Description:

Zentangle Inchies! I'm really new to the whole idea of doodle art, also called Zentangle. I've been practicing making Inchies with one single pattern, and it's not only soothing, and pretty, it's fun as well!

Each participant will have one partner to whom they will send six tangled Inchies. If you have the ability to use more than one pattern, please do so. If you choose to use color, also fine. If you are brand new to this concept, I recommend that you cut and paste this link into your browser: http://tanglepatterns.com/ These are sent to your partner via Snail Mail, as this is a Type 3 Swap.

If you have a lower rating, or recent 3s or 1s, PM me with a VERY reasonable explanation.

I do repetitive doodle art - but it is not exactly trademark-ed Zantangle. I will e-mail you a sample & you can see if it fits your definition. I have been doodling for years and years! Thanks. I don't want to disappoint a partner.

Not sure one can exactly Trademark patterns which ave been presented throughout history in various cultures. Some of the patterns are copied from Henna Designs handed down for hundreds of years. Some look like African fabric patterns, some resemble Native American bead work. People in all cultures do individual art, sometimes called doodling. Some of this is called Zentangle. What I foresee is zentangle becoming a word like Bandaid or Q-tip. Nobody OWNS the creative process. What you do is create patterns of your own, which is all any of us does when we make art. Your Design is not going to disappoint.

PLEASE, please feel free to copy this swap as an international swap. I literally choose between postage stamps and toilet tissue some months, so International is not in my reach. Always feel free to copy my swaps as international.
