Description:

One of the first lessons I've learned (the hard way) in creating ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) is to take very seriously the rule "let dry completely." I've messed up too many cards because I've rushed to the next step without letting the previous step completely dry. I'm sure there are other who have learned things the hard way and I thought it would be fun to create a themed ATC that illustrates the lesson learned.

This will be a 1 ATC to 3 people swap so you only have to concentrate on one lesson. This also makes it a great swap for beginners since they can create the exact same ATC three (or more if they want to have some for trading) times.

The only rule is the size must be 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" (64mm x 89mm). Any medium is fine, but card should be able to slide into a trading card pocket sleeve for display.

Hi, all, My biggest problem is trying to cut too many pieces of paper at once and ending up with crooked cuts like the ones on my ATC's. As I understood this swap was to show a mistake we make, I tried to show that with my ATC's. I believe an ATC can always be salvaged though.

Hi, Jackie, thanks so much for your beautiful purple butterfly ATC. Hugs, Nathalie
