Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card. I've had several of the Currier & Ives cards myself. My granddaughter wants me to ask if you have a panda and a kitty since that is your nickname on here (I didn't want to tell her I asked and not ask)
Response: My favorite animal Is a panda. My nickname is Kitty. Tell her thanks for asking.
Comment: Thanks for the cute postcard and our weather here is cold and rainy one day, warm the next day, it just stays on repeat I think Mother Nature forgot we're in May :-( I want warm weather not half winter time weather I think somebody needs to give Mother Nature a swift kick in the butt!!
Comment: I forgot to rate this wonderful swapper, I am so ashamed, I was going throught car problems during terrible weather and just missed rating her. she deserves all the credit available.to her. She deserves the biggest heart for being patient with me. Thank you again. Pandakitty.
Comment: Thanks for your awesome old-school, biblical Christmas card P/C. I wondered who had sent me such a cool mid-century modern painting in purples, blues and browns - who knew I would love that style? - but then I realised that was just a randomness more to do with the traditional Xmas card than the style of art itself. Well, what a lucky thing, if that's the case, and thank you so much!
Comment: This PC was SUPER adorable!!! Even my daughter loved it. Thank you so much for a cute card. I agree we are going to get snow, they are calling for a bad winter for us, but hopefully it will be a while before we see any.
Comment: Thank you. We had a little light rain & cooler weather over the weekend -- that may have been from the storm. We are pretty far inland to really feel much. Hope your week of rain doesn't cause any damage
Comment: Hi Kathryn - Love this postcard, the image in so cute. I thought the fish were real when I first glanced at them and wondered where they were from. All the best and happy swapping Jane x jep1068
Thank you for the cute handmade card:) I am so very thankful for the same things you!! I appreciate you communicating with me that you would be sending late. Have a wonderful holiday season...Charlene

Happy Fall Mailings, ellie
p.s. thank you too for hosting this swap:-)
Comment: Ok I have to say that I giggled when I saw the Simpsons ATC. I remember when that cartoon first aired. I thought that Bart was just a bad boy! I don't watch it any more, my boys have left home and watching cartoons is not up there on my list. Swapbot is:-) Grateful for the ATCs. Have a wonderful weekend. ellie
Comment: Thank you for the pretty flip flop ATC & all the tuck-ins too. You were very thoughtful and generous. I even liked the card that you send with the swap. flip flops every where. blessings, ellie
Comment: I do like baseball but would like it so much better if my son got a coaching job that worked for his family.I have been at many ball games when it was way too cold or rainy to watch. Thanks for the card.
Comment: Loved the ATCs you made, thank you :)
Just noticed as I was taking it out of the plastic sleeve that the charm broke off on the top. Maybe put some bubble wrap when sending metal? But it will be ok once I put it in my book, thanks!
Response: Sorry about that. I will take your advice. Thanks
Comment: Thank you for a great card!
Way back, when I was learning english in West Virginia, I spent a week in Washington for Xmas, I loved visiting the museums and memorials, I did not see the cherry blossoms ´cause it was winter but I have never forgotten that experience!
Thanx for that blast from the past you sent me!
Response: I have been to Washington many times, but I have never seen the cherry blossoms. Maybe one day
Comment: Thank you so much for the granny squares. They are beautifully done and I really like your color combinations. I look forward to everything I receive from you, I know it's going to be impeccable. Thank you.
Response: What can I say. Thanks for the wonderful comment
Comment: Thank-you for your wonderful postcard that you made with my name on it and the teddies. I do not find my name on many things so it was so wonderful to receive. I love your 'snowflakes falling slowly'. Marion
Comment: I love the card! Thanks for personalizing. Also it's kinda funny that you so in depth and yet lucked out. I'm actually terrified of birds, but luckily for you ducks are the one bird I actually like. haha so you lucked out!
Comment: All I can say about your ATC is "WOW!" It really is one of the best I have ever received. Also, I read your profile, and my heart goes out to you. My mother died in 1999 of complications from Alzheimer's, and the years prior to her death were beyond stressful. My dad died in 1995, and I have always been sure that he died of a broken heart. Their 55th anniversary was just a month before his passing. A friend recently told me that she had read this saying: When God pushes you over the edge, he will either catch you or give you wings! I will keep you in my prayers. Happy swapping!
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for your Angel ATC that you created for me for this swap. It is beautiful. It will be a great start to this A-Z alphabet ATC Series. I like the combination of materials you used.
Comment: Your beautiful ATC arrived today, and it was worth waiting for -- you even chose one of my favorite verses! Thanks also for the stickers. I hope your daughter is better, and I wish you a wonderful Christmas, and Happy Swapping in 2013!
Comment: YES! this is EXACTLY the kind of card i was looking for, thank you so much! I already have a couple of avant card art cards from Australia, i just love the kind of illustration/adverts these guys have! Thankyou for the great swap.
Comment: Thankyou for the lovely handmade card. I'm amazed at how bumpy/textured mail gets through the postal system!
P.s. Please double check the swap name next time, it was hard to find you among my sent swaps!
Comment: Love the polar bear ATC! I really like what you did with the woven background. This card is totally worth the stupid two dimes my PO made me turn over for it. Thanks! :)
Also, I took a glance at your profile and while I can't really judge 'cause I didn't see the cards in question, I do live in desperate fear of being paired up with a joyless, 3 slinging swapper. Eep!
Response: I don't understand about the two dimes to the PO
Comment: Thanks for the great pc of our capital building. A picture I saw on facebook the other day was of a port-a-potty on the scaffolding around the dome. They are supposed to be done with the restoration later this year. I hope the dome looks better than it does now. It had character before. All blue except for the spot that got hit in the '66 tornado.
Comment: Love the photo of the old house covered in vines!! It looks so sad and abandoned - I bet the squirrels live very happily in there! ;) Yep, we do have a lot of great old houses in NC! You didn't move too far away though! Thanks for a great PC!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely handmade card! I've yet to try my hand at something so creative, but I admire people who do. Love the weaving effect--that must have taken a long time to achieve? Have a great day, too! :)
Comment: Sorry but the last message was for another partner. But I do love your pc of Gettysburg. I was there when I was 3 and 8. When I was there at age 8 I was introduced to history fell in love and have never quit. I love Ken Burns Civil War series. Thanks Vicky
Comment: got my square today :D loved the softness of the 'mixed' coloured yarn, very awesome :D
a hint if you want to save on postage and participate in more of the granny square swaps, i send mine in a regular brown envelope with a regular stamp :D i cover the edges of the envie with packing tape but it will save you alot (hope the tip helps in the future)
Comment: Thanks very much for the sweet little teddy and the pretty flower and butterfly atcs. You did such a quality job! What kind of glue do you use, like what you adhered that floral stem with? I might have asked you this before, is it Beacon 3 in 1? What ever it is, I wish more would use it because I am getting aggravated with having to repair things I get that have fallen apart in the mail........
Response: I used glue dotes to fut on the flowers.
Comment: Hee hee - what a wonderful profile-related card. I actually said "wow" when I first saw it and then realised you had also added those words in 3-D! So cool.
What a great one for the collection xx
Comment: fantastic, now i know how to seal my button for my button postcard swap
the dove is lovely and you really must check out the weaveing pc swap
so much much care and work went into this
thank you so much for all the effort on the great pc up on my wall it goes
Comment: Thank you for the snow couple! Our Christmas was wonderful and I'm glad yours was also. What did you use to protect your card? I've received several "taped" like that and would love to know how it's done... very clever!
Comment: Thanks for the cute apple PC. I don't have any apple trees, or any fruit trees for that matter, but we grow asparagus, green beans, beets, squash, lots of flowers, and more! I spend a lot of time outside in the warmer months - it's so relaxing! Best in 2012! :)
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for the awesome illustration of the bells you did for me. I love the striped bells and the interesting decorated leaves. Your loteria card will be a very positive addition to my already growing collection of loteria cards. Thank you for sharing your drawing talents with me. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a blessed 2012.
Comment: I love the handmade card, although I'm curious if you specifically chose to send me one of Challenger because of where I'm from or was it just a coincidence? The Challenger just holds such an important part of history in my city, I'd just love to know if you knew about it prior to sending me the card.
Response: It was my Guardian angel that picked it. I was not know about the connection. I am so glad that you enjoyed it.
Comment: The munchkin loved your amigurumi so much that she confiscated it on the spot! Thank you so much, not just for the cute cat (my daughter insists it's a cat) but most of all, for making my little girl so happy!!!
Response: I am glad she likes it. Yes, it is a cat in pjs.
Comment: Had to give you a heart, you did do my initials after all :-) Love the ATC, especially the star (that's my wife and I's symbol).
I like the stationery you used too, very cool, artsy jelly fish.
If I could give you a high five I totally would...
Comment: oh wow you know i love horses and i take it this is a wild mustang, its got ta be and it sure does look like he's on top of the whole...perfect because in my book, the wild horse is on top in my world..i own 3 :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely grannies square. You definitely deserve a heart for doing them over for me. Don't know where the others are. Is there a letter eater monster in the post office somewhere? Thank you again, Shirley
Comment: So. What is better than Tink on a card? Well, lady bugs, dragonflies, and My Little Pony. Thank you! The background paper was gorgeous! Even though it isn't in my profile, that is the flowery/floral motif/style/print that I like. woohoo
Comment: Those two little shepherds do look as though they are really experiencing the joy of that night so long ago! Thank you for the card and your caring words. Merry Christmas and Peace to you as well.
Comment: Wow, you really made this card special for me!! I love the beach chairs, the view of the sunset and all the seashells! Thank you so much for putting so much into my card...I have it on display! Tami
Comment: I love your card! It was so nice to receive a handmade card that was put together so nicely. The handmade envelope was great too. I'm glad to see a handmade envelope make it through the post safely. Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Cute card! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! Also hope your mother continues to improve. I had a little trouble matching your card with you though, It didn't have the swap or your name on it. Thanks for the card! Happy swapping!
Response: I am sorry abou that. Are you sure it is not on the back of the card?
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for the ATC you created for the 10th day of Chirstmas. The glitter adds sparkle to the ATC and the meticulous cutting of the 10 Lords adds great detail. This ATC will be a fine addition to my 12 Days of Christmas seires. Look forward to future swaps together.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely dishcloth and the special treat. I'm going through much the same things with my mom, too, so really empathize and hope yours is doing well now. Mine once went home with strangers when a flight was delayed in a layover city and she got confused (before we realized how difficult things were becoming for her) and we literally did not know where she was for about 15 hours. She had her cell phone with but didn't call anyone (said she knew she was fine!) Thankfully they were kindly and gave her a bed for the night and returned her to the airport next morning to continue her journey. So--my heart goes out to you. Every good wish and thank you again, Cheryl
Comment: Thank you for the neat little fairy card!
ps. It was way too hot summer here in Finland if you ask me. I appreciate the cool autumn weather much more ... We had *lots* of snow last winter, let's see what happens this time.
Comment: Hello Kathyrn,
I just sent a swap off to you today and I received a swap from you today, WOW! Thank you for your ATC of the story of Samson and Delilah from the Book of Judges in the Bible. It is the same story I did for my ATC, but when I read the story it was a pretty amazing story. I did not remember that cutting his hair would take his tremendous strength away. I will proudly add your ATC to my Books of the Bible series. I think this is a great series as it is getting me to read the Books of the Bible again. I look forward to the rest of the series and to swapping with you more during this series and/or other swaps. Until we meet again, Happy Swapping!!!
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
I received your ATC of Eight Maids a Milking on Sept.10th. I looked at it and just loved it right away. Then I read your note and learned of all your troubles. I just want you to know it came out wonderfully and that it will be a great addition to my 12 Days of Christmas ATC series. I will be excited to add it to my series. I know we have swapped in the past and I hope we continue to meet up in the future for more swaps. Until we meet again, Happy Swapping!!!1
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for redoing your Decorated Scripture cards. I received them on August 18th. I love both of the Bible entries you sent, ones I did not find myself and ones that will be a great addition to my Decorated Scripture Book I have put together. I especially love the card with butterflies and flowers. Thank you again for redoing the cards. Hope we continue to meet up on swaps in the future.
Comment: I love the lil bug additions! My cat is afraid of bugs/ birds. He caught a bird once, and it flapped him in the face as he was carrying it! That freaked him out, he let the bird go and ran into the house! Sissy! Thanks for the card!
Comment: Hello Kathryn,
I received your "Books of the Bible-Numbers" ATC August 13th. You did a great job of featuriing a character from the Book of Numbers. I like as well how you added glitter to his clothing to add a little more sparkle. I look forward to adding your ATC to my "Books of the Bible" series. I am really enjoying this series. Hope we meet up again on further swaps.
Comment: Kathryn, THANK YOU for the extra special package. I can tell you put a great deal of care into it and I love everything you sent. I hope you are getting a break from your responsibilities every now and then. Blessings and peace to you!
Comment: Got my sweet little enclosure cards today! They are just lovely. Your inspiration must have returned to you. I really liked how you made the cards different than the envies. Thank you so much!
Comment: Sorry for the late rating - I swept up all my swap items cleaning for Easter. The wine glass is now a great candle, and everyone liked the Peanuts salt & pepper - it's happily on our kitchen table. Thanks!
Comment: Thankyou for such a nice assortment of items, I love everything you sent! I really look forward to planting the flower seed, it is time to do that now. what a nice bag you sent, I will be using it constantly. Thankyou!
Comment: Thank you, this is a great verse to share and I love the panda stickers and your name pandakitty too. Pandas are one of my most favorite animals, I was sad that they sent Tai Shan (is that how they spell it?) back home to China. I used to watch the panda cam all the time and see what he was doing.
Comment: Haha, yes I am very tired of seeing snow! And a lack of parking spaces as a result! :( Thanks for your autumn card. I think you forgot to write the word "smile" at the end of the message cause it just says "Hope I made you" lol. I love that you added letters to the card though. Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for the NEAT picture and write-up about Chandi....what a darling kitty she is! AND it sounds like she runs a tight ship at your house! Your write-up was so nice--she is a "true" cat--in charge and proud of it! I loved this swap. Thanks again.
