Comment: LOve, luv, the moon, the texture and the quote! Thank you!!!! I shoulda guessed the moon was glow in the dark but it didnt even dawn on me. Its hanging at the foot of my bed where I'll see it! :)
Response: So glad you like it! I don’t know if you realized, but the moon is glow in the dark, so check it out with the lights off!
Comment: I was puzzled as to why on earth I was recieving mail from the US. I was certain I hadn't joined any swaps lately. Imagine my surprise when this tiny envie was holding an art journal! lol! Polyk really took the MINI part literally! A very cute journal. :)
Thank you for sending!
Response: That one took a while to make it to you! Enjoying this swap.
Comment: Love your card that you made for me I love that you also made a back to the card great idea! Sorry it took so long for the moment but I've been fighting a life threatening illness. Thank you for your patience 💖
Response: I’m glad you enjoy the card. I had fun with this swap& am happy to see it continue. Thanks for hosting.
Comment: Thank You! I have sometimes wanted to colour my hair bright purple or blue ... but my experience with "wine" itself was bad. Black hair has to be bleached to colour. Then the colour does not really look like how it looks on the models ... & finally, the colour goes, & the bleach remains :P
Response: That took a long time to get to you! I have dark brown hair. We bleached stripes & then dyed the with color. It was not very vibrant & it faded quickly. A lot of work for not a lot of pop!
Response: I’m so glad it made it to you. The page I decorated is actually the center of the book. I didn’t decorate the cover. I figured I can do that last. I guess it can work either way right? Lol!
Comment: Thank you for these wonderful ornaments! Wow!! Tell your son that I'm going to really enjoy having these on my tree this year - and for many years to come.
They are especially perfect because I have a four month old puppy and I'm not putting any breakables on the tree!!
Response: I'm so glad that you like them! Have a good Christmas!
Comment: I love it! So many interesting techniques and fun stuff to look at. I am working on the one for my partner now and you have given me some great ideas to incorporate into mine-such as the packing foam like as a page-super! Really like how you painted on some of the pages to give it the "grunge" look. Thanks ever so much for creating this for me!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I had fun making this one. Thanks for participating.
Comment: I received this journal today. I absolutely love it. It's awesome. I need to learn how to sew on the paper too. Awesome ideas. I don't want to write in it. I like it just as it is. Thank you so much 💜
Response: I'm so glad you like it. I was nervous with it being my first. The sewing was the same as in fabric, I just went slower to make sure nothin got jammed. I just picked a setting & gave it a shot. Enjoy your journal!
Comment: Hi Marisa! Thanks so much for this "B is for Baseball!" postcard. I used to play softball, so I will forever hold a place in my heart for baseball. :-) And it's funny that you mention rewatching Disney movies thanks to your kids. I've never had any children in my day-to-day life and yet I enjoy watching Disney movies over-and-over! :-) Thank you for sharing!
Response: So glad you enjoyed the card. My husband & I have been reminiscing about which movies we used to watch. I used to watch jungle book, Aladdin, & robin hood. He never really saw jungle book. Now I'm on a mission to get it for us. Take care.
Comment: Marisa, what a wonderful assortment of postcards. I must say I love the Beatles postcard more than the Maine lighthouse one. Great way to wrap them. I used to love going to the book fairs with my children. Thank you, Shirley
Response: So glad you liked it! Have fun with them.
Comment: Hello LadyRisa (Marisa from United States). I got you envelope today! Thank you so much for the two tea bags. I would like to travel more too, but my parcels travel for me too :D Have a great mail life, maria das trouxas
Comment: A very pretty peacock, thank you very much! And I am impressed by your patience. I can't do oil paints because of how long it takes to dry... I can barely do watercolors, haha.
Response: i painted that picture without oil painting experience. after letting it sit out overnight, i decided to google oil paint to see if i did something wrong because it hadn't dried. i was surprised of the drying time. lol!
Comment: Thanks for the tower records pc. I wasn't aware that it no longer exists. I loved reading about your adventures to the post office with your daughter after work--great adventures await you both.
Response: well, i know tower records in dallas no longer exists. they may be somewhere.....kinda like blockbuster. take care!
Comment: I love the card, and the nice note, and even the quote on the back of the card! We lived in Houston for a while back in the '70's, but we never got down to where these little guys live. Thanks for sharing, and happy swapping!
Comment: I love listia! I've been on there forever, mainly I get rid of old stamps to get jewelry. I did score a HUGE bag of rosaries. I just won't pay shipping for anything... But I have also started using it for beading supplies.
The postcard was the best!
Response: I'm the same way. I don't pay for Shipping either-I've gotten lots of cool stuff.Glad you like the card
Comment: Yay for Halloween!! Haha, I actually knew most of the words on the card, but I haven't practiced Russian in YEARS so I had to translate a few words! This was fun & I love the actual postcard as well! Thank you so much!
Response: Oh! I'm so glad. As you can see, I had to print it because I couldn't even begin to try & write it out.
Comment: I want you to know I love the skyy spiced tiger postcard! I was not the only one either! I would have rated you sooner but I was searching everywhere for your postcard! I could not find it! Then I remembered how my 4 year old with a speech delay was in love with it because of the tiger! So I asked him if he had seen the postcard with "the tiger" he just kept smiling a big huge smile...while picking up his toys I spotted it in his toy box! Thank you for sharing about your son, that's great he's going to school! It will help him so much! Best wishes to you and your son. And thanks again for such a great postcardâ¤ï¸
Response: Well, I'm glad you &your 4yr old enjoy it. My little one likes cards in general &will carry my postcards around the house. He *usually* is gentle.
Comment: Thank you very much for the postcard and your kind message which reminded me of old times, when the whole family was sitting together watching the Addams Family. It was a great pleasure to hear from you.
Comment: Oh yes, I LOVE this Eiffel Tower PC! Looking at your profile reminds me of the nights I would go to the Rocky Horror Picture Show (early 1990's) - it was so much fun and we would always dress up! :) I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks again!
Response: Glad you like it! That's one I've had for years. Yes, I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There is a great group in the Dallas area that does a great shadowcast. Too much fun!
Comment: Oh my ever-lovin-lord! Where on earth did you get that postcard? It's AMAZING!!! You do not even know... if I could give you 10 hearts I would in a heart beat. The postcard was facedown in the pile and I picked it up and flipped it over and the other people in the room were so impressed right away because it was perfect for me. Seriously, you have no idea... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Response: I had just come across it at a bookstore just a few days before the swap. The fates were in your favor.
