Comment: I haven’t received your swap. You messaged me 2 days after send by date. I know you’ve been sick, a wedding to attend & funeral meals to set up/clean up afterwards. I flaked nearly 6 yrs ago, came back and made it up. In the last (nearly) 3 years that I’ve been back I’ve busted my butt to keep up with my swap deadlines along with caring for my invalid parents. This is hard to do alone. Along with their personal care I take care of the housework, meals, laundry & everything else. I get a few hours to craft in the afternoon while they nap, a lot of times it is interrupted by phone calls, visits from hospice personnel or dad needing something. I noticed you marked the swap sent on the 16th, I don’t know where you mailed from, but it hasn’t arrived. I will gladly change my rating when it does. **8/3/19 Peggy, your ATC arrived today. It really is a beautiful card, one that I’m excited to add to my collection. Thank you for following through with the swap & thank you for the added extras, I’m sure I will use them.**

Comment: Swap was due Dec. 22nd You marked sent on Dec 17th and messaged me on the 23rd that you finished the swap on the 22nd and would be mailing it the next time the post office was open yet it still remained as marked sent on the 17th. I've now received the swap with metered postage and dated Dec 30th. Update Jan 19: Peggy, I hesitated to respond here because I don't want to turn this in to a back and forth argument. But your response reads to me like you're trying to make me out as the bad guy here. I am not "on a rampage". I am rating by the guidelines of the swap that you hosted. Your deadline was Dec. 22. There is nothing wrong with using metered postage. The issue is that it is clearly dated Dec. 30 which means that is the date that you mailed it, check your kiosk receipt. Yes you sent me a message on Dec. 23 saying you would mail it the next time the post office opened. Post offices were open Christmas Eve but I expected at the latest you would send on Dec. 26, that's what YOU told me you would do when you said "next time the post offices are open". You didn't do that, you mailed it a full week after you messaged me and you didn't communicate with me about the additional delay. Yes, I considered you a friend and I know you have been struggling with some health problems. That doesn't give you the right to take advantage of that friendship by expecting me (or anyone else for that matter) to abide by some unspoken rule that you're a chronic late sender and I must always give you a 5 even when you don't meet the swap requirements (i.e. deadline). Yes, in the past I have given you the grace when you have sent late but there was GOOD and regular communication. But then it happened so frequently I stopped swapping with you. It seems like the "many others" you are talking about have let you slide by for so long with this issue that you think it's acceptable. It's not! I told you in my private message, you are a group founder and a host. You should be held to a higher standard than any of us to set the example for your group members. I thought the chronic late sending issue was behind you and when I signed up to join your group and asked to become an officer there was no mention that late sending was acceptable or else I wouldn't have joined. I would bet that quite a few people would leave the group if this is one of your rules so you probably ought to announce it to avoid this type of issue in the future.
Response: DEC. 30????? That is incorrect OR it sat in the bins at the post office for several days. I did not realize the send date had not been updated. I will change it! Read your comment below---I did send you a message about being late, but you still rate me down. I don't understand. Also, I don't understand what is wrong with metered postage? I weighed it and bought postage at the kiosk that is available 24/7. That's the only kind of postage you can get through the kiosk. Also, have you checked my profile? I explain there that I've been ill off and on since Sept.with recurring UTI infections. That has made it difficult at times to to complete swaps at my normal pace. I put it there so that ALL my partners could know what is happening. Many others have understood and asked me not to worry because they know I WILL catch up and send the swaps. I have an appointment with a specialist to find out why the infections keep coming back so many times. That was the earliest time I could get as a new patient even though I called in late November. You are the only one unwilling to work with my being sick many times since September on top of my chronic pain and two procedures to inject steroids in my spine to help with that. I am totally bewildered by your responses since we've been swapping friends since 2012. I don't think I could do anything to please you at this point and am weary of the drama. I pray that 2019 will be a good year full of blessings for you and those most dear to you. Thanks for years of fun and beautiful swaps! Best wishes, Peggy I pray that 2019 will be a blessed and happy year for you and all those you care about most deeply!

Comment: The swap was great, I always love your work. Unfortunately it was sent 2 weeks late without any communication, hence the 3. I really wish you had just let me know that you were running late, it would have been no big deal. But I am disappointed that instead, you (as the host mind you) clicked sent when it hadn't been sent and included a ton of extras to make up for it. At least that's what the extras felt like.
Response: Choke---I did sent you a PM about being late because of being ill. I know that I did. I will look up messages to you to find it. And the extras were chosen because I thought you would enjoy using them from reading the swaps you've been posting. Is there any way we can negotiate this 3? I am certain I contacted you, knowing that you'd be OK with its being late as long as I did that. I will do whatever you ask to change the rating, especially if I can find the PM I sent. Have a very Merry Christmas and may 2019 be a blessed and enjoyable year!

Comment: Lovely ATC but it was sent late with no communication and marked sent 6 days before the postmark.
Response: My apologies! I forgot to change the sent date when I realized the envelope was left on the kitchen table and didn't get taken to the post office with several others I sent out that day. I didn't find it until a few days later. I do apologize for my error. It was ready to send on time but was left behind that day which is my mistake. Would you like me to make you another ATC to make you feel better about this swap--just for you, not to change my rating. I just don't pay attention to the postmark dates on swaps I received. I'm just interested in finding out what treasures are packed inside the envelope! Wishing you a great week! PeggyO 30 October 2014: I have never heard back from this swapper so did not know what else to do. She did receive my ATC which was high quality as are all my swap items. Check my ratings to find confirmation of that. I wish this swapper had responded to my offer.
