Comment: Ah! Highlander is my FAVORITE fandom ever! And Connor is a great name :-) I'm watching Doctor Who from the beginning as well--but I'm not quite done with the first doctor yet. Best of luck. You definitely have some great geek cred. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: I did the same thing you did in algebra, but in geometry! And I spent the time in my pal's dance class. As for watching every ep of Doctor Who...it's impossible! Some eps from the 60s were lost in a fire. :(
Comment: i liked both of your boards. I need to separate my "big cats" from domestic cats now too. I liked how you chose so many that were all different from what I'd seen from everyone else in this swap!!! TY, Rachel ^ Q^
Comment: How, how, Cute! Wow! I had to laugh, because I just started my 90-Day Challenge Weight Loss program! I love it! Thank You! I have it posted up... It arrived with no stamps? Strange, but I got it! Maybe they fell off? Either way, you went all out! God Bless You!
Comment: Thanks for the info. I have low thyroid too and it isn't much of an issue. I guess if you are replacing all of the hormone you need instead of just some, it is harder to regulate. Hope you get it figured out.
Comment: From all the emails I received I loved your the most! It says so much about you, your situations. I think you are very interesting person because only those who have problems in their life are interesting to talk to in my opinion! :)
Comment: Thanks so much for your list. I love the blog format rather than the traditional e-mailed list and descriptions. It made me think about creating a book blog of my own since I'm such a book nerd, haha.
Response: Thank you for visiting my blog, and thank you for the heart!
Comment: Sorry it took me so long to get you rated for this swap. I enjoyed reading about your challenges and seeing the photos you included. I'm sorry you recently lost such a valuable journal, and I can see how that would inhibit you a bit about setting things down in writing again. But I'm glad you decided to participate in this journal swap. Thanks for the stuff included. I really like the hot pink nail polish. And I can always use bookmarks since I am an avid reader as well. I enjoyed your insights on the book list you included. :)
Response: I am glad you enjoyed the package, thank you for the heart!
Comment: Ahoy, Matie! Yoho and thank you so much for all of the treasures! I am making a little pirate book, and I will use the cute items you sent to decorate the pages! I appreciate your generosity! Take care!
Comment: Oh, yeah! Thank you for the awesome goodies - all wonderfully chosen, but the cigar bands, vintage ladies, and almanac pages were my particular favorites. And what cool ATCs - going onto my display shelf ASAP.... As for the zine, a true treat for the eyes. Yummy men, with some of my old favorites, and a couple new to me. yes, I have yet to see Avatar, but it's on my list! And I'm a Jack Sparrow fan as well - I actually recreated the headband and hairbeads last Halloween - they came out amazingly...should post pics sometime.
Thanks for an awesome swap - will trade again with you anytime! Hugs,
Response: I am glad that you enjoyed the package-- It was so much fun trading with you! I'm glad it arrived safely. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Hello Jessica,
Thank you for the journal you sent for the "Lournal List" Swap. It arrived on Jan 6th in great condition. I had a wonderful time reading through your 36 lists and it gave me some great ideas for future lists for future lists swaps or other lists projects. I was really interested in your book list because I am an avid reader so I know I will be visiting your blog to read reviews on some of the books. Some others that interested me were the color lists, places you've been, lessons you learned, and uses for a toothbrush. I enjoyed your Journal List Journal. Happy Swapping in 2010.
Response: I am glad that you enjoyed the lists. I had fun trying to come up with interesting lists. I cheated on the color list- I had to use the net- you can't imagine how hard it was to come up with 100 different shades of blue, purple, and black. Thank you for the nice comments and the heart!
Comment: neat card! I've used that technique myself, mostly to see if the temporary tattoo would even work on paper. It does and you get a cool transluscent effect--I keep meaning to do more with the techique. You did a good job!
Comment: I finally finished reading through your journal tonight. I took my time as I didnt want to skim through any of it. You where so indepth and open with all of it and it made it a wonderful read. I want to truely thank you for doing the exchange with me and for bieng willing to send off something that obviously took so much work.
It was amazing!
Response: I am glad that you enjoyed it. I put so much heart into it that I felt sort of sad to let it go. But I kept photos of it ;-)
Comment: Thank you for visitng my profile and etsy! :-) and HAPPY HALOWEEN to you. It's sad that haloween is not a famous celebration in Malaysia... nothing fancy happens here... but i'm sure you will have fun there!
Comment: An interesting list. If you like good vampire stories I'd suggest the first 9 books of the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. (Starts with Guilty Pleasures). I am especially intrigued with Collage Unleashed and will go check the library here as soon as I finish writing this to see if they have it. = )
Response: I'm glad you found some interesting new picks... I'll chaeck out Anita Blake, thanks!
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard. Life is special in all species. Love the moth. Notice I didn't say butterfly. Begin a science teacher, I noticed immediately. I see so many sticker cards where they will label a moth as a butterfly. I love moths! I think they are more beautiful than butterflies, but not as appreciated.
Comment: How fun and lively your postcard is! Sorry it took so long to rate....sometimes I get lost on my way to rating, then days later, I look through all my cards and say....oh ! rating! Wishing you a dry summer vacation!
Comment: I love your package! When the mailman handed it to me, I thought, "Huh... the stuff in here is pretty oddly shaped for this swap..." After I read your note, I have to hand it to your husband... he's brilliant! I would never have thought about using soap holders. Thank you (and him) for such a great swap!
Comment: Thanks for the shout out =) I enjoyed your blog, the paint swatches inspired me to go get some of my own, what a fabulous idea! Thanks for sharing!
Oh and P.S. =) I checked out your book blog (very cool btw) and just wanted to tell you that #60 on your list, The Secret Life of Bees is a fantastic book (I can't wait to see the movie too), one of my favs, as well as #124 The Lovely Bones, also on my list of must reads, so get reading! =D
Response: Thank you for the heart! I'm glad you enjoyed visiting my blog and thanks for taking the time to actually read some of it!
Comment: WOW...What great atc's,,they are amazing..Jacks earring is the cleverest thing ever, how creative, the skull and bones on the other one is a great added extra,,I am just totally amazed with Alisha's art...The book mark is so very cool, every time I look at it I will think about a little girl that someday will be a great artist .. great extras..You earned more than just 1 heart if only I could give you more..But I do thank you with the 1 that I can give..
Comment: I love all the bookmarks you sent me! Its so exciting to receive something from someone, and even more so when that someone makes it special. You get a heart! And don't worry about my soul, Jesus already has it.
Response: I am glad that you liked the bookmarks and thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you Jessica for the lovely dottees you made for me...
Yours will be in the mail saturday I have emailed you and told you why you had not received on time.
I'm on my ways to post on my profile as well...
Response: Thank you for letting me know what happened. I am truely glad that you received the dotees and that you like them. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Sorry for the delay - he hid the package from me! And, I must say, it's the best package he's ever received! You made his day! I don't think anyone's ever picked out more perfect goodies for him! :D
Response: Yay!! I was getting worried about it. I had hoped the mail didn't eat it. I'm so glad that he liked the stuff. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I hadn't checked to see who my partners were for this swap, so I was absolutely *thrilled* to get a package from you today! And I certainly did NOT wait to open any of the pressies! I greedily tore into all of them. :o) I'd seen the bits to make things like that star but had never actually seen one made up. That's ***neat***! I wore the bracelet all evening, and am going to have to make an effort to keep it away from my daughter who also loves it. And the fabric bookmark is brilliant! (though if it won't offend you, I think I'll try gently undoing a seam on one end and use it to carry crochet hooks safely in my purse cause I think it would be super ultra cool for that!) **Thank you so much!!**
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed everything. I really enjoyed making these packages. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks so much for sharing your wishes! Some of them weren't very selfish though, which says to me you are a loving and generous person! I hope to swap with you again in the future! blessings, Gypsy
Comment: OMG what an awesome package!! I love the tarot cards!! The little duckies are awesome! I love the bracelet too! The magnets are on my fridge! And thanks for the little trinkets too! I'm sure I'm forgetting something! But thanks so much! You've restored my faith in swapping!
Response: I am so glad you liked your package! I really hoped that I'd read your profile right and that most of it would suit you.
Comment: Thanks for the ATCs, I will definately add them to my growing collection.
Response: THANK YOU for the heart! I am so glad you liked them! The mermaids were some of my favorites and I had a hard time parting with them, but I knew someone out there would enjoy them just as much.
Response: I fell in love with her while I was looking for ideas to paint on the sketchbook. When I read in your profile that you liked tattoos and pinups, I knew she was meant for you! I'm so glad you like her.
Comment: Jess!!! Thanks so much for all these great ATCs! Aww, the fingerprint birdies are soo ADORABLE!! Neat how you did multicolor fingerprints, very neat idea! Also, thanks so much for all the extra ATCs! The owls are too cute, probably my favorite out of those ;) You did a great job! BTW, yes I am a member of that group but I haven't gotten the hang of it yet, mebbe I'll go figure it out :P 100+ hearts for you!
Response: I'm glad I could make you smile today! Thanks for the heart and i look forward to swapping with you again sometime.
Comment: I love the newspaper ATC!!! Great Job! love the bird at the mail box:) I am also glad I didn't go ripping through the paper to get to it even as exited that I was to get a trade! I will have to try the origami! Thanks so much! Wanda
Response: I love my new eyelet setter! I'm glad you liked it... The origami pages were from a calendar I bought a couple of years ago but never used, I think the paper makes nice ATC sleeves. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hey! Thanks for all the neat bookmarks.
I wish I'd have thought of a stiff piece
of cardboard inside the envelope for support. Great Idea! I also like the swap card made on a "paint chip" idea! Thanks! ~Dawn
Response: I'm glad you liked them... I told my hubby I needed a few freebie bookmarks and he's still bringing them home! I guess I'll just load up another envelope for the next swap.
Comment: I LOVE them. I no longer have my grandmothers. Yours are a treasure. Thanks for the stories on the back. I've been to Sapulpa. Brenda
Response: I grew up knowing all 4 of my grandparents, plus 4 of my great-grandmothers and 1 great-grandfather. As a child I spent time with each of them, and shared some very happy memories. I miss each of them. Only my grandma Avis is alive today. I'm glad though that my gaughter got to meet her Gaga and Omi and spend time with them before they passed away. I know she'll grow up with some nice memories of them as well.
Comment: I love the card with the snowmen inchies. And the other cards were cute as well. Yes, lots of people do the "vintage" thing with their cards, but I really like you style on the "Clue" cards. Thanks for sharing them with me!
Response: I'm glad you liked them. Thanks for understanding and helping me though my very first swap!
