I Am Thankful For...

With Thanksgiving cming up, I'd like to have something both fun and meaningful for the kids to take part in!!

I know a lot of people have the tradition of taking turns to share what they are thankful for when gathered with their families around their holiday feast ;) ... so I want to bring the kiddos into this, but in a slightly different way (a mailable way, haha!!)

What they will do is take photos of the things they are thankful for (no requirement of how many photos...just send whatever they can come up with) -OR- if they are too young to take photos(or would just rather do something else) they can have the option of drawing the things, cutting them out of magazines, or any other creative way you can come up with!! Include a description of each item and why they are thankful for it(parent's may help if needed)!!

Also, along with that they will send a Thanksgiving card(bought or handmade) and a small surprise!! The surprise can be anything, it's nothing to stress over...something as simple as a piece of candy or a $1 toy!!!
