so much for the heart!!
Comment: You had a nice twist on your card, you did a beach, which really made the flag umbrella and star work well together with the singing penguins. I did a winter scene. I am so glad you were my partner, and I got a different perspective on the scavenger hunt.
Response: You are so welcome! Thanks for the kudos and the nice rating!
Comment: Thanks so much for putting a smile on my face today. What a wonderful envelope of goodies. I'm really enjoying going through everything - especially the postage stamps. Have a wonderful day. Happy Swapping!
Response: You are so welcome! So happy my envelope made you smile! Thanks so much for the heart!!!
Comment: Thank you for the Christmas greetings. I wish I could climb inside that lovely snow globe you sent me to escape this Texas heat and humidity, but it is nice to look at it while sitting next to an a.c. vent so I can at least imagine I'm inside it.😋
Response: Oh, you have heat as well! We cranked the AC today and then it rained and dropped 20 degrees! Glad you enjoy the snow globe! Yay! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I love these images! Thank you so much for making them. To glue mine down, I precut a piece of card stock to size and then add liberal amount of common glue stick to the back. I find the glue stick lets me reposition just a little bit but isn't so wet that I have a bubble issue. I have found it easiest to use a scrap piece of paper under my work space to make sure I get maximum coverage over the card stock with the glue stick. The image I only cut on two sides so I know which corner I want to line up to and then cut the rest off when the card is stuck down to my liking. I hope this helps. Yours turned out great.
Response: Thanks so much for the tips! That is a great help! You are welcome and I'm glad you liked them! Thanks so much for the heart!!
Comment: Charlotte, thanks so much for the cool postcards and the newsy letter. Congrats on being married for 50 years! What an accomplishment! I appreciate the extra card and I think I would have the same reaction to holding a snake. Thanks for sharing that and have a great time at your anniversary gathering. Cynthia
Response: You are so welcome! And thank you for the good wishes! all is good! Thanks so much for the heart!!!!
Comment: Thank you for the great cards and letter! A lot has changed at Mt Rushmore and currently under construction in certain areas. If you really like Hummingbirds - Smithfield, Ill has a Hummingbird Haven. Free and wonderful to sit and watch in awe. Check it out online.
Response: Thanks for these tips! I always like to hear about new info from people who have experienced it first hand! Thanks for the heart!!
Comment: Thanks for your family & friends women collages. :) Indeed it looks like you've had lots of fun. I love the song of the orioles and was happy to hear them again this year! They can hide themselves very good, never saw one.
Response: Hope you see an oriole some day! Yes, I have a big family. You are welcome!
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful note. I LOVE it and have read it a few times already and will read it again when I need a little pick-me-up. Thank you also for the postcard. I love sand dollars and the "legend" about them. I will be praying for your daughter and for you. Hang in there. ☺🙏❤
Comment: Your letter was a joy to read! My son's birthday is May 26th, you know, Memorial Day weekend, when barbecues and pool parties and picnics abound in southern California, right? Not this year, it rained, was freezing (by my standards) and people remained firmly indoors. Thankfully I did not plan his party for that weekend, or else it would have been a soggy disappointment. Thank you for thinking of my hubby with the Vader & Son pc, he thoroughly enjoys those, and the extra ATCs.
Response: You are so welcome! So sorry you were housebound because of the rain and cold! We have been to two weddings in CA around Memorial Day. The first, in Humbolt County was a muddy mess finishing with a downpour at reception time. The second was in Yosemite and it snowed! We all froze! Thanks so much for the note and the heart!!
Comment: (Sigh!) I have rated earlier, but the rating hasn't held. I have a sort of love-hate relationship with John Grisham. Good to know that "The Reckoning" is good! Zoo Nebraska sounds really interesting! I'm glad it satisfied your curiosity.
Response: Yes, I have been disappointed with a few of John Grisham's books. I feel like I'm taking a chance every time I start one of his new books. Zoo Nebraska was a real surprise and I was glad I read it. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!!
Comment: Thank you for the nice selection of cards and the extra! Im glad there is no flooding there. I live by Lake Michigan and now its rising fast and places are flooded at the lakeshore. Im hoping it stays back. We just keep getting more rain though. All the best! Thank you.
Response: You're welcome! I am pretty tired of rain!! Have a great day! Thanks so much for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcards, the extra and the little notecard. I enjoyed reading your letter. How fortunate that you have such lovely little animals to watch. The only animal we get in our yards is the vervet monkey and they are so naughty and wreck the plants. Their babies are adorable though.
Response: You are welcome! I would imagine the monkeys are entertaining if it is not your plants they are wrecking! Thanks so much for the heart!!
Comment: I know it is hard to figure out what to sent when we are both in US right?! Thank you for the state quarters and I love the 3 extra coins you included. I have never seen ones like that...would love to know where you got them. Have a fantastic day Charlotte :)
Response: I got them in a swap - I guess you never know what will turn up, eh? Thanks so much for the heart!!
Comment: Hello it's may 18th I received your package today I was thrilled I enjoyed the letter very much so I don't know alot about water sports but you touched in quite a few that was really neat the tea is amazing though orange is especially lovely thank you so much have a wonderful day p s. Thank you for the advice on my profile
Response: You are so welcome! I thank you for the heart!!! Happy swapping!
Comment: Your photos are a delight to see! I like all those flowers! Here we have grape hyacinth too but they're called "muscari" which is the scientific name. Thanks a lot for those lovely photos of flowers!
Response: You are so very welcome! Thanks so much for the heart!
Comment: Your photos were nice to see and your letter interesting but I have to admit it was really a pain to read it because of your handwriting. I'm sorry if I look ride and I know it's really hard to control our handwriting but it's how I feel. It is very nice on the photos and envelope but your letter is so badly written that I still haven't finished reading it, it takes me to much energy to try to understand! Please, think of people who have a different language than yours, it may be hard to understand an handwriting in an other language. Sorry if this upset you, I had to tell you. It's a pity because your letter is very interesting!
Response: I will send you a typewritten one. You said you liked handwritten, so I tried but I'm sorry; my handwriting is just awful, I agree.
I will re-send.
Comment: I love the key you chose for this swap!! It was such a surprise to see this type, and in purple!! I hope you and your daughter are able to be in touch quite frequently and that all the good things you wish for her come to be. Thank you for sharing!
Response: Thanks for the good wishes - so lovely! And thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the second bunch of postcards! I think every state has at least one weird place to visit. In Georgia, it's a place called Pasaquan in Buena Vista. Google it and you'll see the folk art palace he's created. I went on a field trip there as a child! Hah! Hope to see you in the mail again!
Response: We meet again!
I just Googled Pasaquan, and it looks very interesting! Thanks for the tip! And thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the amazing cards you sent! I especially like the narwhal postcard! Thanks also for your chatty note! I look forward to my kids being grown and starting families of their own! You're living the dream! Congrats on 50 years! Happy swapping!
Comment: Thanks so much for these wonderful postcards, that I can tell you hand picked from my profile. They are all beautiful! I loved your note too! I hope Gimpy and her friend are alright. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful walk. I remember those days. The midwest is cold and snowy but the farmlands of Wisconsin are worse. We used to live on a farm in Walworth County, Wisconsin until 2000. Have a great Christmas.
Response: Oh, my goodness! Walworth isn't that far from Elkhorn! That's crazy! Yes, the winters are so cold. I am sitting in the house, fully clothed, with a fuzzy blanket over me! Thanks for the heart and nice words! Have a lovely Christmas!
Comment: Your card is beautiful. I am going to gently disassemble it to see how you made it! And your letter was wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your Christmas season with me. You are inspiring!! I love all your traditions..
Response: Thank you so much for the kind comments and the lovely heart!
This is the site I used. https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/twistedpopupcard/
I copied it and keep it on my computer to refer to it when I make cards.
Comment: Thank you so much for sending. I like that they're colorful and random. And wowza!! Look at that snow. We don't have any yet, but we can get our fair share. I am sure you beat us by a long shot where you're at though. Happy Thanksgiving Day to you too!
Response: You are welcome! Thank you so much for the heart!!! And Happy Thanksgiving to you
Comment: WOW! Got the mail from the mailbox and have TWO envelopes for this swap! Thank you for all the incredible EXTRAS!!!! My hands are shaking. I don't like that you sent two and I got two. Sorry! We only go once a week to the mailbox now. So cool one of the traveling postcards is for another person in Greece. I haven't ever been in a swap with them. ha ha ha Wishing you all the best.
Response: Not to worry! It's all good! Thank you so much for the heat!!!!
Comment: Thank you for the essay. I too was ingrained with "don't waste food" ... & the banana sending incident was hilarious! By the way, why did your sister think you specifically, not other siblings, should have a bulletin board? Always a journalist, were you ? :)
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful 'hand', Charlotte! Love the cards (especially the Amish Country map card & the one from Valparaiso). I've been trying to talk my hubby into a Springfield, IL trip-maybe in the next few years when we get some other trips crossed off our bucket list. Your Lincoln gravestone phone is great, and I'd LOVE a pc of it (and plz do tell about where you get sticky pc backs!). What can I send you in kind?
Response: I'll get it out ASAP in an envie. You can send me a Colorado postcard of any of the CO high spots - Pike's Peak, Estes Park, Cheyenne Mt. - you get the idea! Could you send it en an envie? Thanks!! I buy the backs from Amazon. I'll send you an unused one along with the pc.
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful postcards. We almost adopted the small American Eskimo dog many years back. We brought him home from the shelter on trial and after a couple of days we let him off the leash. He took off to the neighbor's farm and chased all their sheep into the barn. Needless to say, he went back to the shelter the next day.
Response: Oops! Well, you never know what's in their head before you take them home! Thanks so much for the heart!!!
Comment: Charlotte- Thank you for the lovely letter and postcards. The Frank Lloyd Wright and the Aardvark are my favorites. I'm stumped on the buffalo PC. Maybe the buffalo symbolizes the west since she was a country singer?? Thanks again for a great swap!
Response: You are welcome! A good thought about Loretta and the buffalo! Thank you so much for the heart!!!
Comment: Dear Charlotte

Hope to swap again soon
Response: Wow! How cool is that? So happy! Thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Ha Ha! I tried the printer thing too on a PC and it didn't work out so well either! I think you have to start out with a thinner card. The thick ones just won't do, unless, maybe, you can find a printer with a straight feed... And how did you know I was "slightly cracked", I thought I had that well hidden!! Thank you!
Response: Hahaha! You're funny! I tried thinner ones, and they always came out printed upside-down and backwards. So I gave up! Thanks so much for the heart!
Comment: Love the card! So colourful and full of life ^^ Hope you're staying safe and hydrated in the heat :) We’ve been having the complete opposite summer. Very cold and foggy. We had the first snow in June, a couple of weeks before I went on summer vacation :p
Response: What? Snow in June? Oh, hope it warms up for you but not as hot as here. I went outside to hang the hummingbird feeder and I came back in drenched! It's like a sauna out there! Glad you liked the card! Thank you so much for the rating and the lovely heart!!
Comment: Thank you for the swap card and the extra card! Yours was the first I received for this swap and quickly realized I sent stamped cards to everyone! Just sent out messages to see if I need to re-do. Thank you also for the nice note.
Response: You're welcome and I hope it all turns out ok for you! Thanks so much for the heart!!!
Comment: Thanks for the PCs, inc the "extra", the fun paper you made the envelope out of, and the great note! We've had an early "hot" summer down here and don't anticipate cooler weather until October, so enjoy yours while you can!! Thank you!
Response: You are surely welcome! Glad you enjoyed the swap. Stay cool - we had a nice, dry day of about 75 today. Thanks for the heart!!!!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard. I love NC. We always have a different weather, sometimes we have all four seasons in one week! It's beautiful though. I live at the base of the mountains, and I am about a 6 hour drive from the ocean, so it is so nice. I love the swap bot postcard! Where did you get him?
Response: A friend gave me a box of postcards and that was one in there. You might be able to order them from Swap-bot. You're welcome and thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Thank you, Charlotte, especially for the Kliban Cats & the vintage woodchuck.Lovely rose photo & story too. Interesting that I'm not the first Linda Ballou you've encountered, especially since my surname is not all that common.
Response: You have a name-twin somewhere. I have one in California, one that I found online. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing with me in this Bible study! I feel that not only am I getting a reminder of God's will for me, I am beginning to be able to memorize verses again with the help of these studies and the handwriting challenges where we are writing verses of the Bible.
Response: What good news! Praise God! I like these exercises as well! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for your letter! I really need to upload some more recent pics of the grands - they're almost 5, 2.5 and 1.5 now! I'm so lucky they live close by. I hope your water park party happens, and everyone comes!
Response: Thanks for your kind words! Yes, kids keep growing, not matter how old your photos are! haha
Thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Thank you for participating in this swap! It was great to see how others feel on the subject. To me, you deserve a heart because you gave a good explaining answer and not just a few words! Thank you!
Response: Why, thank you so much! And thanks for the heart!!!!
Comment: Hi Charlotte!
Thank you so much for your personalized letter that went along with the Bible study! It really put a smile on my face and made me feel like I had a friend who was thinking of me. I love that our birthdays are the same! ;) I loved the unicorn stickers you included thank you so so much! I will be praying for your relatives who were in the fire, I’m glad that they were able to get out <3 thank you so much for sharing!
Response: You are beautiful, Christina! Thank you so much for the kind words and also thank you for the heart!!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome card extras! I smiled when I read your note about “If ya ain’t Dutch, ya ain’t much.” I heard that more than a few times growing up in a family with strong Dutch roots!
Response: Glad you got a smile from my cards & letter!! Thanks so much for the heart!!!
Comment: I'm so sorry for the late rating. Thankfully today so glad I checked my swap board. Senior moment! lol Thank you so much for your letter, extras as well. I'm keeping the prezzie and card just as is until Christmas. Put in my stocking until then. Happy Easter! Thank you so much! :) Update: Thank you for the unique wooden decoration. Love it! Happy New Year!
Response: No worries! I understand! You're welcome and thanks for the heart!! Happy Easter!!
Comment: Hello Charlotte! First, I loved your picture of the Jersey shore; it's picture perfect. Thank you for the lovely selection of cards. I am crazy for that unique map of Italy and I spent a long time looking at Khalil Gibran--so young! Love the San Fran card, too. Thank you so much for choosing such special cards for me.
Response: You are entirely welcome! Thanks for your kind words and glad you enjoyed the cards! Thanks so much for the heart!!!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. We never get snow here. This year we got sleet for the first time in about 8 years. =) Since the beginning of February we have had a mix of spring and summer weather. I love it!
Response: I love spring/summer, too! We are glad the snow is melting, melting! So sorry about the sleet; it can be dangerous. Thanks for the five!
Comment: Great card and quote! We just finished sturgeon spearing season here last week--almost 700 of the giant fish were pulled out of the lake. Hundreds of folks were out on the ice--trucks and ATVs sunk on thin ice. A good time was had by all. Thanks!
Response: Sturgeon SPEARING! That's something I have not seen yet, but I do know about thin ice! Glad all had a good time - as well as some sturgeon! Thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: This is by far the coolest swap I've gotten!!! I love postal stuff! I didn't read your note first and when I pulled the stamp out I thought, "this looks Postal, wonder how they got it". Then I opened the note, oh, very cool. The key is so beautiful, love the pitted, old metal. You are so lucky to own such wonderful items as stamps and keys. I have an old oak desk from the PO. My husband won a raffle and got the desk. It's gorgeous! Thank you so much for gifting me these wonderful items, I will cherish them and use them to create! 💗 📬 💗
Response: You are so welcome! I am glad you appreciate them; not everyone does! Happy swapping and thanks for the heart(s)!!!
Comment: What a beautiful PC - just gorgeous. I'm never sure whether it is sunset or sunrise either on some PCs - I know there must be a way but it always eludes me. Thanks for the lovely PC and hope to see you in future swaps ~~
Response: Thank you so much for the 5 and the heart!!! Glad you liked the PC. I wasn't sure whether it was a sunset or sunrise... it was beautiful in any case! Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the birthday wishes and goodies! I love the Napoleon Dynamite quotes you sent, they made me laugh! "Give me some of your tots!" 😂 All of the cheese talk made me hungry! When I go up to our cabin on October I'll be stopping at Mullin's for cheese curds! Yum! Happy birthday to you too!!
Response: Thank you! Today is my birthday, although we celebrated yesterday as we are packing to go on a trip tomorrow! Our nice neighbors invited us over for a cookout, so I won't have to cook - again! haha Thanks again for the wishes and thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Thanks for the stickers and recipes and such! I have been making cards since I was young, but now I learn by copying expert bloggers techniques like Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Sandy Allnock on their blogs and YouTube channels! Happy crafting and swapping!
Response: Thanks for the connections to the card-makers! Glad you liked the stuffers. And thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Hi! I drove up to Madras, Oregon to see the FULL eclipse & it was an amazing experience! I also ordered my glasses from amazon, but did not get a notice :/ So far, so good... Thank you so much for your awesome ATC & the cool stamp! :D
Response: Oh, lucky you! My nephew & fam live in OR & they drove to Bend to see it! Awesome! You are very welcome! Thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Very nice zine - good luck with your list. That's a pretty awesome Firebird, too - is it yours? Your photos are lovely - thanks for sending and for the extras! So sorry you didn't get to see the eclipse. It was pretty awesome, but the 80% we had didn't look like 80%. I'm hoping for no clouds in 2024 because that one comes right over Akron, Ohio, about 10 minutes from my house!
Response: OH! Lucky you for the 2014 eclipse! Something to look forward to! Yes, we got the Firebird in 1970 and now we only drive it in the summer! Thanks for the heart!!!!
Comment: Lovely envie, and the contents were wonderful too :P Your backyard bird list was really cute - we get a bunch of the same birds here! Don't feel too bad about having trouble pronouncing "about" the Canadian way - apparently it's a super weird sound that American linguistics doesn't even have a way to describe!
Comment: What beautiful clouds! I like the double rainbow, too. I really enjoyed reading Backyard Birds. What a great idea. I may have to copy you and make something similar soon. And thank you for the beauty sample! Will use tonight. I need all the beauty I can get :). 🌷🌷🌷
Comment: Hi, Charlotte!! Thanks for the beautiful postcard and the encouragement. I pray your church will find the right pastor soon. Like you said, these things take time. The Lord doesn't always move in our time frame. Have a very blessed day!!
Response: Thanks for your encouraging words, too! Yes we have had 80 applicants and now they are narrowing it down. - lots of unsettled things now concerning our building, so we are looking to God for direction! Thanks so much for the heart!!!!
Comment: What a wonderful package! I'm sorry to hear your post office didn't carry the padded envelopes, mine had them once then never again. Everything you sent was just lovely. The vintage photos and postcards are awesome, and the nature book looks great! I've never seen those vintage rubber stamps before but I LOVE them! I think you've started another obsession with me, haha. I can't thank you enough for all of the lovely things you've sent. I'm inspired by this box and can't wait to dry the ferns and use them in some art! Thank you again!
Response: You're welcome! I just so glad you liked the things I picked out! Those rubber stamps - a long time ago, the local post office threw them out and I rescued them. haha Glad you love them! Enjoy! And thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Belated thank you for the lovely, serene view of the Menai Suspension Bridge over the river that definitely tops "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" (I am relishing E.M. Forster's lush, poetic description s of England in Howards End) and for the cheerful reminder of a quote! Hope your summer is going well and your box is full of surprises :)
Response: Why, thank you for the lovely comments and the big heart! Yes, thank you, my summer is going very well! May yours be the same! Thanks again!
Comment: I love it! I saw that you had signed up for NE! So funny about town not being postcard worthy! When I first came out here from MA..used say all towns, no matter what size, always have a bar and a post office. ☺. And love you got the Elkhorn River, and live in Elkhorn!! Did you really take the picture? Wicked cool if you did 🙂. Thank you so much!
Response: Yes, I took the pic! I was driving back to my niece's house and saw the broad river in the sunset! Yes, that is true about small towns having a PO and at least one bar! Thanks for the 5 and the good post!
Comment: This was an awesome swap Charlotte! I love the additions to my collection that you sent. Lots of shells here, but not so many rocks. Very envious of your friend's collection and I do understand his reluctance to part with any of it. Thanks! Liked the postcards as well! :)
Response: Thanks for pointing out that not all rocks are in all places. I never even thought of that! Thanks for the heart!!
Comment: I really like how you took the time to suggest those movies. I am going to try one tonight. I always forget to log in my geocache since I go with my brother. He is E=Mc2 (pennsylvania). I love all you sent me, tags, mini envelopes, washi sample. Thank you for it all.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful found image ATCs. I love them. I grew up on the water my whole life so I was really drawn to the boat image. Thank you so much for the tickets and stamped images. Have a great day.
Response: Thank you so much for the kind words and the big heart! I love water, too! Thanks again!
Comment: Charlotte, thank you for the adorable Mother's Day card. I have a photo of my daughter in about the same time frame licking the beaters. They could have been twins. Also thank you for the nice note. My husband is not he pampering type but I still love him. My children are all far away so I won't be seeing them, but flowers will arrive. Shirley
Response: Oh, how sweet! Savor that pic!! You take what you can get on Mother's Day! Flowers are very nice!! Thanks for the heart!!

Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard! It actually gave me a giggle that you haven't even been to North Carolina!! Funny thing is i can't find a "greetings from Ireland" so i'm having to send a normal tourist one until I find one!! Haha! I thought it was going to be easy :)
Hope you have a lovely day!
Response: Haha! I thought it was going to be easy, too! Glad you got a giggle - sending health via postcards! haha Have a great day! What's the toast word in Ireland? Cheers?
Comment: Wow---many thanks for the extra special surprise package....EVERYTHING was perfect and I am thrilled to pieces with the return address labels!! The postcards and notecards are really lovely too.♥ï¸â™¥ï¸

Response: Thank you so much!!! And thanks for the page of hearts!! ((hugs))
Comment: Hahah I love the "rush hour" in Nebraska! So funny! I've never been there but I bet it's beautiful! Thank you!
Response: Why thank you! I've heard lots of negative comments about Nebraska, but that's because the Interstate goes through the most boring part. You have to take the back roads! Thanks for the heart!!!!
Comment: I loved hearing about your adventures in Colorado. One of my favorite trips was to Colorado. I love the mountains and people there. The postcard was very retro and so interesting to look at how Colorado looked back then.
Response: Yes, Colorado has changed, but the mountains are still there! Thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Wow... A church against the Alaskan background - What a cool pc that is . Thank you and thanks very much for the reminder not to doubt. Happy day to you. Oh - Yes - Those jet-boats are fun! Thanks again for everything!
Response: Thanks so much for the heart! I just threw my back out today. Pray for fast healing! Lying on my stomach typing this!
Comment: Yes, that is a very sturdy door, lol! Thanks for searching for it. ;D I do that all the time, I'll read someone's profile and be like, "I have the perfect card -- Now where is it???" Thanks again!
Response: So true! You're welcome and thanks for the heart!!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard, Charlotte! I love that your photo combines your family history :) I love that tea is comforting and familiar and something that brings people together (and has for centuries!). Two of my favorite tea memories are miniseries marathons (Anne of Green Gables, Pride & Prejudice, Sherlock) and themed tea parties with friends over past summers as well as always looking forward to a cuppa at my Australian (she's from Brisbane) voice teacher's house whenever I came over to babysit. Hope you are having a good week!
Response: Why, thank you for the kind words and relating your tea memories! I think tea is underrated here in the states! Thanks, I'm having a great week - hope yours is the same! Thanks for the heart!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely package you sent me! It made me really happy! Love the spoon and the crochet flower I'm guessing you made, it's so cute! The napkins are adorable and the tea and biscotti look so delicious! I can't wait to give them a try. Loved everything you picked out for me, thank you so much! :)
Response: So happy you liked the package! No, I can't crochet, but glad you are so pleased with everything! Yay! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for your very nice PC, I love it. I always watch the TV show of the incredible Dr. Pol and I recognize the red farms on your PC, inspite of he lives in another state. I have never been in the USA, because of that I love to receive PC's from your beautiful country. Have a nice day and happy swapping. Laura
Response: Oh, I hope some day you can come to the USA. It is very big; I have not seen all of it and I live here! I was at the Amsterdam airport a long time ago; I was amazed at all the water! You, too, have a beautiful country.
Comment: Received your lovely postcard today. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my questions on my profile and answer them and for including an extra postcard for me! If I could give you 100 stars I would!
Response: You are so kind! Thanks for the good words and for the heart! Cheers!
Comment: Charlotte, I am so sorry this rating is late. WOW ~ your pictures are incredibly gorgeous! I enjoyed your letter too so much! Thank you again for those beautiful pictures and for joining in! XO Kelly :)

Comment: Super late rating, but thank you for the resend. I loved the washi tapes you sent me. Have a great week!
Response: I'm so sorry that you did not get anything. I sent all of them out at the same time. A "1" rating is very bad. We should try to work this out before you rate me down. I will resend some washi tape right away.
Comment: Thank you for the nice cards. It's nice to get a box full of post cards and enjoying sending them off. A few years ago when I was in my postcard-buying phase, I purchased some boxes where, now, I am wondering how will I be able to use some cards that I dislike now.
Response: Yes, I have the same problem - but you never know - other people might like postcards that you don't! There's no accounting for tastes! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: What a beautiful post card! Thank you for the compliments on my profile, too. You can imagine the looks I get from my kids when we are in a grocery and I decide to go all out and sing to 'em, lol. Priceless Expressions!
Response: Oh yes! Oh yes! Priceless! haha
Glad you liked the card & my postings! Thanks so much for the heart!
Comment: Oh Charlotte, You brought a sunny smile to my face with this swap. I love that the doors open to reveal the owl! I hope you will be making many more of these in the future! Thank you too for the extras! I used to visit the Dells, at least once every summer, during the 40 years that I lived in Tomah, before moving to my dream in the north. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: What a nice connection - such good memories in the Dells, but haven't been for a while. Thanks for the kind comments and glad you liked the house. LOVE the heart!
Comment: Charlotte, thank you so much for your card! I've never heard of "Christ of the Abyss", but the statue looks very impressive and must have been a wonderful sight! I'm glad that you liked your time in Prague. You were lucky to have escaped the flood!
Response: Yes, we were happy to have missed the flood! And the statue was pretty impressive! Thanks for the 5.
Comment: Thank you so much for a great swap! I loved your colorful handmade envie and the postcards you included were wonderful. I, of course really, really liked the bear dancing with the women who I didn't know anything about! Response: Glad you liked the stuff! So glad people like different things - bear dancing is not something I think I want to attempt, but glad someone got a pic of it! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the photos. I always enjoy a good play. I also would love to see more pictures of the country. I am from the country too and I love the views. My parents live on a farm land and I moved to the city so I really miss the country lifestyle.

Response: You're entirely welcome . Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I was a bit disappointed with my ATC. I feel that you could have done more than glue on a picture of peaches. But since you followed the guidelines of the swap, I still gave you the 5. Thanks!
Response: I'm so sorry. I added gems and outlined it with cloth. I also collaged the back. I feel bad that I didn't live up to your expectations.

Comment: Hello Charlotte (that was my grandmother's name and I love it) . . . thank you very kindly for the lovely photos! What a beautiful shot of the Sea of Gallilee...and yes, the birds just make the photo more beautiful. I love the little out-of-the-way cabin, too. Hubby and I both like less touristy destinations. Both are so pretty. Thanks, too, for the neat photo card they came in--what fun to open!
Response: Oh, a comment about the name "Charlotte": it is a trending baby name now! Who knew?

Comment: I rec'd this one and will send it on. Thanks for your warm wishes for my son and the extras! I love old buildings! They have so much character and history! I can always use a bit of good luck and a birdie tag too. I've been to Elkhorn, WI a few times. I was originally from Tomah, and lived in WI for 40 years before coming up here to Alaska. I went to College in Milwaukee and drove the 200 miles twice a week. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry

Also, I wanted to let you know attached to my postcard was another one from you to another swapper, I recall she was from New Bern, NC... I don't have it in front of me. Comment: Hi Charolotte- great pictures, thank you! I love the way you framed the prints, both the barn and the trees wouldn't have been as interesting and attractive if they were brand new and vibrant. It's interesting to think the beauty of certain things come out with age... And thanks for the laugh too!
Response: Glad you liked everything and yes, I agree - sometimes age does beget beauty. Thanks for the awesome heart!

Response: I hope you do get to go! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I LOVE your envelopes Charlotte! I really like that you used travel flyers to make them out of. Going to use that idea! You said this was harder than you thought it would be - I use the Martha Stewart Scoring Board to make my envelopes and it is a cinch with that! Thanks for sending extras! (If you are ever back in Grants Pass - send me a note. Maybe we can meet!)
Response: Thanks for the tip! That would probably help a lot! If I ever go back to Grants Pass, I will let you know! Thank you so much for the heart!
Comment: I love the envelopes you sent! My son-in-law was at the table when I opened them, and he commented, "Those are really neat envelopes." I agree. I also really liked the postcard. Thank you so much!
Response: You're very welcome and thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you very much. My oldest son is trying to get the garden started. My younger son loves the Jack B Little pumpkins. My daughter loves sunflowers. This is going to be something fun for all of us!! Thanks for the recipe, too. I love fresh salsa!!!!!

It is super fun to open with all of these little boxes! I love the address labels and pretty envelopes that you made. A fun magnet for the fridge! a sweet starfish! a pretty elephant necklace! and chocolate! I want to give you more hearts! Thank you so much!
Comment: This was my first swap and your ATC was above and beyond what I expected. I love all the little goodies and read your letter to my husband who is a disabled Vet. Thank you for really making this a great experience!
Comment: thank you so much for the cute ATC this was my first one. I tried to make a good one, I haven't been rated yet, but I think I did it alright. I like the butterflies emphasizing the words, I didn't notice that at first glance, clever!! And the ladeebug was perfect! ha ha A+for you.
Oh I just found the other ladeebugs. so cute.ha ha The oil painting joke was not on the envelope when it got here, but I love your sense of humor. Best wishes.
Comment: Thank you for your package! I was pleasantly surprised with the CD you sent me, deciding to have a little listen before I posted this comment so I could give some feedback. First off, I quite like the singer's voice - quite liquid and almost country in sound at times.. something else I can't quite put my foot on either. The sound of the music reminds me a little of classic acoustic bluesy-soft rock you might hear in some little underground establishment. Lyrically it's not bad either - I've always preferred bands with something meaningful to say in their music, and this fits the bill. Personally - and only speaking for my own tastes - I prefer a little harsher edge to vocals, guitars a bit heavier and a little less background singing. However, I can imagine they'd be nice little band to have playing at some small social gathering, so seems perfect for house gigs - and I can imagine you'd be proud of them too (with all the mainstream crap out there, this kind of thing is a breath of fresh air)! Thank you for this (the fan was really lovely too)! :)
Response: Glad you found the CD interesting - I did take a chance... and you're welcome! :)
Comment: wow- great pc and great story. i know all about riptides. i live 5 minutes from the beach, and i always have. the best thing to do is swim horizonally to the beach, and never fight it :o) it must have been quite an experiance :o)
Comment: Hello Charlotte- Thanks so much for the great map card of Mississippi. This is one of the last ones I needed for my collection, so I am thrilled to get it. You are right - we live on opposite sides of the state. We live right along I-94, just 28 miles from the Minnesota border. My husband drives into the twin cities every day to work, just like most of the other people who live in my county. Hope it's not too cold down there yet. Best wishes, Debbie Christian
