Description:

Our theme this month is "French"

Well romance was a natural choice for this month. Unfortunately I am single so initially I contemplated a fish in the sea type theme. Since there don't seem to be as many as I've been told, we need to make more. Anyway another swap partner this month was from gay Paris and living on the Champs Elysees no less, so I thought France/French might be a bit more fun. Actually I think it will be an interesting challenge too!

One french themed quilt block 12" plus 1/4" seam allowances to measure total of 12 1/2" quilt block to your partner with a short note explaining how your block fits the theme.

Block and colours are senders choice but feel free to post your preferences to help your partner delight you.

I am stuck with this one give us some ideas

I would have prefered things that you could eventually put together in a quilt

You could use shabby chic fabrics. French country. Applique a poodle. A french hen, macarons, bon-bons. Use a block that has the name France or French in it. That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. Everyone let me know if you'd like me to change themes. I can always go back to fish, I just thought that might be a bit boring.

Is everyone still OK with the theme or would you like me to edit and choose another?

I was able to find some beautiful fabric that has writing on it in French...it also came in a number of colours so that made things a bit easier
