Description: | |
I love learning about new books from my friends and penpals. Usually, the books that they suggest are ones that I have loved and have often been added to my favorites list. When I read a book that I really enjoy, I can't wait to tell more people about it and discuss its information and story. For this swap, you are agreeing to write a letter about the book that you are currently reading, or perhaps your favorite. You want to give a basic plot and character outline, but make sure not to reveal any spoilers if your book contains serious plot surprises. Mostly, though, you want to write about how this book made you feel. Did it change the way you thought? Did it change the way you saw the world? In writing this, of course, you're also writing an introduction about yourself. This assignment is an easy way to introduce yourself without the rigidity of an introductory letter. Your partner may choose to write back after they've read the book, but it's not mandatory. This is a great way to share a common bond with a penpal right away. The Business: This swap is open to those with at least 10 type two swaps and a rating of at least 4.8. No recent 1s or 3s (I'll be checking everyone's profile). I hope that I can count of everyone not to flake, but I will be happy to angel if it becomes necessary. I'm not assigning a page requirement, a stationery requirement or a handwriting/typing assignment. This swap is about content. If you'd like, include any/all goodies (a bookmark?) that you want, but those are not a requirement, either. I hope everyone finds a penpal and a favorite book! |
