Art and poetry go hand in hand

Ok I thought I would get a single page swap going. If this works well we can do a series and make our art books up that way. This swap is international.

Now think of your favourite poem/poetry or even a favourite passage from a book. It certainly doesn't have to be huge. Place it on your page and illustrate. Any media is acceptable, watercolour, acrylic, pencil. You can work mixed media if you like. Freedom of expression is what Art books are about.

Now I suspect we may have some contraversial subjects here. I think people will understand not to send anything obscene (RIGHT?) . I hate limiting creativity but if we could try and keep it PG that would be awesome.

I am going to keep the page size uniform at 8 inches by 8 inches. Leave one inch to the left blank for binding. This size will work as its large enough to place some writing on with plenty of room left for ART! Another thing........ Make your pages super sturdy, especially if your going 3d. I would probably start on at least 300gsm (95lb) paper which is nice and heavy..

I know I don't need to say it but I'm going to. DON"T FLAKE . No recent ones or nosends allowed. I reserve the right to ban anyone I suspect to be flaker material.

Now lets have some fun. This group could be amazing.
