Comment: Thanks for the great B&W collage card, Susan., even if some navy did sneak its way in there! I wear a lot of black clothes and more than once I've bought something I thought was black only to discover when I got home where the light was better that it was actually navy blue. I like your composition & variety on the card.
Comment: Clever combination of collage items-I know what you mean by not even making dent in scraps. I like the quote you put on it too! Thanks for sharing-I'm doing ok-I'm retired but miss by excurtions to the crafts stores and the thrift stores along with my monthly craft retreats and weekly card classes. Take care.
Comment: Love the card you created & I can relate to the text about an uncooperative mouth!. Thanks for brightening my mailbox & for hosting this swap.Spring here in south Florida means summer weather has begun -- not something I enjoy in these days of global warming
Comment: LOVED the mini magpie journal you made. I enjoy seeing others ideas for pages. I especially loved the ‘trying to think up ideas for last 2 pages’ - the faces were awesome! ( and it’s so me!! Ha ha)
Also loved the tickets - such a neat idea.
Comment: I loved finding all the different items on your mail art! This was so much fun; was the face on the back one of those done without lifting your pen from the page? I tried to follow the line and that's what it seemed to be. Fascinating! Thanks so much for hosting this swap and for theb foreign language pages; I love using those for projects. Great swap!!!
Response: It's a stamp by Elizabeth St. Hillaire/Rubbermoon stamps, It think. I am practicing making faces this way - it's a challenge!
Comment: Thank you for a fun sticker slapped pc! There is something really satisfying about peeling them all and just randomly (or semi randomly) placing them on the paper:) Maybe three years olds are on to something, lol! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thanks for the amazing envelope! So much color, paint, and washi, not to mention the neat collage figures! You were very generous with all the extras and I look forward to craft time in the busy season ahead. Thanks again for such a great swap.
Comment: OMG...so much muchness here! I'm the happy recipient of this BIG envelope full of gloriousness, so thank you dear Susan...i have things sorted into stacks and will be using them for weeks to come.
Comment: Goodness! You really spoiled me. Love Love the stuff you sent! Braille paper! and the Collage sheets of vintage book covers! It's all so wonderful-thank you for creating and hosting this swap and for sharing with me!
Comment: HI Susan, Thank you so very much. Loved receiving this swap! :) It made me do a happy dance. LOL thanks for the book pages Thanks for the great cards to work on and pass along!! I have already worked on 2 of them yesterday. I think they are going to turn out great.
Comment: Great assortment of papers,i struggle to tear books apart but when i get pages in swaps i love to play on them, so thank you. Thank you so much for the stencils as well, i feel spoilt. Always love your swaps.
Comment: Thank you for the generous supplies. I will definitely use them all and have already played with the tags. I especially liked the tickets with words and cut outs, but their is so much and I love it all.
Comment: This got here super fast! Was here Monday night but didn't see it until yesterday. Love it! So bright. I have a problem with trying to add more and more layers until everything looks muddy. Thanks for all the extras!
Comment: I'm just right back from vacation and ready to rate! :) Thanks for your colourful envie, it arrived save and sound. Your sewing machine can make some neat stitches (like on the back of the envie) I only can dream of when it comes to my machine. :)
Comment: Susan, I loved receiving your package in my mailbox! What a wonderful assortment of napkins you sent; I can't wait to use them in some projects, especially the bird and the butterfly! And all the extras you sent were so fantastic! I never see tissue papers like that in our area, so those are super great! And I'm just getting into tags, and will have a great time with the tags you sent! Even your packaging was creative! I love what you did with it!!! Was it spray paint and stencil? Whatever it was, I love it!! Thanks so much for a wonderful swap!!!
Response: I think it was gel printed. Have fun and thanks for the rating.
Comment: Holy crap, that's a lotta stickers and I LOVE THEM ALL!!!! The Paddington one, especially!! THANK YOUUUUUU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! I actually didn't realize this was a swap when I opened it! I thought it was a pack of postcards I've been waiting on! 😂 It was an awesome surprise when I opened it.
Comment: Wow Susan, I loved the mixed media index card you designed, very nice and very artistic for sure. But a HUGE thanks for tho book pages in russian, french & spanish (I think anyway) If you have anymore of those I would love to set up a swap for them. Thanks so so much for the great swap
Comment: Thank you for the stamped images! You have a great collection of stamps - I appreciate so many with text and quotes bc none of mine have text. And the book pages will be used for sure too. (PS thanks for hosting)
Comment: Susan, what a beautiful beach envelope you sent to me!!! I was so happy to see it in my mailbox - the colors are so tropical and l love the paper you used for the sand, very nice touch! The seagull was perfect and the crabs and starfish really added a lot to it. And the seashell stamps were such a nice match to the ocean colors you used! This one is definitely a keeper. I can see this hanging in my beach room as a wall decoration! Thanks so much for a great swap!!! Thanks also for the extra goodies you included!
Response: Thank you for your kind words. It was fun to make. Take care!
Comment: Ooooooooh, how gorgeous it is, this mail. Just by seeing the envelope I felt like in heaven ;-) It is absolute my kind of style!!! And the coins are wonderfull. I really LOVE this swap and you've made for me. Thank you SO MUCH!!! 100's of hearts for you! <3 - Ellen
Comment: I love the mix of animals you sent me - thanks so much! Even the envelope is great. Gotta admit, I patiently peeled off as many of the postal stickers as I could in hopes of reusing parts of it...
Response: Yes, that envelope started out as one thing and turned into another. It was hard to part with! Enjoy
Comment: Thanks, I am so glad you added the swap note. There were so many extra goodies inside, I might have mistaken it for another swap. You are awesome, and I loved your painted envelope. Thanks for making the swap extra special.
Comment: Wowzier! I just received my 2 - 2 Sided Inspiration ATC's and LOVE them. I love the colors, the patterns, the use of embellishments and the overall sweet words of inspiration. Thank you so much as it made my day!
Comment: I didn't have to read anything to recognize which swap this was. Thank you for the fishy envelope and the fish prints. Have you ever printed a real fish? I wouldn't have known these were rubber if you hadn't said.
Response: Yes, I have used real fish with preschoolers but rubber is so much easier and no smell!
Comment: Oh Susan, this brush is absolutely gorgeous! This was my first ATB swap, so I didn't really know what to expect beyond that one video I watched. This is SO stunning!! The bright colours, the texture, the layers! Thank you SO much! <3
Comment: ♥ I have been one of your followers for some time now but it is always nice to get an update to pull me back into looking. You have some fabulous mail art on your board. Thanks for the reminder.
Comment: ♥ Thank you for all and I do mean __ALL__ the embellishments you sent. (I have given up trying to use swap bot as a means of downsizing.) You have some fantastic embellishment ideas. Now to get to work and use them. Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you so much for the very cool ATC! I love it. I love the card too. It reminds me of a Paul Klee painting and I hadn't seen this Kandinsky. I'm going to have to read and see if they were inspired by each other ... Klee's is called Senecio.
Comment: What a fantastic book. I love the file folder book thing as well. Thank you so much for sending me new to me ideas that I didn't know I needed o know, and thanks for hosting such a cool swap! :)
Comment: Love my "dotty" ATC. Thanks so much - about the fabric - whatever you want to send, cotton/minky/flannel all great for these weighted blankets. Our ministry ends up using everything....small cuts or large. Much thanks for taking the time to do this. Will be happy to reimburse your shipping costs.
Comment: OMG! I absolutely love the paint brush, oh it's so pretty and I love the quote! Very well done, thank you. But I'm freaking out about that little scrap monster you sent to me!!!! LOVE, love, love it!!! That's the best thing ever!!!!Both items are currently hanging on my art room wall of inspiration. Thank you so much for such a great swap!! I would join another one in a flash! 🌟âï¸ðŸ’—💖💌ðŸ˜ðŸŒ»ðŸ¸
Response: Look for scrap monsters on YouTube - lots of ways to do it. You're welcome - enjoy!
Comment: I'm from a family of educators. Everyone has been appalled. I recently sent my aunt a postcard of a bear and told her I was glad she had retired so she didn't need to buy a gun to fight back all those bears. If I don't laugh about some of it, I'll definitely cry about it. I hope this disaster wakes up the under-engaged and we can start toward some real progress. To see the US slipping in areas of education and human rights... it's just completely unacceptable. Great card by the way. I wanted to get some of the ones from the website, but I didn't get around to it.
Response: Yay! Teachers make the best family members - my mom was and my two sisters are also. I just celebrated my 22nd year at the preschool and even my father taught a class here and there. I also can't believe the news each day - but his presidency has certainly sparked my activism.
Take care and thanks.
Comment: I love your work! Thank you There was a strong odor I don't know if it was smoke or maybe the ink? I had one swapper add about an 1/8th of a dryer sheet to her envelope and I didn't even know what it was, but she said the reason she put it was neutralize the smoke smell. It worked really well! I thought it was some specialty paper I wasn't familiar with! lol
Response: Sorry about the smell - I received the inks second hand and I find them smelly, too. I thought the smell would dissipate when dry.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely zines! I really like the different kinds of "macarons." Did you make them with the die cut machine? All the die cuts are very nice! One of the feathers has a green quill and pink top, and it is my favorite :) The mason jars are very pleasing to look at. The two backgrounds are very interesting! I think they would make very nice zines...
Comment: I LOVE this art journal page!
The colors are so vibrant and fun and the message is wonderful. Certainly words that I needed to hear. <3
I love how you've combined so many mixed media elements and I feel super special I got a splash of glitter!
Oh! And thank you so much for the extra book pages! I'll be sure to put them to good use!
I really appreciate you doing this swap with me and giving me my very first art journal page to cherish! <3 <3 <3
Comment: Thank you for the swap goodies.
updated 09/21/18 Almost 2 years later, the color pencils...I get it! They have claimed a home in my travel work zip because they allow me to find my happy space in any part of the world I happen to be in. Thank you again.
Comment: Thanks for this beautiful Envie with a nice note and for the extra stamped images too. The envie is bright and beautiful. It was a welcome sight in my mail box! I hope everyone has recovered from the flu! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Unbelievable. I'm totally speechless! It's hard for me to believe you really spent 22.50 usd for this swap. AMAZING!!! I love it all: the bookpages in different languages, the note block pages, chinese ads, a background made by you, the today to do lists, the paper doll templates, the map of California, AND an awesome bag of googies of all kind. You went above and beyond with this swap. Really amazing. Many thanks for your generosity!!!
Response: I hope some of the stuff is useful - I can't seem to mail a small envelope. Enjoy and thank you for the nice comments.
Comment: Hi Susan! It's a late rate and I am sorry lol I just got side tracked in making Washi Wheels :) You can see a pic on my page :) But thank you so much for 3 more amazing 5x5 art Journal pages :)
Comment: Oh WOW, Susan! Just opened your package and I was blown away by your generosity and thoughtfulness with this swap! Thank you so much! I love everything ... especially the birds! Response: Happy it finally arrived. And thanks for your kind comments.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful assortment of napkins! By far the peacock is my favorite. I have not decided if I will make another napkin journal or use them in my art journals but they will be put to creative use.
Comment: Love the card--so cute. Pretty good job getting coffee sleeves I don't have or shops I haven't been too considering we're both from San Francisco! Would love to hear what crafts you do & perhaps someday even getting to see each others craft space!
Response: I don't drink coffee so I ask friends and coworkers for their sleeves. I make mini books from the sleeves - I leave them out for people to find so keep your eyes open!
Comment: Thanks so much, Susan! What a wonderful assortment! I had just learned about the Chinese New Year money envelopes and how they work so I was extra excited to see them in the packet :) Thanks tons!
Comment: Your swap arrived this morning - and I started to feel good as soon as I saw the colourful envelope. The words and phrases are just the spark I need to get going again on my journal. Thanks so much, Susan!

Comment: You Rock! I Wwas rather confused when I received this one as it was supposed to be postage of 49 to 71 cents. Much, much, much more than that! Thanks so very much. there is so much I can use:)
Response: I know it was more - I have a hard time editing...hope you can use it.

Comment: Hi Susan, Thanks for all the extras in with the pocket size journal, which arrived in my home today 18th March 2015. I love the San Francisco map you included, San Francisco is one of my favourite places! I first visited in 1977, when I fell in love with your hometown city and then in 1985 and then again in 1999. In 1977, on our family travels, we met a family who lived in San Fran and in 1985 and 1999 we stayed with them, they lived in Seacliff, San Francisco but unfortunately they have are not there now. All the best, Marion
Response: You're welcome - I figure I may as well stuff the envelope so it's worthwhile. And I love living here in SF - 23 years this week!
Comment: Got my journal back - again! Thanks for the lovely Iceland and Jamaica pages! I had no idea there were so many ways to use plaintains! I've only had them as dried chips. I also love the extra journal you sent! I would love to have a couple more - just let me know if you'd like something for them or for the postage. Where did you get that many of them? Thanks so much!
Comment: I loved my envelope & the Janice Joplin stamp is awesome! The whole thing is so fun. The goodies inside were really nice too. Just wanted to let you know the whole thing was open on the side and bottom. I was glad your card was still in it and the goodies. If anything fell out I do not know. That is my biggest fear when I mail things out is that it will open up.
Response: So sorry - I always hesitate adding clear tape. I should have - apologies.
Comment: Hello, Susan! Thank you so much for the fun pink mixed media mailart envelope, I LOVE it! Thank you also for the extra goodies, I especially love the pattern washi papers and the stamped images of 'posted on the wings of creativity', this is an amazing stamp!

Comment: Susan! My mother was so kind to forward my mail to me. I've received the journal, thanks for your entry! It's so nice to see it again, I totally forgot I had this one in circulation. I love the quote you made, it's so applicable to my current situation :)
Comment: Love your beautiful envie and the contents :) I had to carefully cut the too as to not ruin it so I could put it in my smash book too. Oh and guess I should have checked the mail before messaging you haha! And thank you a million hearts more for a whole package of tins that I needed badly. You've made my weekend!

Comment: Thanks do much for the cards...I love the starts that you gave them. Unfortunately I cannot give you a heart because while the swap description asked for the swap to be sent in a decorated envie, this was not. Sorry about that :(. Best of luck finding my postcard...I believe in you :). EDITED 9/7: Thank you so much for the decorated envie and the wonderful stamped images...I LOVE them! I know that you weren't asking for a heart, but I just had to give you one :). I really appreciate you sending a make-up envelope!
Response: Thanks - I just wanted to right my wrong.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful cards! The Cali cards are great, thanks for the San Fran postcard as well. I want to see San Fran so badly, looks like an amazing city. I really enjoy this swap and wish you many beautiful cards as well.
Comment: Great pages! I know - we lived in Millbrae from 1968 to 1971, and my parents just can't believe that the house they sold for about $30,000 is now valued over a million dollars! Thanks for sharing - hope you get something you love someday!
Comment: Thanks so much for what you sent :D You were so creative with the stencil on the envelope and that sticker :D I loved every paper and they'll be so useful in my craft table :D :D :D Have a nice day!
Comment: Susan, your envelope was inspired. My hubby showed it to me via Skype while I was in San Fran and I immediately recognized Oscar Wilde. Once I saw he octopus I knew it was for "pick a letter" mail art. I really enjoyed all the "O's" and thanks much for the lovely papers!
Comment: Susan, your zentangle mail art is great--it reminded me of my high school days when everything was psychedelic! I'm crazy for the eye pattern and am going to incorporate It into my own zentangling. Thanks too for the goodies--I love the little tickets. Hope to swap again together soon!
Response: Thanks for your comments - I'm a newbie to zentangling so it reminded me of doodling on my high school notebooks.
Comment: Susan, I adore your little anthropomorphic birds--really very clever. I'm especially fond, too, of the background--is it blue paint through a stencil? Thanks for the neat enclosures--I can make good use of those for my ATC art.
Response: Yes, I think spray ink thru a Crafters Workshop stencil.
Comment: Thank you so much for the amazing link to your Flickr - I'm certainly inspired. Your paper dolls are to die for and I'm a sucker for purple. Extra heart for the Pinterest printables - such a treasure trove! Thanks again for your communication, too!
Comment: Great swap - thanks, I love the mason jar page. I'm going to incorporate that idea into a page somehow. And don't worry about "how" you did the swap - I think it was great, maybe even better than the original way I suggested. I just do the PDFs because they're easy for me. :)
Comment: I hit the jackpot!!! I love the "hooty" owl you made for me:) I really appreciate anything sewn with love, since my skills are non-existent...LOL! I rarely treat myself to magazines, so this was a real extravaganza to get so many!! I may not sew, but give me a glue stick and wonder-under and I can sure try some of the great ideas:) The extra paper doll is sure to find a special place in my craft area. Thank you for an amazing, thoughtful swap!!
Response: You're very welcome. Sorry you had to wait and I appreciate the rating.
Comment: Susan, your mail art made me hungry! I turned it around trying to guess what each dish was ;+) Your arrangement around the address was pleasing too. AND . . . . thank you for the postie and the Matryoshka templates--they will come in handy! Thanks for hosting and creating something neat for me!
Response: They were all images from an old Sunset magazine - some were ads and some were featured recipes. Glad you liked it!
Comment: What an interesting envie. I love the found text bits. I am so pleased with all of the GREAT images you sent, especially the small, postage stamp formatted ones. Thanks for a great package and for hosting this fun swap!
Comment: Hi Susan! Got your envelope today and I really like it! Lots of good ideas on that envie, and I will probably use some of the elements on future projects...you may see parts of it again reincarnated! And thanks for the extra goodies..a nice selection that will come in handy!
Comment: And thank you also for the black junk journal stuff. It was so exciting having all three of these swaps arrive in the same parcel. Just tipping it all out was a treat. Thank you so much for your generosity.
Comment: Thank you for the fantastic piece of mail art! I especially like how the Japanese looked wrapped around the envelope. I think it helped to have that particular piece wrapped around; if it hadn't been, the envelope would have completely split open. Which would have been unfortunate with all the great paper goodies you included! Thank you. :-)
Response: Whoops! I'll use better envies next time! Thanks.
Comment: Oh my goodness Susan I'm so sorry! Gezzzzzzzzz... I just found this unrated when the package came a long time ago. I know I rated it, but must have not hit the save button or there was a glitch that day! At any rate it is a perfect package for me, owls and papers and tags, post cards in themes that I can use and tons of this and that! Thank you so much!!! I've already used a lot of the stuff!
Comment: FANTASTIC! I LOVE MY STUFF! I had no idea we were practically neighbors! I adore SF! The envelope was so beautiful. Thank you soooooo much for everything! Is that a gelli print you made for me?! I love my extras! I would love to do a private swap with you. The crow/raven stamped image is fantastic!
Response: You're very welcome.
I'll send you a message...
Comment: I LOVE the envie!!! (I'm guessing Project Runway.?) Great quote! The goodies inside are so much fun too - especially the stenciled name tags. That is such a cool idea! Thank you very much for a wonderful swap!
Comment: YAY! My mailbox was full of fun stuff today...thanks to you. Love the little paper doll:) And HOW did you do or WHAT did you do to those National Geo pages...very cool. And are those wallpaper samples? great images and thanks for the paper hearts:) FUN!!!

Comment: Thank you for the map of Michigan in the cool frame! I'll have loads of fun playing with the birds and flowers and other punchiest you made out of the map paper too. Thanks for the great swap and sorry for the delayed rating :-)
Comment: Hi Susan!
What a fun envie! First of all, pink is my absolute favorite and, to me, seems very "Paris-y". Then that adorable retro girl on the front and the Paris washi were wonderful additions. AND you added French phrases--tres chic, indeed! Thank you so much and DOUBLE TRIPLE thanks for the truly amazing French-themed stickers you sent. I have never seen them before and they are simply brilliant.
Comment: You win the award for the most incredible package I have received on Swapbot! I am still going through everything, but I wanted to let you know that I have received it, and that I love, love, love all the things I am discovering....papers, postcards, envelopes, magazine pages, book pages...and who knows what else! You are an angel to share so generously. I wish I could give you many more hearts. Thank you so much for such a special swap!
Response: You're very welcome and kind. I hope the paper is useful to you.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful piece of mail art :)! I love everything on your envie; the colour, the Poe-image, the stamped images and the font of the text you´ve used! Really neat artwork! Thank you also for the lovely extras, love the bird-stickers! Hugs and best wishes!
Response: You're welcome - it was fun to make. I've been experimenting with image transfers using gel medium.
Comment: Wow, just Wow, you sent so much and enjoyed the package so very much....thank you and wish I could give you many more "hearts"...the book with the clip art among other items is just wonderful....love it all!!!!
Comment: Hi just sealed up the rolos to you and realize that I called what should have been paradise-serene instead. So I changed it on the envelope but not inside the rolo because I had sealed it so good and put the postage on so hope you can correct my mistake and change my serene to PARADISE! Yours were great by the way-you sent me this one serene and chaos! Happy swapping-thanks for hosting this swap!
Response: Sure - no problem. And you're welcome. More swaps to come.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful rolo and inspirational quote. Maya Angelou was such an amazing woman, I have read a lot of her quotes and this one is definitely a favorite :) You did a great job, I really appreciate it!
Comment: Thank you so much for taking the time to put together a resend after your first swap was completely torn up in the mail. I really loved the variety of items you sent, although my personal favorites by far ar the very awesome movable mermaids you sent - that's one of the coolest things I've gotten in a swap so far! Thank you for being a great swapper!!!
Comment: Susan, I had a horrible time getting the pictures to open, but I suspect that it's a problem with Hotmail, not your email. Your book looks great! I can't believe you did the cutting with just scissors!
Comment: Thank you for the great pages! The silhouette one was neat and I loved how you recorded all the swaps you did each month! That sounds like a good idea and I might have to try it sometime, if you don't mind me "borrowing" your idea, that is!
Comment: Thanks for the awesome swap. I love Blue Indigo, she will inspire me from her new home in my craft room. I especially love the way that you used the zipper as trim. Thanks for all the lovely x-tras, it was so nice of you to include the scrabble tiles that spelled my name. I can't wait to fill the little fat books with altered loveliness
.....now where to start?
Response: You're very welcome. I hope you make lots of good stuff!
Comment: What a wonderful swap partner you are! I received a big box of wonderfullness today and can't wait to get home to play with the goodies. Did you cut the clothespins down yourself? They are adorable! And the cans, paper book, paper doll, envies, and the magazines...oh my..I feel very spoiled. Thank you so very much!
Response: You're very welcome. The clothespins are from a Japanese $1 store - they come in many sizes. Have fun crafting!

Comment: I like the hand. Where did you get those stencils? And it's a small world, isn't it? When I was young we lived in Vacaville, and visited San Francisco all the time! I loved it there. Your pages are very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Comment: Thank you for the fun yellow art. I appreciate the time and talent you put into making this for me. It is interesting that so many of the yellow cards had butterflies on them... Mine included... So pretty.
Comment: WOW! That was one extra special package of ephemera. I loved it all. I used to spend my summers and vacations in San Francisco as a teenager with my best friend. As soon as I saw the map I opened up and showed my daughter where I stayed and was telling stories about different areas we visited and didn't visit (shhh). The trip down memory lane was worth a ton of hearts. Thank you so much for the awesome package. These are the swaps that make swapping so much fun.
Response: You're welcome. Hope you can use the stuff.

Comment: What a huge package of goodies!! I love the smell of old books! My favorites are when the pages have yellowed with age. The music sheets are great-I use a lot of them in collages. And I've been meaning to try a zentangle atc so the kit is perfect! Thank you so much for a wonderful swap!
Comment: Ooo! Aaagh! Love the book pages! Thank you soo much! Not sure if you're like me, but I cringe & believe I hear the book screaming every time I pull out pages!! Aagh! One of the hardest things to do in swapping ;/
Response: Yes, I agree. But these books were free and damaged. So I'm happy to extend their usefulness a bit.
Comment: ZOMG!!! How much fun am I gonna have with all these (you really sent far too much - it cost you a fortune to post! BUT I am very grateful :D )
I love LOVE love all the foreign language newspapers (for the ads as well as the font etc)
Comment: Thank you for your lovely letter and copies of your butterflies. A wise person once told me a craftmaker (artmaker) is one who works with their hands but an artist is one who works with their heart.
Comment: I don't know why you didn't like this one. It's really cute and your students named her well. Rae seems pretty content to hang out with (read: find mischief with) the rest of the monster gang here. Thanks!
Comment: (I thought I sent you a rating yesterday, but I don't see it on my screen today, so this might be a repeat! ) Thank you for the cute minizine! I think I had you in an art journal swap before and I recognized the cartoon face on the cover even before I saw your name! Hope you are still enjoying San Francisco!

Comment: Lovely paperbag journal, Susan! All the little extras were very fun (especially the large tags) and the art journaling suggestion list was a great idea. I especially loved the 'butterfly impression' page - great inspirations.
Comment: Thanks Susan! For the future, it is sticking up too much to fit in my covered rolodex... bamagrrl has guidelines posted for how big they can be. Regardless I like it! Especially since there was recently an earthquake here.

Comment: Thank you so much for the amazing paper bag journal that you sent! Every page is a treasure! I am so impressed that you included so many ideas, quotes, and techniques! Besides showing it off to my friends, I will use it as a handy source for future ATC's and projects! And you were so thoughtful to even include some stampers to get started! You put so much effort into this! I'm not sure where you find the energy after chasing preschoolers all day! You have made my Swap-bot Hall of Fame! Please watch your mailbox for a little surprise! Take care, Karen
Response: Thanks for your kind comment. So glad it is well received. One does receive a lot of schlocky stuff here so I wanted to really do something nice. And it relaxes me after a day of chasing preschoolers around.
Comment: This may get confusing..I still have not got my Journal from the #2 swap yet. You are like me and get it done promptly. Very nice and especially for all the fantastic extra's..it was like it was my birthday!! I will be able to use it all.
Comment: Thanks for all the great pages! The envelope was slit open at the top, but it looks like nothing fell out.
ETA: The tape held fine, it was the part where the flap folds over that is slit open. Maybe someone is censoring your mail?? :^)
Response: Whoops! Dollar store envelope + dollar store tape = open envie?
Comment: Thank you for the bookmark! I'll certainly be using it to read Chamber of Secrets. (I can't immediately tell if the images are from Order of the Phoenix - been a while since I watched the movies - but having them all within the blue car shape works for me.)
Response: I bought an HP book to use images and they are a mixture of the movies. But I loved using the Anglia as the shape. Enjoy.

Comment: Thank you susan for the stamps. The envelope had been opened by Australia Post for inspection by Quarantine. It came to me with a huge sticker saying "PASSED QUARANTINE" and a brochure inside saying why it was opened lol, all the stamps must have looked suspicious on the xray. Thank you for the variety:)
Response: I thought I put a customs label on it describing the contents. Oh, well, glad thay made it to you safely.

Comment: Thank you for my GreenCraft magazine, and I don't know if it was fortuitous but repurposing is a major focus in my life, not just my crafting. This was an excellent pick, I entered this swap on a whim and figured I was going to be disappointed but I wasn't. I am looking forward to poring over the projects and being inspired! Thank you again!

Comment: Thank you Susan! I grew up in the Bay Area so what a great surprise to get a partner from SF. I must admit however, the ATC made me miss and crave egg foo young from my favorite place there. I love the card and thanks for a couple extra blank ones--they will be put to use.
Comment: Hello Susan,
I got your ATC today - loved it! I love sushi too!!!
Thank you very much for the precut atc cards - I really appreciate them as I don't have a guillotine and find it hard to get straight lines :)
