Description:

I love MadameCupcakes Series, and after thinking I thought what a great thing to combine with a love of history as well. So I will be starting the monthly Historical Women ATC series.

For the Month of March we have Amelia Earhart:

Amelia EarhartJ uly 24, 1897–disappeared 1937) was a noted American aviation pioneer and author.Earhart was the first woman to receive the U.S. Distinguished Flying Cross, awarded for becoming the first aviatrix to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She set many other records, wrote best-selling books about her flying experiences and was instrumental in the formation of The Ninety-Nines, an organization for female pilots. Earhart joined the faculty of the world-famous Purdue University aviation department in 1935 as a visiting faculty member to counsel women on careers and help inspire others with her love for aviation. She was also a member of the National Woman's Party, and an early supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment.

You can interpret the theme , be creative and have fun.

ATCs will be of standard size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) make sure that you use a good backing for your ATC good stiff card stock or something similar. I myself love to re use things like soda boxes.

Make sure you fill out the back, Username Swap date and title. The basics for the back of your ATC so your partner has the information!
