Comment: Thanks for the green sea turtle postcard! I love seeing the wildlife of other countries. I have not been to the Philippines, but I recently went to a program that talked about and had photos of birds of the Philippines. It made me want to visit.
Comment: Thanks for the unique buwaya card! (In Indonesian they are called buaya too!) and the lines from George R.R. Martin's book. I don't follow GoT and stuff, but I might want to read the book some other time.
Comment: Thank you SO much Elena for this great fruit postcard! This is one my favorite among all of those I received!! I did tried all the popular fruits of the Philippines, and was even drinking Guyabano drinks everyday for a while :) PS: I also love the stamps that you included! Really, what a fantastic swap :D
Comment: Thanks!!! I used to penpal a lot when I was younger and sometimes, I think about getting back into it but I don't know if I have the time to keep up like I did when I was a teenager :( I have never been to the Philippines but someday, hopefully I will make it there :)
Comment: Oh, Elena, what beautiful postcards and in support of such a good cause! Thank you very much for sharing these lovely images in your sunny yellow envie with all the great stamps. Here's to biodiversity - to nature- to life!
Comment: I got your Nephenthes barcelonae postcard. An intriguing nature card. Pitcher plants are strange and beautiful plants.
Thanks for joining this private swap. I hope you got my Montreal Botanical Garden card. It's interesting that we should both send something botanical. :)
Comment: .Sorry for the delay in rating but my Mom was just given mail from the PO going back to April and your swap was in there.
Thanks for the postcard
It's interesting to hear that it was so warm in February there where you could be on the beach there. It's already almost June here and this was the first time for the year that I went out without some type of jacket on
Comment: Love the bright and cheerful yellow/orange envie with all the fun stamps. PC are a treat -- very different from the normal touristy PC. (fyi: this swap was for NON-touristy PCs, but all of these are Philippines tourist cards -- not a problem for me b/c they are such unusual cards! LOL Please do NOT resend!) Thanks so much!
Comment: Yay, thank you so much. Also, you are the first mail I've received from the Philipines! So I was extra excited about that. I've always wanted to read the Prince but never got around to it. How have you liked it?
Comment: Can I just say your handwriting is utterly gorgeous! I am in awe of it! Also thank you so much for a beautiful postcard and the lovely stamps! I loved reading about the person you chose, she sounds incredible! Have a gorgeous day ^_^
Comment: Yikes!!! I don't think I would have the courage or energy to climb it either - just call me 'chicken' ha, ha, ha. Although the landscape around the mountain looks interesting. Thanks for sharing with me.
Comment: I love your letter and envelope! I love that the envelope is two pieces of paper. And your letter is so informative about you and where you live that I can just imagine it all in my mind. I need to see the Asik Asik water fall for real. I hope your travelling goes well and you're able to overcome your introversion!
Comment: Thank you for your reflections. Yes i went to church too and I agree Christmas is also a good time for me time especially after a long year. Have given you a heart because you put my name on the email, made it personal thank you.
