Description:

What a lovely thing it is to have a "stash" of beautiful vintage buttons. They can be used for crafting or your latest knitting project........but most of all they can connect to someone else around the world here on this vintage swap.

You will be sending 10 plus buttons to a new blog friend some were around the world.

Buttons can be different colours and shapes, they can be on a board or loose but vintage in style and age would be the best to send. (This is O! so much not a modern button swap) but a vintage one.

Have some fun and remember this swap IS YOUR CHOICE! and not the person you are sending to, just to keep the surprise going until they unwrap your lovely parcel. If you would like you can always add a little crafting "something" but not what you Have to do.....remember one partner and 10 plus buttons.

Have a great swap - BUT I will ban anyone who does not have a great track record swapping, that is if you do not send your parcels more then twice! I am never happy to block a swapper but WILL ban non senders of swaps.

Hmmm just curious... where do you all buy vintage buttons? I'm guessing maybe online, ebay, etsy, thrift stores, yard sales, antique stores?

yes all of the above................you could even raid a grandmothers sewing box! :)

That is why I have left it late for you to hunt them down and not to have to rush when you get your partner.last signup 17th dec date to be sent by 31st Dec. should give us all enough time to find some darling buttons! Lee-Ann

Hi! I am a newbie here, but I LOVE buttons (especially vintage) and I would love to join this swap. I have inherited my grandmother's huge stash of vintage buttons from the 40's to the 60's so I have lots to share! Can I join, please?
