Comment: Oh my gosh, Karen! You are planting a garden already? You are so lucky! I forget how wonderful off shore breezes can be for weather :-) Thank you so much for the Teas. I can't believe you actually found one called Starry Night - It HAS to be one of my absolute favorite pieces of art by Van Gogh. I have even done one in the wine and paint classes...Key Lime Colada sounds really interesting, and oddly enough, I just had Pumpkin Spice coffee yesterday - I love pumpkin anything! Thank you so much again. Love your note and the teas you chose. <3 Thank you!
Comment: Hey Karen wanted to thank you for the postcard, I love it! I don't blame you one bit for wanting a place to 'snowbird' ha! I was born and raised in Southern California and experienced my first time in the snow last year, hated it. Which 9 states are you missing in your journeys? (Just Hawaii, Alaska, Maine, and Michigan for me.) Keep the dream alive and good luck!
Response: I am missing 3 of the same ones as you. Mine are Alaska. Hawaii, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi & Nebraska. I get to check off Alaska this summer. Woohoo!
Comment: Thank you for the tea's. The lemon cake was interesting, didn't care to much for the spice one. We don't get these choices around the mid west, so once again thank you so much for the samples.
Comment: Boo ha ha Great card the Jack o Lantern looks as scared of the knife as the little girl looks scared of the Jack o Lantern. Enjoyed your note and your annual Holiday traditions. Cute embellishments on the back. Thank you for the fun
Comment: Loved the PC & note. I was born in Balto. and I don't live that far from Winchester.Your gardens sound wonderful. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a wonderful summer too. Would love to be your PC PenPal. Just let me know. bearnbabs
Response: It is a small world! I would love to be pc penpals! :)
Comment: Hi Karen! Love your Maryland pc - very colorful! I would love to go to the beach and look for sharks teeth - I am a beach kind of gal! Sign me up! LOL! Yes the weather has been crazy here - the weekend was nice, in the 60's but next weekend it is supposed to get cold again - I am soooo ready for spring and my flip flops! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I loved all the info you included. My husband grew up in Salisbury, MD. I lived 3 blocks from Chesapeake Bay (but in Virginia Beach) for a time. It was nice hearing from you!
Comment: Hello! Thanks for the great train card! Yes, you're right--we met at last year's PC meet-up. Are you going in September? I've got to get to your museum sometime. 50 cents does seem like a bargain. These days, I'm thankful for a 10-dollar bus trip to DC!
Response: I am planning on going in September. You should definitely come and visit the museum.
Comment: I arrive!!! It was worth the wait, I loved the tea and I die for trying them, thank you very much! If you are interested in doing a private tea exchange, just let me know, thank you very much again â¤ï¸
Response: Yea! You are welcome! Glad it finally arrived. It really was snail mail! Yes we can swap some teas! You can send me a message. )
Comment: Thanks for the tea, look forward to trying them out this week. Psst, most tea swaps ask that tape/glue not be used on the bags because people collect them. I don't but someone may try to rate down for stuff like that. :) Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the Maryland PC. I've always wanted to visit since doing a state report in third grade. One day I'll get there!
Update: 7-6-16 Hey, it looks like I did rate when I received it! Go me! I guess pregnancy brain didn't interfere after all.
Comment: Do the sharks lose their teeth all the time? What do you do with them when you find them?
Response: Sharks have several rows of teeth and do lose them. The teeth that we find are fossilized and are at least 5 million years old. We put them in jars and display them. We also find some other fossils such as porpoise teeth, skate plates and porpoise ear bones.
Comment: Hi, thank you for the Maryland postcard. I think, it`s the second one, because you wrote about the snow storm. Saw it in the news here. Thank you again to send a second one. Maybe the first card will arrive someday.
Response: I am happy that one arrived. Hopefully the first one will arrive eventually. It is a different card! :)
Comment: OOOH, now you got me in the "start some seeds early in the house" mood!! Thank you so much for the seeds, stickers and postcard. (I love getting PCs from my partners' hometowns!) Thanks again!--Chari
Response: You are welcome. Glad it got there quickly! Buying them got me in the mood to start seeds too. :)
