Description:

Lately I’ve heard some people asking for more crafty swaps. Here is one: In this swap you'll have to make 2 calendar sheets for 1 partner!

They are going to be handmade not printed. For February and March. (Since January is too close and most won’t have them ready before). You can use mixed media (paper, fabric …) and mixed techniques (sewing, drawing etc)

You will take a thick paper or cardstock 15.2cm X 15.2cm (6”x6”), make a grid (either printed or handrawn) with the days of the week and corresponding dates (Feb till 29 – Mar till 31). Write the month somewhere (any technique you like). And decorate-embellish; either according to the month or your partner’s profile (Don’t draw a swimming suit in February!)

Please leave 2cm free of embellishments and writing, on the top of your calendar sheet. Maybe your partner wants to make 2 holes and bind it, with the rest of the months!

This is the link where I got the idea from, so take a look on how you should work (only difference that we’ll eave our partners to do -or not- the holes and bind the sheets)

Handmade Calendar

Also you can do a Google search about "handmade calendars" and see ideas about decorations and ways to write month and days!

I'm happy that I don't have to worry about 1s and 3s, since all our members have no "swap-criminal record"!

Flakers are not welcome, tho I believe I don't have to say that either...

Packaging: Take care to mail it safe if you have embellishments that stick out, you don’t want your work of art to be destroyed!

Any questions are welcome, plz message me, or comment here!

Happy swapping!
