This is an absolutely excellent idea!

Having said that, in terms of receiving things I'd admit I'd be kinda disappointed to receive a non-politically themed postcard with a slogan just written on the back...

Do we make our own postcards?

egalite 10/20/2011 #

No, you don't have to make your own. But you can. You can also just send a postcard shaped piece of cardboard box.

@theansswerisseven - do you understand why I don't want to be overly specific here? Basically, people have their own-- different and good-- reasons for protesting the economic system and I want them to be able to share what they are. And I'm wary of sounding like I'm telling anyone what to think. But adding "politically themed" sounds okay. I'll think about putting it in there.

theanswerisseven 10/21/2011 #

@egalite - Oh no I totally agree with you on the politics side! I was thinking more of the aesthetic side - not like it'd have to be a totally handmade postcard - It's just my own personal taste I guess because I like the theme of the swap to be on the front of the card because I like to display my swaps on my wall in my room.

However, I just re-read my comment and want to apologise because it seems rude. I think I wrote it too quickly. But I should have read it back before posting because it looks like I'm criticsing your swap and I really didn't want to do that! Sorry! =[

We should totally have a zillion of this type of swap going on anyhow. Occupy swap-bot!

@egalite I feel like a goof reading back over this. I responded to your comment w/o realizing that this was your swap ;) Thanks for hosting this!

egalite 11/ 4/2011 #

namelessgirl 11/ 4/2011 #
