Description:

This is just a simple fabric swap. It is the tenth swap in a series of 11. We will be sending THREE 9"x9" squares of fabric to EACH of your partners (you will have four). This means you will be sending 12 squares of fabric and hopefully after this, you will have enough to make a queen size quilt.

There are no material requirements and it's sender's choice, so feel free to send your leftovers, if you have any. If you don't like the fabric you got, reswap it in the next one (no one says you have to keep it). DON'T give the sender a bad rating. If your partner sends you a fabric square measuring 9"x9", then they get a five regardless of your preferences! If you like the fabric, give them a heart. Please make sure that your squares are, indeed, actually square. This goes for everyone, including myself.

Newbies welcome with a well filled profile and everyone must have a rating of 4.8 and higher. No recent 1's or 3's. That means 1's must be at least 6 months old and 3's must be at least 3 months old. I will be checking profiles and if I have questions or concerns, I will message you. I will angel if necessary (but I pray it isn't, this really isn't that hard). :D

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN OUR FLICKR GROUP SO THAT WE CAN SEE EACH OTHERS FINISHED PROJECTS OR WORKS IN PROGRESS, EMAIL ME AND I'LL SEND YOU AN INVITE!

9"Γƒβ€”9"=Is it 9 cm x 9 cm?

Wendz 02/ 5/2012 #

" means inches, therefore each block is a square measuring 9 inches on all four sides.

Does the fabric have to be 100 % cotton or wil blends be acceptable?

I would like to know the answer to your question also Debhous. What quality of fabric is required for this swap? Quilt Shop Quality? or just any from Walmart/JoAnn's? Thank you

My experience with swaps is everyone is happier if you give only what you yourself would like to receive.

What a fun swap-I am a fabricaholic...I'm so excited to participate in this one! I just dug out my fabric stash- Time to start cutting : )

I think most of us prefer 100% cotton fabric that can be used for a quilt.. not fabric that isn't much use for anything except blowing your nose on... :)
