Comment: COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE is a sticker? Yay. Thank you so much for thinking of me with Bobs business card! This is reeeeeeeally a frun mix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coupons, band-aids, receipes, etc. Little MIss Muffet almost looks like a cracker box prize. Reeeeeeeeeeally appreciate it!
Comment: Loved reading your answers and loved your humorous response to a few. Especially about the snow filled pot holes being your favorite part of winter (have to admit it's mine too), and collecting dust bunnies. I have too many myself! LOL
Comment: I just loved 'Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine' and I read anything Jodi Piccoult. I thought her latest book 'A Spark of Light' was her best yet, given it was written in a different way to most of her others. As a writer, Jodi is also an interesting and entertaining speaker.
Comment: i am sorry to hear you are struggling, i wanted to let you know i still loved everything you sent me!! thank you for the explanation in the note. very thoughtful. i wish you all the best and hope things resolve soon!!
Comment: What a cute package. Love the lighthouse card and all the goodies. The bandaid for my wallet made me giggle. I remember when I left home, my Dad told me keep a bandaid in your wallet and a roll of quarters in your glove box. I always have both!
Response: Ha! The roll of quarters is great! Did you know they fit inside a pill bottle nicely? Glad you liked them
Comment: Thank you! I absolutely loved the togepi sticker, it was such a surprise to me! It is now a magnet on my desk. Also, despite me not liking history in school, I enjoyed reading about Lewis and Clark, especially the doggo. Thank you so much for the experience, I am quite new to swappa and this one will be quite memorable.
Response: Whew! I stressed finding you some interesting things to send! I am glad you like it. Seaman, Meriwether Lewis's dog is one of my favorite things of L&C history! I play Pokemon Go and ordered the stickers.
Comment: Thank you for taking the time to write a card about your hometown. We have Winco in California too, but not everywhere. I loved the bulk bins, but there are none where I live now, sadly. I have to go to health stores for that.
Comment: Nice to meet you fellow Geocacher. I "really do need" to follow thru and post when I go. My brother does and I just forget. Been going to the local meetings though, have you? Thanks for a lovely postcard. Enjoy the beauty of Autumn.
Comment: Hi Skype buddy! You need to put a pic of Mercedes on your Profile so we can admire her! Love your PC, so what are you going to do with the other 180 of them! The most I have of one PC is 30
"Pete The Cat" PCs, you may get one in the future! FYI: your "postman" box was NOT checked, but it was a substitute today! Thank you!
Response: I have sent/traded the other 175... I have 5 left! I like Pete the Cat! I don't know how to put pictures on my profile or Mercedes would be there! Thanks for letting me know about the "postman" box!
Comment: I can not believe you also have 200 of the same PC. WOW! I really thought I was nuts, but hey for $1 I got a fun project. Thanks for being in the swap. You could start a swap of your own like mine.
Response: I only have 5 of those postcards now, I have worked diligently at getting rid of the 200. I think I paid about the same as you! Glad to know we are both tempted my postcards in thrift stores!
Comment: Hey! Thanks for the postcards and the geocache cards! These are the first I've ever seen! No, I did not make it to Geowoodstock (clever name!). Bet it was fun to meet other catchers. I'm originally from Nebraska and people from NE and WI are pretty much the same. My niece moved from NV to WI and lived here for about 3 years. She said, "Wisconsin people are so NICE!" People across the street saw her moving into her rental and came to help her move in. Guess that's the attitude in flyover country. By the way, you and my daughter are the same age! haha! Keep on being yourself! Thanks for the swap!!
Comment: Thank you for sending the church bulletins. Your church seems a lot bigger than mine. This last Sunday we had 10 people there. The play CHICAGO sounded great. We are going to a Randy Bachman (from BTO) concert this Friday. Can't wait. Thanks again.
Response: Monday Night Services are about 50 people. I haven't attended Sunday Services. It is not a huge church but a good size. Chicago was fantastic! Enjoy your concert!
Comment: Michelle, your package arrived today and I am so blown away by it! I was able to open it and look at it just briefly before I had to start supper this evening, and it just keeps pulling me back. First of all, it's a beautiful book to begin with! I would have had a hard time parting with such a nice blank book - thank you for being so generous! Then I read your intro: your geocaching trip sounds fantastic! How many did you find? If you ever get that close to Evansville again, remember that I have a letterbox hybrid geocache on my front porch and it's a massive ammo can! I also loved your List of Lists! I can't wait to read the rest of it; this has been such a fun swap! Thank you so much for making it a great one, and thank you also for the extras you tucked into it! Extra EXTRA special package - it needs a much bigger heart than the swap-bot program gives!
Response: Aww man on the letterbox hybrid! I go the weekend of Memorial Day on that exciting journey! We had a store going out of business a while back and I had a $50 gift card, I purchased the deeply discounted journals because there was little else to get! I hope the rest of the reading brings you some chuckles. Glad you are pleased with everything! Thank You for the 5♡!
Comment: Mrs Jean is nice and compliments my pretty envelopes. Lol! Only bad thing about a small town post office is her hours and she is closed all day Saturdays! I sometimes have to drive into “town” for a bigger post office./
Comment: Great mix of things-loved the article about the kidney shirt-how amazing was that? Cute picture of kitty-our cats are rescue cats from local shelter but hooray for you to drive that far for her brother! True cat lover! Thanks for sharing!
Response: Oh. We picked them both up at the same time! I loved the story about needing a kidney and had to share it! Have a smashing day!
Comment: I need to start a list of what I read and on which mediums, I’m glad to see the Golden Compass on the list, I really enjoyed the series but it was a bit childish. Another tween-ish book series to look into is Redwall, I read every book in the series up to about 13 books in, I’m not sure if he continued the series aafter I lost track of my mental state for a while. I have the depression back under control again for seemingly good for now... hopefully
Response: Goodreads or a small notebook is really good for keeping reading notes in. I used to keep a journal but stopped as I got anxious about writing a summary/review/opinion on my reads. Glad your depression is under control. Cheers!
Comment: thank you so much for the card. It is great. I also thank you immensely for your support of the military. It seems to be less and less these days
Response: I believe if you cannot stand behind them, stand in front of them but I also see the reality of the cost of service. If you (or a fellow brother/sister) deploy and need a pen friend or a care package, keep me in mind! ♡♡♡ Thank You!!
Comment: Thank you so much for everything you sent, if I could add more hearts I would! I love the letters that spell out my name and the stickers! I am definitely using the sticker sheets in my journal! :D And also the dragon post card, thank you!
Comment: Hello and thank you for the envie filled with goodies. I love it, My grandmother used to bake each my siblings and I our very own favorite pie when we went to visit her. We only ever saw each other every few years. My favorite pie was pecan then. She's since passed but I can't see a pecan pie that I don't think of her. Thanx for the walk down memory lane.
Comment: Thank you for all the goodies. The fortune cookie slips are awesome and the candy corn cookies sound very dangerous. Thank you for sharing the lace with me, what a wonderful thing. I am saving it for extra special projects.
Comment: Michelle, thank you so much for the wonderful Christmas card and the gifts inside it! Thanks also for reading my profile; it made me smile to see a Christmas greeting in German! I loved the postcards, especially the one with the Tiger Lilies; our neighbor has some of these in her front yard and I think they are gorgeous. The cat stickers are sweet; my granddaughter will be begging me to let her use some of them in her craft projects. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
Response: Large or small swaps, I try to read the profiles and do something to make it a personal touch! I'm glad it brought you a smile! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you so much for eveything you sent me and I love the very sweet pics of all the cats.Thank you for telling me the story of the 2 kittens. It touched my heart and its so nice to know that there's others out there that really loves an cares about animals like I do.I think you're a very special person with a big heart an as far as those kittens go...how they got better an everything. That proves a little love an caring can do amazing things!!If I could I'd give you many hearts!
Response: Leo & Raven are settled into their new Furever Home and they didn't much care for carving pumpkins but are playing in the kid's plastic pumpkin candy buckets! I didn't intend to foster kittens it just happened and I'm happy that it did!
Comment: Love your in depth list. I have no idea what no. 82 means, it's like another language and I haven't a clue!
Response: High Fives? When you slap your hands together in joy and like an "Atta boy" with someone. They will now bump fists afterwards and when they "blow it up" it is done with sound effects and they bump the fists and open the hand up like an explosion from the fist and retract it at the same time. It is a very young person's thing and it makes me extremely happy when one of my elderly patients call me on it and say "You didn't bump fists or blow it up!"
Comment: 09/02/2017--Michelle, you made me cry, I can not express your kindness in words. Thank you ever so much for thinking of me. I live 2 hrs away from where hurricane harvey made landfall. We got some very strong winds that made some minor damage to my home and alot of rain. Hundred hearts for you...happy swapping.
Response: I hope things are calming down for you and you continue to manage the stress of the aftermath. Thank you for rating. ♡♡
Comment: Thank you for the PCs and stickers Michelle! Yes I have received that one from you before, 150 of the same hehe but it is a very cool one, I do love it and I will use it for postcrossing for sure and send it to a happy home somewhere in this big wide world :D
Response: I will never buy 150 postcards again. No matter how good the price is! I'm glad you were a good sport about It! I do like the bright yellow of It. Have a great day!
Comment: Haha, so you should know that I actually received this on my birthday! So my unbirthday is apparently on my birthday! :)
It sounds like you had a great walk! Let me know if you make a swap of that--I'd love to join!
Response: I do plan to make the swap about walking and making the notes. It was super fun. I am working out ideas and details. Happy Birthday!!!
Comment: First up, a heart for the quilt block you drew on the envelope. Your stream of consciousness note made me chuckle. THEN I finally got around to the contents. Fun stuff. Thanks! P.S. 1: I wish my home library looked like the one from the castle! :) P.S. 2: Did you win a library bingo prize? :)
Response: I did win a prize!! I won a free 1 hr photo shoot with one of the photographer's from out local newspaper shop! My son and I haven't done photos in about 3 years! So very happy! I am also a quilter but very slow! And I'd really like that library!
Comment: Loved all my goodies!
My chickens- I have a mixture, silverlaces, polish, frizzles, silkies, and americauna. I like the different, pretty ones: I have only 15 though!
Thank you for the package :)
Comment: Hi! Thank you so much for the happy note. I too try to keep my eye on the positive things that have happened during the day and try not to focus on the negatives. Thank you for the extras you included. I really like the postcard!
Comment: Thank you so much for the fun stuff, note, and extras! On the stamp question, I think it depends on what the recipient likes to do. As a childhood collector, I would soak the stamps off the envelope, but some people are postmark collectors, so ...
Response: Didn't I opt to send it attached to the envelope still? I have soaked them off. But I never know exactly what people are doing with them. So I usually leave them attached to the envelope and just tear/trim a buffer around them. Have a great day!
Comment: Michelle, thank you for your reading log. I am not going to rate you down for sending late because I know very well the stresses of life. You read quite a lot of different books! :) Happy reading!
Comment: It is so funny that you sent me a postcard of Multnomah Falls. My daughter and I are headed to Portland, next week, and Multnomah Falls is on our to do list. I have been, a few times, but this will be her first time seeing them (she is 5).
Comment: Hi Michelle. I really like the Dragon robe card. My sister lives in Oregon so she might get the slug in her mailbox. :-) And I find the contrast between the manger scene and the ultramodern facade of the temple to be interesting too. Thanks!
Response: I <3 the Oregon slug postcard! It's hilariously odd.
Comment: Wow, that was beamed over pretty fast! I am not sure what you are asking of which is the most and least favorite... of what? the extras you sent or the tumbler patterns? If it's the tumbers, I would say the favorites were the stripe with the dots between them, the elephants, the black background with orange swirls. least favorite were the 80's looking plaid square checks, The farm animals on blue check and the Christmas candy canes. The New Mexico Balloon Crew with the feather thing was neat as it turns out I have a cousin there that owns a hot air balloon! Lobe the cute candy wrapper tape measure. I will throw it in my purse as I will never know when I need one when I am out and about. Had a chuckle over Hello Kitty as I have a rescued cat (Pure white we are working on an adopter and I named her Hello! LOL ) Enjoyed the fairy card, I will cut out and save the images for ATC's. Thanks for your trade. Hope my stuff is there soon.
Response: I think Scottie beamed our packages quickly! We both received on the same day. When I seen your tumblers I thought "Oh she will The elephants are fun! I got that fat quarter at Christmas for $1 at the shop near where my aunt lives. Glad you liked everything! Have a wonderful day....
Comment: Thanks so much for the wonderful letter (on awesome Hello Kitty paper!)!
Thanks for the book mentions - I'll go and look some of them up! I also hope you can reach your reading goal this year - I'm trying for 52!
Comment: Thank you for the great log of books. The Shanghai one sounds good. I just started reading "Casting Off" right now... whata' hoot!! Heard the elephant book was good. Thanks for books to look-up.
Response: I hope you enjoy Casting off. Shanghai Girls was a good book!
Comment: thank you for all the goodies! i love it all! the stationary is so pretty, and i'm already using the stamps and the pens! :) i love the little bee and dragon you sent as extra too! they'll make great additions to my growing miniature collection! thanks again for all the supplies!
Response: I am happy that you like everything. I had a lot of fun with the envelopes. I thought you'd like the dragon and bee I have several and had a hard time picking which ones to send. Glad you liked them.
Comment: thanks so much for all the lovely goodies i was all excited opening this package had lots of stuff to look at :) also i have to say i loved the little file folder thing you made to put the papers in to keep them safe such a unique idea hope you have a wonderful valentines thanks so much
Comment: Yay! Thanks for joining this swap and sending to me. I've never had an advent calendar before, so I'm really looking forward to opening the little treats all December up to Christmas. It will be a real challenge I think...just like getting all these little gems to fit into a small flat rate box, LOL!!! Oooooo, I can't wait!!!
Response: You are more than welcome! I had so much fun putting this swap together for you! I just wished I could remember which days I put certain gifts in as I'm eager to find out your reaction to certain days!
Comment: ohhh your huge box of lovely goodies just arrived- seriously - how am I supposed to wait til dec 1st to start opening!!!!
Response: Oh yes I am wondering the exact same thing! How am I suppose to have the will power to not open them but one day at a time! And I signed up for two of these swaps! I hope you like everything!!!
Comment: Thanks for sharing your kitchen. I totally hear you on the crappy linoleum ~ we have sun-stained peel-n-stick tiles I would love to replace, but it's still pretty far down on the priority/budget list!
Comment: Hi Michelle,
I just love the notecards and Thanks ever so much, and Thanks for the note again about being a Foster Parent. Not all are greatful to foster parents. Your a special person!
Response: That's why I Thank You! I know people don't say that often enough!
Comment: love all of the note cards!! especially the really neat ones that are their own envelope... if that makes sense (sounded better in my head)... where can i order some!?!?
Response: I got those at an estate sale in a huge box of cards, stationary and such...paid a small price for the box and it was FULL of treasures! Including some old love letters...that the family didn't want!
Comment: My older daughter will be studying about Lewis & Clark this year, so your postcard was quite timely. Didn't know that many towns there are named Lewiston and Clarkston. Now we'll have to find some of them on the map!
Response: Clarkston is in WA but its a 2 minute drive across a bridge here.
Comment: Michelle, thanks for your reading log. We don't read the same type of books but I do love Jodi Piccoult's stuff. Since you liked Plain Truth I'd really recommend Handle With Care & The Tenth Circle. These are my favorites of hers. Thanks for the postcard too, that rolling farmland is very beautiful!
Response: I am currently listening to 19 minutes. I purchased Handle with Care and Tenth Circle...I can't wait to read them and the farmland is very pretty!
Comment: Thanks for your reading log. You asked for suggestions about reading great books: I'd suggest either Jane Eyre of Price and Prejudice before you tackle Anna Karenina -- the two English books are a bit more fun and the Russian names can get you confused fast -- although I think Anna is a more important book and you should read it sometimes. There are a bunch of American classics too, like Scarlet Letter and My Antonia and Huck Finn and Moby Dick and lots more.
Comment: Thank you for all of the cute envelope stuff, and the two charms! I hope "Samantha" (I liked Sampson better) is doing alright, and that work is going well for you. Awesome journal, glad you were my partner for this swap! (= Oh, and, Why IS a raven like a writing desk?! I'll never know.
Response: My boyfriend said that a raven and a writing desk both have inky quills! (nerd) Sampson is MIA, and everything else is going well. I am so glad you liked everything. TY for the heart!
Comment: I would love to see a bunch of hot air balloons all at once like that.
Response: It is awesome! Nite Glow is the best! They tether the balloons to the ground after dark and they fire up the burners on the balloons so they are these giant glowing laterns of color! So pretty!
Comment: This totally made my day brighter! I absolutely LOVE the wolf postcard as well as all of the other fun things. I thought I would mention I am a huge Hoops and Yoyo fan and didn't realize there were stickers of them! I am looking forward to using the stickers and cut outs in my work. hehe! Thank you so much!
Response: I am glad you liked everything! The Hoops and Yoyo stickers were at Wal-mart by the greeting cards! I love them! LOL
Comment: Thank you for the very thoughtful envie and letter! I went to the site and it was great! My hubby has been to one in California but I have not. I love the stickers and so will my kids (cats), lol. The tissue is beautiful. Hugs & Hearts, Mona
Response: I'm glad you liked everything! Thank You for the rating!
Comment: Hello Michelle,
Thank you for the 5 postcards you sent to me for this swap. Each is unique and different and all are ones that add and enhance my postcard collection. One of my favorites is the barn postcard because I really enjoy barns. I look forward to addiing these to my postcard collection. I hope we have more opportunities to swap with one another during 2010. Until we meet again, Happy Swapping!!!
Response: I am happy you liked the Postcards! I should go get a few more of the barns because its been very popular with the postcard crowd.
Comment: Thank you VERY much for the grand selection, and your lovely note. I really appreciate the time and care you took. Hope your week is going wonderfully...for clearly you deserve the best! Sincerely, Deborah (in Oxnard, CA)
Response: Thank You...Its going well! I wish you the best also!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great notecards! I love them all and appreciate that you took the time to look at my profile and see what I would like! :) I also enjoyed your "chatty' letter!!! Thanks again! :)
Comment: Thanks for the sunflower card. Sunflowers are my favorite flower and I plan to attempt to plant a sunflower garden next summer. Hope you have a great 2010.
Response: I'd start them indoors first and then transplant them outdoors. I forgot where you are at but in Idaho we have to jumpstart the growing season on almost everything we can. Good Luck with them!
Comment: Thank you for your personal note. I received all of my cards and only two had a personal touch. To me, that is what swapping and Christmas is all about. I hope you have a blessed Christmas. I have a lot of Debbie Macomber books that are fairly new. If you need any titles, let me know. I would be happy to send them to you.
Response: I tried to write personal notes on all my cards because well Christmas is personal! I'd love some new titles...
Comment: Hi Michele, it's funny that you asked about snow???? That's on the forecast for this Wednesday...So far, they have been wrong, and I am very happy about that..I love to be able to get out and walk to where I need to go, and not rely on others to drive me...Thanks for the card...
Comment: Thank you so much for the card and bookmarker plant. Took me a while to understand what kind it is, lol. That is really cool. I never knew ppl could do that. How did you come across those? Were they free? I'd like to help with something like that. Thank you sooo much!!
Response: I got them at our library! For free and then after the show was over they were going to toss them so I said I'd take a handful! I thought they were fun...
Comment: Thanks for the card. I think you must have confused me with somebody else though. You said congrats on my wedding, but unless you know something I don't know, I've been married over 20 years. :)
Response: I must have misread your profile as saying "I'm getting married" instead of "I am married to a really great guy"
Comment: Thank you very very much for your super extra package and all presents. You made me nice day and surprised me a lot. I´m looking forward to try and taste all your items. Bookmark looks very interesting, I have never seen this before. I want to give you more hearts, so here they are: ♥♥♥♥♥.
Comment: Thanks for all the extras, love the little note pad, did you make that yourself? I have always thought about it but never figured out what kind of glue to use to bind the pages all together. Sorry to hear about your eardrum, hope things get better soon!
Response: my uncle works at the graphic design department and those were made there. He brought me a bunch for swaps. Its Lewiston, ID on the note pad. My ear will heal with time.
Comment: Thanks for the incredible swap. Who would believe so much goodness could come out of such a little envie? Thanks for the notepad, too! I love the fact that your uncle had something to do with its production.
Comment: Hi Michelle,
I got your package today =) Thank you sOo much!! If I could I would give you 5 hearts!! You're so thoughtful! ^_^ I really like the pennies, postcards & the info on the area where you got the pennies. Very sweet!! It was definitely worth the wait. THANK YOU!! =)
Comment: Hugs hi, Thanks for the great tea. I like the paper too. Yes we must get together some time. Let me know when your on the island. I have been to Lewiston actually more like through it many times on the way to some place else. However its been a long time.
Comment: Thanks for the great letter and the stickers. I love Mickey Mouse. I just completed an old fashioned Mickey Mouse Album for scrapbooking. It was fun. Hope you have a great week. Linda
Response: I have a great mickey mouse punch with a circle and Mickey in the circle and everything else cut out. I could make you a few simple tags with this if you'd like. My sister is a Mickey fanatic.
Comment: I'm sorry for the delay in rating. Your answers were cool. I'll have a look at the YouTube video. Thanks for the link
And so you know the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankess play Major league baseball :)
Response: Most the time I can't tell you a team in a sport, let alone a player to a team or actually a player to a sport either. I feel bad about it now and then but I truly have little joy in watching it on TV, Now my kid playing is another story!
