Comment: How could I not love your swap Kaleena with your craziness in preparation. You sketched one if my favourite things!!! The cardinal is awesome!!! I’ll use it in a junk journal. I plan on doing a bird journal so it will be perfect. Many thanks 🌺
Comment: Wow, Merry Christmas!! The mailman just brought me your cute Christmas card. I really enjoyed your nice note. Your cookies sound delicious! My niece Molly has Covid now, she’s only 10 😢. So far she’s doing pretty good, just really bad sore throat. I’m praying that’s the worse it gets. Hope your family is well. Thanks for the card and the cute bag with all the awesome stamps!! Take care, Judy
Comment: All of the hearts! 💚💚💚 If only I still lived in Georgia (Grovetown) — we would have so much fun hanging out. Thank you for your wonderful letter and goodies. That ATC is so cool! I need to learn how to make some. That little bird is too cute. I hope you guys are still healthy and that Grandma is ok. Yes, being apart from family is no fun. We miss them all terribly. Thank you for the prayers and now I’ll say some prayers for you (and yours) as well.
Comment: Hi! I hope you had a very merry Christmas! We also made cookies this year (a wide variety :P)-- the cookies you made sound delicious! Thank you so much for sharing that funny memory about your brother; definitely sounds like something my brother would do too, lol. I hope you have a very happy New Year!!! Stay safe!!!
Comment: Thanks for the 'chunk' and your nice note. I always wonder if the those people on products - Sara Lee, Captain Morgan, Chef Boyardee, Famous Amos, Mrs. Fields... - are real or not. Now I know about: "Little Debbie" McKee.
Comment: The simple things that we used to do everyday without thinking are totally the things I miss the most. I would love to go to a coffee shop or a bookstore and just hang out! I love the card and its unique shape. Hope you are having a great fall.
Comment: Oh, extra hearts for this one!! :D Your weekend was amazing and it was so fun to read about!! And I adore your squirrel stationery! And the envelope and extras were cool. Thank you, thank you! ♥♥♥!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it!!! It was such a great weekend. I'm glad I could share it with you!! Happy swapping!
Comment: This has to be one of the most wonderful swaps I have ever recieved. Incredible. I loved the stickers and washi tape, perfect. I loved the sticky notes, you can never have enough! And I completely loved the letter! I loved reading it! I also learned an incredible trick, how to add a page to a notecard. How have I never known that! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Response: I'm so glad you like it!! I love sending you swaps because it's fun to use all my outdoorsy stuff. You also are a very thoughtful swapper so it's fun to pay it forward!! If there is a good way of making a letter longer I'm going to make it happen!! I'm so bad at getting to the point! Like this respond!! You're welcome and thank you!! 😁
Comment: Thank you for the nice notecard and extras. So kind of you! One plus of the pandemic is that it's given us the time to try new things. I'm sure your drawing is beautiful. Take care and stay safe!
Response: You're welcome and I agree, this has become one of my favorite hobbies.
Comment: Cute cat card and stickers. I liked your nice mail art too! Great scripture you chose. I agree that writing verses out is good. It helps us to be in His Word & continually learn more about how He wants us to live. It is so true that He is in control even when the world around us is in chaos!
Response: I'm glad you reiterated all that back to me because I really needed that reminder! Things have been so crazy!! I hope you are doing well and happy swapping!!!
Comment: Kaleena, you did awesome with your 15 minute challenges. Way to go! I know what ya mean about being able to do a lot in 15 minutes (and if not able to complete it in 15 minutes, at least it gets me started and that always seems the worst part to me. lol) Thanks for joining and I hope you'll keep participating in them. Have a nice weekend! (Hugs)
Response: Thanks!! You're right! The worst part is just getting started!!! This has been fun trying to see how much I can get done in 15 minutes. I'm already signed up for the next one. See you then!!! Have a great weekend yourself!!!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome envelope! The goodies and packaging are so cool.
What are you and your husband carving your pumpkins into?
Response: I'm glad you like it!!! So far we haven't carved the pumpkins. We have been painting them this year because of the kids but they have turned out really well. So far I've made Mike Wazowski, Frankenstein and a cat silhouette on a fence.
Comment: Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to write on every inch of the note card! I love reading long messages and it was so nice of your to share a little piece of your life with me. We have "The Dangerous Book for Boys", my son and I read/worked through most of the book! They make one for girls too! I wish you the very best!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it!! No matter how much room I have it is never enough!! The issues of an oversharer!! 😁 I hope the girls' book is just as cool as the one for the boys and not how to set a table for house guests. That just doesn't compare to juggling!! All the best to you!!!
Comment: Wow - this is the fastest I've ever had someone send their swap after assigning partners (it's like you were sitting there waiting for partners to be assigned. 😂 😂 I do plan on hosting this swap again in the near future so keep watch for it! Good job on getting your things done that needed to be. It's a win, for sure! 😀
Response: Thanks for hosting!!! I'm going to sign up for this again!
Comment: Omg this was adorable!! Thank you so much! <3 I feel totally inspired by the little PL flipbook you made and I can't wait to use that idea in mail I make in the future! Also the tiny clover stickers are so cuuuuuute 🍀
Response: It was so much fun to make!! I love mini mail!! Thank you for hosting!! Those stickers are so cute and so hard to use!! The little stinkers get away from my fat fingers!! 😂 I hope your have better luck with them!!! 😁
Comment: What a lovely envelope and letter. As I opened it, whole family gathered around to admire this masterpiece complete with waxed seal . We ooooed and awwwwd over it! It may not be your style but boy did you nail vintage!! I will send back a letter. I loved this. Thank you!!
Response: I'm glad I got it right and even more that you liked it!! The wax seal seems to make anything vintage. 😁 Can't wait to hear from you!!
Comment: Thanks so much for your letter! I thought the seals turned out very well :) If you don't mind an irreverent take on the apocalypse then Good Omens which Terry Pratchett wrote with Neil Gaiman would be a good choice to see his style and it's not part of the series. The Discworld books are loosely attached to each other and I would recommend the first two (The Colour Of Magic and The Light Fantastic). If you enjoy those, you -can- read the rest out of order, though it's best to read the ones that follow certain characters in order. Hope you are staying safe, take care! :)
Response: Thanks for the book recommendations!! I'm glad you liked the swap as well.
Comment: Oh my goodness, I can't tell you how much I loved this!!! I was excited from the second I saw the envie .. then when I opened it up and saw the contents, it just kept getting better and better!! Thank You SO much for all the work you put into this swap!!!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it!! I was so in love with this swap!! Sometimes you just get a good idea and then it actually comes to life. You are so welcome!
Comment: I love your use of recycled materials! I showed my boyfriend before opening the envie and he was amazed! =) That goodie bag too was so much fun, like wow! Cool! I am going to go simple this year for my costume but I am looking forward to a year off. I am joining tons of Halloween card swaps this year as a plan to use them as decorations for my desk at work! =) Happy Halloween!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! That's a great idea to use the swaps to decorate your desk. I might do that too! Happy Halloween!
Comment: What an amazing and thoughtful swap! Thank you so much! I loved the cute envelope full of surprises. And I LOVED the letter! I had never heard of Lost Sea Cave, I checked it out and it's only 2 hours from my daughters house. Next time we are out to visit we are going to have a roadtrip! Thanks for the adventure idea!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it!!! I hope you get to do the Lost Sea. It's one of my favorite childhood memories. You are so welcome!
Comment: pSERsonality test? Shoot, the envie is so cute I thought it from another swap! LOL Hey, I want your personality, LOL, 'cept a few. LOLOLOLOL
Response: Lol I have a problem with the envelopes. It's just one of my favorite parts!! When you see something pretty in the mailbox it is just the best!! And yes, my personality comes with a lot of good stuff and a lot of bad stuff. Definitely a mixed bag!! 😂 Happy swapping!!!
Comment: This postcard *is* very...odd. But if you look at it from a whimsical perspective it could be quite pretty. I’m just imagining the girl running through the field brandishing her butterfly net at nothing, and laughing maniacally while the photographer snaps away. 😂 Yep, this one gave me a good laugh. Thanks!
Response: Lol your message gave me a laugh as well so this was all around a win!! You're welcome!!
Comment: Your letter put such a smile on my face, thank you. I've been having great weekends, although our weather has not been as nice as yours. This summer I haven't had to water our flowers at all as it has been raining pretty much every day, we've had a few nice days but those days were when I was out of town and I only heard about them. Finally September is here and we are having less rain and some nice days. When I go to see our grandchildren (12 and 7) we play a lot of board games, Sequence is one that we enjoy paying with all of us including their parents. I am trying to teach our 12 year old grandchild how to play crib, she's starting to get it. I'm glad to see you had such a great weekend and that you had so much fun, thank you for sharing it. And the stamps - Janis Joplin - how cool is that, thank you!
Stay healthy and strong.
Response: I'm glad you liked the letter!! I'm sorry you haven't had good weather!!! It's a good excuse though to stay inside and play board games!! We've had a great time with that too since our kids are getting a little older. Sequence is a great one!! Thanks for sharing with me as well!!
Comment: Thank you for the letter you sent me. I loved how you decorated your letter. Thank you for the wax seal buttons! I hardly ever receive those as an item goody even though I have the supply to make them myself lol. I also loved the dog postcards so thank you!
Response: The was seal are so special!! I hardly ever make them but they are a nice touch. I'm glad you liked everything!
Comment: Thanks for the nice note. I'm glad your family got to spend time together at the beach 🏖️ this summer. Love the washi you sent too. Our summer was quiet but fun. Fishing with the grandsons and lots of kayaking on PA. Lakes.
Response: You're welcome. Your summer sounds wonderful too! I love kayaking.
Comment: Wow!! I love everything about this swap, thank you soooo much! I need to know what book these images are from because they are absolutely beautiful. You were right about paper source, its one of my favorite places in the whole world 😁
Response: The book is actually horrible for this!! LOL it's a book about a veterinarian, James Herriot and every page has random things like sewing animals up and giving cows cesarean sections or other gross medical procedures. I didn't realize when I bought it. LOL Luckily it does have some good pictures in the margins. 😂😂😂 I'm glad you liked the swap! I struggle with vintage.
Comment: OMG!!! Thank you for the lovely transfers!! They came out SO GOOD! Did you let them soak for a really long time or something? I always get impatient LOL. I love them!!! <3 <3 And thank you for joining my swap! :D
Response: You're welcome!! They did come out great and I was so surprised!!! I mostly used magazines, which seemed to work really well for me and I used hot water. They came off after soaking about five minutes. I'm glad you like them!! I hope they are your taste. Thank you so much for hosting this swap. These are a new favorite for me!!
Comment: Thanks for the card and the extra goodies! I’ve never tried to do tape transfers - these are so cool! And I like how you decorated the envelope too! If you’re interested in seeing some of my art, I’d be happy to send you a postcard. Just let me know! :)
Response: I'm glad you liked the transfers! Sometimes these swaps teach you something new!! I would love to see one of your postcards!!
Comment: Hi Kaleena! Thanks for your letter on such lovely paper, and for the extras - very sweet of you :) I am familiar with all the cartoons you mentioned. The Flintstones and The Jetsons are some great ones!! Have a great weekend :)
Response: You're welcome. Oh to be young and watch cartoons again!! Have a great weekend as well!!
Comment: I really like your Fall bucket list. I think it's those everyday kinds of things that we do with the changing of seasons that we are really missing. Thanks bunches for the buttons--I am always so happy to get buttons. The washi is so pretty, too.
Response: You're welcome! I hope you have something good planned for this Fall.
Comment: Wow the washi tape you used to decorate the letter pages are gorgeous! Thank you for the letter and washi tape samples. I don't have much free time nowadays and got back to work at my retail job for memorial day weekend. My dad has been watching old recording of tennis matches and I like to watch along as I eat. Yeah, I probably wouldn't have joined this site either if it wasn't the pandemic. I'm glad I found out about it. Take care!
Response: I'm glad you liked it and that you have been able to get back to work. Take care!!
Comment: I got your letter today and I was so nice...especially the unicorn yoga stickers! I laughed out loud and showed my husband. I haven't gotten your first one yet...I don't know if it's lost but I'll get it a few more days. The mail is insane right now, I think. :)
Response: I'm glad you liked them!! I am starting to get worried about that letter. I have a couple of letters that seem to be MIA. I'll give it maybe another week and then resend.
Comment: You are amazing! So creative and love the envelopes, the washi (hungry for donuts) and the lovely note about your Sundays. I haven't done cryptograms in years and I am already addicted again (lol, says the nerd in me)... THANK YOU and blessings!
Response: I'm so glad you liked the cryptograms!! I was worried that you might not!! You're welcome and I'm thrilled you liked the mail!! :-D
Comment: Thank you for the encouraging letter. It was like a glass of cold water on a hot day! Thanks also for the butterfly washi tape and coloring postcard. Hawaii is a beautiful place to live. It’s nice taking walks and seeing the beautiful tropical flowers and scenery.
Response: You are so welcome!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm also glad you get to experience that beauty every day. It's such a blessing!!
Comment: Hi Kaleena! Your swap came in a postal "body bag" but I don't think anything was lost. Thank you for the goodies you included and I appreciate the crafty time spent in putting this together. :)
Response: I'm sorry!!! I think my homemade envelopes are not very sturdy at the edges. I'll have to reenforce them better. I'm glad it made it though!!!
Comment: The sheep postcard is very cute. My mom is a knitter so I can’t wait to show it to her. I listened to the owl. What a pleasure it is to experience nature in your backyard. Since I’ve been working from home, I have been able to get acquainted with the birds in my neighborhood.
Response: I'm glad you liked it!! This time at home does bring new experiences. A blessing in disguise!!
