Comment: Hi Vicki and many thanks for the wonderful ICAD Day 6 I received today. I love the background you created and the wonky stitching around the edges. The metallic leaves are a really special touch with the beautiful saying you attached. Thanks so much for a great swap!!
Response: Thank you for the heart - I was happy with it but wasn't sure anyone else would be!
Comment: Hi Vicki, thanks so much for your answers for this round. I feel you re sand at the beach; it's amazing how it gets EVERYWHERE so easily but doesn't want to wash off of ANYWHERE. Loved the poem; I'd never heard it before. I studied poetry in college and birds are a favorite subject. I grew up in a German-speaking home so I recognized the phrases, although I can't speak it anymore ;+( Hope to see you in the next round!
Response: Thank you for the heart - I'm a big poetry fan - the poem was from a Weekly Reader I got as a child over 50 years ago and glued in a book I keep my favorites in. Viel Spaß beim tauschen.
Comment: Vicki, this tag is absolutely beautiful. I love the gold dot paper you used as the base and all the embellishments are really lovely. The gathered lace around the top hole is inspired! I'm going to try that! Thanks so much for another lovely swap.
Response: Thank you for the heart - I'm so glad you like it - I'm always unsure if my tastes will appeal to someone else!
Comment: Oh my word! This turned out absolutely gorgeous! I love it so much; I’m going to use it as my journal for the month of September! Thank you for all of the care and love you put into creating this- it really shows!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Comment: I love these! And I was just expecting one! Thank you! And congrats on your new kitten. I have three cats, but I’ve been craving kitten time. I just love them. I can even imagine 4 oz! That is so tiny! I hope she continues to do well.
Response: Thank you for the heart - these were fun to make. Kitkat is getting fatter every day - she has amazing climbing abilities for such a little thing.
Comment: Too funny! My Mom always tried to dress me in pastels which made me look ill as I was so pale. I love bold and bright colours to wear. Was so glad to start buying my own clothing as a teen. Your envelopes are lovely. There is a place for muted tones, gives a vintage feel which makes for versatility . It is amazing the crafty videos you find on YouTube! Thanks for two lovely envelopes!
Response: Thank you for the heart - so glad you like them - they were fun to make.
Comment: Hi Vicki! Thank you for the lovely tags you created for me. I love that you went longer with your dresses--they look like real little dresses ;+) Love the pins at the top and am going to use these as tags for my granddaughter's birthday gifts this year--she's quite a fashionista and will love them!
Response: Thank you for the heart - these were fun to make!
Comment: Thank you for these lovely tags!!! They are all adorable! I know how it is to have something fly out of my hand and then never see it again! Lol My craft room is the Twilight Zone for sure!!! Ü
Response: Thank you for the heart - Happy swapping!
Comment: I loved the way you did the string on this card: so neat! It might have given you trouble, as your note said, but it turned out well. Thankyou, too, for the selection of diecuts, they have been stashed away, ready for my next cardmaking binge!
Response: Thank you for the heart - Happy Swapping!
Comment: If you ever make it this way to the San Diego Zoo, check out the koala exhibit. It's great living in "Koalafornia." I think our zoo was the one that had that longest living koala. Thank you for the pc.
Response: Thank you for the heart! No matter where I travel, I always take in the zoo. Haven't made it to San Diego yet!
Comment: Thank you very much for the ORANGE fabric. Beautiful designs. So sorry it's taken me so long to send a rating. Things have gotten kind of out of hand around here. With my back so bad and hardly being able to walk -- well let's just say that my husband has do most of the household things and he's not very good at it. He's trying but things are starting to pile up. Thanks again.
Response: Thank you for the heart - Happy Quilting!
Comment: How funny- It took me a while to figure this one out because I didn't look at it closely enough. The original sway name was more noticeable than the new one, so I was looking all through my open swaps trying to find you as a partner. When I found the right swap, then I saw the new swap id on the card. Thanks for making me laugh!
Response: I'd never recycled a used postcard - wasn't sure how much to cover up. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Hi Vicki - Thanks so much for two wonderful Travel themed ATCs. I love them both and are excited to add them to my collection. Thank you for joining the swap. I hope you had fun with the theme. Take Care -Vanne

Comment: Hi Vicki! Your sampler turned out so nicely and I love the papers you chose to add. My absolute favorite paper is the embossed white with gold flecks. Response: My studio is a 20 x 20 ft addition to the house and I still need more room! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I was just thinking about what you wrote. I have that I cross stitch on my profile but I haven't done that since I started SB! This is my sewing room...I mean, my swaps room. It is almost better to call it a sewing room because that is likely more accepted than the this is the room where write letters and Postcards to people I don't know. Maybe hobby room? Then they might ask what your hobby is...hmm crafting room? Heh
Response: So you see my dilemma! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely master board. The saran wrap peeled off without any problem, though I think I did notice why you used it in the first place. No worries though. How did you do the fish though? Were those a napkin?
Response: Thank you for the heart - yes, the fish where a layer off a napkin.
Comment: thanks for my lovely bookmarks- I can feel the care that went into making them. I might copy your idea of index cards. At the moment I put the swaps in a diary that is only used for swaps. I would like a system that records when things arrive here too.
Response: I'm so glad you like them - Thank you for the heart. The index cards are the only way I can keep track.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful block! You know purple is my favorite color. I'm glad to see a little warmer weather. My arthritis don't like the cold and I hate wearing sweaters.

Comment: I love this card so much as it reminds me of my bestie that lives in NM and when we visited and went to the balloon fest! Glad you were also missed by the vortex :):) The kids got one digital day due to ice in the mountains (not near here) and kept looking out the windows to see if it snowed, lol. Enjoy your hot chocolate ;) :):):)

Comment: thank you! sorry for slow rating - our house is being remodeled and the computer was unplugged for about a week (yikes)
My address is Danish - our town has a Danish heritage and all the street names are in that language. I have one of the easier ones!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card. Reminds me of Europe. I love shuttered windows. Wish we had that kind of functional charm here. Update: Vicky you spoiled me. Not only beautiful cards but, the additional rate stamp 🦋...I wanted these so bad and my P.O. was out.

Response: So glad you like what I sent - I like to make my own envelopes because the ones with most note cards aren't quite big enough to include some extras. And, heaven knows, I have enough paper to make 100's of envelopes. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: What a gorgeous dragonfly notecard you used! I really like the floral postcards you sent! It makes me yearn for spring! Thanks! I haven't watched a Korean drama since I was a little girl, with my mom! She would borrow VHS tapes from the local Korean store to keep up with her shows. See you in the mail!
Response: Thank you for the heart and Happy New Year!
Comment: Vicki, this card is so cute! Love the little polar bear (I know they're ferocious, but they're so cute). Thanks, too, for the recipe; it must be good if you've been making it for so many years. I'll give it a try!
Response: Everyone loves the Chewy Noels (and they're practically fool-proof) - Thank you for the heart and Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thanks so much Vicki! You sent some very neat stuff. I loved all of it!! And I liked how you stuffed the envelope in the greeting cards. I recently learned that is the "right" way to do it. I just thought it was a weird thing my Aunt did. But she isn't alone and now I am a "weird" one. Merry Christmas.
Response: Thank you so much for the heart - I'm so glad you liked everything. Merry Christmas!

Response: Thank you for the heart and Merry Christmas!
Comment: I've never met anyone else who's also allergic to pine! People look at me like I'm insane when I say I'm allergic to anything pine scented. I was pretty excited to read someone else has the same allergy lol.
Response: I just tell people I'm allergic to everything that's not blacktop or concrete. Merry Christmas - thank you for the heat!
Comment: Hi Vicki, Thank you for the beautiful, glittery card--such a sweet little girl feeding the birds. Thanks, too, for your answers to the 10 questions--I forgot about The Holly and the Ivy--I love that one, too.
Response: Thank you so much for the heart - Merry Christmas!

Response: Thank you for the heart! This was the first time I made one and I was like "Is it too much? Is it too little? Will it survive mailing?" I'm so glad you like it!
Comment: I loved this postcard when I sent it out and I love receiving it even more. The picture looks like my son and one of my dogs when they were both little. Thank you for the smile. Sorry for the delay in ratings, October had me running around faster than vampire at a blood bank.
Response: Thank you for the heart! I send and get so many cards, I'm not surprised one made a round trip.

Comment: Thanks for this wonderful newsy letter. It sounds like, even though you didn't go on a vacation, you still had a fun summer! We used to always have stray cats, that quickly became family pets, when we lived in WI. I love hearing about all the other animals, too! I wouldn't like the heat and humidity! Thanks too for the stickers and pretty envie. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed my letter, I don't often write them - Thank you for the heart! And it was sacred bamboo, not scared bamboo - curse that auto correct!

Comment: I love the card! I love your story - I remember a Sherlock Holmes exhibit at our Science Museum, and it sounds basically the same as yours. It was SO FUN! Do you like BBC's Sherlock? I was always a fan of Sherlock Holmes, but REALLY a huge fan of that show! Or Elementary, which I'm going to watch, but haven't yet? I think the Sherlock is the lady in that one... Anyway, thank you so much!
Response: Thank you for the heart! I love anything Sherlock Holmes, including the ones from the BBC and Elementary. In Elementary Dr Watson is played by Lucy Liu.
Comment: Love the PC! My dad had a restaurant and we used to get all the bottled drinks in these wooden crates. Too bad we didn't save any! Your museum visit sounds like fun, I'm jealous, I would have loved to have been there! Thank you!
Response: Thank you for the heart - Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the Malinois card. I would not chose it as a dog for me, it needs to much training. We have Stella, a dachshund mix. She is 12 already and walks slowly. My friend also has many cats. I wish I could have some but Stella hates cats.
Response: Thank you for the heart - I love dogs but currently I'm overrun with cats!

Comment: Thanks so much for the great card. I love smaller dogs most of the time; although, if we move to the mountains then I think I may want a couple of bigger ones. We've decided not to have any more cats after Sassy. I can't imagine that since I do love them!
Response: Thank you for the heart! If I lived in the country and had running room, I think I'd like a bigger dog.
Comment: Thanks for the postcard of the oxen - I thought they were from Scotland, but no - they're from out east! Good for gettin' the wall built. I feel the same way about the volcano in Hawaii. I have seen videos of the lava running into the ocean and I think that's how the island were formed when no one was there... Thanks!

Response: Thank you for the heart! I don't know if I've ever met anyone who's actually been to Coney Island. In New Orleans we had Ponchatrain Beach amusement park but it closed down in the 80's, so it lasted about 60 years.
Comment: Oh you dear sweet lady, I was so pleased with the yarns and patterns. I am so thrilled with the yarn that are scrubby, I haven't heard of that type, and Iove the hot pad patterns,, I think that will be my next project. I knit a neat dishcloth so recognized the sugar and cream, I will send you one to try since you're not a knitter, however, it will be a while, you see I took a fall, broke my wrist a couple weeks ago. I was just going down the aisle at the movie theatre and lost my balance on the sloped floor, did a face plant ! I was so embarrassed.stayed and watched movie, beautiful Easter movie, my daughter insisted I go to hospital since she saw me holding my arm. I thought it was just a sprain, but no, I broke it when I landed on it. Sooooo.. I a getting older, don't bounce back like I used to. But I don't feel bad, just clumsy, comes with age, I will be 80. Next month, but I don't feel like it until something like this. Just not as Agile . Well now I have got that off my chest, thank you so much I will be back to crafts in 3 weeks. Mean while I play scrabble on here And watch Indians play ball on tv. Best wished Marcia

Comment: Oh my gosh, thank you for the beautiful tote bag with the heart on it. It’s stunning and I can’t thank you enough. I used it tonight to go to a craft club and I got loads of compliments on it. If I could give you extra hearts, I definitely would!
Response: I'm so glad you like it - Thank you for the heart. Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thanks for this great swap! I love the yellow envie too! Really brightened my day! How cold was it when you came to Alaska? I have been in -60 degrees here, Wisconsin and Minnesota. At those temps, you have to breath through a scarf. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Thank you for the heart! It was -28 when I got there. I got to see an ice sculpture contest and I figured it would be the only time I was somewhere where ice would keep outside.
Comment: Thank you for the pc. At first I thought it was indeed some lines made with a pen or a crayon. Only after taking a look at the drawing I noticed that it's an ostrich. The picture is quite odd, but interesting.
Response: Thank you for the heart ! And Happy Swapping
Comment: Adorable Bird ATC. We enjoy having bird nest in our trees. Sit on the back porch and listen to the chatter at spring time. We have gotten the smoke filled air from the Ventura and San Barbara fires. Thankfully you survived the Bomb Cyclones. Take care. Sharon

I love your hand drawn snowman. He is sooooo very cool. I think he appears like a happy and playful friend with just a hint of mischievousness. You should draw more often. He deserves 100 hearts.

Comment: Hi Vicki! Thank you so much for your notecard! I love the floral card you sent, and I also enjoyed reading about the cats you took into your home! I wonder, did you ever build the "catio?" I have a friend who built something similar for her 6 cats! Haha it was a cat enclosure that was connected to tubes which led right back to her house as well as all around her backyard. I think these "catios" are pretty neat :) anyhow, I hope all is well on your end, and thank you once again for the beautiful card!!
Response: Merry Christmas - we hope to have the catio completed by year's end - It's been a bit chilly so they're keeping warm in the garage for now.

Comment: Thank you for all the lovely items you sent. I'm so happy you came through the hurricane okay. I was beginning to wonder if we were ever going to get mail again. We got a little yesterday and a few more today. It seemed so strange to go over a week without mail. It's just not normal for us swappers. LOL!
Response: Thank you for the heart - I'm glad the mail is flowing again.
Comment: Such a great envie of BLUE (and one black courtesy of Harvey/no lights -- LOL!). Fun stuff in here -- thanks so much. Hope you and yours are safe and dry. Response: We came through unscathed, just waiting for all the water around town to go down. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Hi Vicki! I hope everything's well. Thank you for the nice postcard and stamps. Here in my country, it is both rain and sun. I am happy that September is now around the corner, it means the cooler days are approaching. Best regards!
Response: Thank you for the heart! I'm looking forward to cooler weather, but right now we're expecting a hurricane.
Comment: Hi Vicki! I am the lucky recipient of you going out of your comfort zone and trying Zentangle. I noticed you struggled with making it be more freeform, but I really do like how it turned out. Thank you for telling me your story of your crafting experience, and sending me your collage tile tries as well. Don't give it! Zentangle is nothing more than fancy doodles!
Response: Thank you for the heart! I just wanted you to know I made an honest effort. I think my hands are better suited to the needle arts,
Comment: Thank you Vicki for the cute mug rug.... I need to lay out all of my mug rugs and see if I can sew them together to make a quilt! :-))
Response: Thank you for the heart. I took a huge picture frame and strung several wires across it with metal clips (I bought the wires with clips at Ikea) and hang little quilts and mugrugs in an ever-changing display.
Comment: Hi Vicki, thanks for the swap and for letting me in on a part of your life. I have one grand, and he is the daddy of the great grand..at 3, he is a little fireball!!
HOpe your dreams come true with lots and lots of littlle neices and nephews!!!!

Comment: Hi Vicki, thanks for the postcard! It tricked me for a moment--I very tucked it into the recycling bin, until I noticed your writing & special stamp! =) Thanks for telling me about the festival.
Response: Thank you for the heart! I hope you're having a great summer.
Comment: What a great card!! Before we saw the Alamo, we were led to believe that it was a big thing; then, when we got there we realized, it wasn't much of a building at all. Tombstone is like that, too. Especially now. It hasbecome very "touristy" Oh, well... LOVE the card. Have a great weekend Karen
Response: Thank you for the heart! The Alamo has been swallowed up in downtown San Antonio so it takes some imagination.
Comment: The notecards you sent were absolutely wonderful! It's hard to pick a favorite because I love them all but the dragonfly one was especially gorgeous. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity!
Response: You're very welcome and thank you for the heart.
Comment: I like your style of drawing-it made me giggle it's so cute and fresh looking. Like the cricut one too but they definetley have styles of their own. Thanks for sending me a smile and happy mail. See you in Jams Land!
Response: You're too kind - Thank you for the heart - I'm glad I could make you smile.
Comment: Got it and was worth the wait! What a clever idea to punch out flowers and randomly glue them on a background. That brings up lots of ideas for me! The extra papers were wonderful-especially that highly embossed blue/purple paper. Thanks for sharing!
Response: Thank you for the heart and the understanding! Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you Vicki. The vintage Pike's Peak card is timely as I'm just making plans to visit my brother in Colorado Springs. I've driven the Rampart Range Road & it's spectacular. Love the Picatso card you included as an extra too.
Response: I'm so glad you like them - Have a great trip. Happy swapping!
Comment: Hi Vicki! Thank you so much for the postcard from right down the road from here...or...well, about 2.5 hours away but...still pretty close! I've not been to this aquarium as of yet--only the one in downtown Houston so maybe one day! Thanks for the idea! Sea life is just always so interesting!
Response: Moody Gardens is definitely worth seeing - I like the rain forest pyramid best. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the nice large sized dish cloth. I really love it. The pattern is so pretty. I also appreciate your thoughtfulness with prewashing it. I have animals too so I probably woudn't have noticed if your housemates tested it out for comfiness. hhahahaha
Response: I'm so glad you like it - thank you for the heart!
Comment: We got our Harley Quinn about the age your kitten is now, I had to nurse her also. My father in law's neighbor brought her over after finding her in the garage and she knew I'm such a bleeding heart that I couldn't say no. That cat is now seven years old and as evil and feral as the day she was found! But I never could part with her. I think it's one half love and one half having put so much effort into her!
Response: Thank you so much for the heart and your note. Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the bold, spiffy card that evokes vintage poster designs, cute bug sticker (which brought back childhood days of playing Cootie, which my mom disliked because of all the little pieces that got lost in the couch crevices :p) AND the complementary WPA Poster (I'm loving that whole booklet) postage, Vicki! I can't believe I had no idea about that longstanding film festival in all of my years of living in Houston. I would love to go next year :)
Response: Thank you for the heart! There were some really good movies this year and a few really bad ones. The web site is worldfest.org. My husband won a few awards this year - he's a cinematographer,
Comment: Thank you for all the wonderful goodies. My desk looked like a party passed after I opened your envelope. I just loved it and couldn't help but smile big. Thank you also for the lovely note. You must have passed me by on your way to the island and I also have several family members in Lockport. Such a small world. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. =)
Response: Thank you for the heart! I'm glad I made you smile.
Comment: Thank you so much! Super Bowl didn't affect us too much from out here in Cypress but my hubby works on Allen Pkwy and he saw some traffic jams. Of course, traveling 290, he sees a lot of that every day.
Comment: Awww, who can say Happy Valentine's better than Snoopy? Thanks so much for choosing this adorable card and letting him speak for you! Hope your day is especially super! Hugs and hearts....⤠jinanne
Response: Thank you for the heart and Happy Valentine's Day!
Comment: Hello Vicki! I love the note card/valentine note that you sent with the old school valentine. I did the same thing only my note card wasn't half as great as yours! Thanks for making my day brighter! Happy Valentine's Day!
Response: I hope it put a smile on your face - Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great PC! That is an unusual looking car. It is hard to believe all this weird weather we have been having. Hot, cold, hot, rain, wind. I know the saying about if you don't like the weather in Texas just wait a few minutes but this is ridiculous lately. LOL!
Comment: ⤠⤠⤠⤠⤠⤠⤠⤠⤠⤠Thank you Vicki so much for the amazing mug rug! I love it, love the fabrics too! Thank you for joining in! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a very Happy New Year! XOXO
Comment: Thank you for the stunning Waterhouse card, wonderful TKaM quote (Atticus is probably my favorite literary character ever), and candy corn sticker, Vicki! I can't believe it's already Halloween and almost November :O Hope you have a good rest of the week!
Comment: Vicki, thank you for the Christmas and I whole heartly agree with you when you say "Peace on earth, goodwill to men" has got to be the most sentimental saying over the Christmas holidays. Shirley
Response: Thank you for the heart! May the upcoming holidays bring you all good things,
Comment: What a wonderful selection of PCs for this swap - I love them all! Mucha is one of my favorite artists and I love hummingbirds. . .but the one of the orchids was just gorgeous and so colorful. . . and who can resist a chipmunk or vintage reprint PCs, both such fun. Thanks again for the great selection ~~
Response: You are so welcome - thank you for the heart!
Comment: Wow, what a beautiful make-up bag, I love it. You did a wonderful job, thank you so much. I am going to use it to keep my small sketch pad, and drawing supplies in. They are usually just floating around in my purse, forever getting lost in there. Now, I have a beautiful, and artistic bag to keep them in. Thank you again Vicki, for the lovely surprise. Have a beautiful week, and happy swapping.
Response: I'm so glad you like it - Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Well, you may have made the envelope upsdie-down, but, it sure it pretty! Thank you --- I love the paper napkins - They will be great to deco with . Thanks so much for a wonderful swap. Happy day to you.

Comment: Thanks so much for the night view of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. I've heard so much about it and would love to visit there one day. The weather here has been hot and humid. We've had a lot of rain, too, and that just makes everything more steamy. Ugh! Ready for fall!
Response: Thank you for the heart! I hope you make it to San Fran some day.
Comment: Hi Vicki :-) . . . I really can't wait to make this recipe. I love pork, I love garlic, and I love any meat dish with sweet flavor cooked in it. One of my favorite recipes is what I call Peaches Chicken, so I know I'm going to love this one. I have all the ingredients except pork right now, but I'm due for a shopping trip to get more meats at the end of the week. Thanks for choosing this recipe for me :-)
Response: Thank you for the heart! I think you'll love the recipe.
Comment: Thanks for your lovely card (and the adorable cat sticker), Vicky! Here, it's back to school time and the beginning of the ice skating season even if the weather is still quite hot! See you soon in the mail 😉
Response: Thank you for the heart! I've always lived in the South where we don't get snow, much less ice. Have fun!
Comment: My goodness, that doll is gonna give me nightmares XD The fuzzy owl will keep me safe though, I think....
I imagine the look on the doll's face is the look just before she jumps up and eats your face off....
Response: Thank you for the heart! I see you agree that the doll is creepy.
Comment: Thanks for the great PC 😋 Edinburgh Caslte is one of my favorite places that I've ever visited. It's such a cool place. Unfortunately I work on an eleven month contract and only get a month off but that's more than the two weeks all my friends get. I still haven't gone to the beach yet this summer (it's so hot and humid) but I do go to San Diego next week and their weather should be a little nicer. Although I'll be inside the convention center for Comic-con the majority of the time.
Response: Thank you for the heart! I told my husband you're going to Comic-Con and he is so jealous. He's a member of the world wide 501st Star Wars group as an imperial officer. My brother is a biker scout and his wife is a Jawa. She's 5 ft tall.
Comment: Thank you, Vicki, for the great Baltimore postcard that you sent me for this swap. I actually go to Baltimore about once per year. I go to Johns Hopkins Hospital yearly for a check-up. So, yes, Baltimore is somewhere I have traveled to many times. Thanks again!
Comment: Enjoyed your wonderful note on the Iris card (TN state flower&my fave purple flower) All note cards are new designs for me with images I have not seen before. Such a special profile related art card you picked for me Thx for being such a great partner !
Response: I so glad you like them - Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you Vicki for the sweet notecard. I love dogs and this one is so cute licking the deer's ear. The Michigan postcard is lovely. I visited there many years ago. The notecards are precious, especially the little oval pink one with a tree, so cute. Again, many thanks. Oh and I love it that this is an international swap where two Texans are partners. Love it!
Response: I glad you liked them - Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful PC! We had no problem where we are with flooding but about 6 blocks down is where Cypress Creek went into all those expensive homes. I feel so sorry for those people.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely inspiration cards (and for joining my swap). I esp. love the fish one -- very cool vintage design. You chose some excellent quotes! <3<3<3 Thanks for the cool postage stamp too.
Response: Thank you for the heart! The rest of the quote about fish is '...maybe not as handsome or as rich, but fish nonetheless.'
Comment: I love this! Cadillac Ranch is on my bucket list of things to see. I would love to rent an RV and just tour the country going to crazy festivals (like the tug of war across the Mississippi in Port Byron Ill) and see wacky things like the largest ball of twine.
You said it best "What a world! What a world!"
Comment: Hi again Vicki! How fun about the film festivals! Do you get tons of ad/free cards from them? I think I would love that, expect for those incredibly bad movies! LOL! Of course any movie I enjoy the critics normally do not, so... Great to visit with you again and I enjoyed the card! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Thank you for the heart! My husband's at a Comic convention this weekend, so no movies for me.
Comment: Hi Vicki! I do that your vintage chipmuck pc is very cute! Well now that you have that box of vintage pcs, hopefully you will enjoy these swaps enough to join lots of them! LOL! Sounds like a great time between the museum and botanical gardens - I would enjoy both! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Thank you for the heart. The problem is, it's hard for me to let go of the vintage cards - I had more than one of the chipmunk.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard, Vicki! I'm ready for summer/nice weather to get here too! Its been pretty nice the past few days! I went shopping with my Mom and Grandma yesterday (Monday) and it was beautiful! So hopefully the cold, icky weather here in Ohio is done for this spring.
Comment: Hi Vicki! Thank you for your very INTERESTING postcard of such an intriguing design art byf Eskayel! Had to study it for some time! It reminded me of looking thru a kaleidoscope! With a limited palette! BEAUTIFUL! Enjoyed the beautiful HELLO Stamp on the back and sticker of a sweet little furry friend on back! Thank you for thinking of me! It meant a lot your touches and thoughtfulness!
Response: Thank you for your kind note - and the heart!
Comment: Hi Vicki! Well, your little ornament is just beautiful. I can tell you've been hand-stitching a LONG time because all the stitching is absolutely perfect. I've already hung it in my bedroom--I'm not waiting for Christmas! haha! Thank you for sharing the story of your mother keeping your little sewn handkerchief--so precious--and thank you for a wonderful swap experience.
Response: Thank you for the kind note - and the heart!
Comment: This is a BRILLIANT fabric. The design is SUPER DUPER cute and I simply loved the texture of the fabric. The stickers are something I have NEVER seen before - they were such a treat to feel. Thanks Vicki for such an amazing parcel.
Response: I'm so glad you like it - Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous vernal Mucha card (going on my mood board :), key sticker, and kind message -- how cool that you used to live nearby many years ago! My apologies for the tardy rating -- it's been a busy, stressful week filled with pet abduction and recovery (I am still furious/upset at the neighbor responsible for this), lots of cooking and baking, community events, and out-of-town guests. Happy weekend!
Comment: Got the atc today...and I love the paper you used on the background! What is it, some kind of fiber paper? If you tell me it's a napkin or a tissue I'm going to "swap llift" the idea...lol! Thank you so much xxx
Response: It's mulberry paper. You can draw on it with a paintbrush dipped in water and it will tear on the line you drew. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Very nice PC! Spring has arrived! It is almost 90F here today! But....next week, the temps are going back down to the low 70's high 60's where they belong for this time of the year. Happy swapping to you.....
Comment: Thanks for the postcard, always good to hear from you. 😋 Sounds like you are watching plenty of fun shows. Grimm has been very fun lately, Rosalee is my favorite. Also, my favorite show Orphan Black is back on. Yay‼ï¸
Comment: Thanks for a WOW stuffed envie full of Goodies just for me. I can and will use the cards to embellish. Thanks so much!👑ðŸ˜
Also, good thing you double wrapped because the washi tape isn't sticky enough and would not hold up.
