Make your partner one (1) atc using only duct tape, paper and pen. Do not use anything else. No glue, no ribbons, no marker, etc. Just duct tape, paper and pen. Anything that you adhere to your atc must be stuck on using duct tape.

I'm new to this whole ATC thing so this swap is "noobeh" friendly. If this is your first atc or your 2000th you're welcome to join. New people give it a shot, time tested pros show us what you've got! :D

Please rate a 5 regardless of what you think of the atc as long as they only use the 3 materials (again, duct tape, paper and pen).

U said all we can use is duct tape, paper and pen but then u said anything we adhere to it has to be put on with duct tape? So, can we add other things to the ATC as long as they are paper based, like paper ephemera? Or paper pictures cut out of magazines? Sorry, I'm just trying to understand so I know what I'm signing up for.

If it's made out of paper you can use it. If you can take it to a paper recycling place and they will accept it then it's paper. For example, normal paper, cardstock, magazines, even cardboard are all technically a paper product.

on a further note, stickers are NOT considered paper. Due to the adhesive on them they are not just a paper product.

Right, I've signed up but just want to check nothing gets lost in translation... to me duct tape is that silvery coloured heavy duty plasticky tape you can stick pretty much anything back together with. It's not delicate, it's fairly industrial looking stuff (I taped a whole mess of cables down with it at work today, in fact!)... is this the stuff you mean??

rattissia 10/ 1/2011 #

that is duct tape yes. However, the duct tape manufactors have started making themed tapes. It's still duct tape but has pictures of things like butterflies, flames, skulls, dots, solid colors (like orange, pink, blue, red, etc). Any of the printed ones are fine as well just as long as it's duct tape (the heavy duty industrial tape) :)
