Description: | |
Let's create something with all those ribbon spools we have leftover from wrapping our beautiful packages! We are going to paint, ink, glue paper, or any medium you can think of to cover a spool no less than 3 inches wide and no shorter than 2 inches. Then we will turn these into beautiful stands to display a focal point as you see fit. It could be a magical snow fairy, a party hat to ring in the new year, a huge snowflake, or snowball! Swap photo is from Niki Willaert Here's my example I made for the swap: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27542039@N02/6437817805/in/photostream Please take a look at this photo: this example is Halloween but you get the idea of the concept http://www.etsy.com/listing/80294465/altered-ribbon-spool-with-halloween This is a step by step guide on a lovely wedding cake she made with two ribbon spools: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LYGDupuuv4&feature=relmfu You will have an entire month to create your partner's wintery spool of wonder. Please check out your partner's likes for colors and style to create something they will enjoy. Any questions, please ask! |
