Description:

A very easy and quick swap.

Most paper crafters have a love a paper and most often an abundance of it. I thought it would be a great idea to swap some of our papers for new papers.

You will have to send your partner 24 patterned scrapbooking paper/cardstock that has been cut to 6 inches by 6 inches.

Please feel free to use papers that you already have or you can purchase new ones. Please have no more than 2 sheets that are the same. They can be coordinating but dont have to be.

Please send only items that you would like to receive.

This is a random item swap and is not profile based -- please keep that in mind and rate a 5 if you receive 24 different 6 x 6 papers -- regardless if they are your "taste" or not.

Newbies are welcome, Flakers not, I will angel if somebody flaked on you.

I will be checking profiles and will refuse any recent 1's and 3's without an email explaining why.

Have fun!!

Is it possible to ask my partner, for other sizes ? I prefer A5 (half of a printer page) for my paper, coz it fits in my junquejournal/smash book ????

snowy652 02/ 7/2012 #

you can ask but they may not want to send it as the swap is for 6x6

hmm...how many in cm is 6x6? sorry, I am a bit new to this, just made my first album and I dont really know messures, but I would like to take part on it =)

I've already got my cut to 6 x 6" so I won't be able to change it unless partner wants their papers smaller.

snowy652 02/24/2012 #

6x 6 is the right size so no need to change it :-)

I'm interested in joining this swap but I'm knew to all this. I'm just wondering how everyone ships the paper. I would hate for the paper I send to get bent or ruined.

Stephanie2008 03/ 2/2012 #

oh wow..should say new to all this lol

I send mine in a plastic sleeve and the envelope taped to size -- sometimes putting cardboard pieces around the paper -- I also get alot sent that way -- never has any been bent

Can we send other decorative papers, not just those made for scrapbooking? Origami paper is usually around 6x6 inches, so would this be ok? :)

rachelcdoyle 03/ 4/2012 #

I hope it's scrapbooking paper only. I'd hate to get paper that wasn't strong enough for what I use it for when that's what I'm sending out. :(

If partners arent assigned soon, I will be dropping out of the swap...going to town tomorrow to mail everything out...

snowy652 03/ 5/2012 #

scrapbooking paper only please

limitup 03/ 5/2012 #

thank you, snowy652 for assigning partners!!! And I agree with everyone else...scrapbooking paper only, please!

failjolesfail 03/ 7/2012 #

I'd be cool with non-scrap booking papers, as long as they're nice...origami, washi, lotka have a high cotton content and are fabulous decorative papers, but not particularly stiff.

Really hoping I get my paper soon =/ I'm getting super anxious.
